A good clean unit with modern and good quality furniture, dishes, shower etc. We had a good night's sleep thanks to the firm king size bed and peacefull atmosphere. Happy to go back again when in Blenheim next.

Clean and comfortable. Pool was great for our child. Easily walkable into town. Parking is a little awkward but manageable. Check in was really straight forward and my interactions with the staff were smooth. Thanks so much.

Grove Park Motor Lodge is a brilliant place to stay and view the top of the North Island. We called this home base for two weeks. The best part? Every day we left on an excursion and every evening we got back to an immaculate room that looked like we'd just checked in - spotless, fresh towels, made beds, the works! What sets Grove Park apart are the hosts, Marie and Riccardo, whose hospitality is simply outstanding. Their flexibility and attention to guest needs shone through when they seamlessly upgraded us to a larger room for a reasonable fee. The lodge offers all modern comforts: great air conditioning, comfortable beds, high-speed WiFi that never faltered, along with a pool that provides the perfect respite from a hot summer days out. Also, convenient laundry facilities (available for a modest fee) proved invaluable during our extended stay.

Owners exceptional people skills

Friendly host checking in. The two bedroom unit we booked was small and needed upgrading. Lacking a few things (only one mirror and that was in the bathroom), the furniture was super large for the space. It was very clean. Ants though, definitely couldn't leave any open food out! Overall, it was average compared to other motels we've stayed at in Blenheim in the past however, new owners so who knows what plans they may have!

Flexible with our late check-in, friendly and helpful owners/staff, very clean rooms and really good amenities. Instead of bbq use, we made good chicken cordon bleu from scratch in our electric frypan with lid. Easy access (drive to) beaches, groceries and info centre. Plenty of wineries all around this beautiful region. We so enjoyed our time.

An absolute gem!

From booking to arrival, then departure everything was so easy. The hosts are super friendly and you would never know that they had only recently taken over. Lots of options for dinner chargebacks too. They cater for tradies, truckies, corporate and holiday makers and their hospitality is top notch, will definitely be back! Thanks Marie & Rick 💓

Motel room are very spacious and very clean! Staff are amazing. Really enjoyed our stay here. Would definitely recommend staying here close to shops, quiet and very warm :)

My friends and I stayed there while attending dog shows that weekend, they accept dogs so that is great.

Quiet well situated property

Parking can be tight with multiple utes that may be there. Rooms are large and comfortable. Would be nice if the rooms could have a chrome cast plugged in to each room so that you could stream your own Netflix or Disney . Have stayed before loved it then loved it now awesome stay will definitely come back.

Good, clean and tidy

Check in was excellent. Very engaging. Great recommendations for dinner. Room was large, bed was comfortable. Easy ride to the ferry.

We particularly liked the ease and convenience of booking and registering and then just being able to do our thing without any problems or inconveniences while in the background the cleaning and bed-making happened out of sight and mind. Just the way it's meant to. Everything was fine and made our stay more enjoyable. Thank you everyone.

Nice big Motel unit for us all to be in one unit. Nice clean pool. Staff were friendly very willing to top up tea/ coffee and clean towels etc.

We loved our stay there.it had everything we needed..the people were lovely..the pool was cold but we still went in and had a good laugh..the room was great had everything you need.beds were comfy..great sleep..

We chose this accommodation based on the quality of reviews and the reasonable price and were not disappointed.

The property was perfectly located for our stay! We went to the Marlborough food and wine Festival and the bus picked us up just two blocks from the hotel. The manager was accommodating and let us into our room early so we wouldn't be late for our event!! After the festival the pool at the hotel was nice and refreshing after such a hot day. Perfect!!

Grove is the bomb! For our short stay Grove delivered over and above! Excellent location walking distance to getting a morning coffee, best beer garden cafe that’s kid friendly and excellent pool! Despite chilly mornings we had a morning swim and ended the day with one! Clean, comfortable, chilled stay! Coupled with kids movies, comfy beds and clean bathroom and kitchen - it’s the place to stay!

Room was clean and quiet. It was hot too (it _is_ summer), but the heat pump worked great and so we ended up having a really great stay! Definitely recommend for a family or traveling alone.

Convenient location on the way into Blenheim. Priced well with facilities as expected.

We only stayed for one night, the room we had was nice and spacious for our family. The room was tidy, clean and warm. The kitchen was well appointed and easy for cooking in. We didn't visit the surrounding area as we were only passing through but it was very easy to find. The only thing for us was the road noice but we live rurally so are not used to any noise at night.

Quiet and convenient Choice of restaurants within easy walking distance.

We stayed in a 1 bed unit. Very tidy and spacious with comfortable beds. Highly recommended, one of the best motels we have stayed in.

Only trouble I had was accidentally mistaking the Grove restaurant for the hotel but very quickly fixed that and got back on track. Check in was easy as, and the room was really nice, the pool was quite pleasant too and not too busy which was nice. Had some peaceful relaxation with my partner there. Would definitely come back!

Exceptional Stay

I was delighted with my stay. The friendly clerk gave me very good advice on what to see on the South Island. Check in took seconds. The room and contents looked brand new and very clean. Chairs and bed were very comfortable and the bathroom was excellent, especially the shower. I could not be more pleased with my stay and will definitely stay here again when in the area.

Business Trip

Great place. Modern and clean.

We arrived late from the ferry but keys were organised in lock up with contact number. Comfortable warm and slept like logs. A great stay thanks, highly recommended.

I was disappointed in that there were no land line phones in the room and unless you are on "roaming" you cannot make local calls. Also dishonest as my Down Syndrome son left his keys in the room, I was contacted by Expedia and sent $80.00 (New Zealand) dollars over to post keys back and am still waiting. Unless you use this facility only as a stop over, just keep driving by. I would not recommend this motel to anyone - especially if you are travelling with a person with special needs.

On the surface the unit appeared clean, but we noted mould in particular in the bathroom ceiling/wall area

Very good room and bed. Super friendly staff. On the edge of town and on main road, sadly the trucks on main road start around 630 after the first ferry arrival I guess . Not bad enough to stop me booking next time though

Everything about the motel was very good

Private and convenient location

Super Clean. Quiet room as we had an end unit and it had double glazing. Comfortable King size bed and handy to the pub for our dinner. Excellent shower.
