It was an amazing experience, the hotel is very clean, breakfast is excellent, the pool and the beach is awesome. Definitely recommend.

We loved this hotel clean great service safe beautiful beachfront!! The rooftop restaurant is highly recommended amazing food and drinks with an outstanding view from the rooftop patio.

Great spot

Hotel is in a great locatio with a public access beach just below. Plenty of spaces round the pool although there was a lot of bed saving from early morning. Breakfast was good. Loved the burger resturant on the roof.

Older rooms, corridors to the room need more bright lighting its hard to walk to the room lighting too poor

We enjoyed our stay at Grecian sand hotel, staff are very friendly, location is great, breakfast buffet had a great variety of pastries, fresh juices, coffee, cheeses, breads and eggs. Highly recommend getting breakfast when you book your stay it’s worth it. Pool area is clean, they have a playground for the little ones. Beach is nice, rooms are clean and balconies are spacious. Bathrooms are clean. Would stay there again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Ayia Napa area.

Location was great - right by the beach with amazing views. The studio room with terrace was so comfortable with lovely sea views. Staff friendly and helpful - had breakfast included, which offered great variety. Highly recommended place to stay.

Very relaxing atmosphere. Hotel sits right above the beach but also has a huge swimming pool (and smaller indoor) with lots of lounges. The staff were extremely nice and good at their jobs. Loved the dining choices, especially the Roof Burger Bar rooftop restaurant with great food and sunset views.

We liked a very unique location - very close to the beach and nice layout with white sand and caves nearby. Beautiful view from the window, blue pristine water and nice atmosphere. Hotel serves very nice breakfast full of fresh variety fruits and vegetables. Stuff and management are extremely helpful, professional and friendly. Very nice place for family and couples vacation.

The hotel went above and beyond to make our honeymoon here special. We highly suggest this hotel, very clean, friendly staff, and great location.

Some fine tuning needed

Some fine tuning is needed in some places, mainly in the variety of the breakfast and lunch buffet, as well as in the rooms which feel a bit dated vs the common areas. The staff is helpful, polite and accommodating.

Excellent Stay

Just came back from a fantastic holiday to Ayia Napa and stayed at the stunning Grecian Sands Hotel. Oh wow, Grecian Sands is everything and we experienced first hand why this is one of the best rated hotels in Ayia Napa. I used to work in a hotel so I have an eye for excellent hospitality. It started at check in where Maya allocated us a room with the most breathtakingly view. We had many sunset photos from our balcony. For the first time I didn't request a change of room after check-in. It had everything we needed, two sinks in a large bathroom that had a bath 🛁 and separate walk-in shower. Fully stocked with all the amenities. We had complimentary bottle of water, apple and the tea and coffee. Someone comes around during the day to top up. There's a pool outdoors and one indoors, best gym not to mention the pièce de résistance, being on the beach. That's just perfect. Breakfast selection is superb. The staff so friendly particularly the female chef at the hot food section (chatted with her so much but didn't take her name). Stella in the main room was brilliant too. We went to the Roof Top restaurant for dinner on our last night, the view of the sunset was beautiful. The weather in Ayia Napa was scorching and there are many different places to cool down. The walk into town is only few minutes. Safe to walk at all times of the night and day. What an amazing stay we had at the Grecian Sands. This hotel is pristine, well managed and in an excellent location - away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Ayia Napa and yet close to all of the amenities needed for an excellent vacation. This is one of 3 hotels they have on the island with great dinning options to choose from. Their breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff was genuine & friendly, thank you for being such great hosts Christos, Georgina and Avraam the hotel manager. The sea is so beautiful with caves and great snorkeling. We come from the US and the travel time can be lengthy, but the trip was well worth the time. We highly recommend it and we will definitely visit again!!

I’m in love of the place.

On the beach, friendly and attentive staff, very clean, in a relatively quiet area but still only a 10 - 15 min walk of the main Ayia Napa center.

It was in a great location and simply wonderful. Staff was friendly and prices reasonable.

Relaxing week in the sun

From check-in to check-out, nothing but warmth and friendliness from all staff I encountered. The hotel building itself and bedroom were kept in excellent condition. Pool, sun loungers etc were clean and in good working order, no mean feat itself I guess after a packed summer. Breakfast on the patio and the Dinner buffet offered plentiful choice. I enjoyed the Golden Sands hotel location as it is slightly away from the hustle and bustle of Ayai Napa, yet easily walkable to.

