Real close to the old city only need more flexibility on the swimming pool time they closed it at 6.pm
I reserved a room for 2 with 2 beds i received a room with one bed .i asked the reception and they said they would send someone to crate a bed out of the sofa and no one came
Nice hotel. Our airconditioning did not work correctly so the room never got below 75°. The TV did not work when we got into the room. I talked to the hotel staff about both problems. They fixed the TV, but even after a maintenance man came to fix the a/c it did not work correctly.
We had 2 connecting rooms for 6 nights. Great hotel in a quiet area. Beautiful large open spaces in hotel with glass windows, plenty of natural light. Large clean guestrooms and quality buffet dining. Helpful staff and great gift shop. Overall great hotel in Jerusalem!
Great hotel, clean, very bright and spacious lobby. Good sized clean rooms. Nice quiet area, nice staff and quality dining buffet.
I stayed at Grand Court from May 18 to May 22nd, 2023, in terms of the pluses. It's spotless. The staff are professional and helpful. It's within walking distance to the old city. Many Bein Gurion Tours also pick up from here, and as a woman travelling alone, that made me feel more secure. I had a vast room and I was not expecting such a large space, and it was affordable. Their bottled water was delicious. I would definitely go back. The gift store in the hotel lists prices in USD which is gonna be convenient for some, but I was on Canadian dollars and just confused by their pricing, if it says $20, they mean 100 shekels. I feel like that should be clearer. Maybe put dual pricing. In terms of the negative. The breakfast and dinner buffets are very meh. It's edible, and some salads are good, but I wouldn't call it delicious, and dinner is VERY expensive. You are probably better off eating elsewhere and there are not a lot of diners nearby. It's also a zoo at the front desk when tours arrive. It seemed like a hotel that mostly caters to organized tours. Also, the pool, which was beautiful, never had a lifeguard on duty. They have a clear sign that says it's forbidden to swim without a lifeguard on duty. Never in my 5 days did I see a lifeguard or anyone in the pool? I have concluded the pool is basically for Instagram and not for swimming. Thus, if swimming is critical to your travel, plan to pick a different hotel. Otherwise, I had an amazing time. I'd consider going back.
We arrived at the property first looking at the outside structure got us excited pretty cool looking once we got inside through the parking garage which is okay because it’s it just for cars no? We got into that small spooky hallway leading into tiny elevator won’t fit anything else if we would have more than those 2 luggages and that elevator only takes you the lobby for check in we got at the front desk an hour early and they still checked us in which is nice but what really got our attention was the outside property features including the smell old floors etc. but why would we care if we can have a nice room right? The front desk were so so definitely not a 4 star hotel we grabbed our key tag looked at it low in behold we got up to the 9th floor wow! And walked around almost the entire floor to get to the room (1 elevator section for entire bldg) opening the room we fled OMG! Really???! Are we in the 80th very very old smelly carpet with old furniture lights are blinking on and we placing our stuff down going to the bathroom we found a very old fashioned bathroom really hard to get into the tub hot water very unstable whichever way you set it. We agreed to stay bc we didn’t have where to go in a last minute change we felt very uncomfortable with the staff on very minimal needs like water etc. oh the bar is closed said that costumer relationship manager sitting at the front door sorry we don’t give water…. Oh wow we are staying in hotel without any service…. Can’t write mor
Friendly staff, very well organized, helpful, they have a large variety for breakfast and tasty.
The hotel nickel and dimmed us over having kids in the room!
Well located hotel. Personnel and service is not prepared for the amount of people they receive. So, you should wait for them to have the time and the willingness to help you.
A really great hotel with class!
We lost an important and precious poster
Grand Court fantastic
Great hotel- really beautiful, room was large, comfortable beds, quiet. Location is great- can walk to the Old City, the light rail, Mamilla mall. Breakfast buffet is amazing. Loved our stay. You need more front desk staff
I was very happy staying at this hotel, beautiful and very clean.
Stayed there before. Will stay again.
Near the places we want to visit
Beyond wonderful stay in Jerusalem. This was a great central location with very helpful staff. Food was excellent as well.
Friendly place in good location.
