Staff was exceptional! Great laundry service. Restaurant had delicious fpod at a great price. Easy to see The Pyramids. Not sure I would navigate the streets on my own. We had a tour set-up. Sime construction on hotel in my hallway.
It was a wonderful view, the staff was very polite, specially “Santiago”, who spoke English, Spanish and French, he was very nice. Our only observation is that WiFi can be improved, it didn’t work in our room. Everything was very clean and food delicious.
The property is nice but the neighborhood was terrible
Absolutely loved this hotel. The staff were so incredibly nice and helpful! Highly recommend, especially the rooms overlooking the pyramids!
Amazing views of the pyramids! I was flabbergasted! Rooftop restaurant was A-1. Front row seats to the Sound and Light show. Room was pretty decent and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful!
معاملة ممتازة و الاستاذ أحمد في الاستقبال و خدمات الغرف و كله بكله ممتاز المشهد رايع مقابل الاهرامات اقامة ممتازة
Hotel is amazing Staff are wonderful You just need to get through the front door.
This property was conveniently located near the Pyramid of Giza. The dining at the hotel was great and the staff were kind. It was a little noisy at night as we could’ve heard the people on the street.
A great place to stay while visiting the pyramids where evening light shows are easily observed while having dinner. The hotel is small boutique type and well appointed. Recommended
The property was new and very clean. The staff was very helpful and the food was pleasant
Excellent hotel. Aesthetically beautiful and clean, with very friendly and helpful staff.
This is a fantastic hotel. Great position right across from the entrance to the Pyramids. Great view of the Sphinx and Pyramids from the rooms and restaurants! Highly recommend,
We had a great stay! Staff are awesome and friendly! Room view was amazing. We will come bavk again.
If you’re looking for a front row seat to the pyramids, this is it! The decor of the hotel is like a museum, you’ll be surrounded by Pharoes and walls in hieroglyphics. You’ll be greeted by the friendliest staff! Manaa at the front desk was super helpful, he went above and beyond to make my stay perfect! And Omar at the rooftop restaurant had a smile that will light up anyone’s day. Make sure you ask for them! Comfy, clean rooms, hot (very hot) water, a/c, complimentary water, and a breakfast buffet with so many options! I loved staying here so much that I booked an extra night.
Very welcoming and helpful staff, especially Manaa, who kidly gave us a temporary room until our was ready (we arrived very early in the morning). He also organised some excellent trips. We were fortunate to have an amazing Egyptologist as our guide, who reads hieroglyphics and has worked on archeological digs. Her name is Sherine and she was the most informative guide we have ever had, I thoroughly recommend you ask for her. Many thanks also to our excellent driver Mohammad, who has lived in Giza all his life and knows the best routes and places to go (and was also friendly and kind) The hotel itself is quirky, and we ate breakfast on the roof terrace, staring straight ahead at the pyramids and Sphinx. It was utterly stunning! Our bedroom also had a balcony from which we could watch the Sound and Light Show. The bed was comfortable, there was a small fridge with water and everything was clean. It is a little noisy outside the front of the hotel in the evening but we slept well anyway. We will definitely be returning next time we are in Giza.
Nice simple hotel, but what a view!
Very good staff and great service. Room is small for a family. However, excellent view to the Giza pyramids. Nice food in roof top 7000.
Staff were very obliging abd helpful with any of our requests
If you want to stay close to the pyramids, this is the right place! The staff go out of their way to make your stay pleasant, the food is delicious, the rooms are nice, and the entrance to the pyramid complex is a few minutes away. Amazing!
We had requested a room with a view of the pyramids and we were not disappointed. Amazing view and room. It was spacious and very clean. The hotel staff were very polite and accommodating. A great stay.
The hotel is basic but rooms, bathrooms and bed linen are clean. Staff is friendly and helpful especially Alibaba the driver went above and beyond to help us during our visit. He speaks better English than all reception staff together. He is an asset to the hotel. Area around the hotel is noisy and busy but this is expected as hotel is right in front of pyramids of Giza.
