While the place was nice and peaceful. The bed was hard as a rock. Couldn't sleep without waking up in pain due to the hard bed. The little bar was great and what limited food they had due to being off season was good.

Highly recommend this place! It is a beautiful piece of property and the accommodations are second to none

The view of the water from the main road was very pretty. The ground themselves were rather odd. You check in at the only building, that I saw, that actually gave you a view of the water. Then way in the back of the property, in building two, was my room. The whole layout is odd, the grounds around the building was poor and lighting was scarce. I was staying alone and did not feel safe. The room itself had limited windows and felt like it was out of the 70s. I stayed there a total of 30 minutes, then left to find another hotel closer to GPT airport. The whole experience was odd. Definitely do not recommend if you’re a woman traveling alone.

We loved our getaway night here. Only thing is it was very damp in the room with poor ventilation.

No water park

We booked our family trip specifically for the water park. We were never told that the park is closed until March. The room appeared clean but everything inside was damp. Its so weird, as if the room was always humid or something. As soon as you touch the bedspreads they felt moist. It was pretty off putting. I wouldnt go back.

Amazing gem on the Gulf Coast!

The resort is large with several buildings. We followed the signs to the Clubhouse for quick, friendly check-in. The room was spectacularly clean. The bathroom had extra towels, plenty of hot water, and good water pressure. There's an onsite restaurant. We were offered a free drink at the wine bar. We'll definitely be staying there again.

It might be better when completed. Poor lighting, staff was minimal. For the cost and resort upcharge (that we couldn't use! 19.99 per day.)

Lovely Southern Gulf Coast Property

My room was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. I had a lovely view of the plaza and fountain. The AC was easy to operate, and it kept my room at just the right temperature. The hotel is stately and the lobby is well appointed with nice furniture. There is a wine bar, and there are dining times scheduled each day. Some of my favorite restaurants are also close by. Checkin was quick with friendly informative staff. The grounds with all of the lovely buildings and oak trees is awesome! I was there for a personal getaway. However, there are numerous family recreational amenities, with more being added. I also stayed at the Grand Centennial Hotel last year. The only negative observation that I have is that the carpet in my room had some stains and some floor tiles were worn and need attention. My carpet was clean, just stained. I will definitely stay there again! I took lots of photos, but this app isn't allowing me to upload them

What an absolutely stunning property. I loved the history, beauty and charm of this impeccably kept property.

This was a really neat place to stay at. The room was very spacious. You can tell the building is an older building but it is very clean and kept up.

I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was lovely to work with, everything was clean, it was very quiet, and they have many places just a short drive away.

We checked in late, there was no blanket in the room and the air was on 65 degrees. It was freezing outside and we came into a freezing cold room with no blanket available in closet, drawer, or on the bed.

Terrible

Terrible! Room was very very small. No microwave even though ad stated they did. Both nightstand lights were out. The tv service is terrible. Takes for ever to change channels and no guide. It seems like this place was nice but not anymore.

Very quiet, well kept hotel. Friendly staff. Local to several attractions. Facilities are located on a large lot. Plenty of parking and expansions are ongoing for more entertainment.

This place was a real surprise. Beautiful property and very new rooms. Check in was easy, courteous staff. Resort fee of 19.99 seems odd if not using any amenities. Maybe just increase the price instead of a separate fee. Price was a bargain and very close to airport.

Everything is so good and beautiful

Hotel was very nice and quiet. Waterpark and pool are closed for the season and some renovations are still in progress. But overall we enjoyed our stay. Everyone was very nice and enjoyed the wine grill.

The elevators where broken during our stay at times. We had to walk down 9 flights of stairs.

Clean hotel and well decorated. Could use a little improvement with air filters being changed and the showers needed a good scrubbing.

My first visit to Grand Centennial, and I will return if I have occasion to be back in the area. The on-site Oasis Grill is not conveniently located to Building 2 at Grand Centennial.

Super pretty hotel with a rich historical aspect. Great breakfast and wonderful staff! Really enjoyed our stay!

Not so good but ok.

Once we checked in the first room that was assigned to me was not clean and had an unpleasant odor. The manager was able to move my party to a second room was somewhat cleaner than the first room. Also, sometime in the morning hours of 10/8, a blue liquid was sprayed all over my car causing heavy water spots that had to be professionally buffed out to be removed. The blue liquid looked and smelled a lot like the blue water used in porta-potties. It looked like someone was attempting to dump the blue liquid in the storm drain of the parking lot of building number 2.

Best place to stay. We stay 7 times a year. Looking forward to our next stay.

LSU signed items and lots of purple and gold in the lobby and rooms but very tastefully done.

Would be nice if front desk would let guests know that making up the room is done upon request and not automatically done on a daily basis. I came back every evening to my room only to find out that it was not done.

The resort is nice but for pool access you get teo passes and have to spend 45.00 per extra passes and the only thing open was the lazy river. Slides closed. No microwaves in room

This is really the only hotel I prefer to stay at. Next I won’t be staying here because with this previous stay I was put in an unclean room and also there was no ice maker in Building 1.

Fun pool

My granddaughter always likes to stay at this hotel when we are on the coast for any reason! The pool is great and she loves the water slides. The hotel is very nice and I stay here even when my granddaughter isn’t with me!

I really like the lazy river

Check in was in a separate building, no staff in the hotel. Felt abandoned. Quiet though. Charged a resort fee of 21 dollars that was not made clear when reserving , apparently they charge you an additional fee for the inconvenience of checking in to a completely separate building. I will never stay here again.