Beat expectations . Staff very friendly and helpful. Facility and amenities in best shape .
The reception staff service was very poor and unprofessional and a waste of time. The elevators did not work, we went down 8th place on foot several times. Severe parking problems, there was no parking in the hotel car park so I parked on Friday night in front of the hotel and received a report on Saturday morning
It is a beautiful hotel. The beds were awesome. The location is okay, but not great. The morning buffet caters to the locals -- lots of fresh raw fish, vegetables, salads, cheese, and eggs.
Perfect place for the right price
Great location, great staff, amazing room, luxury style and free parking. Amazing breakfast

It was great
Will take my next group there again.
Everything about our stay here was awesome
Great Hotel
Great place, little expensive but nice, morning breakfast Amazing! rooms nice clean sleep like a baby, wife felt comfortable as well. Service- came in late kitchen closed but service desk offered to call up Pizza place for me and they came to check to ensure I received which I had not they called again to make sure I received my meal. Plenty of parking inside hotel parking, short walk to Old City (15 min). Will absolutely stay there again!
Good location and helpful personnel
All good, excellent breakfast, service and location
AMAZING STAY
We stayed for 2 weeks at the hotel. One of our best trips ever, (and we’ve been all around the world.) Every staff we’ve encountered were courteous, friendly, professional, and efficient. From reception, to dining room, to housekeeping, to support staff all were fantastic. The breakfast was unequivocally superb beyond compare. The premises was spotless with constant cleaning staff. Many staff were employed and present with excellent training. The customer feels welcomed and respected. The staff is impeccably trained for customer satisfaction. Amazing time at hotel. Reception staff amazing. Housekeeping amazing! Will definitely stay again, and already told many friends to stay too. Keep up the exceptional and excellent customer service and care!
Close to Damascus gate in old city and close to train stop to travel to downtown new city market and shops
Mr. Ibrahim at the front desk was very nice, courteous and helped with the information if the area. Ameer in cafeteria was very courteous
Where I paid it was written that taxes are included! At the hotel we charged about 100₪ per room (3 rooms) taxes!! Unbelievable.
Nice clean and new hotel big parking space very comfortable room .
Absolutely shocking 'service'. We arrived in the early hours and waited while the Receptionist dealt with a couple. We continued to wait a further ten minutes without ANY acknowledgement whatsoever (such as an apology for the wait or even a greeting of any description). We were simply invisible. We sat down just opposite reception, but in view and waited another five minutes while the Receptionist continued to deal with the same couple. It seemed to be a billing issue. I approached the desk and politely asked if we could check in. The receptionist simply outstretched an open hand without any eye contact. I was taken aback and asked what she needed from me. With a huge sigh she asked for our passports. Having entered the wrong name into the system she said she couldn't find our booking. I pointed this out to her. She gave us our keys then told us we were in the 5th floor and pointed to the lift. Upon entering the room we noticed that we had been allocated a twin room with the beds pushed together. They were not connected in any way - not even with a topper. We called down. Twice the phone was ans rang contin and asked to be moved to a room
I came to breakfast 9:50 and they said closed arady when people was still setting there
Property location is great but the staff, specially in the dinning area are extremely rude and unprofessional. Hotel corridors are dark and walls are dirty. Stayed for a week and they never changed our bed sheets. Food is terrible, the dinner buffet had the same 3 or 4 dishes repeatedly on different row, the set up was done in way it made it look like they had variety but they didn't. It was the same cold, none fresh food from the previous night. It's obvious that the cooks made no effort at all or just didn't know how to cook. Plates were dirty, huge flies on plates or cups and nobody bothers to clean the area. The hotel is big and looks nice on the outside but once you get in and use their services, they are very disappointing. Staff will be on their phone and not even look up when you talk to them, zero customer service skills. They talk about dinners in arabic thinking nobody can understand them and they say awful things using curses. The wait staff looks like they're a bunch of people pulled of the streets and put on uniforms with zero qualifications. Overall I'm very disappointed.
Excelent location. Fantastic breakfasts. Very nice staff.
Not for me.
