It was clean and had a nice bathroom. It was also close to Paknsave and city centre.
Room clean and comfortable . Out door property really run down .
Great
Comfortable for one night.
Bang for buck a good stay. Reasonable price. Comfy beds. Good Location We will go back again.
Reception staff nice. Feel sorry for room service staff for the crap vaccim cleaner provided to them to do the task. The vaccum in reality sucks nothing. Mr owner . Please look into this.
Short walk to the main strip
Kind young man at reception
Really economical for us. Great facilities and really kind staff.
Great, comfortable room with a spa bath. It was clean and cozy, with everything you need. We’ll definitely be back. Thanks Grosvenor.
Highly Recommended
The great guy at reception allowed me to change my room to a downstairs room due to a knee problem. Upgraded at no extra cost. Would definitely stay again.
My accommodation was wonderful
Great stay, great property and well loacted
Lots of hassle about $200 bond required although room had been paid for in full before we arrived. Not the fault of staff who were very polite. Bad management. Room was clean and bathroom ok but a dearth of what is usually provided. Toiletries sparse to say the least. Shower inconvenient without any place for soap or shampoo. Only one pillow
Dirty floor, need spare towels, front of fridge damaged and small bottle of milk would be good.
The room was fresh & very clean which we appreciated.
The room I had was newly refurbished and spotlessly clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would happily stay there again and have already recommended it to others.
The unit had been recently renovated, so was clean and tidy. However the only place to wash dishes was in the hand basin where I presume teeth had been cleaned, also we did not use one chair as the legs were damaged. There was good locked storage for the 10 e-bikes traveling with our group.
There was a beeping noise, alarm going all night. Was not at hotel but very close by. Was very annoying. Otherwise stay was good.
Lovely, rested and slept-well.
quiet, peaceful, comfy, warm.

No particular gripes about the accommodation. The staff and facilities were nice enough. Exactly what you'd expect.
I stayed in a refurbished room Really clean. Everything worked
Property under some construction and old. Amazing what photos can do to make a place look fresh and stunning.
The property was reasonable although there appeared to be people who were staying there as part of emergency housing. This meant there were a lot of arguments in the courtyard that you would not normally experience.
Beds are to soft and not good for your back
Property is a social housing motel that also had building/renovations happening. Place was so bad I did not stay second night that was paid for. No mention of this at all on site. Do not recommend this place at all.
Room was recently renovated to good standard - but disappointment was absolutely no hot water for a morning shower. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hopefully they can get the hot water working. The outside of the building looks tired and needs renovating.
Hamilton
Quiet and comfortable. Room had been recently renovated
Very clean and tidy, staff friendly. Excellent stay.
all good they need to unblock shower tray
Location great but property has become quite tired.
Comfortable basic accommodation, fine for the price
The property needs a major makeover it was very old paint peeling tv would go on channel one. Bath is too hard to get in and out of for older people. Not enough chairs to sit in and generally rundown
This room had mold all over shower curtains there were alcohol and all sorts of stains and smells.i would like a full refund actually, just for putting up with it. This motel should be closed down. Don't stay there I would rate this O
Good location. Beds were awful. Need replacing, you can fèel every spring!!
Nice bathroom and bed. Electric jug area is a bit limited.

Room was clean. Fridge was not clean. Left over food was still in the fridge
Being charged before we arrived! TV remote not working at all on very basic TV. Replaced at 9pm but we were over it. Shower wash in the strangest cheap bottle ever with a nozzle like a cows teat???
Staff were friendly and went about their work discreetly. Amenities in rooms good , cleanliness very good. Conveniently located for food outlets, bars, shops and sporting events. Pleasant walks by the river into the city centre.
Good value for price paid. Second time we have stayed and would stay again.
The room smelt . Also the shower curtains were disgustingly dirty. The bed was too soft and the mattress was stained. It could have been cleaner. I was happy to leave. The receptionist was nice and helpful. Great location.
Filthy stove top - covered in grease, dirty dishes in cupboard were wet and some with grains of rice on them, no plug in bathroom basin, vanity drawer in bathroom falling out, base of iron blackened and pitted (should have been replaced), 3-pt plug in main bedroom falling out of wall, spare blankets in main bedroom for double bed far too small for that size of bed.
The spa bath had no seal around the edge and the water from the shower went down the gaps. The fridge was turned off at the wall and I had to pull it out to turn it on and there was dust underneath. There were not enough blankets on the beds and no spare ones in the cupboard.
Comfortable and quiet ..............................
The first room we were put into smelled really badly of a mouldy smell. The bathroom ceiling and toilet were covered in mound and bathroom door had signs of water damage. Carpet was old and smelly as well. The did swap us to another room which was much better but still had things like a blown light bulb, loose and rusting catch on the window and blurry sky tv. The whole motel probably due for an revamp.
