Would stay here

Everything was amazing. Food, service, cleanliness, views, beyond expectations. Location a bit far from shops/restaurants but thats the trade off for quietness.

From the serene private baths to the Michelin-starred cuisine, every detail is designed for relaxation and indulgence. Whether you’re escaping for a solo recharge or a romantic getaway, this is the perfect place to unwind.

Excellent service, thoughtful gift, authentic hot spring.

The room was fantastic. We had a balcony with outdoor furniture where we sat and enjoyed the view, complimentary drinks and fruit. There was an in-room onsen with hot spring water. Excellent for a soak when you can’t be bothered to go through the trouble of getting to the public bath (which was also great, with sauna and steam room). The bed was comfortable. The included breakfast was fab. The room rate was not cheap but at least we were not disappointed.

Incredible Private Onsen Stay

Wonderful onsen stay with amazing breakfast, service, and amenities. Private onsen for every room with lux decor. Everything about this stay was incredible!! Highly recommend.

Nice, quiet location in the hills with nice views. Room had hot tub and cold tub by the window. Strong smell of sulfur made it necessary to have windows open when filling up the tub but after a while smell is gone and it’s nice and relaxing. One thing that bothered me was that toilet had a glass door, leaving no privacy. Otherwise great amenities and services.

Beautiful facility. Service is top notch. They take care of you from the moment you walk onto the property to the moment you leave. Will be coming back and staying longer.

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The staff was friendly, the spa facilities were clean and modern. There were very minor signs of wear and tear in the room. My partner booked a Chinese style massage which was supposedly stronger, but it wasn't at all. The massage was overall not great value for the price. Breakfast was delicious, you get to choose between a western style or taiwanesw style breakfast. Both come as a set menu and were delicious.

Very nice

A luxury stay in Beitou for the hot spring experience. The room was lovely with fantastic amenities down to facial toner and even facial mask sheets that are all complimentary. The hotel even provides complimentary use of their lounge wear while staying at the property which is a nice touch. The room comes with mini bar well stocked with full coffee, tea, soft drinks and snacks and are all free. We booked the family suite and the room was huge with separate toilet and bath. The private hot spring in the room really sold the expensive price tag. Staff were extremely friendly and professional. Breakfast was also scrumptious and suits my Asian tastebuds. On the cons, the property feels a tad dated and can use some updating. Guest preferences such as no alcohol should be remembered. I still had plum wine sent to my room on my 2nd night even though I had already informed we are a non alcohol family. Small issue but should be a given for a 5 star property. Housekeeping missed a few spots. Lounge wear was put on the floor as it was dirty but somehow not replaced. Trash in the corner by the curtains was also missed. In room entertainment is limited for sure. but this could be the norm in Taiwan and I’ve been spoilt by other luxury hotels. Beitou is a quiet town and not much to do. Location of the hotel is not the best but they do provide free shuttle bus to the MRT although it is usually very packed and guests end up waiting a few rounds. Overall, still a lovely experience.

Grand View Beitou is such a unique, luxurious property. We stayed a night for our honeymoon and the staff made us feel so welcome! Would absolutely stay here again for another special occasion.

Courteous staff and five star service

I decided to splurge and get a room here and I was not disappointed! Jeffrey at the front desk helped to check me in and noticed that it was my birthday and gave me a wonderful macaron snack that was a wonderful start. He gave me a tour of my room and all the settings as well as helping to set up a massage very last minute. The massage was also amazing and Selina is truly a rockstar with her hands. I came out of my massage incredibly relaxed and ready to hit up my dinner at Chinese Cuisine which had a delicious abalone dish that was truly blissful. I ended the night in my private hot springs tub and slept like a baby. The next morning, my breakfast at Chinese Cuisine was delicious and SO. MUCH. FOOD. Truly the portions here are large and I was not hungry a single second I was here. The mini-bar in the room was also well stocked with drinks and snacks. I was super sad when I checked out because this was truly the most magical stay and I wish I had stayed for longer. Thank you everyone for making this an amazing stay that relaxed me so much. I can't wait to come back!

Room is smaller than expected and not enough table and cabinets

Peaceful and tranquil

My husband and I came to celebrate our anniversary. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and helpful. We had a very relaxing time and really enjoyed our stay. We love love to visit the resort again next time.

Staying at Grand View Resort was one of the highlights of my entire trip. Room was very spacious and beautiful. Staff were very friendly. Top notch service from start to end. It’s not cheap but it’s worth every penny!

