Staff was very attentive and friendly.
I would not classify this as a hotel at all—it’s more of a long-term stay option. There was no cleaning service provided during my stay, which was incredibly disappointing and inconvenient. Additionally, the staff at the reception were unprofessional and lacked basic courtesy. They didn’t seem willing to assist with even the simplest requests and created an unwelcoming atmosphere. If you’re looking for an actual hotel experience with proper services and hospitality, I would recommend looking elsewhere. This was far below expectations.
Loved it. Glad I picked this hotel. Has washer and dryer ✔️
Great place great value
Had a great time in Montreal
Nice stay, Gabriel at the front desk has been very helpful and patient as my reservation was not showing on their system through Expedia.
Great view of Montreal!
We felt like we were at home all the perks of staying at home. We had a balcony fridge freezer stove and laundry in suite! Made our stay very comfortable
Great room, awesome location, had a great time there.
great apartment, minor difficulties
Compact unit, but it had everything we needed and a nice view. Wonderful bed and very good bathroom and shower. Could have used more privacy in living room - we used a clip to attach the curtains together. Parking quite difficult because very cramped and full of turns. Stove/oven needed more instructions - we had to get a staff member to come and show us. Otherwise terrific.
Very nice property with helpful staff
Convenient location. Parking good. Pleasant staff, though minimal contact.
It was nice, quiet.
Device excellent, chambre propre et spacieuse. Beaucoup de commodité
I loved it.
First time staying in Griffintown
Nice hotel with spacious rooms -comfortable bed but lots of street noise. Reception staff were not the kindest I have ever encountered. I may give the hotel another try as I enjoyed the easy parking and the close proximity to everything but will ask for a room far from street.
Very nice accommodation. We will be back but there is not too many eating establishments nearby for the elderly who have mobile issues. It would be nice to have somewhere to eat inside the hotel.
Great hotel
Great neighborhood, clean hotel. Hot water, everything you need. Wish the tv was in the bedroom and wish there were shades you could close in the living room. No privacy while you watch tv or eat or do anything not in the bedroom. Otherwise perfect stay. Love the parking garage under the building.
The location is good though, the condos on the highway side are very noisy. The service is excellent as well as the cleanliness of the place. The interior of the condos is comfortable, the beds are great. All the kitchen accessories are there.
Stayed for 4 days and coulda stayed for 4 months!! It’s in a perfect location and so easy to gain access to everything. Building was quiet, safe and beautiful. Having designated parking made it a breeze also! Highly recommended! We will be back!
Clean hotel, walking distance to the Bell Centre, close to an off-leash dog park, nice lobby.
Great!
The property was nice and the room was very comfortable. I wish we had longer to stay there. It was just hard to get in and out of with a car because of the construction.
Great place to stay in MTL
Excellent stay with a gorgeous view of the city and a fantastic bar on the premises. Room was extremely well-appointed. Staff was helpful and friendly. We appreciated the 24-hour reception also, especially since we had an unexpectedly late arrival.
Great Stay!
Beautiful & comfortable stay. Definitely recommend
Very clean and ease of access. Good amneties and nearby accessible grocery stores
Excellent location and well appointed rooms. We rented a 2 bedroom suite for our family and it had everything we needed. Even the sofa bed in the room was comfortable! There was some early morning construction in the area however; that just comes with staying in a vibrant the City like Montreal! Would stay here again.
Excellent venue for the price.
Loved the hotel- just found the pricing of the rooms fluctuates a lot daily - which is difficult if you are trying to book one night at a time. Now that I know the hotel, I will book several nights ahead next trip.
Nice property, brand new, clean and elegant.
Great experience!
Initially I was impressed with the apartments. They are clean and spacious, but then quickly realized it was very uncomfortable. The bed is one of the most uncomfortable beds I've slept in, and the couch was also quite uncomfortable to hang out on. I also do not like that room service does not come up to give fresh towels and such. I would not stay here again.