Thank you for a second great stay, room was nice and quiet and set back from the street! Nice and warm room and daughter loves the pool. Thank you for the cookies
Clean and well priced. Bathroom window was blowing a gale until I used some cardboard to completely close it. shower had nowhere to put your soap, shampoo etc, except on the floor. Also the shower would go from cold to very hot a lot, presumably as soon as some one in the next chalet flushed. its the little things that make a good hotel great....
The rooms are fine and clean enough. The bathroom could do with some maintenance. Would be great if they had a kitchenette.
cheap and cheerful
It was just fine. It met our needs for 1 night. She let us check in early which was appreciated. Also the 11am check out is good
There wasn't much to like. The only reason why I, we stayed there was because I was late making a reservation. All other motel, motels booked out for that weekend. It was available for the dates that I required. I know why now. I, we were very disappointed with our room. I chair, so to eat or watch TV you had to sit on the bed. I feel this facility is a health and safety issue. Safety, the microwave on bench with the toaster and jug on top. I suppose we could have moved the microwave oven to the desk whilst using the toaster and boiling the jug. Secondly, having to wash dishes in the bathroom basin? No ventilation system in the bathroom, opening the window. No designated parking per room. Take pot luck. I was told to park in other block. Towels changed every day, hoping to have towel flannel and bath mat replaced. Oh and tea towel. Defiantly will not return or recommend to any one. Over priced for what you get.
Bathroom not very clean.Blind filthy.shower soaked most of bathroom floor
Went out of there way to a com mad ate my car.n staff friendly n awesome
On the day of check in we arrived in Hamilton about 11 and went shopping as you do. I got 2 emails asking me to call the hotel which I did and advised I am coming and wasn’t 100% sure when we would arrive but would be around 2-3pm. Around 1pm I get a phone call asking me what time exactly I would get there and that they needed my payment then... I hadn’t even arrived yet. Was a joke haven’t been harassed like that before by a hotel and I wasn’t late it was only 1pm. The room was in need of some desperate updating and some general maintenance. Not bad for the price but won’t be staying here again.
We stayed for 2 nights. Staff were friendly and room was cosy. Unfortunately, the room heater and lamp did not work, no flannels or telephone, had to put a towel by the balcony door to stop the draft and rain, curtains could not block out security light and very noisy (both nights). Pool area needed a good clean
No sky uncomfortable beds and no kitchenet to cook a light meal.
Unlike most motels the Grosvenor did provide shampoo. Reception was messy i.e. cluttered with unnecessary paraphernalia - it just didn't look professional.
Aside from the excessive unrealistic price due to the high demand during Field Days, the bed in the main bedroom was the worst I have ever slept in. It was far too soft and created massive roll together. My daughters in the other bedroom removed a cockroach during the night and we left another live cockroach under a glass in the dining room to prove there were cockroaches in the unit. Absolutely not happy with the stay and I will never stay there again.
Cleaning needs to be reviewed I was told that we had a spa bath and did not needs new mattress on double bed you seem to roll into the center of the bed very uncomfortable
Under cover office entrance, close to town, price.
Very clean tidy unit. Comfortable bed and large bathroom. Walking distance to town. Supermarket very close. Very quite. Recommend staying at Grosvenor Motor Inn.
Friendly, helpful staff; attractive room with comfortable bed; great location close to the main street.
Grosvenor
The room was nice and price cheap. Probably needs fixing up in some areas but didn’t expect more for the money
Disappointed
Had bad room odour
The room was very nice. The bathroom was very nice. The big thing that let the place down was the queen bed which was very uncomfortable and needs to be replaced. The other double bed was like a board to lie on. It would put me off from staying there again.
check in staff member had very limited english. Room was EXTREMELY dated and tired looking. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. Room smelt as though it had previously been a smoking room. Hairdryer was something from the 1950's . Spa bath looked unusable. Shower head was so low that hit you in the stomach. Room was situated right next to a primary school playing field so very noisy. Builders working on room beneath us from 8am.
The shower was so well pressured it would go under the door all over the lino floor. Bath Nat was drenched before I even got out of the shower also causing a slippery mess. No air ventilation in bathroom. Stains on carpets. Old curtains. Quite run down but the bed was really comfortable so had a good sleep and was quiet.
good value for money in good central location to town centre
Nice, clean, lovely staff. Very good value for money.
check in was easy and friendly. room had broken furniture lights that didnt work asspesstos cielings
Was cheap and as expected bed was to soft like sleeping in a hammock woke with a sore back
This motel charged me twice for my stay. If it weren't for me checking my bank statement some time later I would not have noticed. When I spoke to them they blamed expedia for it before refunding me. I know it isn't expedia as they did it to me again weeks later through wotif. How many people have they gotten away with double charging I'd hate to think. Also on 2 occasions my room has had the window latched broken off and unable to lock them. Hot water runs out. And on one occasion found a sex toy under the bed. I will never go back there again and I will warn others as well. This place is my only bad experience with a motel and it's happened twice there.
