The property was gorgeous. The room was small but that's ok, you're only sleeping there. The staff were friendly & willing to help.

The staff was extremely helpful. The room was clean and quiet. It was small, but not horrible. There was a cute little balcony, however you couldn’t open the door all that wide due to the bed location. The plugs were all under the desk, which wasn’t very convenient, but we made due. There is a small elevator that was great to get luggage up to the room. I did not eat breakfast there, but it looked and smelled good. The front desk was very helpful when giving directions and booked our taxi for us to the airport. The hotel is located very close to Notre Dame and a few metro stops, which made it easy to get around. I’d definitely stay here again.

This hotel felt safe, it was very convenient for everything I wanted to do in Paris, and had all the amenities needed - clean room, bathroom, and place to store bags after checking out. It was a little loud at night like you can hear the hallways quite clearly from in the rooms, but things quieted down by midnight.

Cons-The outlet in the tiny bathroom did not work at all. Housekeeping was very noisy in the mornings. Housekeeping did not replace some items more than once (wash clothes, coffee, shampoo). Pros-Housekeeping staff and desk staff mostly friendly. Good location. Adequate.

El hotel cerca de la estación de Odeon que comunica con todo Paris de forma fácil, en un calle no tan transitada sin ruido. El hotel limpio, me toco una habitación con mucho espacio para ser Paris. El desayuno igual todos los dias pero muy bueno. Las personas que trabajan en el hotel super amables y pendientes de uno. Recomendadisimo.

Amazing staff and location

This hotel was a little gem. The location was amazing, the walk to the Odeon metro was 5 mins. It has an elevator, and offered breakfast. There were lots of great restaurants nearby. The staff were very patient and spoke French with me so I could practice, but the spoke English as well. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Paris!

Amazing Very friendly staff Great breakfast Close to everything

The bathroom was extremely small, and the quality of the linens was disappointing. There were no pillows provided, and the shower’s vinyl curtain was yellowed and looked unclean. Overall, it was not a comfortable stay, and the room felt poorly maintained.

This hotel is in a great location in Paris. The staff are so helpful, courteous and professional. The size of the rooms and bathrooms are superb. This will be our go to hotel for all future travels to Paris.

A wonderful location in the 6th. Very close to the Jardin du Luxembourg and great restaurants and shopping. The hotel room we had was a bit dated and could use some sprucing up but overall a great stay. Good options for breakfast as well.

Great hotel, in a great area

Enjoyed a lovely stay at Grand Hotel des Balcons. We had a family room and it was the most spacious we've ever had. Room was very clean. Staff were all lovely and a great help. Only minor complaint was lack of air conditioning, the fan was ok but room was still very warm, would be difficult in the summer

This hotel is a 10!! The location is absolutely perfect and the size of our room was insane! So spacious for the three of us. Breakfast was lovely as well. If you’re looking for a nice hotel with plenty of space to move around if you have kids with you and want to be walkable to all the things (or the metro) this id the place for you!! Cannot recommend enough.

The property was in a convenient location, however the room was very basic, the washroom smelled of urine (i think it was the shower curtain?), had the smallest lift I've ever seen and the noise in the hallway and other rooms late into the nights made this a very uncomfortable stay.

We stayed five nights here and really enjoyed our stay. It is a short walk to the Luxembourg Garden, Pantheon, cafes, and several train stations. The room itself was a bit small but served its purpose. The room was clean and they even had glassware that you can fill up with free water they provide in the lobby. This was fantastic and much appreciated as you need to pay for water at restaurants, etc. The breakfast was good and had a variety of breakfast options (eggs, bacon, bakery sweets, etc).

Convenient central location. Expect an old building with small rooms but they have done renovations. We had a comfortable stay, not the best hotel experience but an enjoyable and pleasant one.

Love this location. I loved being so close to the Luxembourg Gardens. So many great restaurants near the hotel. My room was delightfully roomy.

The location is close to everything. The staffs are polite. They speak english very well. They served a good breakfast. They gave us the accessible room, although we don't need it. But we loved it because it is huge. They cleaned the room everyday. I would like to recommend this hotel.

Front desk was amazing at all hours! Really helpful with directions and food suggestions.. All speak English and make an effort to get to know you.. They were a pleasure every day… Will use them again when I return in April 2025…

This hotel was wonderful. The room had everything I needed, the staff was helpful and friendly and the breakfast was always excellent. Even though I stayed in August the room was still quite cool thanks to a fan. There were so many restaurants in the area, and the metro, bus and velib(public bicycles) were all less than 5 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel always has the friendliest and helpful staff. The rooms are always clean and it’s in a great part of Paris. This hotel has become my go-to place to stay while in the city.

Delightful stay

We had a very comfortable, easy stay at the hotel. Great location, nice and quiet, very friendly, helpful team. The breakfast is very good value for the selection of food served and the young lady that manages the buffet is very accommodating for my gluten free friend. I would stay there again especially having a lift. The beds are very comfortable and the cleanliness is throughout the property is of a very high level. All the reception team were lovely and very helpful.

