Great staff service. Probably the best part of the hotel! English friendly too. I could only select a smoking room, unfortunately. Clean and simple, although it was very obvious that it was a smoking room. For a central spot, close to all the shopping and tourist attractions in Nagoya, this is a good place to stay.

Basic.

Virtually zero natural light in the room made me feel I was staying in a cupboard. Generally shabby (eg. veneer chipping off the chipboard furniture, stains on the worn carpet) and only one small (3 person, if they get along) elevator for 9 floors. Staff were good-natured and willing but had limited English. One reminded me it is a business hotel. Maybe booking sites could be explicit about what that means. Location was good - walking distance to station, museums and subway. Happy hour was popular!

Nice amenities. great breakfast. they served free flow drinks which is great. wished i stayed longer.

I booked a smoking room, however it was quite dirty, with stains on the curtains and lamp from both wear and tear and smoke. Breakfast was good, nothing special but a nice inclusion that added value to the booking. I felt uncomfortable at one point, as it felt like a staff member was staring at me whilst I ate breakfast. Staff weren't particularly welcoming.

We enjoyed our stay last year, hence did not hesitate to book here again. Staff at Reception are friendly and efficient. Room/washroom is really small, would only recommend to tourists who will hardly stay in the room, and who are aware of Japanese standard size room. Area around is not as lively as Sakae, which is a pretty long walk, or 1 station away. Free breakfast and happy hour is a plus if you have time for it. Perhaps best for business travelers who do not plan to go around much.

Okay hotel, good happy hour ideal

Hotel itself is ok. Dated furniture but not too bad. They can do a better job to clean the rooms and the hotel staffs are not able to speak English (not even simple once like smoking or non-smoking room), this needs to be improved. The Happy Hour idea is great. You can relax and have a drink before going for dinner. If you are just stay for a day or two, it will be okay but I won't suggest to stay for a long time.

Nice hotel with cheap price

Hotel provide free drink during happy hour (1 glass) Room is clean and full to amenities, not so big but enough for us. Breakfast provided which is a place. Location is only few minutes walk from Subway station. Able to store your luggage for free before check in and after check out.

Staffs were nice, but room was not as expected. And we found out no parking was available .

staff are great with free light breakfast. quite near to the station too, just get us 5 mins to find the wah to the hotel from the station. though the rooms are a bit small, there is space to open two medium size luggage and no space to walk.

Fantastic stay

Staff are friendly, attentive, and helpful. Our room was small but we knew this from thier description when booking. Room was clean and well kept. Very little road noise. Breakfast was good. Happy hour was great. Close to the subway station. Would happily stay again.

Location was perfect, conceirge staff was knowledgeable and very helpful/on hand to provide assistance when required. Rooms had all the facilities required, neat and tidy, water pressure in shower was very strong! Much needed after a long days walk around the beautiful city.

Good location, about 15-20 minute walk to the Nagoya Station. Breakfast was nice. Rooms were a little small, so wouldn't recommend for long stays. Great value anyhow.

Polite Staff

It's too warm inside room, I have to open window for ventilation. Overall satisfied.

The room is small. The room ventilation does not seem to work. We called the room service but it still doesn't work. We decided to open the window for fresh air to come inside. Luckily, we only stayed for a day. On the plus side, the breakfast is good.

Great for what it is

Nagoya is much cheaper to stay in than many of the other places I have visited in Japan, but the best bargain is Hamilton Hotel Black for sure. The staff are always friendly and courteous, and the location is absolutely perfect for our needs. The rooms could be updated, but considering the price and every other benefit of this hotel, I'm more than happy to stay here when I visit Nagoya.

Convenient and value for money business hotel

Location of hotel was good as it is near Fushimi station. Room is really small and air conditioning could be much better. Good value-for-money and suitable for a one night stay for business

Cheap price, breakfast is simple but good. Quite close to subway. Within walking distance to 栄. But wifi is stupid, you have to ask front desk for a device to connect wifi. Overall is good.

Good place to stay in nice area

Hotel Hamilton was great for check in. We had our bags forwarded onto the hotel and Byrne time we checked in, the bags were ready in our room. The hotel reception with free drinks was fabulous. However, we tried to do washing in the hotel and after using the dryer 3 times, our stuff still wasn't dry. Also, my boyfriend and I both had trouble connecting to the wifi. I had asked reception twice about the issue, however, we were only given a router to connect to when my boyfriend asked (!).