Lovely hotel with great views and easy parking. Will definitely be back!
We enjoyed our stay! A couple of our friends who booked through the hotel website got upgraded. But all the rooms we saw were good! Comes with washer dryer too
Hotel was beautiful and our room extremely clean. Our room was on the 15th floor off of a very quiet hallway. Parking was easy and we loved that it was a secure lot. The location of the hotel was perfect for our stay and was an easy walk to several areas with great restaurants and amenities. We were very happy with our stay.
Sofa is overused, need replacement.
A lot of dog parks and trails in the area. Good restaurants around. Only one air con in the living room. It could be a little hot in the bedroom at night.
Great place to stay. A new favourite in Montreal.
Spacious living for a group of 5. Nice view from our corner apt. Would love to stay there again. Parking was a little pricey after tax, but that’s usually expected from hotels.
We had a great stay and loved how the hotel welcomed our dog and was accommodating with our questions and requests
Room was great. Lots of construction nearby though. Not many restaurants or shops. Easy walk to Bell centre
Awesome stay and perfect location!
There was no central AC for a 2 bedroom apt. The bedrooms were extremely hot because the 1 AC unit was in the living area. It may look new and shiny in the hotel pics but our apt. was dingey. Stains on the cloth sofa, marks on the walls or just pieces falling off. The master bathroom was so slow that water was still in the tub 10 minutes later. Asked to have it taken care of, all that was done was a little draino poured the drain. The area it is in like most of Montreal has a lot of construction going on so it was loud noises and cars all the time. Went in hoping for a nice stay but for the price we paid we could have stsyed at a full service hotel.
We ‘stumbled’ upon this neighbourhood about a month ago and absolutely love it! IMO the Griffintown Hotel was by far the better of the two hotels we have stayed at here and will definitely be the one we return to in future trips. Easy parking (loved how we had a ‘reserved’ spot and wasn’t first come- first serve. The room amenities were excellent and made full use of the small space with everything we needed for our two night stay. A small balcony provided a much desired outdoor space that many hotels are missing and, while the back of the hotel does face the canal and VIA rail and other train tracks, these city sounds were quiet through the night. Loved how the hotel is in the thick of a residential area- with easy access to walking paths, a number of restaurants and bakeries and not too far from Old Montreal and downtown - for those interested in venturing to those hot tourist spots. We’ll absolutely be coming back!!!
We are definitely coming back to this location. Parking was great. If you have a big car.. full suv or truck, this is perfect! The suite is clean. I do wish they had the same shade in the rooms also in the living room and dining. Ppl can see you from the outside bc the curtains are see through. They don’t have a gym but there is one down the street, which they give you a vulture. Convince store down the street.
No grocery store close , few restaurants
Great hotel !
We really enjoyed this place , So close to shopping , Dining and Grocery. The Staff was really pleasant and helpful. Would definitely recommend and will return 😊
Very clean building and staffs are very friendly. It’s close to everything and there is on-site parking. The only downside is the noise. Noise can come from the street (especially over the weekend) and your neighbors (who lives at the same hotel building).
Front desk staff and ability to get basic amenities like towels when needed was hit and miss
Great stay
Clean and accommodating front desk. Great value
The feelings of having your own condo like suite while you are travelling it’s the best, everything was very clean, the kitchen had all the essential you might need, there’s even a laundry on the unit. Check in and check out was very easy and our room was ready when we got there so we were able to check in earlier. Overall 5/5 if you are looking for a nice and comfortable place to stay while you explore the city
Great place! Clean, quiet, close to amenities. Modern unit with everything you need.
Spacious accommodations
The hotel was great! Very spacious accommodations with a nice kitchen. The laundry facilities needed some instructions as the washer didn’t function as expected and could be user error but with no instructions it was not clear. Overall the stay was great. Traffic and construction in Montreal seem to be a way of life so expect that in general which makes getting around a bit challenging with a vehicle for this hotel.