Outstanding Stay
We had a wonderful time staying at the Great Pyramid Inn. The free shuttle service from the airport to the hotel (must book at least two nights) was great and minimized the stress of landing in Cairo late at night and having to travel about an hour away to Giza. Our room was spacious, clean, and you cannot beat the view. The hotel's rooftop view is outstanding as well. It's otherworldly to eat while overlooking the pyramids (especially at night) while a stone's throw from the Sphinx. The free breakfast spread is substantial and varied. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only negative - and it's not the hotel's fault - was the service (glacial) and food (overpriced and cold) at the Rooftop 7000 Restaurant. I highly recommend the Great Pyramid Inn.
Every thing was perfect 👍
Giza
Great staff great views not much I need I Giza
Warm staff, good breakfast, clean rooms with plenty of water bottles. WiFi was a little sporadic but overall a cute hotel at a good price.
Viewwwwwwwww We arrived at night so We have the chance to see the light show the hotel is in front of it
The hotel was fabulous. Our room was directly in front of the pyramids. Hotel staff are fabulous and will do everything to make you happy. The roof top restaurant has good food at fair prices. Plus your view is the pyramids and the sphinx.
I experienced several inconveniences during my stay at hotel. The breakfast menu was too limited and the service was not satisfactory. During the two days I stayed construction was underway on the floor next door, which caused a lot on noise and prevented me from getting a proper rest. Although I changed the room to anther place after requesting, the room was not properly cleaned and the shower head was broken, making it inconvenient to shower
We LOVED this hotel. It had a wonderful view of the pyramids from the balcony at day and night. The breakfast was nice and so was dinner. The staff was absolutely fantastic and our driver was so friendly. We really enjoyed our stay here. The only bad thing I could think of was the wifi was not very good in the room, other than that 10/10
The property was fine but we made the mistake of booking one of their day tours of the pyramids and the Sphinx; it turned out to be very expensive and not what we thought it was going to be. The roof terrace is lovely and the staff are all super friendly but it was very expensive compared to any where else we had eaten in Egypt.
This place was amazing! Beautiful, location is perfect, you can’t beat the view of Piramids in front of you
Excellent service and staff
We loved the friendliness of all the staff we came in contact with (special thank you to Meedoo, the Egyptian Vin Diesel; Manaa; Houssam; Aladean; Ali; Ahmed, Santa Lana🎶). The hotel's decor is perfect. Walking down the halls, we felt like we were in an Egyptian temple.... so cool! The lobby smells wonderful! The food is great! The view (which is the main reason we booked the hotel) is out of this world amazing! We recommend this hotel to everyone! Meedoo was waiting for us at the airport upon arrival so we didn't have to haggle with any cab drivers, Manaa & Houssam booked our tour of the pyramids with (very knowledgeable) Sam, a local tour guide! Ahmed was our driver on the day we visited the pyramids. He is such a nice man! Aladean planned our excursion to Luxor, which was an amazing experience. Ali was our driver on a shopping day. He's such a funny & friendly guy. He had the pleasure of growing up right in Giza plateau! I can go on and on about our wonderful experience at this hotel.... all good things to say!
Nice hotel
The view from the top roof restaurant was awesome. The only downside is that WiFi was unstable. Staff and service were excellent.
The service here was excellent! The rooftop views are spectacular!. I had a few issues with my bathroom but matters were quickly resolved. I felt safe and welcomed by the team. I would highly recommend for solo travelers.
Great stat lovely staff happy to help the roof top bar is the best view of the pyramids hands down only had a standard room as that’s all that was left but try and book the Jacuzzi room if it’s available
Hotel is beautiful, it has a beautiful view, and the restruant food is amazing, try the watermelon mint drink!
It was a great place to stay. The view of the Pyramids from the Junior Suite was amazing. It was hard to walk around the streets outside the hotel because everyone and their cat tries to sell you stuff and they follow you down the street. Overall quite enjoyable.
We had a twin share room like a tomb. No windows and air con that needed a good clean. Sheets were really rough. Upstairs restaurant had a magnificent view of pyramids and food basic international but no local flavours. Service was good. If you plan to stay here book room with window and view.
My 3/5 rating is strictly for the view! The rooftop restaurant that i had reservations at made me and my friends move from a table stating someone else had reservations at that particular table! I told him i didn’t realize you could reserve a certain table… he had no response! We moved to a different table and as long as we sat there we never saw anyone at that table! The overnight staff is very rude! We struggled with our bags in the morning while he sat and watched and the other guy was asleep in a chair! If it wasn’t for the. Ratify view from the room I’d probably rate this hotel a 1/5! We stayed at 4 different hotels in Egypt and the customer service at this one was the ABSOLUTE WORST!