Central, Convenient, Value

We really enjoyed our stay here. Free breakfast was small in variety to chose from but there was plenty available (& it was free so I can't complain about that) Also had happy hour every evening to enjoy a free beverage of your choice in an atmospheric setting. The room was a decent size and comfortable and quiet dispite there being a construction site next door . Only complaint was the bathroom sink/shower paint was chipping a bit but this did not detract from the stay at all. Right next to the science museum and heaps of convenice stores/restaurants nearby.

There are many restaurants located near this hotel. Within walking distance from this hotel to the Nagoya train station. Hotel staff was helpful. Room was clean, however, the size of the room is a little bit small.

Small room, Fair cleanliness

Small room Hair was found on WC pan. Tea bag in mini bar was expired. Air conditioning was too hot when outdoor temperature was about 12 degree C.

Nice room, friendly staff, definitely recommend

Really nice hotel, the room was small, but that's to be expected in town in Japan. Besides, it was cosy because of its small size, and had everything we needed. The staff were very welcoming, even though we arrived on the wrong day [a day early] and let us extend our stay by that one day [by paying though obviously]. The only thing I was a little disappointed with was breakfast, as there wasn't a great deal of choice compared to other hotels I've been to, and obviously as it's not in Europe it doesn't have the usual continental breakfast, but for those less fussy, it'd be fine.

Convenient hotel close to shopping district

Hamilton Black is close the Nagoya's central shopping district. It took us 10 min strolling and taking pictures along the way. It is only a subway station away from Nagoya Station which houses the Shinkansen...

Close to Underground station, but small room

Good location, have convieient store just 2 minutes walk. Have lot of Eaters nearby. Just room too small for two people. Breakfast have not too much choice,but still pretty good

NOT A PLACE FOR TOURISTS

I choose this hotel because it was well rated but was really disappointed. Room was small not well cleaned, with humidity stains on the walls, bathroom dirty and smelly - we asked to change and got another cleaner room (hopefully!!) but still - everything in the hotel seems not clean at all and not maintained. Ok they offer free drinks in the evening (we arrived too late - maybe this is why we were able to see all the defects of the place!!!) and the breakfast is included (buffet of bread (margarine+jam) and hot beverages, plus some rice/japanese dish) but I do not recommend this hotel - it's 20 mn walk from the Nagoya Station (5mn mn walk from Fushimi Subway station but it still takes 20mn from the station. The castle is 40mn walk, so is the Toyota Commemorative museum and the (really nice!) Noritake Plant/Museum. This is not a place for tourists.

Distant, moldy and noisy. Not a good choice.

Do your self a favor and find another hotel. Not a great location relative to the JR Station. Subway was close, but takes as much time to negotiate as it does to walk. Totally not impressed with the room. I expect small rooms, but 2 people could not pass one another in this tiny room. Room was barely larger than the bed and the bathroom was a tiny modular job that was so small your knees hit the wall when you use the toilet and I'm not a tall person. Bathroom was probably clean, but mold was everywhere. Looked like it had not had a deep cleaning for a year. I'm not real picky, but I thought about having a discussion with the front desk but decided it probably wouldn't do any good. I was pleased that on the last day, a more thorough housekeeper did clean up some of the grossest mold without my intervention. Room was very noisy as you could hear people knocking on doors and hear their conversations down the hallway. You also had to leave your key with the front desk when you went out which I was uncomfortable with. We don't spend much time in the room and this one makes me glad of that. Won't stay here again.

It is a business hotel. It is good for tourist who are on the go. It is conveniently located need a subway. The free hour is a good bonus.

Great hotel

Near to subway station, only one station to nagoya main station for all local transport, many restaurants around. Easy access to tourist spots. Breakfast provided is nice, staffs are friendly and helpful. Overall have a great experience staying here.

Good experience in Hamilton Hotel Black

Stay 3 nights here, the staffs are very helpful; wifi is stable for lobby and inside the room, no need to request the password; breakfast is good and the location is convenience, the only criticize is the pillow is too soft.

Budget hotel so do not expect much

Everything in the bathroom looks old. Room only provide heater/fan, so we had to open the window and sleep at night. Simple breakfast provided, western style serve bread and salad. Japanese style serve rice , side dished and soup.Please do not expect much from the breakfast. Highlight of this hotel is happy hour from 6pm to 8pm, you can get free flow of drinks included beer. It is about 3min walk to Fushimi station exit 6.