This is my second time staying at this property! Communication was terrible second time around causing me not to recommend this place. I had messaged front desk about a special occasion and if they could help me out with this request. They neglected my request. The Iron ruined two of our shirts (because it was gross and full of black specs). Next time I am in Montréal WE will no longer come to this property again!
I would go back in a second.
This was a gorgeous hotel, although it was on the more expensive side, I would definitely stay again. The staff was very helpful, and the bartender was a great employee. Our room was very spacious, and the balcony was a great addition. We were on a lower floor, but we surprisingly felt very safe and secluded. If you are looking for a luxury hotel for a decent price I would definitely recommend staying here.
The first lady who checked us in was absolutely lovely, on Friday night the front desk person was not very nice and very reluctant to give me clean towels. Housekeeping was not friendly at all. The rooms were nice but it was impossible to fold out the couch properly because of lack of space. we ended up having to rearrange the furniture just for use of the fold out couch. Overall for the price I paid I paid, it felt mediocre. Would maybe stay here again.
Very easy check-in; the room was clean and modern. Secure parking on-site for an additional (reasonable) cost.
This is our go-to spot to stay in Montreal. Great location with easy access to the highway, yet safe and quiet. Fancy and nice. The staff are so friendly and were very helpful understanding. We are so grateful and recommend this place to all our friends.
Beautiful place, modern and clean. Parking is quite expensive and the air conditioner is only in the living room, so the bedrooms can be warm. Overall definitely recommend though!
The best hotel stay I've ever had. The only negative thing was a lamp/outlet that did not work, but overall, this hotel is amazing and worth every penny.
I could not sleep for a week and they did not move me to help me just asked me to pay more $ instead.
A great place to stay in Griffintown!
We liked this rm with the kitchen, and the staff were friendly. But, we stayed there 10 days and only had our rm cleaned once! We weren't even offered an option to pay extra for rm cleaning. And, there was lots of construction rgt next door with workers starting at 6:30-7 am.
Front desk staff are very friendly and polite
Awesome property n staff n amenities
The area around the property too much construction. The actual apartment was excellent however limited towels and wash clothes
good
Satisfied
Better than average cleanliness
What an excellent Hotel. I always try to consider a few different places when booking a getaway, but Griffintown - you did it again! This was my second time at Griffintown and Mia (sorry if I misspelled your name) helped ensure my stay was even better this year by providing top-level hospitality. Griffintown Hotel is very well maintained and our Suite was stocked with just about everything we needed. It is also minutes from Costco, many upscale restaurants, and downtown. My entire family felt right at home. Bravo! I will be back again next year!
Had a wonderful week, the suite was perfect for our needs. Loved the location.
Perfect Location Very clean and modern I will return fir sure !
Our stay was beyond amazing here , I would highly recommend this place and would 11/10 stay here again when I visit Montreal. The only small concern was there was no one at the front desk after a certain time i believe and we had difficulty finding linen for the pull out bed after hours, not realizing someone wouldn’t be at the desk late hours. But we figured it out and made sure to get some the following morning when staff were on site. Cleanliness was on point. We had no complaints
had a pleasant stay
Always love my stay at Griffintown Hotel.
Quiet, Clean Place to Rest My Head at Night
The room had a great view, was spacious, well decorated, and nice. I didn’t use the kitchen or laundry machines in the room, but both were well set-up. Hotel was close to transportation, restaurants, and even a late night convenience store. I really enjoyed my stay and would stay at the hotel again, if ever back in Montreal.

Daniella, at checkout, was very friendly, helpful and kind. So, was housekeeping. The room had a great view, was spacious, well decorated, and nice. L'hotel est facile a trouvé, nous avions un appartement hôtel avec cuisine, laveuse sécheuse une grande douche et une lit et un canapé-lit. C'est calme et agréable. Nous avons passé 2 nuits sur place.
