Good amenities close by, pharmacy, fashion and food as well as bus links. But the skip bins constantly overflowing and rubbish all over the car park.
Good hotel, clean and friendly
Nice hotel just not easiest to get too from city centre and football stadium
Convenient
Good experience
Staff at Reception were rude from the time we arrived and during our stay. I also politely asked if i could have a lare checkout, the Receptionist turned to the lady in charge who took a look at m and said NO abruptly with no explanation. I noticed the politeness and smiles to Italuan speaking people that were checking in at the same time. We had no welcome, no smile, no explanation about the hotel, nothing about the facilities. We were just given keys to our room and done.thry did speak English by the way, they just chose not to communicate. I felt very uncomfortable at this hotel. Will NOT be recommending. The bar staff were nice. This hotel was about 20 - 25 minutes away from the centre but we didnt mind travelling on bus to get to places. Public transport was very cheap. Not much to do around the hotel though.
The room we stayed when we draw the curtain you could be seen from properties that are overlooking the room, the rubbish bins are right in front of the hotel.
Exactly what was required of short trips
It was not close to attractions, but bus & metro near. Quiet & places around hotel to eat. Bed good, staff friendly. Breakfast not included, but good coffee and pastry bar 200 ft.
Great Place to stay
Nice affordable hotel
This hotel has a great location, walking distance to restaurants, stores and grocery stores. The taxi stand is also nearby and they are always ready to take you anywhere.
Phone and AC and TV didn’t work
The cleaning staff were great. However had numerous problem getting the front desk staff to put us in the room we had requested several times by email and in person. Also, the hotel on its Message Board states that if you stay 15 days or longer you would get a "Surprise"???? So I asked two (2) front desk managers about it and showed them where it was written and both said they knew nothing about even after I showed them in the elevator where it was written!!!! Over the years we have stayed there every-time we visit my wife's sister who lives about 300 meters from the hotel. Stayed 30 June - 7 July 22, 11 - 20 July 22.
Property was adequate. They advertise that there is parking for a fee, but when we got there we were told it was full and we'd have to park on the street if we could find some. If you've ever been to Rome, you'll know this is easier said than done. Breakfast was wonderful. Staff had no patience for questions. Otherwise it was an okay place to stay.
Room too small
Thank you to the front desk!
Had to check in to isolate after a positive PCR. The front desk staff couldn’t have done more, and I’m extremely grateful. A decent enough hotel, plenty to do in the area. Would stay again. Thanks o the great staff again.
A great find!
I just loved staying here. I chose this hotel upon a recommendation from a friend whom I was visiting who also lives in the neighborhood. The hotel room is super pleasant, good size. There is a terrific shopping area immediately in front of the hotel where you can find everything including a taxi stand. There are major stores and supermarkets within walking distance as well.
We stayed 3 times during our three weeks in Italy. Patrick and Giulia were very helpful each of those three times. We asked for an upgrade to a larger room and Patrick ensured that we got the same room each time. Each time we would leave two suitcases in hotel secure room by front desk until our return. After the first trip we came back to find someone had opened a suitcase and stole a $200 pair of my wife's shoes.
Beautiful hotel just outside the city , a great base
Very clean newly renovated room with air conditioning. Good location and airport shuttle.
Nice breakfast buffet, but the single room was pretty bad. Too hot, with no heating controls, the flush didn't work properly on the toilet, extractor fan didn't work at all. The shower got everything in the bathroom soaking wet. The hotel has a gym facility which is one of the reasons for choosing this hotel, but the opening hours of the gym unfortunately didn't allow me to use it.
Good property in a quiet neighborhood. The staff were wonderful. Very friendly and helpful, especially Valentina. She was able to shuffle some rooms around that allowed us to check in early - really early. We came to visit family so we weren't too concerned about location. Having said that, this hotel is the perfect place for travelers looking for something economical off the beaten path that still is only one 30 minute bus ride from St. Peter's.
Small and basic room but clean.
Our room was small and basic but clean. I liked that breakfast was available and fairly good. The staff was not overly friendly but there was a language barrier. It felt further away from the center of Rome than 3 miles because it took at least 15 minutes by taxi to get there. The price was reasonable for what we got.
The location of the hotel is very quiet and friendly. The room is clean but small. Overall it’s nice to stay.
Superb staff very heplful have stayed before ad would do again
Good
Busy residential area. Close to city centre by taxi 15 euros. not by public transport.
very nice an comfortable room. fast check in and good breakfast.
