"The place is excellent but not the accomodation"
I paid for two rooms in 1 unit but only 1 room given. I was required to give 5k as security deposit refundable upon check out but it was promised to be transfered to my account but until now not transfered. Several txt and emails sent but no reply. Stressful!
Stay away from this host: Bad Mgmnt, Bad Unit
Stayed at the Grass Residence before & they’re great except for this one that is hosted by Andrea. The unit is unlivable, filthy, cramp, & has no standard at all. I enumerated below all the things that we complained about & unfortunately, the host is not cognizant of what a good living standard should be; she even blamed me for not giving her the opportunity to fix the following problems: For the unit improvements, the following needs to be addressed: 1. Roaches are crawling everywhere 2. No potable water to drink 3. Cigarette smell 4. Bed sheet and pillows smell like sweat 5. Bathroom sink is not draining well 6. Refrigerator is not working 7. Kitchen light is out 8. Huge uncovered water bucket in the bathroom that occupies ⅓ of the space but has no water; not sure what it is for 9. Bathroom is filthy 10. No soap, toilet paper or basic supplies & not sure what else we can discover... Below are her unedited responses: “we will change the bedsheets,i will send you a person to address your all the concern.im not in manila now. i still have 1 unit. i will arrange my other unit now.bathroom supplies and soap is not provided.huge drum inside the bathroom ia for water purpose just incase no water supply but i can remove and clean the bathroom again.sorie if uve roaches,im giving u.a unit to transfer actually.im fixing everything for your familyas i told you i cant fix it by 1 hour just give us time to fix.no intensions for bad image sir.the only problem is you”
The room is not clean there are cockroaches , no new bed sheets were placed, no cofee mugs , no tv as mentioned on the inlcusion , the host is 2 hours late on the time of check in and check out! shower is not working properly, curtain rock is damaged!

Worst experience
A lot of things went wrong for this booking. The owner kept us aware that we should not say we rented a unit through a website and that we would not be able to go through the main lobby to enter but rather was snuck through the back exit doorway. When we got there it wasn’t even the unit we reserved. Instead of a 2 bedroom unit that was posted we were given a studio unit. They also refused to at least give us some receipt for the deposit and expected us to rely on their word that they would return it the next day. I spoke to the owner regarding the concerns and she was very rude. Didn’t have any consideration and was pretty much making snotty comments as if I was in the wrong. I did complain to the hotels.com website and they were great, even gave me something back even if it was non-refundable. You really do pay for what you get. We ended up paying for the place but left that moment because of what we experienced and ended up in a wonderful hotel close by. Be careful for what you pay for especially through this “Andrea” account. Apparently she has more places she rents out so be careful.