The room and decor and location were great. This hotel is set up for large group tours. The food service is chaotic and quality mediocre. A few of the staff were very good but by and large they are indifferent to individuals and couples.
Staff was friendly and willing to help, very accommodating. The bathroom and bedroom, although clean, aren't the most updated, a bit of a motel feel.
enjoy clam peaceful
good staff good food clean room
The breakfast met our kosher standards. Its location was ideal for our situation
Grand Court Hotel Jerusalem Review
The whole check in service was a nightmare with hundreds of tour groups all came at the same time. We had to jostle just to be served. There has to be an effective service for group checking in, should be attended to by one guest relations officer. The room was not properly cleaned with such a bad smell coming in the bathroom. NO WATER in the room which is very poor.
About a 10 min walk to Damascus gate from hotel. Buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent. However, staff can be a little abrupt in their English at times, and it is recommended you look at the tourist information centre at Jaffa Gate before booking any trips with the hotel to ensure value for money.
Fantastic Stay!!
Great location, just a block or so from the train service. Also, about a 10 minute walk from the Damascus Gate of the Old City. Breakfast is amazing. The beds are comfortable and the bathroom is a great size. I would 100% stay here again.
Comfortable bed. Great location and breakfast. Easy parking
The property is massive, lots of people everywhere. The room was good sized and quiet, the bed, shower and cleanliness was good. Breakfast is excellent.
The breakfast on saturday was terrible...the water wasnt cold and there was a very limited choise of food...the pool is only 1 meter deep...
They didnt have still water in the rooms and you can get it only during business hours
very good service
Good hospitality and Foods
Hotel is 10-15 min walk to the old city. I was very disappointed with the customer service. None of the front desk people EVER smiled at you, greeted you or made you feel welcomed. The staff makes you feel like you are not important. My husband felt the same way. Do jews not like foreigners?
The hotel is nice. The staff is a bit unresponsive and wouldn't allow our guest kids to swim in the pool with our kids. We walked to the old city about a mile from the hotel through an arab neighborhood to Damascus gate with no issues (thank heavens) but there were animus looks by people in the streets towards jews, something to be aware of,,, It would be nice if Grand Court and the 3 other hotels on the same street offered free open trolley or double bus rides to/from the old city a few times a day for its guests (with tips to drivers,,,
Our hotel room was disgustingly filthy. Hair all over the bathroom, sticky door handles and questionable sheets. The room was facing a very busy highway and the noise was unbearable.
Wet carpet, ugh
The room and bathroom looked nice, but when I stepped to the side of my bed, I was standing in a puddle reaching under the bed. I was only there one night and too tired to deal with it. Nobody was at the front desk in the morning, so I just left my key.
Great hotel
Great hotel, within walking distance to the old city. Only problem the swimming pool was only 1metre deep ideal for children not so good for mature adults. Staff were very polite and helpful. Breakfast and dinner buffet excellent even the fussiest eaters would find something to eat.
GOOD LOCATION FOR A GOOD PRICE
NICE HOTEL, GOOD LOCATION NEXT TO THE CITY CENTER AND THE OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM. NICE STAFF. NOT A FANCY HOTEL BUT NICE AND THE ROOM WAS BIG ENOUGH FOR 3 OF US.
Great hotel close to old city
Walking distance to old city, Great food, swimming pool. Comfy rooms. We enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay there by 1 week instead of moving on.
Hotel within walking distance of the Old City
Hotel served all our needs well, great buffet breakfast. Enjoyed fresh omelettes made to order every day - apart from Shabbat.
Front desk staff is rude. Several Hiccups with our Checkin
Nice overall
Wonderful place to stay , worth the money , nice staff, beautiful pool ,
we came for one night. The receptionist was very nice and courteous. She detailed what the hotel has to offer, we received the room at 12h. It was clean and pleasant, it had a coffee-making system and everything needed in the shower, including a kit for sewing ... The hotel is 3 train stops from the Old Town. The location of the hotel is very good. We enjoyed breakfast and even ate a full dinner, which was not included, but we ordered a reasonable cost. There is also organized parking. No doubt we'll be back.
