Very friendly staff
Although our room was not ready upon our arrival, the staff tried very hard to make it up to us, which we appreciated. Our room was nice and many things were within walking distance of the hotel. The area around the hotel seemed fairly safe, but it is located in the city so there needs to be realistic expectations on safety and noise level. The noise did not bother us at all because we were so tired, but could be problematic for a very light sleeper. Overall, this was a good hotel and we would likely stay there again.
Over all I would give 5 star for the employees from the front desk to door man, the rooms are ok, breakfast not many choices, there is craft market right across from the hotel, there are restaurants walking distance. Overall it was good stay
The ambience was exquisite.
I love this hotel and I will be back to Peru and I’ll be staying here again. All of the receptionist are amazing and the security was great as well
I liked it nice and comfy
The place was ok. The breakfast was tasty. Front desk service was ok. Carpet in hallway was gross. Room was actually quite nice.
Great location, great service and comfortable
Great property!
I liked this hotel so much I came back at the end of my trip. This is a great property in a great location with a great staff. The room was very comfortable, and I would highly recommend it. Great breakfast too.
Poor noise insulation for room with a main street view. Had to wake up early morning due to this. Service was very good. Breakfast was awesome, the omelette was well done.
EXCELLENT SITE !!!!! Near good restaurants and very clean.
Cleaness
Excellent
Excellent, totally recomended

Exceeded expectations
It’s ok
The customer service at hotel was superb. Thank you to Ms. Nicole for all her help after losing my phone and trying to get around town. She and tge entire staff get 5 stars. Warm, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Enjoyed my stay, highly recommend.
This was an exceptional experience. Since we put a foot on the lobby to the checkout was marvelous. The Hotel Staff was kind, gentle always with a very positive attitude inviting you to come back every time you visit Lima. Quick to solve any issue you may have. And it is closed to everything. We were really happy with our stay there. We'll be going back on our next visit.
Excellent Hotel, Good Services
Clean and friendly Excellent breakfast Close to Miraflores action!!
Good location, staff very friendly and breakfast was good
Service was pretty good! Very nice people :)
I suggest don't use their wifi.
It was nice. The hotel itself is beautiful however be careful using the hotels wifi. My ipad went missing and upon checking out I was told it was found.
Disaster
Was called by reception at 1015pm last night to be told we have to leave hotel as it is closing today. Peruvian president is closing borders and all foreigners have 24 hours to leave.
nothing, dirty, unfriendly people , smelly rooms, expedia emplyee made a mistake n i had to pay extra, they tried to charge me their counter rates, no good, i will not go back again.
The service keeps getting better
Good location, Lovely staff
Good hotel at a moderate price. Construction continues next door but only during the day. Rooms are small but clean with a good firm bed.
My stay at Habitat Hotel was comfortable and just as I expected from the price for a 3-star hotel. My room was simple and complete, the front desk was very helpful in arranging taxis to and from the airport, and I was impressed by the complimentary breakfast (which included eggs, not just breads and juices!). As noted by others, the adjoining building is under construction, and you can definitely hear noise during the day, but I slept fine with earplugs (you are in a city on a busy street, after all). I stayed at Habitat at the beginning AND end of my trip to Peru, and I was quite content to come back to this hotel and its location after moving around the country.

Location near; stores, parks, restaurants and transportation.
Very well located and the staff is great! They took special attention to all of us while we were there.
Nice attitude in hotel staff. The breakfast buffet is loosing quality. The fruit juices are 35% fruit, 64% water.
Initial check-in went poorly as I had been hung-up on three times via international phone calls to inform them of our 15-hour flight delay. I was understandably upset. Our room was a converted something-or-other with a huge window looking into the bathroom from the bedroom. It had a huge spa tub whose jets didn't work and was otherwise unusable due to the very-low water pressure. The mildew on the carpet was horrible, leaving our bare feet and shoe bottoms black. The mildew smell was difficult to bare even with the room window open. Our room faced the adjoining building under renovation and the noise was 24/7. The super-King bed was a welcome relief from all the long-distance walking we did. The breakfast was, well, uhhhhh .......... disappointing to say the least. We had to buy cold milk at the nearby market for my cornflakes-only cereal choice as the milk provided was hot milk. No French toast or pancakes, no bananas or fresh fruit except for diced Papaya, no bacon. The OJ was OJ-flavored water. The dining room had ONE salt/pepper shaker for all to share. The cereal spoons were tiny teaspoons. The only eggs provided were scrambled eggs. On the plus side, the lone dining room worker always smiled and accommodated the patrons when possible. The extra-helpful, friendly staff were a welcomed plus as well. This property is well-located with food choices and shopping just outside the hotel. Overall, I cannot recommend this property due to the mold/mildew.