Peaceful

Amazing hot spring experience. With both cold and hot tubs inside your private room. you can overlooking natural green wall of trees while relaxing on top quality hot springs. Abundant snacks and drinks are provided by the hotel also. Restaurants inside the hotel are simply good. Both Chinese and Western style breakfast are great. Staffs are top quality overall!

The staff at this property are what made the stay special. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and always ready to assist the guests. They took note of special requests, and ensured that they went above and beyond to deliver. They made us feel truly welcomed. Their excellent attitude also added to the serenity the property naturally brought. That said, the property is a little dated, but still very well maintained. It was an extremely relaxing stay. I will surely return. Thank you to all the staff!

We stayed two nights at the Grand View Resort. The in-room mizuburo and onsen bath were a treat,.and definitely the best thing about the room! The bed was sufficiently firm, and very large. Pillows are on the softer side. Water pressure in the shower room was good. The complimentary breakfasts were delicious. We recommend the Taiwanese style breakfast over the western style one. They're both great, but that Taiwanese breakfast was just a little more special. We had one dinner at their Chinese restaurant, and it was excellent as well. Staff were always helpful and very courteous without being overbearing. We also appreciated the complimentary shuttle service to Beitou and Xinbeitou Stations. The only downside to the place is that its location is far into the mountainside, and not walkable during summer.

Certainly top hot spring hotel in Taipei area. Simply great! Really enjoy the food at the French restaurant.

Best Experience Ever

The second we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted with welcome drinks and a staff member (Jeffrey) went through all the amenities with us. He escorted us to our room, described how to use the private hotspring both the hot and cold tub. Fitted us with proper size shoes and day spa outfits. He described all 3 hotel restaurants and ensured our reservations for both nights. He also arranged our spa treatments. Our breakfasts were delicious, elaborate and free. We had our morning meals overlooking a stunning landscape of mountains. Dinners were equally delicious. We didn't eat lunch. Between the hearty morning meals and all the free fruit (oranges and bananas), pineapple cakes, crackers, cookies, nuts, plum wine, water (sparkling/still) and juice, we were too full to eat until dinner. The hotel exudes unparalleled luxury, but it's the team of pleasant & professional staff that made our stay a perfect experience.

Staff service is beyond expectation. 6 stars

If I could give it 10 stars, I will. Room was very clean, and the service by everyone we came across was top-notched. It was such a luxurious experience and well worth the high price tag. Will definitely come back again.

Check out time is too restrictive. We would come a lot more often if check out is 12:00 noon or can be extended to 1:00 PM without charge, but 11:00 is too restrictive

The best hotspring resort in Taipei

It is the best hotspring resort in Taipei. Our check-in was smooth and the room was spacious with a fantastic view! The food in the Chinese restaurant was great as well. Overall a wonderful experience here.

酒店服務很好，接駁車很方便，人員友善。 房內溫泉水是白磺泉，泡起來真的很舒服，旁邊還有一冷池，可交替泡👏 戶外泳池不大，還有兩個小熱池可泡，但是室內大勝，也有露天風呂，裡面有提供飲料供休憩使用，唯一可惜的是禁止12歲以下的小孩前往泡湯。家庭旅遊的家長可能稍有不便。 餐點中等，但是擺盤漂亮大氣。

Fantastic service, great location, amazing food!

My husband and I visited the Grand View for our Honeymoon and received a complimentary cake with a hand-written card. We loved it! With regards to the hotel itself, the location and service was great. The lady who handled our check-in was WONDERFUL!! Everything in the room was complimentary. The in-room hot spring tub was wonderful. Breakfast was amazing, everything on the plate was delicious. Dinner at the Chinese restaurant was delicious as well! Shuttle from the MRT was helpful but sometimes can get crowded. We would definitely visit again.

The Grand View Resort was beautiful and restful pit stop - exactly what we needed for a one night stay after arriving in Taipei with a one year old baby. The Deluxe room was spacious and well-equipped. We had requested for a baby's cot and to our surprise, they've also provided a set of toiletries as well as sterilizer. Very thoughtful! We didn't leave the hotel at all. We had our dinner there at the Chinese restaurant and it was good, with enough variety to please even a finicky six- year-old. My family of four had a wonderful stay at Grand View Resort, just being together, soaking in our in-room onsen and recharging for the rest of the trip. Highly recommended!

Onsen bath was great, equipped both with water/hot bathtub which makes our stay quite an enjoyable one.

Overall it was a Very pleasant experience which I will recommend my friends to stay at this hotel. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Facilities are great. The only downside is the swimming pool is a bit small and not heated.