Perfect for business traveller
I stay in this hotel because of the location. The neighbourhood is perfect for a business traveller wanting a nice meal (plenty of restaurants around), a drink (bar has outdoor terrace) and a taxi (taxi stand in front of hotel). Wifi is good and breakfast is an option - but not necessary.
My thoughts
Good location for Congress - however noisy guests above my room and was same for my colleagues - breakfast was very limited - very little fruit, juice was watered and eggs and greasy bacon were terrible
Nice area but too far from city center
The room was clean and of cause, small. The staff was not particularly welcoming but I guess because they are always dealing with groups.
Poor service and far from everything
Our AC was out and they said they couldn't do anything about it. They didn't even offer to switch us rooms. Lucky it was cool outside those days so we slept with the window open
Awful
Awful room - more like an alleyway. One of the beds was a camp bed . AC old and didn't do the job. Staff indifferent- restaurant food disgusting- yesterday's I think. Late arriving due to delays .. left and booked into another hotel next morning. Staff couldn't of cared if we stayed or went. Manager wouldn't even speak to us. Rundown area , mopeds and smart cars zooming/ racing around the square Day and night. Had to give one star to get review up - but it really deserves negative stars.
Nice hotel close to the Olympic stadium
Good hotel, friendly staff, comfortable bed and great AC. Walking distance to the stadium
Looking g forward to next time.
Stay there regularly. Everything up to usual good standard.
1 Night Business Trip.
1 Nights business Trip. Property is basic 3 star property. Friendly English speaking staff. Nice little market across from the hotel for breakfast to get something authentic. Rooms are small and simple but clean. WIFI code only in reception. Phone not working in the room.
Always happy to return!
Very pleasant!
Good value but not convenient for sightseeing. . I was there on business, so ideal. have stayed many times before and recent refurbishment is an improvement.
It was ok. There are access to public transportation if you want to explore the Rome on your own. The room is clean, but no heater or acu though, it gets a little chilly at night
Could do better!
Room was fine, very busy foyer. breakfast pretty sparse unless you like cake! One vending outlet for hot water for tea and coffee. ok but when 50 people are wanting a drink it gets messey!!. No fresh fruit. Limited bread (no rolls or bread to cut just sliced).
Good, but not great. Poor WiFi. Taxi usage.
Good hotel, but not great. Room size was good, with balcony. Nice view. Out of city center. Comfortable enough. Good for relaxing, but need to use taxis to get to and from the city. Not much around hotel area. Door lock was broken. I had to figure a workaround. Bathroom smelled like smoke. Wifi was a joke. I had to go to the lobby to get anything accomplished, and it was still very very slow.
Great hotel for the price close to a bus stop (33)
Bar staff very friendly. Clean and good looking lobby. Bus stop around the corner I believe bus #33 takes you to the Vatican.
Nice hotel, terrible location
Upon arriving at noon I was told I could not have a room until 3, I left my bag with them and returned around 2330- although my room was already paid for they didn't have a room for me. They sent me away in a cab about 30 minutes further out of town to another hotel and told me to come back in the morning. At the other hotel I got upgraded to have breakfast. This meant about one hour of dealing with this. The front desk staffs ability to communicate was lacking. In the morning it took almost 2 hours to get back to Hotel Fleming. I was given a room right away and given free breakfast. The room was clean. Had a balcony, corner shower. The bed was hard but did the job. The heating and AC worked well. The hotel is way ou let of town. 5 minute walk to a bus stop. 30 minute bus ride to the subway stop near St Peters. If I wasn't meeting a tour here I would not recommend it. It's located too far and in a residential area.
Great hotel in rome, close to bus routes.
Not much to say
Close to transportation. Staff could be more friendly and customer oriented. They made us feel we were an interruption instead of the purpose of their job.
If you are willing to take the bus, it is close to the hotel. There is laundry mat around. Do not go for hotel breakfast, you can get cheaper breakfast from the restaurants in front of the hotel. They added 6 euros per head per room plus room charges. You can walk down the Piazza Monteleone, turn left to go down hill on Via Begevana and can find lots of restaurants.
Love staying here
Great stay. Love this hotel! This is the second time here. Situated in a nice quite area. Only a bus away from central rome. Nice rooms, modern and very clean as well.
very good, they let me upgrade my room into one of the suites :)
Don't stay here if you want to sleep at night!