The property was fine, but the room needed a few small improvements. There are no safes in the room. There were tons of spiders and spider webs, clearly the room hadn’t been used in a while. A quick clean inside and on the patio would have gone a long way. Overall a fine experience. Great location, close enough to the city centre and old town.
Condo living in a hotel. Nice room, a little bit noisy if you're facing the street but it's Montreal city living. Close to everything.
Excellent experience - will certainly come back!
Let me preface by saying that the general manager was wonderful. She was responsive and empathetic to my concerns which I am not going to bring up because they were addressed properly. What I will write is about the property which Joanie has no control of. I booked through Expedia and they listed this property as a 4-star hotel; and I am going to rate this hotel as a 4-star hotel it was advertised. My experience here just fell completely flat compared to other 4-star hotels I have stayed at. This is really a 3-star hotel. The amount of money I paid was not worth it. Yes, I had a fantastic view of the skyline and it’s spacious and has laundry machines, but the rest was just average. The furnishings felt and looked like they got it at IKEA. Now there is nothing wrong with IKEA furnishings but if you claim to be a 4-star hotel, it should be better. Toiletries are cheap products. And I found the location a little bit too far from all the spots I wanted to see in Montreal. It’s far from any metro stations and sort of exhaustingly far for any leisurely sight-seeing walks. Really you’re paying for the view, the space, the laundry, and the full kitchen. But who needs those when you’re on vacation? Will I stay here the next time I visit Montreal? Currently, the answer is no.
Great location
Not worth it unless long stay
Not a terribly interesting area of Montreal
It's walkable to places. It's very clean. Our room was facing a busy road and we were frequently woken up by car and trucks going by.. Also, the blinds weren't very useful because of big gaps, so we were up with the sun. Maybe try to get a room not facing the road might help.
Fantastic, staying here again!
A very clean and beautiful hotel apartment.
Great service and great people
Nice deparments
Abanded front desk
Waited 20 minutes at front desk to check in at midnight Called the hotel number while waiting and. I one picked up Eventually started knocking on locked doors behind the check in counter and someone came out and helped me
Great apartment units with luxury appliances. Noisy neighborhood with construction and the LRT.
Very nice
Mixed feelings about this hotel and likely wouldn' stay again. Pros: Hotel was very clean and rooms as pictured. Lots of space. Front desk staff were mostly very friendly. We travelled with our dog and they were accommodating, and there's a nice little park opposite the hotel, ideal for walks and potty breaks, plus a large fenced in dog run if your dogs likes to play with others. Cons: Area around the hotel is VERY loud. It's described on Expedia as "soundproofed rooms" but this is absolutely false. Our room was on the 8th floor and east-facing, looking directly over a highway on/off ramp, and there is a new elevated train directly behind the hotel as well that runs from 530am-130am. We couldn't sleep at all from the noise between the two - it sounds like you're at an airport, and the cars / motorcycles are so loud. Additionally, its all self-service. There's no valet or service with your luggage when you check in - we had to circle until a space on the sidewalk was available in front of the hotel to unload the car. I then had to load all our luggage onto the cart, and struggle the heavy cart into the elevator with one hand, holding our dog's leash with the other, while the guy at the front desk scrolled on his phone three feet away. Car tip: do not take parking space 10-1 unless you have a compact car - its at an odd angle almost impossible to pull into safely. The woman parked next to us warned that she damaged her car badly in that spot previously.
Great spot !
Location is perfect for restaurants or a short walk. Great hotel with all you need.
Always stay here when in Montreal as it’s not quite the city centre but it’s so convenient being by the Lachine Canal so you can prettt much walk either downtown or into Vieux Montreal. Its location, convenience and value for money are brilliant.
Great stay! Wish the bar was open and the staff replenished products (towels/ shampoo/ garbages) throughout the stay. Otherwise amazing area, unique rooms and perfect view!