I paid for this motel online. When i checked in i was told I either need to give my credit card number in case of damages or $100 cash, refundable upon checkout and following a room inspection. I gave my card number. I realised the next day that they took $100 out of my account and didn't say a word. I rang them to demand they refund the amount and the lady said it should be in my account by Monday. Today being Thursday. Not good enough. I've stayed there another time and they took the amount of the room out of my account after expedia had already done so. I realised this days later and went and saw them. So they do this intentionally and often. I'm concerned as to the amount of people who may not check that they double dipped. Also hot water goes cold when bath is half full. And I've had 2 rooms where window latches are smashed off. Unlockable. And a lady's sex aid (toy) under the bed.
The hotel was fantastic, good pool, close to amenities. The double bed was way too hard & I went and bought a topper to make it a little softer for the next night, other than that, I would still stay here again.
It was a good place to stay for the night. Staff was friendly.
Very suitable for an event at the Stadium. Excellent as always. Very quiet
Room was very “tired”... stains on carpet and whole room in need of a makeover
Location great. Good shower and spa bath. Was woken by noisy guests at 3am having drinks and a wee party. Lasted until 4.35am
The nature of the motel means there can be some noise when people are leaving early.
We weren’t happy with the place and checked out of the motel the same day and stayed at another one. It’s run down and needs a make over.
It plain and simple all we needed. Could have done with some milk.
The Grosvenor met all of my expectations - the rooms were clean and comfortable for a weekend getaway. The staff were lovely and attentive. The bathrooms appeared recently renovated and the shower pressure was amazing. We will definitely be coming back for our next weekend in Hamilton. The only concern we had was the young children running around the car park, though this was out of the motel’s control
I would not advise anyone to stay there. The man with Triavgo had promise all these nice things about it but it was a rubbish dump! Iwould not put an animal in between those sheets. How can anyone be allowed to offer the public a service such as that at this motel! Come on Trivago serve us with honesty....... Have you not heard of the quote "CAVEAT EMPTOR"....... LET THE BUYER BE AWARE!
Week off hell and I paid for it!
It was not pleasant at all. 1, Restaurant was under construction, it was not on website that Restaurant is closed, that was the reason I booked this accomodation! However after long day I could use the spa bath it was falling apart, I took pictures, and there was mold in the room. The bed was not in healthy conditions I complained and they moved me the following day to a nother room. With no towels! Had to go back and ask... Eventually I got to shower, the water pressure changes from hot to cold... This week was not worth to pay $630 for 4 nights
Tired looking
Rooms are very tired and looks old and not very inviting
our room was a renovated one so a good standard with modern bathroom etc.
Condition of room was poor and the price price paid for this was very expensive
the property was in a very poor condition. there were cockroaches in the bathroom area, there were 2 beds in the room I stayed in, the larger one was not able to be slept on as it was so soft (from age). I slept in the single bed, the spa bath was from the 70's and was not at all inviting. work men were in the room replacing a fan whilst I was not in the room, they left dust and electrical cable ends on the top of the handbasin.
i loved the shower, and the room itself, theres nothing i didnt like, everything was excellent
Great for the rugby
Close to FMG stadium, clean and plenty of parking
Interior getting tired/worn out. Paint peeling off the ceiling (unit 5), mold on ceiling and shower curtain.
old fashioned outdated interior holes in walls lights not working very noisey at night drunks fighting pushing trolleys around till late .very poor
Everything waz satisfactory, book in room ,food.good location
The staff were lovely and the room was very comfortable would recommend this accommodation and very affordable
Handy location to city centre and shops(walking distance), plenty of parking, room was quiet, no road noise, great shower, bed good, staff organised for checkin and checkout, although they don't open the office until 7.30am.They have an indoor pool but I did not try it myself.
Friendly staff, easy parking, good distance to town.
Central to hamilton. Very run down though. Could use a refurb. Bed was comfy, linen clean. Building very tired.
The desk clerk and cleaning staff were helpful, considerate and professional. The room was ok, but the beds were very hard. The bathroom window latches need fixing and there were not enough electrical outlets (only one between the fridge and bed, none by the second bed). There was a domestic disturbance one night, and gang members next to me, which was disturbing.
Very dirty rooms. Stains on the bed coverings.room smelt mouldy. Couldn't shut windows so road noise all night.carpet was wet and stained. Over all a disgusting place to stay

We enjoyed our stay, the bed was comfortable with aircond topping it off for us.