We had a wonderful stay . The reception was courteous, friendly and welcoming. The hotel was spotless. Spacious , comfortable room with windows that opened to the street below . The Latin District was perfect with many restaurant choices and walk ability.

very nice and clean but if you want AC then its not for you. they don't have AC only at the reception area. also be careful what you leave out Im missing a ring and don't leave lose coins on the table the cleaning crew assume its for them .. we forget the money on the table twice and both times they took it. good thing I wasn't it much money. I the ring was.

This was a lovely little hotel. Clean, well-locate and with incredibly friendly and helpful staff.

Super location just off the busy streets with all the restaurants and shops. Walkable to everywhere. Subway nearby for longer journeys. Great property with an elevator for upper floors. Quiet at night. Excellent staff, so helpful.

Perfect for exploring

Tucked away on a quiet street with easy access to the Luxembourg Gardens, Odeon Metro station, the numerous restaurants in the Latin Quarter and all of the tempting shopping on Rue de St. Germaine.

For a moderate priced hotel with a single room this was really excellent. Very pleasant decor, comfortable bed, odd shower arrangement (same space as sink and toilet, with only a drain), but it worked well. Only improvement I would suggest is placement of reading light closer to the bed.

Very clean, small rooms, no air conditioning

The hotel is very clean and close to the metro! It is a nice location. Our disappointments were no Air conditioning and the rooms were very tiny. Also we arrived at 7am and they were not able to offer us check in until 1pm, that was hard having been on a red eye. If you need early check in I suggest paying for the night before so you are guaranteed to have a room that early, we wish we had done that as our first day was ruined because of it.

Decent hotel

The staff was wonderful and was very clean! We were expecting air conditioning and there was none. The room was tiny, we were falling over each other. The location was decent. Very close to the metro & restaurants. Any attractions you had to take the metro. Elevator was teeny tiny

Small friendly staff in a great area

Stain on the carpet outside the bathroom door. Dirty mirror in the bathroom. Difficulty with hot water, we ended up calling the desk, when Maintenance knocked, magically the hot water was there. Check in was easy, and the gentleman was very nice.

Nice boutique hotel in an excellent location in the 6th, a 5 minute walk to Luxembourg Gardens, easy transportation options nearby. The staff were excellent. So was the hotel breakfast (not included in my package but worth the 12 euro charge.

Great hotel!

Perfect for families. Good transport links. Great location - safe and friendly. The family room was a good size and there was no street noise. We had a good breakfast, too. The staff are friendly and helpful. The left-luggage was very useful.

The experience was wonderful and very French. The staff was friendly and attentive and the rooms, although small (very typically French), were clean and comfortable. The neighborhood couldn’t have been more perfect, it had everything you could want and yet was very quiet and safe. One odd ball thing of note to US visitors, you will have to be greeted every time you leave and return to the hotel. This sounds strange but you leave your key with the front desk upon exiting and then ask for it back upon return. We got use to it after a while and it wasn’t much of a problem in the end. Overall, everyone in our group was happy with this choice.

Cute and comfortable for a couple

Great location for business and pleasure during our trip. Room cleaned each day and a cute setting in the center of the city in a prime location like this. Will definitely consider for future visits.

Enjoyed our stay here

This hotel is located in the heart of old Paris, close to the Louvre, the Odeon, the Seine, delightful cafes and bakeries and many, many shops. The rooms are small, but adequate and very clean. However if you are claustrophobic don’t use the elevator!

Stayed as a solo traveler. Walkable to trains, 44 min walk to Eifel, desirable neighborhood. Felt like Paris. I loved it. Would def go back if I was to visit Paris. For people complaining about small bathroom it really wasn't that small and there are windows to vent fresh air after a nice hot shower with great water pressure which is something you don't find often in Europe!

A beautiful little hotel, with clean room and bathroom. Great selection daily for breakfast. Staff helpful. But most importantly the local is ideal, within walking distance of Notre-Dame Same and the Sorbonne. Metro station only a 2 min walk away, and mainline station only a 7 min walk away, with a plethora of bus stops close to the hotel too. We will be back! X

Lovely Hotel Brilliantly Located.

Hotel Staff very friendly and the breakfast good for the price paid. The hotel is very clean but as expected in an older building in central Paris the room is going be small along the elevator. It is brilliantly located near the Odeon Metro Station and the RER Luxembourg Station the later providing a direct link into CDG. The Luxembourg Gardens, Pantheon and Notre Dame are all within wondering distances. Would stay again.

Good location , easy access for nearby shopping and restaurants

It located very close to Odeon. Quiet and clean small cute hotel. My room was small but cozy with a view from the balcony. No air conditioning. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The room was well appointed and comfortable. It had everything needed for a pleasant stay. I would definitely stay here again. Everything is walkable. I walked to Notre Dame, to La Marais, Shakespeare and Company, palace of Cite, it's jconvenient, a perfect place to stay. There are lots of restaurants and shopping. Anything you want is at your fi fertips to make your vacation most enjoyable.

The walls are too thin. The doors are improperly cut. THE NOISE is the reason I gave a low score. YOU CAN HEAR YOUR NEIGHBORS COUGH. The cleaners are loud early in the morning.