Great time great views at top floor great staff
The check-in was smooth, the staff wad very pleasant and friendly. You are literally across the street from the pyramids area’s exit so after you finish your tour you will head back in not time. There was some availability and we got upgraded to a pyramids view, which was AMAZING to be in bed viewing the 3 pyramids all night. Unfortunately the sound and light show wasn’t available in the night we stayed but if you plan the dates accordingly you can watch it from the comfort of your patio. Breakfast was nice and the variety was decent. Summary is if you are visiting and want something reasonable with unmatched view, this is the place to stay.
Worth it for the views
Excellent view from my room and roof top restaurant, and right across the street from Pyramid Light and Sound show. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. The room is a great value for the cost, including airport pickup which is 1 hour away. Return was modest cost. They offered too at a reasonable cost and great value a private driver and also a second person as guide to visit the Pyramid grounds and the museum downtown. The all day experience because of these two people made the day way more enjoyable and stress free. I highly recommend doing the same - it is worth it. I would give the hotel 4*, but the staff and service 5*.
We have had a fantastic experience at this hotel, the Roof Top Terrace has simply the greatest views of the Pyramids, the food and drinks at the Rooftop Restaurant were amazing. My wife had a heavy fall at Saqqara, hurting her knee and back, that evening the hotel were so helpful, sourcing pain relief etc from local Pharmacy and allowing us a late check out so my wife could rest in comfort before our flight back to the UK. Highly recommended 5*****
The staff are just lovely. Rooftop restaurant experience is amazing!
Views Were amazing! Rooftop Restaurant was so good! Staff were great! There was construction on our floor & the bathroom door didn’t close but other than that. It was perfect
Wonderful view; friendly and helpful people.
Really friendly & helpful staff, both on reception and in the restaurant. My room (303) was grand - basic, comfortable and very clean, and the balcony had a fantastic view. To get that wonderful view of the Pyramids, the room faces due west & the balcony gets very hot in the afternoon. So enjoy the view in the morning, and then of the sunset, but don't plan to sit there all afternoon!
Mohamed the driver made the trip extra great, he’s a good driver and person.
Excellent location for pyramids and great amazing view from restaurant, food also excellent, only Wi-Fi connection not very good. Thank you for nice stay and service.
Such a great little find, with probably the best view in Giza. I could have spent the whole time sat up at the rooftop restaurant watching the pyramids and sphinx.
The staff were very friendly, helpful, and professional. I enjoyed my stay and the view of pyramids from the rooftop restaurant.
Overall, the property was good and was very convenient location to the pyramids. I stayed at this hotel twice during my stay in Egypt. I stayed for three days, then took a two day tour to White Desert, and then returned for one more night. The room I had for my first three days was older and the bathroom door didn’t even completely shut. The safe is just sitting loosely in a cabinet - not even bolted down. It does not do any good to have a safe in a hotel room that someone could just pick up and walk away with. The seal on the shower door was bad, and it would leak water bad onto the floor. When checking in for the final night after the desert tour, I was checking in around 2:30pm. We were told that we had to wait for a room to be finished being cleaned. Keep in mind that check in time is 12pm….so I was shocked that we couldn’t just immediately go to our room. We were arriving 2.5 hours AFTER check in, so I was surprised by that. We were offered welcome drinks, and when we got them, we received the wrong drinks. After attempting to correct it, we got the wrong drinks again. We were not offered welcome drinks upon our arrival the first time. The staff was nice and respectful, but there seemed to be a lack of attention to detail. The WiFi connection was quite bad, so don’t count on a good internet connection during your stay. Overall, not a bad stay. However, if you choose to book this hotel, keep in mind that you do so knowing that you will have inconveniences.
Amazing view night and day of the pyramids site in Giza and great service. They had an electricity issue in the building during our stay but it doesn’t affect us that much. It is located near the entrance close to the sphinx.
I loved my time at the Great Pyramid Inn. As a solo traveler, safety is important. I had no worries. They treated me life a Queen. Thank you all very much! Get the Pyramid view room. It's so worth the experience!
Great staff!