Check out the new was at 11. When we went for breakfast at 10 they had gone in my room and cleared my stiff even though I had put donotbdusturb sign. The rooms are also outdated. Location is nice. There were nice and helpful people at front desk.
Great experiece!!
Very nice and comfortable I’m there twice a year I love it
Beautiful hotel, comfortable room and facility. I was, however, disappointed that the pool wasn't open during my stay, but as I was told, it was closed for the season, and only open for half of the year.
I got to say the bed and pillows were wonderfully comfortable! Food was delicious. The morning service at the front desk - a couple of women - was much friendlier and prompt than the man who checked us in the evening before.
The hotel would not make any concessions on checkin/checkout times after EL AL canceled our afternoon flight and required us to take a 1 AM flight.
Loved this hotel.
This hotel was great. The staff was most helpful and the food was abundant. We stayed five nights as part of a tour group and then one More night on our own. We would recommend this hotel to any and All travelers. The old Jerusalem with the garden tomb was 15 a 15 Minute walk from the grand court hotel. Loved this place Would go Again. Dana and Jeff
Stay away from the rude staff
I have never encountered such ruse staff - awful
Great hotel on an amazing location
This hotel is on amazing location, walking distance from the Jaffo gate. The people is very friendly, and the beakfast is amazing. It has all the plus, including free parking.
Really good hotel
Hotel is really nice and well located from the old city in jerusalem. Breakfast was included and it’s a nice buffet. Rooms are nice and clean. Internet connection could be better, but I would definitely go back to this one.
Not a great place to stay.
Hotel is well located but unfortunately we didn't have a great experience. We arrived late on Friday and we were starving. We wanted to eat in the restaurant and have a early night. We were told that we couldn't eat there because Friday the restaurant is reserved to Orthodox. We were quite disappointed as we couldn't find a place to eat. When was nearly 10 pm I went back to the reception and told that one of my friends is diabetic and needed to eat. They allowed us to eat in the restaurant. Food was already not in the best condition.
Great hotel in Jerusalem
Hotel staff is nice and helpful. It’s located within 10 min walk from the old city and 3 min walk to the public transportation. Breakfast was included and it offers a variety of food to start the day. Great hotel
Close to the Old city of Jerusalem
Very healthy breakfast and comfortable room although the bed are two single join together but the blanket are stil forl single.. not good for couple.
STAY AWAY
Although the food was okay and the lobby was nice, this was not a pleasant stay. The rooms were filthy and staff did not care at all, all they can tell me was "okay, this is noted". My towels had hair on them, the sheets were never changed, and the hotel refused to do so. The crowd was all tours, extremely unpleasant. The location of the hotel is not isn't great, there's nothing outside the hotel, nowhere to walk to, no town nearby. The windows were paper thin, cold air blows through at night and you can hear everything from outside, please note my room was on the top floor. I was awoken by the call to prayer around 5 am every morning. The staff is not trained and other than a couple nice people are extremely rude and unpleasant.
Must of been a beauty a few years ago.
Nice hotel but it is in need of a remodelling. The staff is very nice, they are always available. Breakfast was very good Great location - only thing some cab drivers had a hard time find the entrance.
Not the best...
Old hotel. Poor breakfast Air con was really loud, hard to have it on and sleep. Pool opens only from 10am-6pm. Hot water takes forever to heat up
Great location and value; wonderful breakfast
Enjoyed the hotel and breakfast. Great staff. Good good good
Good hotel. It I would not rate it as a four start hotel. Hallways did not have air conditioning. Rooms were decent but not four star quality
Great Location
Excellent location. Swimming pool and gym are real bad. Carpets need to be updated. Set up for large travel groups, not so good for individual travelers.
recommended
Great value. Very nice lobby and dining room. Close to the light rail.
A nice hotel
A nice hotel with good facilities and friendly staff
Staff miserable & unhelpful
Room and facilities dated Breakfast was somewhat overwhelming with fellow guests pushing past to the trough. In all my years of travel I have never been confronted with such unhelpful rude staff & bad mannered travellers.
