No AC!! Its listed as having Air Conditioning and it clearly is a lie. Now i see the reviews of other people, the hotel knows the AC doesnt work and they dont fix it. At very least, they need to say that that dont have it. The reason i booked this specific hotel was because its listed as having it. I have Lupus and csnt handle the heat. It was so hot outside and no air in the room. Theres no air flow at all. Not even a fan. No air movement. Its so hot and stuffy. I had to keep taking cold showers. It was miserable!

Less than ideal

Great location for the metro and Olympic Park. However we booked a year in advance three of us..when we arrived there was no rooms big enough so we were given two rooms for the first night. The second night we were moved into another room, but it was bunk beds! Not ideal. The breakfast was good but very busy, the layout is quite poor and chaotic.

Breakfast was great. The staff was really nice. The electronics in the room were interesting: the air conditioning turned itself off and the blinds raised themselves… other than that everything was clean and comfortable.

This is the worst hotel I think I've ever stayed at. The AC did not work, so our room was probably 80 at night, and we were told by the manager that the AC was working properly, but it was not very powerful. Because it was so hot in the room I did not sleep well and ended up getting sick so for most of my trip to Germany I was sick. The only good things about this hotel were the breakfast was good and the location was good, across from Olympic park. When we checked out, the staff asked me if our stay was OK, and I said it was not. She ignored my response, probably because she had heard it so often.

It is very accessible to the subway. Breakfast choices is great. Room thermostat can’t be regulated and it was set at 19 centigrade (66 Fahrenheit) but it was warm around 75 F and if you open the window the thermostat will automatically shut- off. Can’t get a good night sleep.

On the outskirts of Munich - located right at a subway stop but takes 20mins to get into the main parts of the city.

It was a very nice stay at H2 hotel. Just steps away from the subway line to take you anywhere around the city. Also directly across from Olympic Park which is nice to tour and many walking paths and trees for walks or bike rides.The hotel had a delicious breakfast every morning with something for everyone. I would not hesitate to stay at this property again.

The H2 was an excellent choice for our family trip to Munich. The Ubahn was right outside the hotel entrance and we easily hopped on to get to the Marienplatz. Room was clean and economical. Breakfast was amazing.

I liked the proximity to the park and arena. There were plenty of well-working elevators. The staff spoke English and were friendly. The breakfast had a great selection. The rooms and property were clean and well maintained. The only thing I would change is to have a fridge in the room.

The mattress and pillows were thin and very uncomfortable. We could not charge devices unless we slept with the lights on. It was clean but there were a lot of tour groups at this hotel that were loud.

The access to the metro was great and the food was good but the pillows were terrible the outlets in bad spots and the like of other dining options around the hotel was not great.

Overall good property to stay at. But however need lot of improvement in areas of service. Reception is non responsive most of the times. I faced several issues related to lighting in room, the lights stopped working suddenly for a day. Restaurant is good. Better variety of food can be made available for breakfast and dinner too (keeping in mind of international travellers) Convenience is the best, U-Bahn is just next to hotel. Overall good stay experience 👍

No air conditioning in peak summer heat!

First the positives, location is on the edge of the olympic park and has a subway station right beside it. Hotel was clean and had a good choice for breakfast. The main problem we had was the air conditioning was useless and our room was like a sauna. We stayed for 3 nights and the first night was so unbearable none of us had covers and I had to repeatedly get up through the night to run a towel under the tap and sleep with it on me to cool me down it was that hot! Spoke to the man at the desk in the morning and he said he would get someone to look at it. We went out for the full day and returned late on and quickly realised it hadn't been fixed or probably even looked at, after dreading another night in the sauna I went downstairs and was rudely told by whoever was on the desk what do you want me to do? This is unacceptable, I went through to the bar to get some bottled water for my family and the man working could see something was up and after explaining he kindly gave me free water. After another dreadful night we just said to ourselves it's just one more night and we're gone, it's such a shame because something as simple as no air conditioning ruined what would and should have been a pleasant stay. We stayed in a further 4 hotels during our summer trip in Europe and never had this problem.

Convenient but terrible stay

Convenient location and clean. However, beds are very uncomfortable and it's very noisy. Hotel staff are not very friendly and their English is limited. Breakfast is very limited. We asked for our room to be cleaned but it wasn't and we also had another random guest walk into our room, having used a keycard, which makes me wonder if the keycards are all universal. I would never stay here again.

Very nice place for a family. Huge place for breakfast and good food, we were pleasured surprised for the options for dinning in the place. Subway is just a few steps from the front door, so it was easy to go and return from the downtown. Staff always highly professional and kind. I just wished the room had a fridge, but is not exactly a complaint. It has good space and shower/bathroom are pretty modern. Definetly will stay again.

New modern hotel with free breakfast. Not central located but ideally located for our needs and next to subway station. Amazing sushi restaurant next door.