The hotel itself is reasonable, it is out of the city centre but taxis and buses make it easy to get around. However we had two major problems, the first being that the hotel is used by big tour companies so it's really noisy with people coming and going at all hours of the day and night, we couldn't sleep because of the noise for most of our stay. The second problem was the exorbitant charges made by UK.hotels, which we only discovered when we booked an extra night directly with the hotel, we'd been charged double the hotel room rate! We actually moved out of this hotel and booked into an apartment just to get some sleep and save some money!
Rome to remember
The time spent in this lovely establishment would be in my opinion rated very well. With all my personal need address in a prompted and professional manner. Thanks to all the beautiful staff at Hotel Fleming Rome.
Big tour group hotel far from central Rome
I stayed in this hotel as part of a tour and it was a 20 minute, expensive taxi ride from central Rome. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, the continental breakfast was very average. Staff at the desk weren't very helpful when we asked where to go, though luckily we found a bus that took us into the city and our tour bus also took us in. The wi-fi was a very patchy connection and we had to get new login details every day. I was woken on the first night multiple times as other tour groups were knocking on my door and making a lot of noise going through the corridors.
AWESOME STAY!
Me and my best friend stayed at Hotel Fleming after getting kicked off a cruise ship in Rome! The staff was so accommodating- not even to mention we got a great price for a 4-star hotel! The room was very clean and very nice- the bathroom was clean and updated. I have never stayed in a European hotel before but if I ever have the chance to visit Rome again, I will definitely return. The listing says it is 2 miles from Rome, but maybe that is by car- it took us 20-25 minutes to actually get into Rome using public transportation. We did not mind though because the hotel was so nice! I would definitely recommend staying here!
Great!!
Really enjoyable...nice area.
Nasty staff
Everyone is aloof or unconcerned with assisting guests. The hotel is ckean, rooms spartan and breakfast buffet is bread and cake. No fruit. It's also a 15 euro cab ride from most sites.
very good
Very good
perfect
everything is pertect .thank you
Nice hotel
Its a nice hotel for those who want a decent hotel without spending a fortune. We had a room on the 4th floor with a view of the mountains which was lovely. It's a 20 min bus ride from the nearest metro station, Ottaviano (near the vatican city). Only thing that annoyed me was that the "double bed" was just two single mattresses pushed together.
Great hotel location
In such a cute neighborhood, and you really feel the culture. Great staff and service.
bad hotel
I was their for 3 days, far from centre no facilities small rooms ,not even small bottle of water in room, no wirless net work restaurant is also bad defiantly not go again.
all round good value
clean-good service-good location -bar and restaurant------ this the 8thtime we have stayed at hotel FLEMING
Very good enjoyed it
Very enjoyable stay nice staff lunch time buffet could be improved lack of chice
I would definitely recommend!
I was saddened to read the posts of unhappy travelers. I was traveling on my own and had a wonderful experience. I owe most of that to the staff at the hotel. The were incredibly knowledgeable about the surrounding area, use of the public transportation to see the sites and anything I needed help with. The hotel is not located in the center of Rome and if you do your research prior to arriving you will quickly figure that out. It is, however, in a lovely residential area that is a nice escape after seeing the sites and walking all day. One thing I would have liked at the hotel is a spa but did not in anyway hamper my travels. Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Hotel Fleming who made my trip unforgettable!
Regular hotel far from rome
It was regular everything but i wil never recomend this hotel because the breakfast is awful and the beds and matress are as You are in prision!
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I was not greeted by any of the front desk staff on my arrival. The other members of staff were not courteous. A simple hello when I bumped into them at the hall way or reception area would have been greatly appreciated. The television in my room was not working on my arrival and did not get fixed until the morning after. I was amazed that being a 4 star hotel there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. I do recommend other would be guests to stay in this hotel. I would have have had a better customer service in a B&B. A simple hello would have gone a very long way.
good for the price
I enjoyed staying here. Rooms were clean, breakfast was not bad. As for location , it's not as bad as the reviews. Over all I will recommend it.
Dissapointment. 4 star hotel? A joke!
Not worth 4 stars. Reception lady very rude and not helpful at all. Breakfast mediocre. Not a service you expect from a four star hotel! And i am emphasisng the four stars! You have to pay for wifi, you are taxed for being a tourist. No facilities. For me it is a 2 star hotel at the best. Should take away the two stars and lower the prices. I payed 400 pounds for 4 nights and i feel it was a ripoff. Terrible location. Lift takes for ever. Ecerything was bad. Cannot describe it. Dont go to this hotel,!!!,, and DO NOT trust top secret hotels!!
