Amazing Pool

Amazing Pool and spa área!

We stayed 5 nights on a holiday and I can’t praise the hotel enough - friendly staff, superior service, great (free!) breakfast and dining option, well maintained gym and perfect location just a short walk from Potsdamer Platz!

Nice breakfast, very nice rooms, pool and jacuzzi were great. The staff are very nice and accommodating to make the stay comfortable and easy.

Very Nice Hotel But Restricted Dining Let it Down

The hotel is great, very clean etc & bed was very comfortable. What really spoiled it for me was the dining, the dining is hugely lacking - or it was when I was there. One restaurant completely closed for the summer and the usual menu for the main restaurant wasn’t available, just a very restricted all-day menu. If the restaurants and full menu had been available it would gave been 5⭐️ all the way but the available dining was nowhere near that level (very limited all-day menu isn’t 5⭐️ - something I’d expect more at a Premier Inn to be honest), I ate elsewhere or ordered in. It’s a shame that the dining spoiled it because it’s a lovely hotel & staff were very friendly and excellent. I’m sure that if I’d been there at another time with Vox offering its full, proper menu it would have been 5⭐️ all the way

Liked the property very much

Very quiet, comfortable, beautifully appointed rooms. Excellent air conditioning. Fantastic location for exploring Berlin. The food at Vox is superb.

Everything is good

Nice staff, clean room, great location. Food could use more work and our servers weren’t checking up on our table enough during dinner. Sauce and sides added to the dish is just to make it look fancier but the main course’s taste is not up to the price it cost.

Staff was amazing

Clean, great location, amazing bed and bathroom

The amenities and all around service was fabulous.

Disappointing customer service. We reserved the bed and breakfast option but we were told the breakfast was only going to be available after 7am and we had to depart the hotel for the airlport at 6am. Expedia and hotel staff told us they would provide us with a boxed breakfast but nothing was provided when we checked out.

Movie theater was around the corner. We watched Mission Impossible after dinner. It was an ynexpected wonderful experience.

The property was in a good location close to shops and restaurants at Potsdamer PL and within walkable distance to Brandenburg Gate.

Friendly staff, great breakfast and I enjoyed a swim and jacuzzi in the spa one evening... which was delightful on the 8th floor overlooking the city.

3 stars hotel in real life, photos are extremely photoshopped , no real 5 star service, indifferent receptionists that just don't give a f*** about the guests. 0 points, 0 luxury. Stay away. Pool and Spa area is cheap and dirty, very low level facilities.

we visited the bar area a couple of evenings and the staff was welcoming and helpful in offering recommendations. Front desk staff and parking staff were awesome as well

The property was conveniently located. We stayed five nights, but our room did not have a view. The breakfast was wonderful. I especially liked we especially liked eggs Benedict. All of the servers were very efficient. Reception was very nice too. The room was well kept. We the elevator to the gym upstairs will work next time.

A Truly Grand Hyatt

Excellent location, attentive service, superlative facility. Easy walking distance to the museums, Tiergarten, Brandenburg Tor, Reichstag, etc., nearby shopping, restaurants, even a entertaining vegan donut shop across the street -- everything you could want really, from a Berlin hotel. Room was spotless and in perfect condition -- although the bed was a tad on the hard side - unusually so, but the only oddity in what were otherwise quite luxurious accommodations.

Grand Hyatt Berlin

Hotel made us feel as if we were on New York or Chicago. Clean, sleek, and modern. Not German per se but that’s ok! Excellent food and kind, friendly service. Very comfortable beds.

Really enjoyed the stay, if I had to say anything it's that the beds are very hard (to me anyway).

This is a nice hotel and I particularly like the spa/pool.

The room was by far the best in Berlin that I’ve stayed at. The breakfast was just wonderful with options and attentive staff. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful. Perhaps best is that I was able to walk to the Brandenburg Gate, the Mall of Berlin, Checkpoint Charlie, the espionage Museum, the Playce (shopping), and much more.

Fantastic, upscale hotel close to the main attractions. The bedroom was beautifully designed.

Quick, courteous check in A minor issue with our room was dealt with instantly and satisfactorily. Great room - comfortable and large - with a lovely bathroom. Breakfast was fine and plenty of choice. Pool and sauna suite were top class. Loved the location, Potsdamer Platz, with most things walkable. Quite a costly hotel but I recommend it.

The Grand Hyatt Berlin is an excellent hotel in a great location. Room was lovely, breakfast buffet was exceptional. All the staff we interacted with were pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend.

Perfect location

Everything was great, concierge in particular was helpful and front desk was super. Small quibbles: No hot tub (a luke warm tub was provided); I rented a bike that broke thru no fault of my own, and they didn't refund the rental (I didn't ask).

We stayed 2 nights on early October 2024, it is located near tiergarden, the breakfast was excellent, very nice staffs, good choices of fruits, salmon etc

Gym didn’t seem to be exclusive to Grand Hyatt guests meaning the room became overcrowded in the morning. Other than that hotel is well located, rooms are a good size and quiet. Worth a visit.