Good value hotel for holiday

It's a really nice getaway place to visit. The best place that offers you the best scenic and the authentic Taiwanese cuisine, and it's located near Tam shui. The best place for a couple.

The property is marvelous. Location is next to the hill which gives people have a refreshing environment, hotel's meals are also delicious. Hotel staff is polite, friendly and willing to help. The hotel room is mind-blowing, interiors are modern, private bath is irresistible.

Overall property is good, just some sprucing up on worn out interior equipment and exterior painting etc.

The room assigned was a bit smaller and much darker than the one I stayed at previously (same room type), but with a better view. Friendly staff and very clean room as always. Great place for a weekend getaway.

Good for relax and holiday. A bit hard for work.

Slight hiccup to the electronic toilet, but other things are good. It will be even better if there is a foot rest or small chair inside the shower. Although there is full wifi, there is however NO work-table in the room, so if you also has to check on the e-mails, you have to do it on the couch or near the sink.

This property is just awesome! The staff is so helpful and does everything possible to make the stay a special experience. The breakfast is a treat in itself! Don’t miss it! Simon was so helpful to arrange tours for us with an English speaking guide. This hotel lives up to its 5 star rating!

The exterior of the building is quite plain looking, but once you step inside, it's understated elegance strikes you. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and give a detailed briefing of the facilities in the resort. Then they bring you to the exceptionally well appointed and equipped room where you want for nothing! The only tiny thing which was not working properly was the Nespresso machine which leaked.. We only discovered that on the last night.. Not a big deal as you can get good brewed coffee at breakfast time, and from the machines in the resort's public hot springs. The food in the resort was also excellent. Overall the resort exceeded all our expectations,and we would highly recommend it for a getaway from the city!

The hotel is suited on the mountain with a convenient shuttle bus in and out to the MRT station every 15-30 min. The downside is no buffet style of food and the price order food from the menu is steep. Other than that, it is a good place to stay for honey moon.

Beyong High Expectations

The wonderful staff went above and beyond the standard procedure to ensure a very special visit to Grand View Resort. We enjoyed both the public and the private Hot Spring experiences as well the abundant breakfasts both eastern and western. Both my partner and I enjoyed the eastern and western breakfast sets to the usual hotel buffet and the morning service staff was attentive without being imposing. We also took advantage of the free shuttle down mountain to enjoy more of Taipei and the Beitou neighborhood and took great pleasure in the view from the in-room tubs and our balcony.

We stayed one night at the resort for hotspring. There are public hotsprings in the hotel and also private hotspring in our room. Our room was spacious, we loved the private hot spring bath, one with hot spring water and the other with cold water. We had dinner at the Chinese restaurant, fine dinning quality with reasonable price. For breakfast, you can choose between Chinese and Western style, and both are delicious.

All staff are sweet and service quality is perfect.

My son loves the breakfast. We had Chinese Noddle.

Hot Spring Trip

Everything was wonderful. The best hot spring hotel that we have stayed in Taiwan. Their vegetarian/vegan breakfast was also a big plus. We will for sure come back!

We enjoyed the early check in and how we were given a thorough explanation of all of our amenities in our room and in the hotel. Everything in the mini bar was complimentary too! We selected the Chinese style breakfast which was delicious and we already can't wait for the next time we can come back. Thank you!

Staff were friendly, helpful and customer focused. Personal hotspring facility made me feel relaxed. Western style breakfast was impressive whilst the Chinese style breakfast could be improved. If i could ask for one change, i would want availability of brighter lightings in the room if required for readings.

Quick Recharge

we have 48 hours in Taipei and we have picked Grand View at Beitou to recharge the body and mind. Everything is great in this hotel.

Just to mention that the living room in suite might need to add some air-conditioner outlet as air there not good!

not meeting high end hotel expectation

the hotel is located in Beitou hotspring area, like the quiet and lush environment. As a high end hotel, the hotel facility is old, the room space is mall and the hotel has small garden area. We booked a room called mountain view but most of the view are old buildings which are not pleasant

its overprice. bathroom smells bad. tv reception signal is bad. grand hyatt taipei is a much better deal at half the price and they have much cleaner onsen there. or go to japan. for the same price or better you get a much better room, service and just about everything.. i stayed in takayama onsen resort 2 years ago and they have much better facility for a better price too.

It was great! I love this hotel of the view, the location, the facilities and the staffs are really helpful! But food is just fine! Could be better! I don't like the breakfast set.