This place is amazing! The staff is incredible, kind, trustworthy, polite, thoughtful, and dedicated. The location is perfect, there's things you can walk too or just a short drive away, excellent location. I just can't say enough about the amazing staff... they go outta their way to meet your every need or request.

Would not recommend

This hotel itself is beautiful. Myself and spouse stayed here before and were very impressed. This time upon arrival we were told that our room had been canceled due to a $180 deposit not being paid. This was not communicated through hotels.com. We were under the impression that the full amount would be due upon arrival. The receptionist came off rude and dry. Our room had visible stains on the floor and our fridge was missing. We were then moved to another room and the shower was disgusting, still stains on the floor and the chair and foot rest. Even the sheets had a few stains. My husband stated that he had to get rid of one of the fresh towels hanging due to something on them. We were in town for an event but would not choose to come back here or recommend as a comfortable place to stay in the future.

Great pool area for kids.

We had a fantastic time! With all the amenities on site there's really no reason to leave the grounds except maybe to go across the street to the beach! My daughter loved the water park!

Oasis resort is the best!

Love coming to the oasis resort, this was our second year. Pool area is lots of fun with options for all ages. Poolside bar and oasis grille could use some more employees, long waits for everything. The rooms are big and clean, theres a pretty fountain with coloeful lights to relax by in the evening. Overall, love this place!

We have been to this location 3 times & plan to be back. Beautiful grounds, great pool area with slides & lazy river. The grill is great. I love the overall area.

Really nice property for families.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times. It is on a large property, quiet, and safe. I choose to stay here because the hotel wine bar offers a light supper and as a solo woman traveler, I do then not need to drive around an unfamiliar city looking for somewhere to eat in the evening. Not this time. Not only was the wine bar closed, but the clerks at check in were unaware( one told me, “This ismthe first that I have heard of it.”). One clerk made a call, only to tell me, “There’s no bar tender.” I pointed out that for the price I was paying $$$ that was not my problem, and that if an amenity is offered, it should be honored, particularly as the wine bar is advertised on the in room menu as well as on a large poster in the lobby of the hotel. If I must pay a resort fee for amenities, I expect them to be available. Given all the hotels along the Mississippi Gulf Coast, I will stay elsewhere enxt time.

The grandkids always have a great time here and so do we. We went on a Monday-Wednesday so it was especially quiet.

Carpet had stains in it staples sticking up out of it empty soda can wedged on the side of the fridge but everything else was good

The property is overall very clean. Everything is very accessible without being overcrowded. The rooms however need updating. The carpet in our room was stained and dirty. Quiet hour starts at 10pm however all night doors were slamming so we didn’t get any sleep the second night. Too pricey for the accommodations we received. The water park on grounds is outstanding.

Our overall stay was great!!! The only thing was missing, there was not one microwave in our building to rewarm your food. Other than that, I would recommend this as a great family, group, or couples getaway!!!

The entire place was a disaster. I would love to speak with someone on your staff about my experience. I have already set a complaint with American Express.

Weekend getaway with my wife The only complaint was there is a sign that says no one under 21 allowed at the pool bar and there many kids sitting at the pool bar, wish that would have been different

Beautiful property great location

The Centennial Plaza is a gated resort nestled within a grove of majestic old oak trees with a beautiful lighted fountain in the middle. You can literally walk across the street and be on the beach. The Oasis resort is also on the same property. There is a very nice lazy river, pool, kiddie pool, several water slides and a kids water park on site as well available to anyone staying at either resort. Two restaurants are also onsite as well as a wine bar and swim up bar at the lazy river. A snack bar where you can order a pizza, sodas, bottled water. It was super quiet and really clean. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are ever in Gulfport.

Loved this place. So convenient for everything, friendly people everywhere. No lockers for pool area, but we had no problem leaving stuff out on chairs.

We absolutely love this place. The rooms are super nice, the pool for our 2 year old is perfect, short walk to beach, the food is amazing. Love Love Love this place.

Vacation on the 4th of July 2024 at the Centennial

Our stay was awesome. The grounds were manicured and the Grand Centennial Hotel was very, very clean. Staff was pleasant and accommodating in the hotel as well as in the pool area. We have been here several times and have witnessed the property grow with additional amenities. The food at the Oasis was good and in a convenient location. I do like the addition of the Sweet Shack. This visit there were some changes with check-in moving to the front building and in previous stays, there was a breakfast offered every morning in our location which was only offered on the weekend. I did miss having coffee & breakfast in the building. Back to check-in - we did experience a wait time which could be solved with additional personnel. Overall, my experience was wonderful. We did travel with 4 couples and did take advantage of the lobby when the Wine bar was open. The lobby of the GCH was very clean and decor is updated and nicely done. I look forward to staying there again next year. Well done!

Our room was not cleaned to my standard. There was left over m&m’s on the carpet . Stain on bedding , also ottoman was completely stained

This is our go to place every summer. So beautiful pool is great for all.

Fantastic place. Water park great especially for kids. Quiet, A/C in room and buildings working great. Maid service on time and everything replaced daily. The only negative was the carpet needed cleaning from normal use stains . Will go again.

Bathroom in our room is dirty with hair and needs mopped. Gave us wrong room keys had to go back. The beach is wonderful and very close. Beautiful property
