Food close by was nice

very good place good place too stay. staff was very freindly .only thing i can stay is front desk person had also keep towels for the pool leaving front desk unattened and towels short. was not the desk person fault. cuz management.

I was surprised there was not a microwave in my room, but there was one in the lobby.

We enjoyed pool area. It was clean and nice amout of seating. Hot tub filter was noisy. I was under impressed as ADA room was totally accessible for handicap. Adding bars is a nice amenity but for someone with MS that is not always enough. 3rd floor incase of fire? How does physically impaired person get out?

Hockey kids/parents ran over the hotel! Pool area had to be closed due to vandalism. Sad birthday weekend stay.

Always love to stay here, clean property.

The staff were incredibly helpful, polite and professional.

Property was clean but you could tell it was a busy place with lots of turnover. Chairs and carpet were worn and bathroom could use a refresh to keep to the standards of the many Hampton Inns we have stayed at. Staff was friendly on arrival.

We would stay again

Hotel was new, like new. Breakfast was great, the grand daughter loved it! Staff was good, and helpful. Lady running breakfast did a nice job!

The breakfast was hit or miss. Great the first day, but not so good the next two and then great the 4th day. The pool and hot tub were shutdown for cleaning. I believe it was due to a Baby Ruth in both but can't confirm that. I picked this hotel for the breakfast and hot tub. So I was disappointed.

Gentleman at the front desk was rude. Breakfast staff were friendly. Food seemed reheated and old.

Very clean and very dog-friendly!

We got to our amazing spacious room only to have a constant dog barking next door. We went to the desk and asked if there was anything we could do. Our only option was a King size suite. Well we didn't want to deal with the barking dog all night so we took it. We squeezed 6 people into a fairly small room with 1 bed, 1 pull out couch & 1 cot. The layout was awful as there was a desk in the middle of the room with the tv on it so we couldn't all relax & watch tv. We were not impressed. The staff was very kind and polite but their hands were tied too as the hotel was pretty full. I honestly would love/feel we deserve a refund. I dont' forsee ever returning there. :-(

Great Night Stay

The staff were so pleasant and helpful. The room was very comfortable and spacious

Location is good. The outdoor electrical outlets were great for electrical vehicles, and they were utilized several times by several electric cars.

The room was HUGE for the price we paid! Excellent service from every staff member we saw. The pool area was clean, towels always refilled, the hot tub didn’t have an overwhelming chlorine smell! Went to dinner across the parking lot and used a complimentary coupon from the front desk. It was an absolutely perfect stay! Thank You!!

The air conditioner didn’t work properly, very hot in room. Told desk and they didn’t seemed concerned. Mentioned to room service and they said oh that again. They didn’t want to really do anything above and beyond because I booked through Expedia

We like this hotel. We did notice some trash under the couch when we moved the lounge chair & there was a crack in the shower wall. Otherwise we will stay here again.

Stay was good, it would be nice if hotels had rooms that no pets have stayed in.

Our room was just great for a big family. The whole place was quiet and safe. Breakfast is a plus, really loved my short visit at Hampton Inn.

Staff were friendly and overall, the facility and cleanliness of the room was great. Would definitely stay here next time we’re up in Duluth again. Location was close to everything.

The staff was very nice and helpful with our “tourist” questions. The hotel was fully booked due to mEA weekend, but service was never bad. I would recommend any family to book this hotel. It’s so convenient to all the stores you may need.

The pool was broken for our entire stay which of course is no one's fault but our special needs daughter insisted she was going to swim. To be fair as p

We had a great time.

We decided last minute to come to Duluth for our anniversary. We have always considered Hampton Inn as reliable, clean and with a decent breakfast and it was all of that. We had a great time and our room was very comfortable. I especially like the large bathroom area to put all of my supplies.

Pool closed

We purchased this the night before and there was no mention on the hotels app that the pool was closed. Children were extremely disappointed. When you pay $300 for a basic hotel room, it’s frustrating to not be notified that there is no pool.