Very good, but the room is a bit too small

My stay was quite pleasant, the bed was comfortable, but the room was very small with little room to move around (I stayed in a semi-double). Hotel is strategically located with subway station and convenience shops nearby, staff were helpful and friendly, free wi-fi in room, I would recommend to choose a double room instead of a semi double .

近くに食事ができるところもたくさんあり、伏見駅からもほど近く立地は良いと思います。 建物や設備の古さは否めませんし、そこは仕方ないかと思いますが、それでも最低限の清掃がきちんとされていて不快に過ごすことはありませんでした。 朝食も、今の時代に無料で付いてくるものとしては個人的には十分でした。

改善を望みます。

立地の為かラブホのように 窓が締め切られているは仕方がないかと は思いますが 水栓が壊れている 空気清浄機、ベットの下が埃まみれ などは改善されてほしいです。

リノベーションしているホテルによくある、中途半端で残念な感じのするホテルとは違い、清潔で洒落た感じのホテルであった。コスパもよく、再度利用したいと思わせるホテルであった。

スタッフさんの対応は、いいけれど。

無料朝食付き、フロントや、スタッフの対応良好でしたが、窓から景色や光が、入りにくい部屋でした。（すぐ横にビル）しかも、サッシのカギが閉まらず、隙間風。フロントに電話して部屋は、チェンジできましたが、今度はチェンジした部屋のバスルームの電球切れ。すぐ対応してくれましたけど、設備はあまり良くなかったです。アメニティも最低限。サラリーマンが、出張で1泊するには、いいかもしれませんが、旅行者には、少しガッカリかも。

飲料水の自販機が各階にあると便利と思いました。朝食を6:00から食べれるようにして欲しい。何時も間に合わないので食べることができません。

夕方のサービスお得です

窓からのすきま風 上がらないブラインドが評価を下げましたが、お値段利便性を考えると妥当ですし。サービス込ならお得です。単独の旅や出張使いならむしろオススメかもしれません。是非

経年劣化は仕方がないと思います。

การเดินทางสะดวก ใกล้รถไฟ ของกินหาง่ายมาก

交通方便，地鐵伏見站6號出口步行兩分鐘， 榮商圈附近，購物方便 ， 寧靜 ，酒店整體設備可接受 ，早餐基本可以接受，員工招呼態度服務良好， 已多次入住。

全てではないですが改装されており、全体的に綺麗だと感じました。ウエルカムドリンクにビールがあったり、値段が安いのも魅力です。 ただ、部屋の外にテレビ音が漏れる点や清掃スタッフのマナー教育など、少し物足りない点もありますが、リピートしたいホテルの一つです。

冷房があれば…

滞在したのは11月とはいえ昼間は暑かったので冷房をつけようとしたら暖房しかなかった。

Very easy to access by airport bus. Not far from subway. Staffs are so very nice. Have a basic breakfast for free and also have free drink every night. I will stay this hotel again if I visit Nagoya next time.

傍晚有提供免費飲料在大廳，雖然距離地鐵站一段距離，且房間有點小，但整題來說是很方便的

お風呂の排水が上手く行かなかったのと空調調節が出来なかった。 朝食が美味しく満足できたので、気持ち良くチェックアウト出来た。

また利用したいですね。

160センチで足が伸ばせる浴槽でした。 シャワーの水圧が弱いですが、ウェルカムドリンクでアルコールも飲めるし、お値段以上でした。

他の口コミ通り外観だけきれいな感じでした。朝食はおいしかったです。

登記入住的服務人員非常有禮貌,是一位年紀很大的先生,有回到家的感覺,客房冷氣不冷,只有三種模式,強.中.低,調越強冷氣發出來的聲音就越大聲..也不怎麼冷...馬桶一低頭就看得到汙垢....晚上的HAPPY HOUR很棒!

空調太冷

整體來說可接受，櫃臺人員很親切也熱心。唯一是冷氣太冷。只有關掉/H/M/L 四個選項。H還是冷，關掉又會悶熱。這應該是空間不夠大造成的。

軽食程度だが、朝食がついていてお得だと思った。主要観光場所へはすぐいけるので助かった。駐車場がないのが残念でした。

連泊したのですが、ベッドメイキングまでは必要なかったので、アメニティだけを希望したら、部屋の入口において置いて頂けたので、プライバシー保護も含め、有難かったです。 また、welcomeドリンクで、ビール等アルコール、ソフトドリンクも1、2杯程度ですが、飲めるのも良かったです。 駅近も、Goodです。