This is a great hotel (our 3rd visit). Location is perfect above a clean beach (dozen or so steps down). It’s about 15 mins walk into the town centre, which we like, as this part of Ayia Napa feels less crowded. It’s a perfect place to relax. Hotel rooms are clean, the staff are great, very friendly and helpful. Rooftop burger bar bar is amazing. Looking forward to visiting again in future.

I have been staying in Grecian Sands for 8 nights and it was a splendid experience! The most amazing part is the kindness and care of the staff, all the people have been selected and trained properly for a luxurious stay of the customer. The hotel is very clean and the organisation is very good. One thing I would like to mention is that I would like more vegan options in the menus. As we don't eat meat, dairy and eggs, there was not a lot we could enjoy, considering everhthing looked great but with animal products. When vegans have such a long stay, we need some diversity as well (there is so much rice and steamed vegetables we can eat :D). The breakfast was fine, full of fresh fruit, beans and mushrooms. For the rest I have nothing to add, as it was lovely and I will come back!

Nice hotel and helpful staff

We stayed here on our 35 anniversary and had a very nice time. The hotel is well situated and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They helped us with restaurant reservations and with getting local tours. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Everything Ambiance, Cleanliness, Staff, Food, Service, LOCATION

We loved the property and our stay. We went in the low season so it was very calm and pleasant. it's situated above a lovely beach with beautiful rocks and caves. The food and service was excellent. I only have one suggestion: we specifically only looked at hotels with indoor pools since it was going to be a bit cold. However, the indoor pool was so cold! It should be heated when its not summer outside!! That would have made it more pleasant.

Nice hotel with great staff who could not do enough for you,lovely bedroom overlooking the sea,with excellent whisper quite aircon. on a lovely beach with golden sands. A 15 min walk along beach to harbour,or a bus just down from the hotel in to the centre of Ayia Napa Good breakfast with a cook making omelette etc,and a good selection at the buffet dinner.

Overall good stay

Good overall stay and definitely one of the best hotels in the area. Biggest highlight was the location on the beach - truly one of the best in Ayia Napa. Improvements could be made in the service and overall condition of the hotel - it could do with a bit of a renovation but we still had a comfortable stay. Service of the staff was mixed, some of them were very friendly and welcoming, others were so so.

The location of hotel is excellent,beautiful beach area . The outdoor hotel grounds are beautiful as well as lobby and bar area. Chris in the indoor bar area was wonderful with excellent service skills. Ioannis in breakfast area has wonderful personality and made delicious breakfast . The lobby receptionist (unfortunately I can't recall her name,but it starts with a K)was very nice the first day we got there. The bell boy Louis ,I think is his name,he provided us with excellent service. Unfortunatley most of the rest of the hotel staff need major training in providing a good service.I should not have to wait 5 minutes to get acknowledged and helped by the outdoor bar/grill restaurant staff to order some drinks when there are at least 4 or 5 staff members standing there and chatting with eachother. We always felt like it was a burden to them when we had to order .The common answer we got from the staff was pretty much always "I don't know" no matter what the question was. The rooms are in need of major updating,the walls are stained and dirty,the bathroom door was so old and nasty looking. The first day we got there the bathroom sink had hair in it as well as the bed head frame and the pillows and sheets,the bed skirt had a brown stain on it. The shower glass doors had streaks of dirt on them where they just smeared in the dirt,instead of actually cleaning them. Please train your staff in how to clean.

Better than I expected. Sea side room has a great view to see the beautiful beach.

Holiday

We decided to stay at Grecian sands for a quick trip to Ayia Napa. It was great because the hotel is away from the main downtown area, but a bit too far to walk (a car or taxi service is definitely needed). The rooms could use some upkeep, but overall the views from the hotel make up for it. The only downside is not being directly on the water for the beach, but it is a short walk down some stairs.

Excellent Hot

Wonderful stay at the Grecian Sands hotel. The hotel was beautiful and rooms, restaurants and bar areas were clean, modern and had a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was lovely and staff were second to none. The hotel surroundings were incredible with beautiful sea view and private beach.

