This is the (worst) hotel I ever booked in my life. How is this a 4 stars hotel? It is maximum 2 stars! It is very old and not clean. The room: The bathroom is awful, the elevators are small, slow, and one not working! The lobby is very old and smells bad! The reception don’t know the rules and asking his colleague before any step in the check in. For the check out, it took them more than 10 minutes to finish the process!! Wow! And the location is not the best, there are many other options better after I visited the city. It is an avoid for me, I prefer sleeping in the car instead of booking this place again. Really disappointed.

Bad choice of Hotel

They said the was a jacuzzi but when you arrive the jacuzzi has been out of service for months, besides the pool is disgusting filled with bird poop and when we asked it to be cleaned he put the dirt back in the pool we almost threw up, the gym looks like a morgue and the hotel looks like a ghost house, there are much better hotels nearby

The staff was nice enough to offer me a ride to the airport on my last day in Doha. The driver, while initially nice, started playing religious recitations on his radio for a very loooooooooooong time! This was extremely annoying and rude. I understand and respect the country's religion, but please don't impose it on me especially when I'm just a guest expecting you to respect me as well.

WiFi was really bad Gym was old and dirty

I wish they will update there late check in it take hours before a room is prepared

Organise your own transfers!

Very disappointed as they do not read the instructions on the booking nor do they read the private messages sent to them from the customer. When they do eventually read them, they respond very late and not within a timely manner. For example, I booked for the 10/10/19-12/10/19. I advised them of my flight details and asked for airport transfers to and from the hotel at least twice. Once at the point of booking and again in a private message. Arrived at the airport and was disappointed there was no one to meet me. I grabbed a taxi and got to the hotel. I asked them where my airport transfer was and they said that none had been booked for me even though it was requested. I received a response for confirmation of airport transfers today! On the 18th October!!! Ummmm I think the hotel is a little delayed.

I was able to check in much earlier than the standard time which was great after an early flight. Reception staff were good. The room was large and clean and had good facilities. Wifi was good. Room service was missing a few items on the menu and the staff didnt have the best English. The pool area lost the sun behind other buildings by 1pm which was the most disappointing thing. Overall I liked the hotel, its a little dated but quite grand. Its in a noisy area but that didnt bother me. Uber in Doha is great so it didnt matter that the hotel wasnt near much. It was a bargain price per night.

Constant problems with wi fi connection even though i had a room change also a different router still bad connection only worked stood in a corner of the bathroom. Swimming pool for 2 days very unclean. And the location stuck in the middle of major major construction.

Hotel room and service was great , bed was very comfortable and also pillows were great , disappointing was the pool as we wanted to relax bird poo all over the place on the sunbeds and in the pool , pool and surrounding area were v dirty

The TV channels were very limited..The Towels were over used ...no coffee in the room..

I always prefer this hotel, but the last time the receptionist was rude. I have checked out but got a call asking when will I be leaving. I confirmed that I checked out and was rudely questioned and told they need to check the room. So disappointing, I booked another hotel

Everything were too old, Internet wifi was very slow speed, The gym was like a destroyd place, Water was too cold in the pool,

There was alot of dust, we had to leave three days before to another hotel and they didn’t return our money. We got very sick because the Dust and the first night we didn’t have our room cleaned. For tonight

Acceptable hotel

Speed of service during check in and out not up to standard. Hotel is definitely not 5*. Bathroom needed renovation. TV is small and old. Had a coffee machine without coffee inside the room (nescafe sachets on the side though). My experience, budget price for a budget room and experience. Wouldn't really do it again.

They have two clubs in the hotel, both of which have no patrons and have the music so loud that you cannot possible socialize with anybody anyway. But the price and location are unbeatable.

Old hotel and worst management

I reserved my booking via Expedia but the hotel management did not received any notification from Expedia. Well, I have showed them the reference ID even opened my Expedia apps for them (fees collected by hotel) to the hotel reception but I got informed by the staff that he worked for the hotel 4 years and that case (fees collected by hotel) never been done before if booking through Expedia. A very dissappointed services given and I started raised my tone by giving all the facts and proved (by right the hotel should just let me to check in and at the moment call the Expedia hotline, because I informed them I had a long journey and soon will be back to the airport (long transit)), but this staff required me to call expedia. After few argument, they finally gave me a room to rest. After getting the card, I entered the room, it looks old but fine for just transit. The shower room was not working well as the water will be flooded after taking shower. Hair dryer is not working. I will never ever to check this hotel again for my next transit/business trip.

It was a nice hotel but the pool was out of service, which was very disappointing.

Great staff but the hotel is a little tired

The staff at the hotel did their very best to make the stay as pleasant as possible. I was in Doha for work and the hotel was practical for me. If I had been there on holiday I may have chosen differently.

When I did arrive the reception didn't receive the confirmation from your side I was lucky I have print out from it It took long time until I got the room

Worse hotel experience

Where can I start, other than the fact that there weren't any rooms available anymore and after 2hours of trying to check-in. They downgraded my room for the same price. Hotel staff weren't helpful at all. I had to deal wih 3 different managers and each had a different story.

Poor location!

Sadly this stay in Qatar was spoiled due to the quality and service provided by the hotel. The gym was probably the worst hotel gym I have ever used! The restaurant was buffet style and the food was average. However I was double charged on drinks, and despite explaining to the hotel manager he continued to charge. I will never stay in this hotel again and would NOT recommend.

Friendly and helpful staff

Staff were very helpful with advice, organizing car with driver for tour, late checkout (in recognition of my 3 a.m. arrival) and airport transfer.

Bad stuff

It is so bad hotel. I can't say this is 5 stars hotel, One star is too much for it. " BAD STUFF " For valet barking: you have to wait for them at least 30 minutes. No help for luggage. don't think to stay on it.

Close to the beach.

It's a nice hotel and good people but too many room and floors . The elevator is Very slow with a number of guests. They have 3 elevators . Just 2 elevators work .

5-star hotel with good value for money

An average 5-star hotel with reasonable amenities and good value for the price paid. The hotel has a bar / pub which is an added advantage as very few hotels in the nearby vicinity.

My stay at Doha, Qatar

Me and my family were in Doha for a three day vacation, and we selected this hotel for the star rating, location and price. I would give this hotel four stars, not five due to: we booked three rooms, but found only two were reserved, the superior room turned out to be a standard room until we requested the change, smoking smell was everywhere. The toilet had only one towel. The refrigerator was not working (hot). On the other side, the location is great being close to many attractions.

Reasonably priced business hotel

Reasonable hotel for the price paid with all the basic amenities taken care of. The hotel is situated walking distance from Bank Street and Souq Waqif which helps to take care of business as well as dining activities. Basically a hotel with no thrills and frills but can help one get the job done for business purposes

Reasonable business class hotel

Rated as a 5-star hotel but realistically I would rate it 4-star. Nevertheless the stay was comfortable with reasonable facilities for a business traveler. Price paid was reasonable inclusive of WIFI and breakfast and with good proximity to most areas of city limits.

Good price but both hotel condition and staff appeared tired. Location not very exciting with much building work taking place outside.

Very nice stay. Not the most modern of hotels, but frankly for the price, service and location ( walking distance to the souqs, Corniche and MIA), hard to beat. Free airport shuttle, very friendly and helpful staff at the reception-special thanks to Elyes.

Very nice hotel but not the best location

The hotel itself is very nice and very clean. Good food and great facilities. The morning staff was very friendly and accommodating, while the afternoon staff was impersonal. I was mistakenly charged twice for my hotel room. My major complaint about it is that it's not in the best location of Doha. It takes a good twenty minutes of walking to get to many of the common tourist sites.
