Awesome place

It was an amazing stay, very accomodating, friendly and helpful staff, bilingual staff, the cleaning was top notch. We were amazed by the palace, it's modern, well located and comfortable.

Si me vuelvo a quedar

The staff were friendly and the decor of the hotel and room were as described. The prices was even better. This was my first time to N.L. and I definitely would return.

Free breakfast was pretty bad

Clean, safe, quiet, well-maintained, modern-looking hotel, near to shopping district. WiFi this time was convenient and worked well. The breakfast is good and makes the price effectively quite competitive. The cheapest rooms don't have windows, which can be a plus or a minus to some guests.

Property is not ethical. I had 2 nights paid through expedia and they charged when I arrived. I would not recommend staying here for this reason, they are unethical and will scam you. La propiedad no es ética. Pagué 2 noches a través de Expedia y me cobraron el precio completo por las 2 noches que estuve allí. Pensé que era una tarifa de resort, pero en realidad era el precio completo. Así que nos cobraron dos veces y nos dijeron que lo resolviéramos con Expedia. No recomendaría quedarse aquí por este motivo, no son éticos y lo estafarán.

Ok in general

I was surprised that I lost the card and they charged me $200 pesos. At any hotel I has been charged for an extra card. The food of the breakfast was some greasy

Felt very safe, Room was clean. the only thing I did not like was the step up into the restroom. I jammed my toe trying to get in there.

I wouldn't really call it a hotel, it is one floor in another building. Clean, friendly staff, but no windows and terrible area.

The property is fine. I would suggest that they consider changing the breakfast hours. Currently breakfast is from 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM.

When I reserved this room it said that breakfast was included and when we arrived to the breakfast area. They were charging for the breakfast.

This property is comfortable. The staff are usually very nice. The cleanliness is always acceptable.

Very relaxing stay. Quiet room. The staff are very friendly & professional. The breakfast is super convenient. I’d recommend this place, & I’d definitely stay again. This is my go to when in NL, MX.

The man working at the front desk was very rude. The room was spacious and could have been nice but there were a few items in the room that needed some attention. The bedding was either dirty or stained. One of the faucets in the bathroom was only a trickle of water. There was no hot water in the shower. I was charged a security deposit when I checked in that has not been refunded yet.

This property was clean, the staff were nice, & it was very quiet. The surrounding area however is blighted & unsightly. The online reviews are somewhat misleading. This is in no was a five star hotel nor does it compare. It is no different than the average U.S. motel. The daily buffet is okay, it doesn’t vary much, & the room guide says you can take your food, but you cannot. There are Di Di drivers nearby as well as taxis, but there isn’t much within walking distance. The area doesn’t really have sidewalks or crosswalks so plan to walk in the street. Overall I’d go back as this property itself was acceptable. I was a bit jaded at the fact that Expedia took my discover card for the reservation, but upon arrival, my discover wasn’t accepted. Additionally I was required to leave a deposit for snacks that were in the room; this wasn’t part of the deal. Overall I’d recommend, it’s just not a five star hotel as described.

Very nice room. Incredible customer service. Secure parking. Located on the 3rd floor of a building but worth the climb as the elevator was not working. Great value. Recommended

Bed bugs

Reserved room just to get some sleep to continue on the road... I arrived to shower and sleep around 1am...soon after I hit the bed I started itching and getting rashes on my body... I was so annoyed I couldn't get any sleep ..couldn't wait for daylight to just get out of there... Told the front desk and they said they were fumigating... I not the person to complain but I had to continue on my way on the road feeling sleepy and risking an accident.. I suffered from itchiness all-day until I had an opportunity to take a shower elsewhere... I still have bumps on my skin that still itch.. .. was just a waste of money and still suffering the consequences

salon upstairs

stayed a night there was a Quinceanera party going on upstairs so alot of noise ..hard time falling asleep with all the noise ..parking was small since they have stores around the hotel but it was a nice hotel , had some issues but got help with it ....the breakfast was suburb may i say ...there working on a restaurant so got room service ... would stay again but farther away from the upstairs salon. But if you plan on renting salon it would be convenient on renting rooms down stairs at hotel.

A Dazzling Jewel

I stayed at this hotel on my way north to the USA, then again on my return home in Jalisco. It is a rare jewel in a tarnished crown . A boutique hotel with beautiful rich fixtures providing and unsuspected elegance. In addition, Daniel at the front desk is courteous and very helpful. He is friendly and outgoing with a smile that is warm and genuine. You will feel very welcome during your stay. Be sure to reserve online for the best price.

I don’t know who is writing these reviews. Maybe the hotel staff? This hotel was funky. We found bedbugs in the sheets and towels. The location looks like a bomb went off. It felt dangerous. No one spoke English. Very disappointing to say the least.

Not a seemingly good neighborhood but this hotel was a jewel within. Elegant well appointed, modern, and clean.

Exceptional Staff... I found the accommodation exceeded my expectation.

The elevator was not working the whole weekend, have a bad knee and had trouble going up 3 flights of stairs that I even took a fall but they could careless as to how they responded when I told them about it.

The photos were deceiving. The place was difficult to find and when we did the hotel turned out to be in a strip mall, about 4 story building in a bad area. When we parked a car stopped right in back of us and would not let us leave. When he moved, we drove away and stayed somewhere else. Very scary experience. Lost money but have life. Never again.

It was awesome! My wife really enjoyed it, she recommended that we stay at this hotel again!

We stayed 2 nights. The first night, there was someone who was talking on their phone in the hall way The people up front showed sincere concern and apologized. The next night, they gave us a room located in a quieter spot. This did solve the problem. The rooms were very clean and value for money was excellent. I would say the entire staff, (including the breakfast servers), went the extra mile. I will stay here again next time.