Beautiful property with gorgeous views and beach. The room was small and the shower door is half open with the shower head not flexible. But this is probably normal there. It was just difficult to keep the water from getting the floor very wet. The staff was lovely and helpful!

nice basic hotel

the hotel is in a very good area in agia napa if you want to be there but now with the noise, staff at the reception don't have information for tourist places, hospitals, etc and they don't have a concierge and they don't do a big effort to solve your problem, when there is wind this hotel will be very windy the wind comes in a way that is direct to the hotel, for us was cold and with the wind we can feel colder , we have a baby and they never told us they have a park that it was hidden in a place, i only realized because i was searching in its web page and i saw the picture, breakfast is ok , they don't change the menu so if you are going to be many days you will be bored of it , we ate only once in the restaurant cafe , food was average and the service not very good at this moment that was not really a proper eating time was around 4 pm, we didn't choose half board and was good because we can enjoy other places where my son can play and can be welcomed, they have indoor pool but not temperature control so it was cold also even thou was indoor

Ants everywhere and uncomfortable beds but other than that it was good.

We stayed for a couple of nights in August 15. Excellent location and quality service throughout. Breakfast was amazing, the pool was huge and the beach front was superb. Love it.

Nice hotel, close to the beach. Staff good overall

Breakfast excellent, pool ok, Beach access lovely. Very clean hotel, staff overall very nice , willing to help, etc. Rom good, although not much choice of channels on TV. Entertainment ok, gym rubbish, food nice. Portions good and tasty. Close enough to the main action in town, but very quiet where it is.

THEY SHIULD HAVE BETTER BLACK OUTS FOR SLEEP

We had requested a king size but ended up with 2 twins. Small rooms especially that we had requested a crib! Great friendly staff and an extremely nice setup on the shore!

Attended with a large group for a wedding held in the hotel. Staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Rooms are clean and functional if not luxurious. Rooms cleaned daily and air conditioned. Food was excellent and plentiful, pool warm and clean. Enough su beds and great pool side service. Beach although very close has quite steep steps to reach. I am looking forward to returning as atmosphere was so welcoming

Nice Hotel looking over Limanaki Beach. Had a very nice room with a big balcony with sea view. Good walking distance to Ayia Napa. Breakfast was good, staff there could've been a bit more motivated though. Overall i would recommend the hotel!

Great hotel

Went for a wedding and only stayed 1 night. The staff were helpful and hotel clean and modern with free parking. It has a small private beach and a great, large pool. Only complaints are that the breakfast buffet was relatively limited - bacon and eggs and yogurt but nothing fancy. Also the bar closes at 1am which could have been later. It;s a 10-15 min walk into the main town centre.Recommended overall.

Luxury Pad

Great hotel, high quality and very comfortable room. Staff were fantastic and sorted out lots of tricky issues for us. Hotel is far enough out of Aiya Napa to avoid the clubbers, but close enough for short trips. Restaurants were good, but not great,better options outside the hotel.

We had fun. It was very relaxing, not too crowded and we were upgraded to a sea view room instead of a partial sea view. Very Friendly staff. Would recommend it to friends.

Great Location, Nice Hotel

We stayed for 5 nights for a short trip over Eid break, location of the hotel was really good positioned directly above the beach and offering nice views. Pool was very nice and the food at the restaurant was good also. Breakfast was average. Rooms are Ok, basic and in need of a revamp but are fine, Gym is pretty shocking, machines look like something from the 1960s but in general a really nice stay and for Cyprus a good hotel, location is what this hotel is all about and it made us happy and made for a nice trip.

The hotel location in ayia napa is wonderful close to every things, there is a supermarket just a few walk up from the hotel 100m, the bus station too close, the hotel have wonderful pool, beach view, sand beach too. The reception is prefect and free wifi available, all hotel staff are amazing and very helpful, the breakfast is delicious and wawo, the Resturant provide delicious food too, and the food prices are acceptable, there is free towel for the guests in the swimming pool all the day, the hotel provide professional massage too, health club, spa. The room is very clean and very big with beautiful view In general it's one of the most amazing hotel I have ever visited and I will come back again and most recommended for every body.

An alright hotel

I expected this hotel to be much better from what it was based on what other people said here. However, the hotel was noisy (overbooked and many people were banging their doors). The room's furniture was outdated (and old), the installed curtains were too light (no blackouts) and this did not allow us to sleep properly. Internet connection is too slow (there was almost no internet at the hotel). Another bad thing I did not like about this hotel is that they did not have any animation team or guidance or activities what so ever.

Good location for a beach holiday

Stayed in Ayia Napa recently, in this lovely beach side hotel. Excellent location away from the centre, as I wanted a quieter beach holiday than a party one. Staff were very friendly, and facilities generally in good nick although some room furniture could be updated. Drinks were slightly more expensive at the hotel, but there was a restaurant on the beach close by. Overall, I would recommend it for its location on the beach front and friendly staff.