The hotel is in a renovation process, our room was recently renowed and was perfect. The view of the pyramids is breathtaking. Amazing staff, always at your service and very nice. Great food. Very good cost/benefit.
Offers great views of the pyramids. The restaurant offers great food and the staff are great. Highly recommend this hotel.
The view of the pyramid is just amazing! Too bad the location is dirty, noisy, even at night.
Property has an amazing view of the pyramids, enjoy a drink or meal while taking in the stunning view! Staff were very helpful.
Near to pyramids
My stay with you was excellent, I would recommend to anyone travelling to Cairo. Everything was great, the staff was great however only when you're in the hotel or the roof top space you would feel safe. It's like your transported to a different world.
Property is very close to the pyramids and the roof top dining is cross from the pyramids. Fantastic views
Good for a short stay
Hotel was fine and clean. The rooftop with view of the pyramid was fantastic and the breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the was a lot of construction going on so it was so loud in the hotel room and difficult to relax with all the noise. AC was available but room felt very stuffy.
The electricity stopped, the stuff did not solve the network problem for hours, water pouring from the machine of the shower room. The place is excellent, but the else is terrible.
Staff was friendly and accommodating (provided bottled water/towels any time we asked). Breakfast and staff on rooftop restaurant was pretty good. We stayed for five nights. We never received a ride from the airport to the hotel as advertised. We ended up hiring a van at the airport. We lost power and water pressure for a couple of hours at a time 4 out of 5 days we were there, believe that is an issue in that local area out of their control. Friends who stayed in other well-to-do areas like Zemelak did not have power outages. Staff can arrange complete tours for most POI as well as rides to/from. We took a buggy to pyramids tour it was decent. Note cost is 2-4X cost that one would pay if they did on their own. Prearranged tours save hassle of doing it on own and relative cost after conversion is not too bad. Rooms were clean. Rooms have tiny windows that look into an alley. We used Uber for most of our rides to POIs. We did have one instance where our Uber car overheated on a freeway and we had to cross the freeway to a less busy road to find another Uber. Inn had nothing to do with Uber that was our choice. Perhaps their rides and vehicles are in better condition. Do not know for sure. They have a laundry service however it did not work for us due to power outage that lead to breakdown of their washing machine. Not staff kept taking laundry orders despite knowing their washer was broken. Promising people laundry would be done in 24.
Good enough
Lovely three star property directly across the entrance to the Giza plateau. The lack of a door handle/lock on your side of the shower was Lovely three star property directly across the entrance to the Giza plateau. The lack of a door handle on the bathroom door was odd. It couldn’t be closed properly to toilet Good place to stay for a single night
View of the pyramids and Sphinx from our room was surreal. Staff very helpful. Breakfast excellent with lots of variety, Egyptian and international choices. Rooftop restaurant wonderful view, good menu.
Great Staff and Great Views.
Great service
Too close to pyramids and easily to visit most important areas
Great stay for me and my buddy. Very nice staff along with a great restaurant on the roof. Breakfast was complimentary and often water bottles too. No complaints! Right outside the Pyramids of Giza too.
4stars
Everything was great we really enjoyed our stay there. There was some issues with the bathroom sink and shower but wasn’t major. If the WiFi was working it would get a 5 star
Staff members were extremely friendly and accommodating. Also all tours and activities more and beyond.
Comfortable hotel adjacent to the pyramids
We really enjoyed our stay. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Our room overlooked the Great Pyramid, the Sphinx, and several other pyramids. The food, served in the rooftop restaurant, was quite good and plentiful. The hotel arranged for private tours that helped us make the most of a short stay. Highly recommended. It's not a luxury hotel, but it felt very comfortable, and it was thrilling to be so close to ancient monuments.
It was right across from the pyramids. The royal suite had a wonderful balcony. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was very kind and helpful. I felt safe. Power outages are frequent in Egypt that was a bummer lasted several hours. This isn’t the hotels fault just the infrastructure. The pyramids don’t do the light show sun-wed so we didn’t get to see that.
The hotel is great. If you don’t want to tip, don’t let anyone take your luggage to your room. The restaurant on the rooftop is nice. The breakfast buffet and view is amazing. The hotel has someone can do tour plans. Always negotiate first, and make sure all price is final price. Hope everyone has a good trip~
Vale sim a pena

Great!