Great stay
I was in a few hotels tru my trip and this hotel was the greatest of everything .I will come back again and send freinds also here
Nice hotel, good location
Arrived at night. Room had no towels at all. I had to request 3 times and 2 hours later I got 2 towels. No washcloth. No handtowels.
Nice Hotel
nice hotel - not very giving - very good location -- 10 minute walk to kotel
Friendly and helpful staff.
Convenient location. Great facilities including free parking, wifi etc.
Great place. some staff members are nicer, some are less. but overall the service is really great! Taxi stand isn't the greatest, drivers choosing and picking rides, eager not to serve, most hotel guest get their rides denied because drivers want better/longer rides. when made the hotel aware - they should ask drivers who take up the taxi line to serve the guests - they told me they don't care about it, they will let any taxi driver hatch at the stand and wouldn't ask them to satisfy guests. I don't have much more to add, but you aren't accepting my review for the strange reason that's its to less so I am adding this line................
A Lite le bit far from the city center and the breakfast always the same thinks no change will be more creative.
Rooms not clean, bad service
I needed sleepers and toothbrush, i called three time asked for it, every time they said its on the way, so i waited for 40 minutes for toothbrush, and they said they dont have toothbrush!!!! What kind of hotel doesn't have toothbrush?!!!
Great hotel with a delicious breakfast!
Great hotel! Awesome breakfast and friendly staff. The beds were hard as a rock but every hotel in Israel seems to have that in common. 8 minute walk to the Garden Tomb.
decent hotel could use better beds in room other then that was decent experiance
At the front desk ,I was most welcomed, the room was clean and comfortable, free parking and delicious breakfast . Very recommended
GC
Great location for a Jerusalem Hotel, it is near the Old City and you can literally be in the center of the attraction within minutes. Everything was easy at this hotel, the staff was congenial and professional. The best part of the hotel was the dining experience, food was great. It was consistent with Israeli and Mediterranean cuisine. The only draw back was the military and police personnel that were pumped in by the groves due to the settlement issue near-by. But as a Police Officer myself and former military serviceman, I get it. No big deal I was not inconvenienced one bit. Everyone I met was friendly and warm.
Nice hotel, local shops around it
The Grand Court is a good hotel, I recommend it but only if you don't have a need for the internet.
Good Hotel, Good Location
The location of the hotel is an easy 5-10 minute walk to Damascus Gate of the Old City. There isn't too much in the way of restaurants immediately close by but many are still within walking distance. There is also a Light Rail Transit just around the corner from the hotel that we used. The area feels safe and you are surrounded by two other large hotels (that may be good or bad). The front desk agents were all pleasant and very helpful but the wait staff at the breakfast buffet was mixed. The wait staff at the dinner buffet seemed more attentive. We had the premium room on the 9th floor, all rooms are the same size unless you move up to a suite. It is a "premium room" because it was at a higher floor away from the noise. The room needs a little updating but otherwise is very comfortable and the washroom was a good size. The housekeeping kept it clean and tidy throughout our stay. The major drawback of this hotel is the number of tour groups that come and go, turnover of guests is very high because of it. So the hotel feels really busy most of the time. The other issue was the Wi-Fi, it was free but very slow. Overall, it is a good hotel at a decent price.
Hotel beautifu, but...
Pro: clean, large, easily accessible to Jerusalems important sits. Staff helpful. Con: wifi weak, no bandwidth. Food horrible. Bed hard.
Heba , at the front desk was extremely friendly and even when many people were checking in and out kept a friendly attitude . Pastor David Natale
Will not go back
Outdated rooms. Not clean.staff Not friendly .
Good location but outdated hotel.
This hotel is outdated. They have old everything, needs to be modernized. Good location but very busy hotel. Store isn't open much, restaurant does not open late nor is there room service after 10pm. They lost my laundry. They would say yes when they didn't even understand the question, please say i don't know or ill ask around for you but don't say yes so we think things are getting done? Plus is free parking and close to trams.
Amazing 5star service,gr8 staff, manager Ronit, was extremely helpful.the location is on East Jerusalem side, but there are always border police staying in hotel.but close to old city and mamilla mall.

Nice big hotel. 3 minutes walk to the light train. Good breakfast. Small pool filled with kids.
