Nice and close to university hospital!

Great location with a nice park and a little outside chapel. Great old building, with certainly a lot of history. The rooms are quite barren, no decoration and little amenities, maybe an echo of the monastic times. Little kitchen with fridge and all that's needed. Good place for longer stays.

Quiet and clean

My husband was having surgery and the hospital was in walking distance to my room at the Guest House. There was shopping close by. It was great.

Its has a hostel vibes, clean rooms-corridors-common washrooms.

I believe this property can be best described as a hostel. Utilitarian, badly in need of maintenance, paint, some carpet replacement

Only thing missing was a small fridge in room

I was pleasantly surprised by the property. Room was clean, and it was very quiet - unlike being in a hotel where you hear guests in the hallway. It was difficult to find the front entrance as I arrived at night and it was quite dark, but after driving around the property, I found my way. Bed was comfortable, washrooms clean. Shared kitchen area and washrooms were very clean. Felt like I was back in university residence. Conveniently close to Western University. Would definitely book here again.

I like having access to a kitchen with tea making facilities (with Twinings Earl Grey) and a living room with a large TV. Nice atmosphere and quiet.

Room didn’t have shower. I was agree to pay extra to get room with shower, but hotel refused Expedia prices for another room. They required very expensive price for room with shower. I definitely will stay in another hotel next time.

I enjoyed the stay and will come back again. It would have been nice to have had at least basic cable and not just one tv channel available. An upholstered chair to sit in with small desk to place laptop for work. would have been handy Not sure why the moveable light over my bed did not function. I added a new bulb and tested the input which seemed fine. Info regarding the mall close by would have been nice as well as hours regarding availability to the chapel. A small room for exercise is strongly recommended I was surprised that there was no space with at least a bike or rowing machine. Very nice place of which I felt very safe just needs some updates.

I had a very comfortable stay. I enjoyed walking around the mountain and enjoyed the coffee in the morning. Thanks!

I liked the history of the building and found it quaint. I did enjoy my stay and the bed was comfortable, but as it is "no frills" I expected the pricepoint to be more reasonable than a hotel. The people were friendly and the location was excellent.

What service used to be like.

Upon arrival I was greated by the kindest, sincerest front desk person I have ever encountered. It was like coming home even though I have never been here before. The history of the building is fascinating, and the way the owners incorporated the old into the current is genius and respectful of the history. You get more then a bed for the night, you get an experience. This may be the first time in my adult life that I have felt like a true 'guest' at a lodging and not just a credit card.

Easy to get to. Doesn’t cost too much for a cab downtown.

Kind of like staying in a dorm. Clean enough. Functional. Nice (although few) staff. Shared kitchen works well with hot plate and toaster oven. Room with kitchenette had fridge, dishwasher and microwave. But really not your typical hotel.

The area is nice, the property itself is a little oddish. The overall amenities and stay seems appropriate for the price, though there was an additional $15 on the bill that we did not anticipate or understand. I would stay again, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

The room Was Good even with The two twin beds after just moving The one slightly my daughter was able to get throughout and into The bathroom even though Wasn't a accessable room she was only there one of the three nights and The other night I found it very quiet and slept well.i would definitely stay at that hotel again if we ever had to stay AT university hospital again

They need to clean and maintain the property. The outdoor surroundings was nice but not worth $213 Cdn for one night!! Will never stay there or recommend them

Nice room with a balcony. Bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. All the amenities including well equiped kitchen, dinjng area and lounge with large screen tv. Small tv in your own room. Bathrooms and showers were clean.

We really enjoyed our stay in this unique accommodation. We stayed in the family room, it was extremely spacious, taking half of what was once the nunnery chapel, stained glass and all. It’s not fancy but very clean, and the staff was wonderful! Very convenient for getting to the University Hospital. Plenty of parking was always available. We even re-booked when we had to extend.

Clean & Comfortable - Excellent Staff

We had a great stay. We stayed on the 3rd floor, which required entering a code to have the elevator, it worked well. It’s a really unique, hostel like accommodation. Our room had a queen bed with bathroom. It was clean and comfortable but small and very dated and worn. It was perfect for what we needed and the staff was awesome!

Handy to the hospital in London. We could bring our own food and there was all we needed to prepare and eat it in the kitchen and dining area. The price was very reasonable.

My initial room had an issue with the lock but they set me up with another room immediately with no hassle. Very modest but comfortable

This was a former retirement home. For the price, it's good. If you are looking for a simple , clean place to stay - this is it. Yes, it is outdated, although it is clean .

I booked for two nights while my husband was in hospital. When I returned to the room on the evening of the first day, the bed hadn't been made. When I questioned this I was told that since Covid the staff no longer make the beds. I didn't stay the second night. Don;t waste your time and money

Easy walk to Western University

Property was difficult to locate as access was on a side road adjacent to the main road address. Room was quite small as it appeared to be part of a former retirement residence which looked very old and tired. The bed had a very soft uncomfortable mattress which caused me to wake up with a sore back. Also the TV was very small and only had two channels.

Really old facility without a private bathroom. If you want to take a shower after a long trip, it’s shared outside your room. I didn’t see that when I reserved and Expedia didn’t cancel my reservation! I had to go to another location.

Nice facilities for food storage, prep and cooking. Great value for the money.

It’s like an institution but very unique. Inexpensive and so close to the university hospital. No parking fees. The bed is comfortable and the bedding is great.

Nice and quiet

This is a nice quiet peaceful and inexpensive place to stay. It is a hostel so no frills but its clean and you can cook your own meals in the kitchen or enjoy the common livingroom. Close to hospitals if you are an out of towner needing a place to stay.

It's just exactly what you need for a one nite stay. Nothing fancy but I'm not coming for fancy - just a safe place to sleep, wash up and leave. Have stayed there many times - location is best for us. We will be back!

Incompetent and rude staff

This property and environment made me feel very safe. As a woman travelling alone, this place was very homey and always had a staff member around. It also had locked doors by 8-9pm for further safety-- this was a top priority for me. I would recommend this establishment for anyone staying in London for a night or two. Very reasonably priced and close to amenities. I will be staying here again for future trips to London.
