Lots of ample parking if you have a car and also very easy to get a taxi cab as most of them sit right outside on the main street. Easy to walk around to nearby restaurants and it feels like you're in some old fancy styled building back in the 80s. The back area is also excellent for just relaxing and watching the sunset.

Worth the price

Excellent service, great room

We loved our stay. The food was very good except for a steak we asked to be cooked medium and it came back over cooked.

The only draw back i had during my stay was my reservation confirmed breakfast for two but physical check with the hotel said one..

Great Option in Suva

We celebrated my aunts birthday at the GPH ballroom so I booked the one night for the after function. My daughter and her cousins thoroughly enjoyed the stay - ordering room service & making use of the pool. If you don't want to spend money on the hotel prices then it is conveniently located in the City so any options of food & shopping is close by. It is on the higher end of accommodation that you can find in Suva but you will get your money's worth for what you pay.

The building, grounds and views are lovely.

Excellent option in Savu

Awesome service and staff.

Am a regular customer at GPH, i think the standard of room itself has dropped. Where we could always be quiet at the foyer, that doesnt seem like it anymore

I have been to many countries and countless hotels all over the world but this has to be one of the worst experiences. 6 rooms we had at the hotel It’s the little things that matter 1) Kids and they were swimming so we ordered food and it took over an hour with still no food only to find our food was given to another group so we had to wait even more. 2) This I understand if hotel doesn’t have microwaves in the room but asking to heat up a baby bottle to kitchen is not allowed just makes no sense and crazy 3) One of the rooms we checked out found charges we didn’t do that we had to prove ourselves and even charges we did do and already paid for the system said we didn’t so we had to show bank account transactions to prove it- what kind of systems do you have 4) Breakfast all rooms came with breakfast including the kids only for the staff to charge us for the kids 5) We started with 2 room cards and now I have 5 as they keep not working for something so simple We then have to walk all the way back to reception each time it doesn’t work A simple checking off the room and how many included would have covered this off but no one ever asked just what rooms we were in All these things are fixable which is the good news and I don’t think I’m having high expectations that these things shouldn’t have happened If you need more information feel free to let me know and I can supply details of my stay at the hotel

Should improve in food Their breakfast are not good n is not worth paying that amount of money for that I stayed in Hoilday Inn was way better than staying in grand Pacific.. it’s only the Name ..

They place itself was beautiful. The staff very helpful and friendly. There was a park across the street and a parade ground. The only thing missing was a beach.

Excellent heritage hotel! Lives up to the 5 star luxury! Stayed in an Oceanfront/view room & would highly recommend it! Worth the extra! Every single staff will go out of their way to ensure you have the best experience possible. Shout out to Sara who made our breakfast and dining experience extra special!

Great stay! The room was big and spacious with a large bathroom. The buffet breakfast is a must try. Staff were helpful and very friendly.

We had Breakfasts only these were all you could ask for Luisa looked after us daily remembered our drink choices A1 service. Reception were very helpful when I needed to print & scan business documents, I would stay again.

Great accommodation

The staff were friendly and helpful. However, I found the room somewhat noisy. I think this was partly due to the fact that our room faced the lift and bowling club. The very loud and terrible music ( swearing rap music) from the bowling club kept us awake for most of the night. Catching taxis was somewhat problematic. Some drivers were really good others wanted to rip you off.

Great staff, good breakfast buffet. Hotel itself is gorgeous but the rooms are definitely older/a bit drab and dark. Otherwise we had a great stay.

Family vacation

Very nice hotel. Very friendly. Well kept. Great location. The rooms are very nice, but the bathroom was a little bit odd for me the way it was exposed to the rest of the room. Not family-friendly that way, but a nice bathroom overall. Good food good buffet for breakfast.

Everything was excellent. I have no complaints. Our room was exceptional. I loved everything about this resort.

Location is central,easy to go to city for shopping and dining.

best place in suva city. loved it.

Experience was great. Rooms are very big especially for families. Staff were very friendly and they went far and beyond with their services. Our 6 year old son was not feeling well during our stay there. When we got back to the our room there was a fruit platter and a well wishes note card prepared by the staff wishing him health and well being and that meant so much to us. Vinaka Vakalevu GPH staff for everything you all did. Please continue to be great. God bless.

Nice and friendly hotel

The hotel was clean and the receptionist was friendly and very helpful.

Staff were friendly but there were some miss communication about my included breakfast. I had to clarify with reception as its embarassing when the catering says theres no breakfast included

Very clever

Likes- very warm, welcoming and friendly staff. Catered for my son’s food allergies . Great view from the room. Dislikes- nothing . Will stay here again if we ever visit Suva.

After spending 10 days in rural Fiji with no plumbing, we were desperate for a hot shower. It was a shame the Grand Pacific had NO HOT WATER during our entire stay before heading back out to remote Fiji. They compensated us $20 off our bill for the inconvenience, but somehow that felt like more of an insult than an appropriately sized gesture. If you don't need hot water, though, the hotel and amenities seemed fine.

The staff especially manoa and yuva (not sure if name is correct but was during the day service for breakfast and lunch

Hotel itself was pretty good. The Restaurant food was very poor. The Cafe was very good. Staff lovely.

No comment everything wonderful

The crew that was providing service by the pool on the 7th of June in the evening was exceptional. Sorry forgot their names but big shout out to them. We were little disappointed with the bathrooms in the room as there is no privacy due to small gaps.

Safe not locking properly. Hard time locking and opening. Patio door is hard to open.

The staff at the property were fabulous. I think a lot more can be done around the swimming pool. It just looks like a square block of water in the middle of the complex. The bathroom shower is large and a lot of wasted space in the bathroom. Also, the see-through walls in the bathroom doesn’t make sense if sharing with other people. Additional hooks for your clothing would help more in the bathroom.

Great as usual

Our stay was great as usual! We asked for early check in and unfortunately didn’t get it, I guess our room was still not ready by 3:00 so we were given a nicer room…worked out well

Amazing with great food (I think I got room service every night) and all the staff is beyond cool and nice. Please stop by the bakery and start your day with a croissant and get a cake for dinner later - you won’t regret it.

Great hotel to stay in Suva for: Easy access to city, museum, parliament etc. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast and dinner meals are delicious. The have a lovely little bakery and coffee shop on site. The spa is a must. I had a very relaxing massage there. The staff are very friendly. One thing I must comment on is there needs to be a little more effort with efficiency especially in the dining area in the evenings. Other then that I have enjoyed my stay once more and I highly recommend GPH.

GPH lacking international standards for an IHG

Where do I begin …,Dismal breakfast, quality of fruits appalling, poor service from wait staff. Meals at other times not much different - waiting for service, not enough menus for the table and then they got the order wrong. Needless to say, I won’t be returning.

I liked everything about this property except when they chose to turn the hot water on when some “important” person checked in. Then, after that person checked out the water went back cold. I was there three days taking cold showers, before the German guest.