Not the quality the price reflected

I stayed here with my three very young daughters. It was a little noisy at night with people jumping around above us but it was a weekend and there were a lot of kiddos there. No big deal. It was a nice stay.

It is a nice clean hotel for one night. I didn’t like the pricing. I’ve stayed here for $200 before. Just goin up to watch UMD sports. Since Duluth was busy $450 a night?

Was very nice and newer. Staff were very friendly and greeted you right away. Easy parking. Off the main road a little but easy to find. Don't get the traffic noise. Very nice continental breakfast.

Great place to stay

Our big family has been to many hotels in the past year and this is by far the BEST and CLEANEST hotel yet!! All staff were amazing! The kids had a blast and good rest. Pool and hot tub were super clean. Our pets had room to run around the hotel room and a great pet potty spot with poop bags. Breakfast was delicious and simple. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will utilize it again if needed. Thank you to everyone who works there for putting in the effort that is no longer there every other place. Your hard work is noticed!!!

Everything was wonderful

This is our go to hotel when we stay in Duluth - it’s literally central to everything! Clean, quiet, and the beds are always comfortable!

We asked for our room to be cleaned after the second night and it wasn’t done. Dirty towels were on bathroom floor. Unfriendly front desk staff member.

Room looked as though it had not been vacuumed. No TV station guide.

I paid good money for full monetary service's only to find out the pool and hot tub was out of service. Front desk gave no reason, no reimbursement mentioned.

Was a nice hotel, but nothing special

The sink was clogged and the customer service was very very rude to me. My advice is to not bring your home life to work and to be kind to every customer!

Terrible house keeping!

Window shades had holes in them. Only one of the electric window shades worked. Room wasn't cleaned and turned down one day of our stay.

Our room was cleaned but there was a little smell to the room. Hint of wet laundry or muggy smell. The systems were down so we didn’t get our key cards until our last evening. We stayed for 2 nights. Our family could use the pool or hot tub because of an incident in the pool earlier in the day. Could have been a better stay. Just a couple of unexpected incidents.

The hotel lobby was kind of shabby but the room was clean and quiet. They messed up our reservation and then blamed Expedia- they don’t honor ANY booking sites beside their own- so I guess call and make plans verses get your room given away and then you blamed for it.

Spacious room!

The room had so much space! All seven of us (husband, myself, five kids) stayed in the room without feeling cramped. Amenities in the room were nice and it felt very clean. We didn’t use the pool or the breakfast so I cannot speak to either of those things.

The hotel could make improvements in both customer service at checkout time and with overall cleanliness.

No shampoo or soap in the room. The drain wasn't draining well either. Room #302.

Front desk and breakfast staff went out of their way to help us out and make the trip memorable for my kids. They sought out my son when the cereal delivery came in order ensure he got his favourite cereal, lucky charms even though breakfast was over.

The rooms and the beds were comfortable. Would have liked it to be a little cleaner. Loved the extended pool hours and the full size towels in the pool. Also loved the recycle bins near the elevator. Please consider having place to refill water bottles to reduce plastic waste. Please also consider reusable dishes at the breakfast to reduce plastic waste

The staff is great and polite. The room very clean. The only thing there was some kids on the upper floor making been loud and slamming the room door.

Noticed there was a lot of dirt along the walls in the bathroom, some hair still in the tub. We didn’t get to use the pool or hot tub because a baseball group of kids soiled the pool and they had to close it. For 750.00 for two nights and no use of the facilities I feel there should have been a discounted rate.

Clean lobby and room. The only complaint was that the room could've used vacuuming.

6 night stay. House keeping refused to stop into our room. multiple days we asked to have towels and toiletries restocked and was never done.

Great property.

The place is wonderfully typical of Hampton, just dependable quality. Breakfast was a little different each day, my “accessibility” room was safe and spacious. I will go back !!!
