Awesome stay,definitely be back

Proprietors and support staff extremely accommodating, encountered an issue whereby I needed to stay an extra night and they kindly allowed me to check in earlier than usual- very helpful toward my situation! If ever in Dipolog City, would definitely stay here again!

Our first contact was Virna. She was very nice and helped us settle in smoothly. She was awesome! We later met Abba, Tessa, Hyzel, Dave, and many others. They all were amazing. The staff and service were wonderful. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. The rooms were beautiful. The food they made us was very tasty. When and if I visit the Philippines again, I will stay in this establishment. Thank you all very much!

The staff makes us feel at home every time we stay here at The Gwandalan House. The hospitality is second to none of places we have stayed throughout the world. Thanks to all there making our month-long visit home with family and friends excellent.

Easy access to the city.

This was by far the best hotel I stayed in on my visit to the Philippines. The staff are truly exceptional, attentive, and extremely friendly. The outdoors were beautiful, the rooms were clean safe and inviting. The staff even recommended a flower shop and drove me to pick up flowers. They go above and beyond the standard here. I highly recommend.

Great Hotel in Dipolog!

Have stayed at this the Gwandalan several times and it's always great place to stay. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are well kept and the food is always good. I look forward to my next stay at the Gwandalan House!

HOMEY!

For us who were looking for homey experience, this hotel just nailed it. It really has the "home" feels, and the service was just like requesting your housemaids to do something for you and they do it immediately.

Pros: small and intimate property. Staff are extremely helpful and available 24/7. Free airport pick up and drop off. Tessa is absolutely wonderful and always attentive to guests. She even made sure I had something to eat when I returned or left at the oddest hours. Lovely garden and decor in shared upstairs living space. Cons: very loud and busy street. If you are sensitive to noise, you may want to ask for a room at the end of the property furthest from the street. If you are on the ground floor, you may hear the noise from early breakfast guests. No safes in rooms. No refrig in room, but you can leave food with the kitchen staff.

No complaints at all. The opposite, very helpful staff and catered to every need and desire, including custom cooked meals, securing rentals at reasonable price, airport pick up and drop, etc. Wonderful place. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. Excellent management and staff.

It was clean and comfortable. Hiwever, the free wifi wasctoo weak, the hot water wasnt and the free breakfast cisisted of three uninteresting items. I think it us over priced.

Five star for cleanliness especially toilet… staff are also accommodating

The atmosphere. A home away from home. Walk in off the street and you are transported to a unique experience. The room was clean and comfortable. Loved being able to eat the breakfast in the open air kitchen patio. You will feel apart of a family during your stay.

Truly House of Rest. Close to family and friends, joining us for Easter Dinner and throughout our stay. Kind, courteous and professional.

Not many locals know about this inn so asking for directions is tough but since it’s a few steps away from Jollibee, the crazy popular Filipino fast food chain, Check in/out was available 24 hours.

Location, price & positive attitude here!

Booked here for location & good price. Staff are helpful & friendly. We arrived at 7 am in the morning & were charged 150 php to check in immediately. Very accommodating and overly fair solution.

The place was very clean and homey. The staff were very accommodating and attentive to our needs. We were there for just an overnight stay and arrived very early in the morning, ahead of the usual check-in time. But they managed to have the rooms ready for us and also agreed that we avail of the free breakfast already since we wont be able to take it the next day (which was when it was supposed to be valid). Food tasted great and the portions were big enough for sharing. They also offered to take us to the airport for our flight back to Manila, even if it was at 5:30am. The only downside was they didn't have slippers when we asked for one. But overall, we had a wonderful stay! Would love to come back again and stay longer.

Woundefull Hotel its perfect the Best Hotel in Dipolog City . We like it so much. Nice rooms nice garden and great yummy Breakfast and all service stuff ao friendly helpfull. Amazing we will come back .

The hotel is really perfect. In support the rating of 9.6. The only minor point that might be responsible for not having a rating of 10, is the sound of the traffic at the breakfast table. Anything else is perfect.

Sehr sauber, Personal sehr freundlich. Einrichtung des Innenhofs wunderschön. Nachteil ist der Lärm von der Straße. Ist in den Zimmern aber nicht zu hören.

Gute Lage, schöne zimmer und das personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