Modern clean hotel in great location next to U3 train station and easy parking. 20 mins to Dachau by car, next to Olympic park. Very busy but breakfast was great and organised with plenty of food and drink. Check in was a bit slow and food offer in evenings was basic.

Next to the park , there is a metro stop in front of the hotel- very convenient. Very clean, breakfast - very good. The shower handle did not work , there was no shampoo/confitioner provided for our stay .

The breakfast was the best part of the stay. Location was directly at a U Bahn stop. The room was clean, the air conditioning didn't work at all, we had to sleep with window open. Had to pull key card to shut off light, which killed all outlets in the room. The staff was friendly when you could get to them, very busy hotel.

Great customer service on a couple of small issues. For me , great location to tour munich. Amazing summer weather so Olympia park was a perfect fit. BMW world is top notch. Scootered to center of town and walking street. Hotel easy to find and rooms are clean. Breakfast was top notch.

Parking for this property is severely limited. We parked in the Parking garage the hotel suggested. But you MUST take the ticket with you or else you can't reenter after 11:00pm till 7:00am. If you have your parking ticket you can enter by presenting your ticket to the auto attendant.

This is a great hotel next to the U-Bahn station. Breakfast was included, and is quite good. The rooms are basic, but comfortable. Our TV didn’t function during our stay, about which the otherwise-good staff did nothing, which was the only complaint.

Guys this is a great hotel for anyone visiting munich. The good: Breakfast is amazing, the rooms are clean and the staff are great. Its right next to the u3 line that takes you straight to the centre and is only 15 to 20 mins The bad: Honestly this is minor but im used yo having complimentary tea or coffee in the hotel however for this paeticular one the o ly time tea is free is for breakfast. Otherwise have to pay. Again minor but was on my mind to add

The hotel was very clean and had excellent access to a metro station within steps of the front door. Could be at the Marienplatz in 10 minutes. Free breakfast was a huge plus and was very good, had lots of options and was better than your typical hotel breakfast.

Convenient high-rise property located near Olympic area and U3 transport. Rooms are spartan but clean and comfortable. Loved the cafeteria area which is open most of the day until midnight, allowing you to get work or other things done at your leisure. Typical but good quality, European breakfast included.

The hotel is relatively new, clean, good breakfast buffet offering and bright. It is also right in front of a subway stop, walking distance from Olympiapark and BMW Welt. The not so good about this hotel is that there is nothing close to it in terms of restaurants or any other things other than i mentioned above.

Nice clean hotel within steps of U3 station with short, direct link to Marienplatz. Breakfast had plenty of options. Menu at night was limited, but sufficient after long days out sightseeing, plenty of variety of drinks available. Would highly recommend this hotel for travellers looking for a hotel not too far from attractions & also very handy to Olympic Stadium. Was easy to get from the airport with only 1 train change. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful stay

The hotel was lovely and modern that’s very appealing to most people who will visit. It has lovely rooms with comfortable beds and brilliant facilities lovely restaurant however I was disappointed that there want more food that English people would have for breakfast e.g. English breakfast or pastries but apart from that I really enjoyed the stay and would be sure to book another stay next year for the Oktoberfest.

Wasn't given shower towels for the first two days and the bedsheets were not clean. After calling the frint desk, they quickly helped amend those issues and werw very helpful and friendly.

Summer in Munich

Steve and Gaia very helpful. We were shocked to find that the triple room we had booked, with 3 large single beds, been replaced with a room with bunk beds. They took some time and care, and were able to sort it out for us. It was 34C in Munich, and the room had non-effective AC. No fridge, no tea/ coffee. When we eventually gave up with the AC, we opened the window, but the loud noises from the customers sitting outside made that impossible too. Didn't sleep at all well.

Mario was brilliant. I have stayed at 5 star hotels all over the world but never have I met someone so helpful, friendly and warm as Mario at the H2 hotel, Munich. It is clear that for him his job is his passion. Making people feel at home away from home. He was the one who made my stay so enjoyable as well as the outstanding food and service. I WILL recommend this hotel to friends and business colleagues. Much of this is down to Mario. He deserves a HUGE PAY BONUS.

Ok for 1 night stay

Checkin was painfully long as I had to fill out forms with information they would already have had on the reservation. Should have only needed to show COVID vaccines code but then had to fill out a form with the same information then get back in the line to get my room key. Breakfast was chaotic with too many people waiting for the buffet. Avoid breakfast at 9am.

It’s a great, economic place to stay. The hotel is new and tastefully decorated. Rooms are small, but efficiently designed. Beds comfy. Though located on a busy street, the windows are so well insulated that they make the street disappear. Breakfast is awesome, all all round a very good deal. Location is also great with a subway station right out front, takes 10 minutes to downtown.

Everything perfect except uncomfortable beds

Everything was great and since our goal was to visit the BMW museum, the location was perfect. The only downside are the beds, they are SO uncomfortable. I can live with that for one night, but not more. Please change those mattresses and get something comfortable for the guests, also to honor the amazing work that the staff is doing!