Unfriendly Staff and Inconvenient Location
I would not recommend the Grand Hotel Fleming to anyone traveling to Rome. The hotel is not on the metro line so it is very difficult to get to the center of Rome without taking an expensive taxi ride. The staff of the Grand Hotel Fleming left much more to be desired. Not only were selected staff members rude, but they were also unhelpful. My friend and I took a cab from the airport to the hotel and it cost 70 Euros. I read somewhere (I believe on the hotel's website) that a cab from the airport to the hotel should cost 48 Euros, but that is completely untrue. When I asked one of the hotel employees why my cab ride was so expensive, he literally told me that it was not his problem. The staff also told my friend and I that we could take a bus into the center of Rome. The staff did not tell us that we should buy a ticket before we get on the bus and they did not tell us that the bus would not take us into the center of the city. We literally had to take a cab from the middle of nowhere because of their terrible directions. The internet in the hotel did not work during my entire stay and the staff seemed in no hurry to fix this problem. Since the internet was not working, my friend and I had to pay for internet service at another hotel in Rome. The only positive aspects of my stay at this hotel were hat there was a breakfast included in our overall cost, that there was air conditioning in our room and that the price of the stay was affordable.
Overall, a good hotel for every need.
It was exactly as I expected. No more, no less. The balcony is very big, but you won't be able to see a lot. Still, very pleasant during the warm night. Room was tidy, spotless. Bathroom very clean. I haven't seen members of staff at all. They did not bother us. Breakfast was pretty good.
Pretty good
The hotel was being reonvated when I stayed, and was put in one of the newly finished rooms - very neat and tidy and well presented - comfortable and functional. Breakfast was pretty good, and the hotel for the most part was pretty quiet with the contractors considerately not starting until 8am and then mostly working quietly. Staff were friendly, and overall the hotel was just great.
not impressed
I am not happy with the serice I received. ..very boring breakfast, TV went broken after swiching on. I have not been informed about additional fee during check out ..extra 3 euro per night, nor iron at reception to borrow...I could give just 1,5 star NOT 4!!!!
Quiet good value hotel
Hotel and room clean and tidy. Room was compact and space used to a maximum, as was bathroom, had bath with shower, which was good and made up for the minimal space. Housekeeping excellent, breakfast offered good choice. Reception staff could show more interest, often had to wait while staff talked or did other things. Hotel is about 45 - 60 mins from centre, however reception staff not very helpful or knowledgeable about different options to get into city. Having worked out the best route for ourselves managed to reduce it to under 45 mins with good bus/tram connections. Found quickest route was metro to Flaminioa Piazza del Popolo, no. 2 tram to Mancini, then bus 232.
Close to the gym.
I thibk it was a nice hotel. Good location to gym and only about 15-20 minutes outside downtown with collective transportation. The things that could have been better was the breakfast. More things to choose from, likely healthier alternatives. Fish for example, but it was okay. The cleaning service was great, but not the maintenance of the room.
Great Hotel - get your transport sorted though!
Really enjoyed our stay in Rome. The Hotel was brilliant - only real issue was transport but we got that sorted pretty quickly - if you stay here, the number 32 bus goes almost right to the vatican otherwise the 232 goes to Mancini square where you can get a tram into Popolo where you can walk or take the Metro to anywhere!
I would recommend it.
We were a bit disappointed with a quality of food, especially coffee, not what we expected to get in Italy.
Good price
No Internet have to pay
Rome away from Rome
When I arrived I was expecting it to be closer to the main attraction areas of Rome. It wasn't. The hotel staff's front desk isn't very charming (they're all men, by the way). They're not unfriendly, or rude, just fail to acknowledge their patrons when standing precisely in front of them. The breakfast is the same thing over and over and over and over again. It isn't a bad place at all to spend vacation. Super nice! There are shops, a supermarket at walking distance, and a restaurant. The bus is about 2 blocks away from the hotel. Distance from the hotel to the main attraction area is about 30 min total time (including walking). The hotel is located in a upper-middle neighborhood. Safe to walk at night (though, there isn't much life in the area at night). Don't wanna walk? There are several taxi cabs in front of the hotel. They begin their shift at 5:30am. Have fun in Rome and Italy! I did.
Not as close as you think.