When my husband and I arrived at the hotel, around 1pm, the room wasn’t ready. We needed to leave the hotel around midnight to go to the airport and we were recommended the hotel car service. We were told it would be safer than uber and that the uber driver drove recklessly. The hotel charged us $30 cash. After dinner, my husband and I went to the reception to confirm that the car would be there at midnight as planned earlier that day. At midnight, we went to the reception and no car for us. When we asked where the car was, I understood that the car was not coming… 15min later the car was not there, and I asked again and was told, it’s ok, no need to hurry, take your time, be patient, there is no rush! Then, the receptionist talked to another guy at the front desk who asked my husband and I to go outside and get in his car. He started driving and around the corner he told us that it would be someone else driving us to the airport in that same car we were in, and that we should be happy we have a car to take us to the airport. We waited in a random street for another 10min for that driver to show up. The way the driver drove was horrible, and I feared for my life. He drove so recklessly that I had to close my eyes so many times. The service was horrible. We paid $30 cash for a car that never came, to hop in a random car and be driven recklessly to the airport by a random driver that we had to wait for. Do yourself a favor, save your money and get an uber.
The hotel is clean and beautiful views to the pyramids and the people there are amazing , specially Mana he’s very friendly , totally recommended 10/10
Excellent service and amazing view of the Pyramids! They're just across the street.
Great services throughout our stay
The staff takes care of every need you have. If you make plans, they know how to shape the outcome. Also, the decorations inside are artistic and awesome. You can see a clear view of the pyramids from the rooftop. The staff inside the restaurant were so courteous; my WiFi stopped working and a kind staff literally gave me hotspot and left his phone on our table. I wish we stayed longer, but this trip was a detour for us with a long transit. When we come back to Egypt, God Willing, this will be a top choice.
They should do more improvement around the area historical places they are very poor service in that area Very dairy a lot of dogs wondering 24/7
The perfect place to stay. Woke up each day to a view of the pyramids
Great view of Pyramids
This is the most humble and great service from any service team anywhere. The staff were amazing and they made the stay feel like home.
Thanks for everything guys 😇
The hotel is centrally located in Giza right by the entrance to the pyramids and sphinx. The hotel and rooms and clean and staff is friendly. The rooftop restaurant has a great unobstructed view of the pyramids and sphinx.
Great Customer service! Staff was friendly and professional!
The staff is what makes this spot great. They go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. The area is not the greatest but never felt unsafe.
This hotel is very clean and nice but in a depressed economic area--Giza. In the U.S.this is probably like our Comfort Inn or Motel 6 properties except with a million dollar view of the pyramids from rooms and rooftop restaurant. The staff was very helpful. They arranged transport from/to airport. Our driver (Alibaba), gave us tremendous insights (above and beyond) on our way to airport. We arranged a tour through the hotel of the new Grand Egyptian Museum and old Egyptian Museum in Cairo. The guide they sent was university trained and she was excellent. This hotel was an excellent value (about $125 including tax per night for 3 nights). Breakfast was included and was very good but not great in terms of variety. We ate dinner there twice and it was a good value for the money and more food than we needed-with a million dollar view during the meal. Negatives were these-small leak under sink that I just put one of our towels down during the stay and water would spray out of the shower on to the tile needing other towels to wipe it up. Elevator went out of service our last day. If you have mobility issues then it might be difficult to get to the restaurant on the roof as the elevator only goes to the 4th floor and then you must walk up an additional set of stairs to the rooftop.
Not bad
Not bad However It is necessary to enhance their service especially shuttle service.
Spectacular view from the rooftop restaurant and also from our room with the property set due east of the Great Sphinx and pyramid of Khafre (the one with the remaining limestone top). The hotel front door is 20 meters from the entrance to the evening light and sound show (that you can definitely watch from the rooftop) such that you are absolutely in the heart of the old neighborhood of camels, donkey carts and pyramid complex visitors. Food and restaurant service exceeded expectations; nice Egyptian mixed grill and collection of smoothies. Completely suitable and helpful-to-have breakfast at the same open air rooftop restaurant.
With a spectacular view
Restaurant great. Location, staff and view great. Airport pick up the best.
Friendly staff and service!

Overall I loved my stay however my door did not lock nor was it fixed in time during my staff which made me cautious as a solo female traveller. Great views, amazing coffee and felt comfortable in the area!