Long waiting to check in, did NOT clean the bedroom ... left the room around noon, came back around 6:30 and the room was not clean
The location was great! Close to eateries and great shopping for nice clothing, souvenirs, and grocery stores.
Staff were helpful especially Kimberly who helped when my son needed medical care. William called the doctor who helped my son. Fortunately my son recovered.
The service at this hotel is awful. The staff is rude and un accommodating, I would never stay at this hotel again.
The hotel arranged an airport pick up for us and was clear and timely in communications. Check in was smooth. Staff friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good & generous in types of food. The modern, minimalist decor was nice, room was clean, bed comfortable. Our room was kind of small. Others were roomier. Location in Miraflores district was handy for getting to interesting places in Lima.
Great breakfast and good location. It was a bit noisy due to construction around the hotel. It is across the inka market where you can start a guided bike tour, which we loved.
Excellent in every aspect. Great location and an amazing staff
Clean and great service. They helped us store our luggage when we arrived early.
Room is spacious and staffs are friendly and helpful.
Great budget option in Miraflores
Very nice little budget hotel. Attentive staff. Good breakfast. Convenient to Miraflores/Park Kennedy. Wifi is a bit spotty, mattress could be better.
Great reception sraff and helpful other staff: great breakfast: very well run hotel in a great location.
Habitat Hotel was in the heart of Miraflores with a ton to do in the area. The staff were welcoming and helpful at all times. Rooms were clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful in the morning. Only problem was wifi--a bit spotty, when travelling internationally, that's one thing I depend on. Overall, great hotel would stay at again!
Hard to say but I expected much more for what I paid. The rooms I guess are just not that nice but fortunately the staff, lobby and breakfast area are’
Stayed for just one night, but room was comfortable with just enough space. Check-in was easy and staff knew English fairly well. Breakfast was good -- some warm options (scrambled eggs, potatoes) along with cold cut meats, cheese, and fruit. Room was a little humid when we arrived, but we left the air on while we went out to cool it down. Pretty walkable to a handful of places in Miraflores -- and super easy to grab an Uber
Clean, safe, great location and extremely helpful staff. Don’t get your laundry done there though as it is extremely expensive!!
Excellent location, walkable to multiple restaurants and to the larcomar center. It was quiet, comfortable, and secure. I would stay again.
The location of this hotel was perfect. It was safe and quiet at night, but close to the sightseeing places on our wish list. The hotel staff was great. They arranged taxis for us and answered our many questions about Lima. Our room was small, but had everything we needed - except bottled water which wasn't included. We also had trouble with the shower. It was very large, but it took forever to get the water to run hot and then it was still just lukewarm. It was hot in Lima when we were there, so I didn't mind the cold water after a hot afternoon of sightseeing, but my sister didn't appreciate cold showers in the morning.
The hotel is very nice, fancy, and clean. Especially for the price. It is in a nice area. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The only bad thing is that our room faced a main road with lots of cars at night and even worse, there was construction outside our window starting very early in the morning.
Very nice hotel. Room had nice carpeting and tv. Bed was comfy. Room had a safe and a fridge and housekeeping cleaned the room daily. Upon arrival a doorman took my bag inside. Check in was quick. Very nice breakfast. Hotel is close to downtown Miraflores and an easy walk to there. Gas station close by to get cheaper snacks and drinks. And the gas station has an ATM inside. Will stay here again and recommend to any traveler.
Great location near Kennedy park
Great location, walk everywhere. Decent breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Just make sure you don't get a room facing the huge construction project next door. They start early.
Convenient to restaurants and attractions. Good sized rooms and bathrooms.
The location is convenient. Staff is nice. Breakfast was very basic compared to other hotels The room was clean but very small The room was also very noisy since it was in the front of the main road, which made it difficult to sleep. I probably wouldn't stay here again.
Clean and good valued hotel in miraflores
We enjoyed staying there. It's right in front of inka market. Breakfast was good. The view from our room was ugly but quiet since it's not faced to the street. Beds were comfortable. Wifi was fast enough. We will stay this hotel again.
Great location, definitely recommend getting the airport express bus into the centre, cheap, safe only 5 min walk from double tree hilton stop. Great room size, breakfast, bathroom a bit dated but everything else perfect, 2 min walk to Kennedy Square
Pros : Nice hotel, clean and comfy room, walking distance to Miraflores shopping centre. The staff were very friendly. Cons : I asked for an Iron and water kettle but they refused to provide me with either of them which I found abit odd....