We went to visit Rome and we picked it because it was definitely cheaper than some of the other hotels there. But first, a few issues: 1) Location. It is definitely not close by to Rome. If public transportation is your thing, easily expect a 45-60 min bus ride or a 20-30 taxi ride. Not bad, but might be the biggest standout. After a long tour of walking and just wanting to go and rest, make a pit-stop at a local 'tratorria' and chill for a while. 2) General comfortability. It was definitely clean, but it felt stiff. It felt more like a boarding house, where the staff took care of you, but didn't really care for your comfortability. On the flip side, 1) the breakfast was generally nice and free. A wonderful continental breakfast. 2) Taxis. There were a plethora of taxis waiting to take you wherever you wanted to go. Overall, the hotel was nice and did the job. But next time, we'll check and see what other options we have before we go back to this hotel.
ALL IN ROME
Nice place to stay, although quite far from the historical center. Very good hotel
ideal for peace of mind
I enjoyed my stay. I wud go back but they need 2 have healthy breakfast option.
Grand Hotel Fleming Rome
Grand Hotel Fleming was fine for what we paid, staff courteous and helpful, room clean. That said: 1. It is remote in a very residential area (nice area) far from the end of the metro network 2. When you need a taxi, mostly staff are helpful about this but if they are busy, they say go across the square and press the taxi call button at the taxi stand, which actually does not work (but they are probably not aware of this) 3. They tell you a bus route is just around the corner but they do not tell you that (when the buses are not on strike) you need a Roma pass or a prepay card to get on the bus - I do not think it is because staff want to be unhelpful but probably it never occurs to them to point out such a basic thing (in the same way it would not occur to a resident Londoner to point out that if you do not buy an oyster card you will really pay over the odds to get around) 4. The breakfast is bad: choice was over sweet chewy croissants, some dried cake, processed cheese and sour yoghurt. We missed it the first morning and the cafe next door was good value and pleasant
definitely come back if I will be around this aria.
OK
It's a good deal for the buck. Quite far from the historical center but reachable by bus. We came with our car and it was very easy for us to get everywhere in Rome from the hotel. The only problem was with the parking as across the street there is a flea market and the merchandisers blocked our car in the parking lot. The hotel room was clean apart from a strange looking stain on the bed cover which seemed to move around each part of the bed on daily basis. The continental breakfast was good.
Good value for price, but some problems
Given the average price paid for night, the overall value of the hotel was fine, and staff was also helpful. Transportation takes time, but bus lines are close to hotel and so is not a big problem. However, my one problem was with the strange sounds happening every night since rooms are very bad in sound proof and also I found policemen on one of the mornings in the room next to me, probably something related with the shoutings I heard all the night the night before.
Brilliant Hotel!! Just 10 mins with bus from the Vatican in a very quite neighborhood. The room was with separate living and the breakfast was very nice too. I definitely will go back again next time when i visit Rome!!
The Grand Fleming Hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little small and the television was outdated but there was a balcony with a nice view. I was impressed with the continental breakfast.
Not good for a 4 star hotel. For 2 stars was ok. The reception man was very nice and polite. The rooms a little small and very noisy (we past into two schools.....!) we could not sleep at all. The lady in the bar, was very rood, she does not know how to do her job, that is very bad for the hotel. We have to wait for 20 minutes to come and take orden, from the moment that we called her because, she was playing with her computer. Glasses, services and etc.i n the bar was very very old....not for a 4 star hotel. Location was about 10 minutes from the center by taxi, which cost around 13 euro.
Grand Hotel Fleming in Rome
I have travel a lot, and serously this Hotel is been the worse I have ever stayed in. They have HORRIBLE service, they are not frendly at all the Hotel smell like cigarret smoke all the time, the rooms are extremely small, is located on a really ugly area. I will NEVER stay in this Hotel even if they pay for my trip
good for this price
this is nice big hotel, bit far away from city center but good connected with bus, breakfast was good for this price but coffe was .......... should be better in Italy!!!
Good Hotel...poor service
The holels.com helped me to get a very good rate event though when I arrived to the Hotel the service was really poor. The important point is that the place was really good to going everywhere.
A fantastic bargain
All the reviews of this hotel are compeltely unjust, the only thing I can think of is that it's rated as a four star hotel. It's not, but it's still lovely. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was nice and you could get cheap simple food from the restaurant. The only thing I'd say is brush up on your Italian and learn how to get into the centre before you go, it's difficult to work out once your there and most of the hotel staff don't speak a lot of English. I do recommend this hotel for students especially; it's very affordable and comfortable, and really worth the money.
weekend in Rome
Hotel generally very good, rooms very comfortable and above average for Italy. Some staff excellent and some not! Restaurant ok but nothing special, breakfast good. Location good, not noisy 15euros for taxi into central Rome, walking distance to stadio flaminio and stadio olimpico
Grand Hotel Fleming
For the price I cant fault this hotel. The restaurant is fine with a varied menu, not many English TV channels just CNN and BBC world news. car parking is not the easiest to find and there is a market there which starts at 6 and if your car is in the way they just block it in!!! All in all though I cant really fault it and I would certainly stay there again.