Great stay in a quality hotel at Potsdamer Platz

Great service by the whole team and in particular by the breakfast team led by Timothy and Ngan Vu. Couldn’t do enough for me and the buffet was marvellous. Room (346) was very comfortable and quiet at all times. WiFi was good although aircon could have been stronger given the 32 degree heat outside. Bathroom had a strange layout with both bath and shower next to each other behind a sliding door which was much better than the stupid screens you tend to get in hotels nowadays. Not much privacy to be had though as the bathroom doors (there were 2!) had no locks, the shower door was clear glass and the door to the toilet was only opaque. Fine for me as a solo traveler though. Strange that the wardrobe was in the bathroom area.

Nice hotel with courteous and professional staff. Room was large and well stocked with towels and toiletries. The bed was very comfortable. Our only complaint was that the pool was chilly and the jacuzzi was not hot.

The room was a bit outdated but everything else was perfect.

We had an excellent stay at the Grand Hyatt. The staff, without exception were extremely courteous, helpful, and friendly. We arrived without luggage (which had not made our flight) and the team went out of its way to make and “Emergency Kit” for the two of us. Special shout out to Bellman Jens who went out of his way to take us to a local pharmacy that was about to close, and ensure we got everything we needed. Aside from that, the hotel facilities and rooms were well appointed, clean and in excellent condition. It is also in an excellent location for public transit or walkable touring. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Berlin.

This was one of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in. The location is great and the staff was very accommodating. The beds were the most comfortable we had our entire stay in Europe. Highly recommend!

Staff service is very poor.

It was very clean, service was excellent. Sraff were polite and helpful. Rooms were perfect size and very thoughtful designed. Shower was so nice and clean. Water was nice and strong. Location was excellent and walking distance to a lot of places including shopping. Highly recommend!

Room was spacious, so peaceful tranquil atmosphere, wonderful breakfast, especially fresh fruits, veggies, and plant-based options.

The room and stay itself were excellent and as expected from the Hyatt. However customer service was, or i should say is as still ongoing, is shockingly terrible. Not only over charged but back and forth in around 10 emails with the team, asking crazy information they have such as room numbers, email address all that they have and actually included in earlier correspondence shared. Very annoying, very embarrassing for them

Fair Value Hotel - Centre of Berlin.

We always stay at the Adlon Kempinski but after booking were told that the spa area was closed Jan-May24. They said that the spa at the Grand Hyatt could be used. A 10-minute taxi ride away. We cancelled the Adlon and stay at the Grand Hyatt. The hotel is modern ambience. The bar had friendly service. The evening restaurant was ok. The spa had the best steam room we have ever used. Located on 8th floor. Pool is fine, but not so big. There is no real drinks or snacks service in pool & jacuzzi area, but drinks can be ordered at spa reception. Plastic glasses, of course, and the bottle kept at reception. They pop back to the pool/jacuzzi area to check if a top up is required. The steam room and sauna is accessed via the back of the locker room. Both are mixed use, but ladies and gents have separate showers and locker rooms. No complaints on the spa, but it’s a 6 out of 10. Steam room gets 9.5/10. The breakfast is expensive. €44 if you haven’t got it on your room package. So having melon from the buffet and tea meant I felt to have a slice of toast due to the money spent. A la carte is available, but it’s egg dishes that are listed. I mentioned to the reception guy on the first morning and he said he’d just remove it when we check out. However, on check out the receptionist just said she would pass the feedback on to those who would listen. The 3 x mornings of €44 for just melon & tea. The usual question - would I go back again? The answer is a Yes, but it will be second choice.

Good clean hotel in great location with a very comfortable bed. Only downside was the quite relaxing spa was always really busy and full of children so hardly relaxing and sometimes impossible to use.

We had a superb stay. The only thing that would improve things would be for the pool to be warmer- albeit we stayed in the depths of winter. Would go again!

The stay was amazing!

Super Nice hotel and staff

Our stay was fine. It was a nice hotel however the night we arrived was pandemonium as the German National Football Club was staying in the same hotel as well as the Turkish President staying somewhere very close by. The streets were closed and it was very difficult to find any roads leading to the hotel. Once we arrived, the bellman was nowhere to be found and we waited several mintues. This was fine and understandable as they were probably busy but my main issue was with the front desk. I was not acknowledged at all by the staff while I waiting in line (no one else was waiting). By the time someone acknowledged me, they handed me to someone else who was standing there the whole time without a guest. She could've helped me from the beginning but only helped me when she was prompted. Vietnamese girl, I know because I am Vietnamese. She couldn't speak English well (no big deal but I thought it was an American Hotel) and she also didn't really help. We had a long drive to the hotel, hit with all the traffice and road closure, only for her not to show any empanthy and to tell us to wait outside for the bellman. Went back outside, no bellman was found. Went back inside and met a different gentleman from the front desk who took it upon himself to check me in and also help with our luggage. That was nice. Then we got to check out and the same thing. Staff at the front desk, not helping any guests, and did not acknowledge me in line until I had to say something myself.