Location is excellent polite and very nice staff Clean modern hotel Great breakfast Highly recommended
I was able to get a room after booking that morning. During check in, I found out that only Peruvian nationals pay the additional 18% tax fee. The bed takes up almost half the space of the room so that was cool. The TV is of relatively small size and is way up in the corner so it was kind of a pain to watch. The room was really clean. The room had AC and Hot/Cold water. Tips: The small fridge in the room has a small selection of soft drinks, water and even beer. Be aware that these are not free. I was charged S/. 6.00 (PEN) at time of check out for the bottle of water - which is 4x the price in store. The continental breakfast on 2nd floor has a decent selection and it's free to dine in. The windows were not sound proof, but the area is dead quiet for a good night sleep. The shuttle to the airport was going to cost S/. 60 (PEN). Take an Uber for S/. 37 to the airport instead - it was a 50 min ride on Friday at noon for reference. Overall I would definitely stay again on my next trip to Lima.
Very well located between the districts of San Isidro y the tourist area of Miraflores.
The rooms were clean, and housekeeping did a very good job. The continental breakfast was excellent. I would recommend the hotel.
The walls are very thin, and you can hear everything happening in the hallway at all times of the day.
Very good location! Shopping stores and restaurants just around the corner. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Not the Best stay
The location of this hotel is far from the miraflores city center unfortunately. The service at this hotel was lacking. The staff did not manage to make us feel welcome. We are a gay couple and do not speak Spanish and could not help but think that the staff behind the counter were gossiping relating to us. They did not greet us as we came and went. The bathroom was slightly dirty when we got there with shoe footprints on the floor.
Best Breakfast I had in my trip to Peru
Habitat hotel exceeded my expectations, very professional enviroment, lots of business people stay here. My room was very clean, great bed. Nice size bedroom, with plenty of hot water. quiet. Surrounding neighborhood is not great to look at, but its ok. We were offered transp from airport at $26 US it was the highest we paid, but worth the ease. Take note all hotels in Peru make copies of your passport required by law to not charge you a local surcharge. Hotel is located in Miraflores, right across the local craft market. It's a few blocks few from Parque Kennedy. Across the street form Saga Falabella (dept store) is an money exchange house with very favorable rate at 3.26 soles per dollar (best rate we found). You can also buy cigars and mapachos there. Walking down the ave Jose Larco got to Larco mar and upscale shopping center on the edge of a cliff with great views of the coast with free and free cell phone chargers. good places to eat, but go to Punto Azul for the best grilled octopus and ceviche I've ever had.
Hotel was ok, friendly staff. About 30 mins from the airport.
I highly recommend this hotel. Good location, very helpful staff, maps, directions, Internet service - computer room, not only Wi-Fi. Clean, very good breakfast. Good shower with hot water and good water pressure, which is rare in Peru, Plenty of towels and toiletries
Habitat Hotel Lima
I enjoyed staying here, a very nice hotel with modern facilities in a good location and with a nice restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Recommended
I was pleased with my stay at this hotel and have no hesitation in recommending it. The staff was helpful at check in, the breakfast was good and it is in a good location.
Nice hotel, staff was very helpful. I am just adding stuff to please orbits word requirements for a review
Excellent hotel. Safe and close to good shopping. Stayed here 3 times on our Peru trip.
Safe area, Nice room
Very convenient place to stay, nice staff and close to shopping areas. Market for Peruvian textiles, crafts and musical instruments is only a block away. Can safely store bags here if heading on short trips.
Friendly staff and clean room with great Wifi. Will stay there again before we leave Peru.
Clean, comfortable hotel on a main road, but quiet
A very nice comfortable place. Good bed ( not too hard,) and very good staff: friendly, helpful and polite. Good breakfast included and they made arrangements for us to have food and coffee when we departed at 3 am. It took a cab ride to get to main attractions like the Malecón and Larco museum so budget for that but definitely a good place to stay
Nice hotel
Helpful stuff, nice hotel, the only thing they dont provide complementary shuttle buses airport - hotel- airport, they offer but it is expensive
Clean pleasant modern hotel. Stff are friendly and polite, always willing to help.
Beautiful hotel, very friendly and helpfully stuff.
Great Location, Good Breakfast, Comfortable Rooms
This hotel is in a convenient area of Miraflores close to supermarkets, restaurants, and stores. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is pretty good. The rooms are pretty basic, but have everything that you would need.
I booked the hotel room because I had a late flight out of Peru at 1am and just needed a place for a few hours to store my bags, take a shower etc. I booked a single room. When I got the the hotel they insisted I pay extra money for my Girlfriend even though neither of us were staying the night. Breakfasts were included and we were not taking that either. There was zero reason for them to charge us extra. Staff is rude. They give you a metal key with a number on it. I was in rush when leaving to catch a flight and they asked me to stay in the lobby while they check my room. Ridiculous hotel. Do yourself a favour a skip this one. Lots of better options near by.
Good service. But the rooms are so small
Dirty
The only pictures that accurately describe this hotel are the lobby pictures. The rooms are much smaller than they appear to be and extremely dirty. I have attached pictures of a towel found in my room the night we checked in. In addition, the toilet was also dirty with hairs. To top it off the reservation was for two people in a double bed room. When we checked in we were forced to pay an additional fee for having two people in a double bed room. According to the receptionist the room can only accommodate 1 unless the fee is paid. The staff is very cold and disinterested in assisting you with any issues or complaints. no desire to go the extra mile.
