Amazing Hotel with great staff

Great hotel

Cannot Recommend Enough- 10 stars!!!

Absolutely wonderful hotel.. if i could give it 10 stars i would. From the fantastic spacious room to the friendly and amazingly helpful staff this hotel has it all.. There is even an amazing roof top bar/restaurant (with pool-closed in winter whilst we were there) which has unbelievable food at very reasonable prices so much so we ate here 4 times out of our 5 days.. then theres the views over Athens and the Acropolis- unreal.. breakfast included was a bonus with beautiful fresh and plentiful range... its also in a great accessible location- 30 mins to the airport and 5 mins walk to the metro train station.. if your looking for an amazing hotel not in the main hustle and bustle of Athens (20 mins away) by great, cheap accessible trains €1.30 each way. This is worth a trip..

Staff was excellent, had an exceptionally nice room, food on the roof top was 7/10 but this was strictly based off their cheese board which was blocks of cheese would be better sliced and with more dips. The Meat board was a 10/10, cocktails were amazing and service was very good. The breakfast was 10/10 had every option and service was great. No complaints. AC was locked off to be in heating 21° only at time of visiting (December) however coming from a cold climate it can feel very warm so had to leave door open a little. Could be down to the system set up so might be restricted because of this. Area is accessible from Omonia and Monestreaki including other lines to station "Ano Patissa" which is a 2/3 min walk. Area is okay similar to London outskirts but definitely watch personal belongings around Athens as it is rough. Gifts on exit was a lovely touch, left there with high spirits, Hotel deserves 5* I'd recommend this hotel however Athens city is a one time stop for us and am very happy with our hotel decision. Definitely recommend visiting the islands after for an exotic and quieter experience.

Super hotel even better staff

Lovely clean hotel, rooms very stylish. Staff were extremely good, helpful and professional.

The hotel is beautiful, clean and well maintained. Fresh towels everyday. Breakfast was included and plentiful. The area is away from downtown Athens but near a metro like two city blocks that runs often. Nice quiet neighborhood feel, observed a lot of seniors in the area. Nice cafe places on every corner and a bakery that is open 24 hours on the corner from the hotel. Amazing views on the roof from the hotel. Very nice place.

Great staff and nice acc

The gym is nice. But the weights are way to light.

this time I needed to do some paperwork, and the lighting was too dim by the desk/table, Y suggest to add a lamp goose neck type. other than that was good

We did really like this hotel but the location was a bit far from the city center and all the touristy things. No good restaurants or shops nearby. The hotel was quite nice , clean, good employees and good food. Unfortunately on our last day while getting ready to go to airport our water suddenly turned off with no warning. Not a great start to our day and no help from staff regarding situation.

Stayed for 7 nights at Green Suites and i can honestly say that i can’t fault this hotel, rooms are very spacious and cleaned meticulously every day, breakfast was excellent and the staff were all very friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. The meals we had on the rooftop were all delicious and really generous portions. Metro station was very well situated, only a few minutes walk from the hotel, only €8 for a five day pass. We will definitely be staying here again, thank you to everyone at the hotel.

Great start to our Athens trip

We enjoyed our experience. The hotel is new, boutique and has a youthful energy to it. Staff were friendly and the location was convenient - near a station but not in the city centre.

I liked everything about the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. It was easy access to the train to get to the Acropolis.

Good hotel in a great location

The location of the hotel is ideal. Very close to the train and you can easily get a taxi to take you anywhere you want to go. The neighborhood is urban, vibrant, with restaurants, supermarkets, banks and everything else you might need. The hotel is very clean. Rooms are small - cramped for a couple and there is no wardrobe. The staff are very polite and helpful.

Hotel was lovely Staff was excellent

Love this hotel! The staff, the rooms, the beds, the services- all incredible. It was the perfect place for us to unwind on our last night in Athens before a long flight. The rooftop bar has breathtaking views of the entire city and a nice food menu too. Highly recommend getting a massage in the spa if you have the time! Just a great experience. Thanks

This is a little gem, not quite in the thick of Athens, Very close to a metro station, so you can get about very easy. From the moment we stepped into reception we received great customer service, all the staff were brilliant, friendly but not in your face, The rooms are clean and tidy and just right for a city break. The views are of the built up city area, but the balcony is a great size to sit and have a coffee. Breakfast is ok plenty of choice. The pool bar on the top floor is fabulous and you get a great view, they only have 6 sun loungers which you have to book, but we didn’t have any problems getting one, the pool is refreshing. Food is lovely up there too and all the staff are so nice. If we return to Athens we would definitely think about using this hotel as a base

Pool service not as good as the rest of the hotel

Amazing stay, beautiful hotel. Staff are very professional and very catering. Room is clean and has everything you need. We had a balcony and there were chairs and tables. The shower is really good, spacious and comfortable. Pretty much a 10 out of 10 but not quit there. The breakfast every morning is the same, which is a let down. gets boring. The bartender with black hair, she is amazing, a special shout out to her just don't remember her name but she really went out her way to get exactly what we wanted.

Very modern, smart looking hotel with great staff. Breakfast is a bit lacking for a 5* hotel so don't expect anything crazy. Also be aware they currently lock guests out of using A/C for cooling the room down. When questioned I was told this is because most of their guests prefer to have the heating on at this time of year, despite 26/27c days.