The receptionist was very kind. It was late at night and she tried her best to take care of us. The first thing we noticed was a large cockroach crawling on the wall above the bed, (of course, by wife took the other bed), however, in checking beneath the pillows, there were more roaches. We killed at least 6 or 7 but were too tired to complain and I doubt another room would have been any better

It’s very nicely remodeled everyone is very friendly.

When I arrived at the hotel I could not find the reception desk. After much walking around I discovered that it’s on the third floor. They couldn’t process my credit card for some reason, so I didn’t stay I left

Very clean and price is awesome, however our restroom door was on one side off the hinges, we reported it nobody came, parking is limited and breakfast is super basic. Its cheap but expect fancy decor, also super clean was A

Second Floor Lobby

The lobby entrance is on the second floor. It was a very nice place to stay. The room was very clean, spacious, with micro and small Refrigerator. It has a very modern decor and beautiful contemporary large bird paintings in all the hallways.

It was great! 3rd time staying here and will be back again. Only thing this time was that the elevator was not working.

Even though there may be more expensive hotels, this is my favorite hotel in all of Nuevo Laredo. It is very clean, very modern, well-run, and affordable. The beds are comfortable and linens perfectly white and clean. The basic rooms are quite nice with everything needed for a short stay, including a refrigerator. WiFi is excellent, although one has to be entering a new access code daily, which is irritating. The hotel is secure, as everyone must walk by the front desk and there are security cameras in all hallways. The parking lot in front in small and open to whomever to go there, but I think there have been no problems there. I park there. Supposedly there is enclosed parking behind, which may be more secure. The included breakfast is excellent with good service and a beautiful setting. The more fancy rooms have windows, fireplaces, and receiving areas, etc. Very comfortable and still affordable. The scenery through windows is acceptable. The Holiday Inn Express, in contrast, has beautiful scenery. The staff from the reception staff to the maintenance people to the cleaning staff are all great and friendly. They seem to be very aware of who is in the hotel and remember me upon sight. The location is very far from El Centro and the US embassy, but convenient to some of the poorer barrios. Really a lovely place in the middle of a dirty and dangerous city.

Unsafe neighborhood

Unfortunately, I never got the chance to find out about your hotel. I arrived with my husband, but when he saw the neighborhood and the kind of people that were walking around outside, he wouldn't let me go inside. I (an American) would have been staying alone as he (a Mexican) was leaving on business. He said the area was too dangerous. I wound up staying at another hotel near the international bridge.

Very well maintained property. Each room seems brand new. Staff are well trained, responsive, and observant. All staff to have a good attitude. The beds are nice, wifi works reliably, etc.s Generally the price on Expedia is competitive. The location isn't the greatest and the parking makes me worry a little, but, as far as I know, nothing bad has ever happened in the area or with parked cars. The staff do not monitor who goes in and on well enough.

Breakfast wasn't that good, and the area is too secluded not a good area.

Very unprofessional

Beautiful rooms only thing is that they open doors without giving you enough time to answer or say something, they knock open the door quick and caught my partner and myself naked very very unprofessional, very unorganized. Never going back.

The rooms are spacious & comfortable. They are beautifully decorated and clean.

rooms and staff are excellent. everything works and looks perfect. helpful and professional staff. has refrig, AC, good wireless, etc. breakfast is excellent and has a nice setting. rooms smell nice, as smoking ever occurred in the rooms. its a little of a pain to sign onto the wifi with a code each day. there are no safes in the rooms. there isn't a kitchenette nor allowed to cook in the rooms. not a great looking area but not unsafe, I think, and no restaurants etc are close, other than OXXO very far from the bridge into the USA. I stay here nearly every visit.

Even though the outside might not look like a regular hotel or as fancy I really like this hotel,the inside is super clean, modern and nice staff very attentive and helpful.

The only thing I didn’t like was that they didn’t clean my room the second day so we didnt have clean towels or toilet paper and the first the room Was cleaned but the trash was not taken out

Hotel room was reasonably clean.

checked in but no chair, phone was not working, trash can was not there. But the room was clean. Breakfast place was not clean and breakfast was not attractive. 4-5 menu items in spanish and people had trouble speaking English. They need to thoroughly clean the breakfast place and the kitchen. Have a breakfast buffet with some good items. Despite requesting three times I was not provided chair to sit in room and phone was never fixed. Just do not care customer requests.

Excellent place. Really excellent, especially at its competitive price. For this price class, it is the best. And, I think, in Nuevo Laredo proper, maybe the best property. The other--more expensive ones--are also good. These rooms are modern and perfectly maintained. The staff are very responsible and happy and helpful. They remember my name and are aware of everything--maybe too much so. Kind. The place is a quiet place for families and buisness people, I guess--I never hear them nor interact with them. The beds are quite comfortable. The shower works perfectly with hot water good. Soaps are provided. The TV and wireless and AC all are good. The desk is convenient. Plenty of outlets for electronics, The refrig is very useful and in perfect condition. Everything seems completely new, even if it may be older. The only missing item, really, is an in-room safe. including some USB charging things in the outlet plates. It is a pain to sign onto the internet once per day, but only a slight inconvenience getting the code and logging in. The breakfast is excellent. Made to order in a restaurant next door. The location is in a small shopping center that hardly has anything useful to a traveler. There is a convenience store close by. Not too far a walk to banks and supermarkets, but not much really close, except a very cheap hotel across the road. I think it's not an unsafe area but not a pretty area and I'm not sure I would really walk around late at night.