Poor Services & Breakfast
Hotel was a bit out of the way. Have to take a 20 min. bus ride to reach city center. Only way to buy a bus ticket is to find a tobacco store on the main street...can't get one at the hotel and can't get one on the bus...silly system. Services at the hotels were bad. We asked front desk to assist with the safe in our room but no one showed up and we waited for nothing. No maps or guidance for tourists. Breakfast was crappy. 4 waiters stood around every morning at breakfast and did nothing. Poor management overall.
Hotel Grand Fleming in Rome, Italy
The reception staff is very cold and distant. I'm not the client is paying for the services offered by the hotel, they offer services for which you paid. Even if you do not ask in front of "health" drinking help you if you will be asked several times until you provide some information. Breakfast is OK, distance from the center and metro link.
Grand Hotel Fleming leaves a lot to be desired
You cannot check in prior to 3:00pm. Even if your room is ready the front desk will not let you check in one minute early. My wife and I arrived at the hotel at 11:00 am and the front desk made us wait until 3:00 pm. We told then that we had just arrived on a ten hour flight and could they make an exception so we could get some rest, No way! One man and one lady at the front desk were pleasant. One man and one lady were not. These two ignore you until it suits them to addess your needs. The man talks at you or down to you. The bedroom is small (rm 630), two twin beds. The b/room is tiny, you have to step up about 12" to get into the shower which seems aboy 30" square. The show is on a vertical bar and so tight you cannot slide the show up or down the bar. We had a good view from the bedroom and the curtains did a very good job of keeping the room nice and dark at night. Also we did not have any outside noises. Breakfast was good. Selection of cereals, Croissants, cake, rolls, juices and coffee and tea. Nice breakfast room, large and well serviced The hotel is not close to downtown. You need to take a taxi, about 15/20 euros or bus 32 for one euro/person. Bus takes about 25/30 minutes. The hotel is in a residental area. There are coffee shops and restaurants in the area and a market across the road from the hotel. Some of the coffee shops/bakeries are great and inexpensive. The coffee shop across the road (kiddy corner from the hotel) is expensive. The restaurant to the right of the hotel and across the road (uno 2 tre) is good. Inexpensive, english menu, waitress speaks good english and is excellant
Hotel Fleming - quiet safe neighbourhood
Quiet location in a safe neighbourhood. Rome is extremely built up so you are unlikely to get anything with a real spacious feel anywhere in the city or even the outskirts. You will need to get a taxi into town which was around 15 Euros. Twin room was clean and had a secure coded safety deposit box. With signs and warnings even before you go to Rome about general theft and crime rates this hotel felt extremely safe. Clean bathroom although not the most spacious. More than did the job for a City break on a smaller budget. The reception staff left a little to be desired. Stapling bits of paper on one occasion was more important than seeing to a line of 3-4 guests. On another occasion we asked to book a taxi and were shown where the nearby taxi rank was. We had already been standing at that rank waiting for a cab for 15 minutes hence asking them to book one - this was met with a look and sigh that it was far too much effort!! Got back to the hotel at midnight and the bar was closed so no late night tipple available. Not much sights wise around the hotel although there is one park you could see en route to the City with lots of interesting sculptures and some peace and quiet. About 2 miles away from the Olympic Stadium. Generally a pleasant stay and would use the hotel again as a base to see the City - but with friends so as to split the cost of the cabs into town.
Everything is ok
Everything in this hotel is ok. Pls noted that its' location is quite far a little bit from the centre but if you ask people around to know the way to reach the public transportation to get into the center, if seem to be interesting to staying here.
Nice Hotel but...
Nice and clean hotel with excelent and kind hotel staff. Poor breakfast quality for a four stars hotel and very poor public transportation media (only two buses that stop at 00:25) 300 meters from the hotel.
The A.C. in the rooms are NOT suitable for the hot weather of summertime in Rome at all. The hotel does have a very good bartender though.
Grand Hotel Fleming is within reach of direct public transport to the vatican!

The staffs are Italian and very little compassion to your concerns. They don’t care about you. All they care about hotel policies and no flexibility. So if you have a problem don’t rely on the staffs, typical Italian culture and attitude.