Nice stay.
Close to city attractions, nice and helpful staff. It includes a yummy full breakfast buffet. If ever traveling to Lima again I would definitely stay there again.
Hotel is in the great area, very clean. While checking in, I gave my passports but she didn't bother to check the names to confirm and kept telling me that I had reserved for 1 person 1 bed. She was looking at the wrong reservation for about half an hour until she realized that I had made a correct reservation. She kept arguing with me that I gave her the wrong name. I wanted to late check out and they charged me $52 for check out at 9 pm. They didn't do anything to fix their check in mess :(.
Across the street from the market. Great location
Excellent experience
First time visiting Lima and this hotel was excellent! The staff was very friendly, accommodating, and spoke English which helped a lot. They had an amazing breakfast every morning with a lot of food options. The room was clean and comfortable. Lots of shops and restaurants near by as well as a quick walk to the ocean. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Lima for the first time or anytime. I definitely would book again.
Habitat Hotel Review My wife and I have been to Peru 3 times within the last 3 years. We enjoy the people, culture, history and food. On our most recent trip we reviewed the Habitat hotel and decided to stay there. BIG MISTAKE! When we arrived around midnight, our taxi was greeted by an older gentleman who helped us with our luggage to the Hotels front door. He was nice and appreciated. Once inside the Habitat Hotel our experience with them was all downhill… The man and woman at the front desk were not friendly, helpful and didn’t display any interest in our arrival. We were asked to fill out registration cards with our name, address, phone, etc.… The cards that they provided us with were used previously with whited-out information from previous visitors. We could see the previous visitors information, scary… We were handed the room key and went up to our room. On the way up in the elevator we could smell a foul odor which was even stronger on our floor and in our room. The room had a low-quality King bed with a cheap foam mattress cover, not comfortable. The bathroom had a Jacuzzi tub with a small showerhead centered on the wall above. Poor water flow, cold water and that foul odor…. Our room’s door for security only had the knobs center push button lock, NO DEAD-BOLT or other lock what so ever…. The next day we informed the front desk that we didn’t feel comfortable staying with them for th duration of our trip. They told us to contact Travelocity directly. We did…
The hotel itself is very nice but the front desk staff needs to work on their customer service skills. The lady who did the check in clearly did not want to be there and was doing the minimum effort to make my stay pleasant. I also got charged an unexpected $25 for the stay because i was staying with 1 more person in the room and the room was only for 1 person according to her. This made no sense but i had to pay it anyways, i have opened a case with travelocity and hopefully it can be resolved or at least it can be clearly stated when booking the room that the price is only good for 1 person.
Clean, Friendly, Great WiFi
In today's world the most important thing to share is that this hotel had EXCELLENT WiFi. No connection problems. No Speed issues. Solid and reliable. As well the breakfast had lots of variety and was tasty. The place is clean, and the staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. They also had pretty good English.
Great location, very helpful and friendly staff, will stay here again.
Great place to stay in central Miraflores.
I stayed here twice and had good experiences. There’s an interesting sacred site a few blocks away. The hotel is close to shops and restaurants and banks. The hotel offers a good complimentary breakfast - a great start to the day.
Gem of a hotel
Nice compact hotel in the tourist area of Mira Flores. Friendly staff always greet you with a smile. You can walk to the ocean. Many restaurants and tourist markets are within walking distance. Free luggage storage when we went on a side trip for 3 days! Large variety in the buffet breakfast.
Great central location in Miraflores, Lima, Peru.
Great central location in the center of tourist area in Miraflores, Lima, Peru, at affordable rate. Close to shops and restaurants. Tidy and clean with Air conditioned rooms, cable TV, free WiFi, nice courteous and helpful personnel, free breakfast buffet. This the second time that my wife and I stayed there and would stay again on next visits. Airport transportation at request.
Lima stopover
We had used this hotel already at the start of our Peruvian vacation and it was comfortable enough to repeat for our last night before catching our plane home. The only negative was the breakfast buffet which was entirely unappealing to me.
Great little hotel situated in central Miraflores
The staff at Habitat were so helpful during my 3 days there. They helped me arrange tours, provided directions and area maps and were very gracious with my wretched Spanish. The hotel is close to restaurants and shops and Lima’s largest temple complex. My room was simple, clean and with a great bed. I’ll stay there again.
Bad experience.
There was construction during our stay (noisy, dusty, etc.). We have to move to the eight floor to a new room. Then, the elevator did not work and we had to use stairs to get out and get in. They even charge us for 5 more hours that we needed to stay to take our flight back home.
Great location
Rooms are clean and bed was comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful.