Green suites was a nice hotel, but definitely not 5 stars. The staff was kind and helpful, but I would give it more of a 3 and a half star rating based on American standards. It was a far walk to anything worth seeing and the restaurants in the area were mediocre. The hotels breakfast was okay and limited in selection. I would recommend staying closer to the middle or the city and if looking for a true 5 star experience staying in a hotel in kolanaki.

I love this property! Always immaculate. Staff is professional, courteous and helpful. Very quiet even though is in the middle of a city. Parking is great if you rent a car but train station is 6 minutes walk-away. I absolutely love their breakfast choices and vegan options. I would not dare to stay anywhere else when I go to Athens. I love GSB hotel. Thank you Mr. Andreas for making our stay a memorable one, personalizing the TV for us and getting us the room on the floor we wanted. Your attention to details is superb! It’s my second stay at this property because I would not dare to stay anywhere else. The staff was very accommodating with my requests, professional, friendly and helpful. I love the vegan breakfast options and regular menu for meat lovers is amazing as well. The property is immaculate, quiet and bed is comfortable. I had a wonderful sleep after partying all night. I appreciated the dark curtains to block the light as I slept all morning. I love GSB hotel. I will return in May. I highly recommend.

Mr. Andreis, thank you for making my stay so wonderful. You and your entire staff were excellent! Breakfast was excellent and thank you for having vegan and healthy options. All areas of the hotel were immaculately clean!!! The room was perfect! The mattress, pillows, robes, sheets, shower and toiletries were perfect. Thank for accommodating the times I requested to use the gym and sauna. Thank you for bringing my breakfast to my room. This property is 30 minutes away from the airport. A shuttle to and from the airport can be arranged for 45 euros each way, which it was totally worth it. The hotel is Conveniently located around shopping, restaurants and train station; however, inside the hotel is super quiet and peaceful. Thank you for having private parking for your guest! I will be returning in January. I would not dare to stay anywhere else. I loved this property! Thank you Green Suites Boutique staff!

Beautiful hotel great staff

Really friendly staff at the hotel. Everyone we came into contact with was more than helpful. Especially Andres at the reception and the cocktail/bar man. Breakfast was excellent and the pool and rooftop terrace was beautiful in the evening. Hotel is about 15 mins in metro from Monastiraki. Easy to get to from airport: metro 1 and change to metro 2 about 40 mins in total and hotel is a short walk about 8-10 mins from stop. Safe area; a few coffee shops and restaurants near but we travelled into Athens centre to spend the day and have dinner. Hotel was beautiful and clean. Will definitely stay again.

This hotel is advertised as 5 star but in no way is it. Its a 3 star hotel or even 2 Considering the location is in the ghetto. Would not recommend nor ever cone back to this property.

A very nice hotel. The location is fine - not very much nearby but plenty of options for public transport to the city. Rooms well decorated and very comfortable. Doors a little flimsy allowed the hotel’s music to be audible in the room. Only one, quite slow elevator. Good breakfast. Lovely, if a little pricey, rooftop bar.

It was extraordinary

Beautiful hotel. Very clean, friendly staff. Only concern we had, not the safest neighborhood to walk two girls alone. And little far from the center.

Peaceful and clean hotel

The staff upon arriving was very nice and helpful in getting us situated to the hotel and when breakfast opened and closed, where our room was located, and when the pool was available with bar service. The staff couldn’t have been nicer. The room was well spaced out with a comfortable bed, balcony, and bathroom. The room was quiet and very clean. If you want to stay off the beaten path a bit and not in the midst of everything this is your place. There are wonderful cafes and bakery's nearby and on the way to the metro. The hotel is a metro ride away from the Acropolis, about 15-20 minutes. You can walk it but it isn’t close.

We only stayed for one night but it was worth coming here for our stay.

Level of service is low and staff are slow

Okay so here is where I'm gonna list all the things the hotel needs to do to improve the stay for guests. The quality of the decor and amenities is very good it is mainly the service that let's them down, the majority of the staff (with 2 exceptions) act as though guests are an inconvenience and that they want to get rid of us. The rooms need - fire escape directions - Full length mirror - drying rack on balcony (even a small one would be good) - small dinning/working table for balcony (it's covid times and many business travellers try to avoid others as much as possible). General - improved drain cleaning (so shower doesn't flood) - better service (the more comfortable you make your guests the more they'll stay in the property and spend more money at the bar / restaurant. - keep coffee machine in restaurant on after 8pm - close the pool for swimming later - hand out 2 towels (1 to sit, 1 to dry) - if people reserve pool lounger and don't show it should become 1st come 1st serve. Suggestions Consider turning loungers around to face the bar and place the small table at the head, this way you'll get more sunbeds in and people more likely to engage with staff (ie buy more food & drinks). The in room phone is very bright at night and often lights up and/or flashes. You will find guests will unplug the phone often (which could lead to damage). Ohhh and put a physical lock or chain on the bedroom door. There's a lock on the bathroom door but not room door is weird.

Excellent in every way. New rooms with with ample space. Staff very helpful and kind. Will stay there again!
