The bed is old and too soft causing backache. Need to shift position to avoid backache therefore didn't have good sleep for last few nights.

MOSS SMELL IN THE ROOM

Wallpaper was falling apart and had major moss smell.

Too old and smells that mosquitoes are even lobby cafe. Service were to slow that they need more employees. They should rate as 3 stars or below!!

This properties shouldn't 5 stars that 3 stars or less that room has smells so bed and lobby cafe has full of mosquitoes!! Full of group travelers with noise and less hotel staffs that hard to get service.

A beautiful and relaxing hotel with my favourite gold color architecture. My family and I will visit Grand Plaza Hotel , Hanoi in our future trips. Thank you to all staff at the reception, house keeping, restaurant, cafe bar lounge and fitness centre.

On Expedia the hotel promises a free airport shuttle from the airport , but I was told that service is no longer runs and has not been running for a year already , Why advertise it ?

Very nice place. Staff seemed to be getting back in practice after Covid but I am sure they will get there.

Excellent location. Friendly and helpful staff. Will recommend this hotel to all. Restaurant was excellent. Great food and service. Staff arranged my transportation and trip to the Ban Gioc Waterfalls which was amazing. Overall I give them a full 5 stars.

Normal quality as usual. Strongly recommend to extend the sauna and gym from 10pm to 11pm or later.

5 Star hotel but not so 5 star. You have to walk a distance into the dark room before you can switch on all lights in the room. Give a little eerie feel. Suitable for non-picky consumer.

This is the fifth time living here. Everything keep the same. No surprise but no upset.

It’s a huge, beautiful disappointment. It’s so massive that the staff literally have no care about who is staying nor whether you’re having a good or enjoyable time. It’s overpriced and only three of the restaurants actually open of an evening. One night we actually had someone, presumably a member of staff, try to get into our room after midnight. Luckily we had the chain on. We complained but they literally weren’t bothered. I wouldn’t go back nor would I recommend the place to anyone else. Harsh, but the truth often is

room is big , very convietniet location

Great location, a new mall next to it. Great Onsen in the Hotel and I can enjoy everyday.

Facilities are a little run down and needs renovation to keep updated.

This was once a 5 star hotel but it is barely a 4 star these days. Service was the worse I had in Vietnam. Location Is a long way from where you want to stay when traveling in Hanoi

Overall good!

Overall very good place to stay. Location was good as there is a mall at walking distance, so shopping and food was easy. Only disappointment was that service is VERY SLOW. Our room phone was broken, we reported for 3 days, no one fixed or changed, we used the washroom set each time during the entire 4 days stay. Each time they said, we noted and we will get back to you, but they never did.

The hotel is a bit far from the happening places, so a 40 to 60 minute taxi ride is necessary.

Nice hotel very clean and just away from busy area

Really pleasant stay at the grand plaza Hanoi, food was good, staff were friendly and the location was a little further away from the hectic old quarter, about 20 mins in a taxi but taxis are constantly outside hotel and very cheap in Vietnam. Grey with my 2 children for staying and great pool and spa facilities.

Great suite

Great suite for a reasonable price in a good location. Disappointing that we were only given 2 free waters in our room. Also breakfast variety and quality could have been better.

The room was spacious. Service staff were friendly.

I booked non smoking room and extra bed for my son, but they prepare smoking room. The receptionist told me no rooms right now. Is it ok to stay at smoking room with my little son? So terrible! I really don't like this hotel.

Good location in center of town

I was only there one night, but everything was fine. The only problem was when I got a a taxi from the Concierge, he should have told the taxi driver which terminal I needed to go to. I tried to tell the taxi driver, but he didn't speak English and I was taken to the wrong terminal, nearly missing my flight.

Excellent

It has been a excellent and memorable stay at Grand Plaza Hotel located at Ha Noi city in Vietnam. Remarkable cleanliness not only the rooms but also the entire hotel were equally clean and well maintained. Hotel service, amenities and location is also above the mark level. Too Good.

Good Hotel, but terrible front-desk services

Well, I'm the regular customer of this hotel from beginning, I satisfied with the staffs and whole the facilities which I have been offered... But now I'm very disappointed in all of front-desk Staffs Manager & Security are NOT guest friendly! Extra person charges apply beyond double occupancy if you forget checkin 2 pax of your booking confirmation. I booked a non-smoking room, but it seems like that it not nice smell, order caused by smoked moldy, mildew or even both.

Most Memorable Biz Trip

Thanks Hotels.com Singapore, I think I booked a Standard Room with you guys, but when I checked in, this Hotel gave me a Junior Suite, it was a big surprise for me, I was able to invite all my biz partners to my suite for our business meetings instead of visiting their office in Hanoi. It was so convenient. thanks again.

Not sure if I will return

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this hotel. Each time is normally for 1 week. I like the hotel but it seems that they do not allow the air conditioner to work. The coolest I can ever make my room is 25C. This is much to hot for me to be able to sleep well. So before I will stay again, they must guarantee to me that I can have the air con down to 21C. Other than the issue I've had each time with how hot the room is, the property is very nice.

My first trip to Hanoi, so I selected this hotel via Expedia website which featured many, and certainly not disappointed, the hotel even collected me from the airport, and return.

Like a mansion to yourself

This hotel is quite large and when we were there quite empty. The gym is amazing and the indoor pool is a great treat considering there are few of these in Hanoi. The housekeeping staff responded to requests quite quickly and the desk was very efficient and polite. There weren't many guests so it gave you feeling of having the place to yourself.

World's Best Luxury Hotel?

Not quite to be honest but nevertheless very good, courteous and friendly staff especially at the front desk. Room facilities were good as well, plenty of bottled water which is important. I would stay here again as the location is fairly convenient for getting around Hanoi but I have to say it was good value for money. Restaurant staff were a bit slow to remove used plates, dishes etc from the table but not a major issue.

Good facilities and room not matched by service

The hotel is well appointed with excellent physical facilities. The staff are pleasant but amateurish - they made a mistake about the booking, told our tour company neither of us were registered when they rang, and the staff at breakfast were poorly trained - when asked for milk for coffee they took it from another occupied table and had no idea when to clear used plates,etc

Great Service and facilities

I was very amaze upon arrival at this Grand Plaza Hotel. It was rated as 4 stars but for the looks of it for me its a five star. The room was very spacious , the bed is big and comfortable, their Gym are huge that in the Gym they have jogging tracks , so you can jog around. they also have free sauna and jacusi pool for in house guest. The breakfast have a variety of meal to choose from , local food , chinese , japanese and western food. The services and Hotel amenities were great! Wow! I had a very wonderful experience staying in this Hotel. Highly recommended!

Lovely place

This hotel was everything a five star hotel should be, food was amazing with wonderful choice, beds (as always in Vietnam) were VERY firm, but comfortable and the rooms were very well appointed. My only quibble was regarding children in the gym; no children in the gym unless they were sitting motionless on the mat - they could hurt themselves otherwise. Which is fair enough, but with parental supervision, I would have thought it should have been ok. Otherwise it was lovely, the pool and exercise pool were a little chilly but nice after a hard day in Ha Noi.

Overall good hotel

Overall nice hotel to stay at when in Hanoi for business. This hotel seems to be mainly occupied by Korean business people. The only drawback was an unpleasant smell of chemicals when switching on the air condititioning which gave me respiratory problems as I suffer from allergic reactions.. I guessed that this is something they use to fight bugs, so I decided to switch it off, air the room and stand the heat.

I have stayed at this Hotel 5 times since it opened, as it is one of the nicer hotels in Hanoi. Perhaps more for Business related purposes, as it is a Taxi ride (US$5-10) to the Old Quarter and other tourist areas. The Korean management keeps the facilities perfectly maintained and provides very good service. The food selections tend to favor Korean tastes, but I have found that there are few hotels in Hanoi who cater to a greater Western menu. My only complaint with the hotel is the heating and cooling system for the rooms is either one or the other, so in the winter the rooms are too hot and in the summer they are hard to cool down. There is no way to fix the problem without opening a small window that in turn lets in the street noise. So if you like a really warm room, this is your place to stay! Also, they do have a relationship with a golf course, if that is on your to do list.

Moreover, every morning, the hallway was filled with cigarette smoke, which was very unpleasant as a non-smoker. The head spa was supposed to be open until 11:30 p.m., but when I visited at 10 p.m., it was already closed. Overall, it was a disappointing experience."

部屋のシャワーとバスタブのお湯がぬるかったです。一番高い温度に設定してもぬるく、また部屋もエアコンが消さずとても寒かったです。

편리한 교통, 은행 및 주변 인프라 좋음

룸 상태 좋고, 공항에서 멀지 않고 신 시가지 내부에서 움직이기가 괜찮네요~

A hotel with a lot of korean tourist, very crowd and noisy at night, air condition is seem not working, very hot and no ventilation, also, only approach if you love old style design

GrandPlaza Hanoi Hotel : full of mould smell

Building Out side view was great. But as sion as I checked into the room, air-conditioning was running with massive smell of moulds, which made me sleepless all night.(had to wake uo 3 times, unable to breath......) I never recommend this hotel to anybody, nor stay here again.

에어컨이 25도에 세팅되어 있고,온수외에는 시원한물이 나오질 않습니다.너무 더워 그나마 시원한 방으로 교체를 해줬지만 도찐개찐.3박을 했는데 그냥 집에 빨리 가고싶은 생각 뿐!지난 겨울과 이번 3월,5월에 투숙할땐 몰랐는데 동남아 오래된 호텔은 37도를 넘는 여름이 에어컨과 샤워로 인해 문제가 커네요
