Very nice
Great value
Overall, good experience. It was a little noisy, since there was a bar right next door. We were given the handicap room, so the bathroom was a little funky for us who do not need it to be accessible.
We enjoyed our visit
Nice place, Don't go for the views
This place is lovely but in the middle of a massive holiday home trailer park a mile walk from town. The photo is aimed up so you cant see that.
GREAT STAY!
Fantastic stay. Staff were brilliant and as we couldn’t get a taxi the manager gave us a lift into town. The entertainment in the evening was top class also.
Wasn’t able to get to stay in this hotel as my booking was missed by the staff which meant that the hotel was overbooked and me and my partner, who was celebrating her birthday, had to find last minute replacement which was as you can imagine extremely stressful and put a huge dent in our holiday.
Loved the Golflinks!
Our 4 nights here were terrific! Accommodations were fresh and comfortable. Food was great. Location ideal for us.
Excellent stay in the Shane Lowry suite overlooking the Links! Heated bathroom tile floors was a pleasant surprise! Great hotel and bar.
Had a lovely large bright room spotlessly clean. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast served tastily. Hotel ideally situated for sightseeing the beautiful Antrim coast and all it has to offer. Portrush golf club is across the road and the town and beautiful beach is within walking distance. Had sunshine all the way. It was my first visit to the hotel and Portrush and I will be back.
Mid week stop over
Hotel was of a high spec with a nice view over the golf course.
Worth a visit
Very clean and modern. Excellent breakfast. Free parking at the door. Kids play park and chippy onsite an added bonus
Very friendly staff at front desk and accommodating due to our travel delays.. Room was lovely and breakfast omelets were made to order and smoked trout was brilliant.
we stayed Sunday night. Impossible to get taxi either in or out of town.
Great hotel lovely and clean comfy beds and very helpful staff, short walk into portrush
Room was clean and had nice amenities but super small which we could have just thought that all the rooms happened to be small but not so as my brother and his wife’s room was more than double the size of ours at the same price. There needs to be another price level for the smaller rooms as it is drastically different. Happy with it in other respect but couldn’t move around it and had to use the bed as a place to open up our suitcases.
Very enjoyable stay. All staff very welcoming and friendly and food was 10/10. We will definitely be returning.
First time staying.
Had a great wkend staying at Golflinks Hotel. All staff were super friendly. Great food and great atmosphere. Will definitely stay again..
Very nice room
The best thing about this hotel is the lovely staff. Negatives for us was the room was very small and you could hear all that was happening outside the room. I got soup for lunch when we arrived and it was far too creamy. There was an issue with broken glass on our room floor when we arrived and it was obvious that it hadnt been vacuumed, this was swiftly and professionally dealt with by reception and management. There was also quite a bit of mould in the shower which would just need a bit more attention from cleaning staff also. Location of the hotel, the staff and bar were all good. I would stay again
Could be better
Check in was very friendly but room was at the back of the hotel with only a small window which was locked adding to our problem of being far too hot. Air conditioning would only go down to 19 and we had an uncomfortable night. Carpet was stained in places. Breakfast was good.
The place to stay in Portrush!
As soon as we arrived, the staff were extremely welcoming and kind. They were so friendly and helpful with everything. If you are in the area, look no further than here! Will 100% be staying here again when we return!
Beautiful, affordable, and bear so many fun activities!
Lovely hotel with a great location, we received a wonderful welcome, room well equipped and had everything I needed. Food was excellent.
Nice decor, clean room & super comfortable bed. Nothing nearby but great place to stay. Staff very helpful & with a ready to please attitude.
It was lovely no view and put at back of hotel not sure if thats because useing a free night
The redevelopment of the downstairs area looks really well but it looks like they’ve taken their eye of the ball with the accommodation. The housekeeping standards seem to have slipped.
THE COMFIEST BED EVER
What a wonderful hotel. From the second we arrived to the moment we left everything was outstanding. Ryan was especially helpful and friendly. The beds are THE MOST COMFORTABLE beds ever. Having stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years with work I have to say we will definitely be coming back again.
Cleanliness could have been payed more attention to before check-in. Quiet room with a night club next door.
Nice rooms and intertainment was good
Very modern looking facility both in & outside. Spacious lobby and lots of dining options. Stair & lift available; to access room floors, your room key card opened the lift doors and the door to access floor 2. Decor was suited to the golfing theme. Loved the very modern bathroom with heated floor. Room was cosy, too small for even a double bed, barely 2 feet on either side of the bed, 10x10 sq ft at most. Considering I had booked well in advance, I would have thought we would have gotten a better room, with better views (we got the back of the property and the top of the roof). Seems as if certain rooms may be reserved for Expedia users. Overall, average, not worth the hype or the cost.
Excellent Hotel.room was really spacious and comfortable.staff were so friendly and helpful.food was excellent.. definitely highly recommend.
Staff was amazing and I’ve nothing bad to say at all!
Excellent hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very difficult to fault it at all.
Clean!
Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Free transport into the habour in the evening as taxis are hard to get. The only thing I could fault is the heating/air-conditioning was very confusing and no instructions.
Great stay.
My husband and had a lovely break. The hotel room was spotless. The reception area was currently being renovated, when it is completed it will be more appealing. Good value for money.
On booking, the hotel website had no availability, but I was able to book through Expedia, at an extra cost. At check in I was told that because I had booked through a 3rd party website breakfast was not included and it would cost £10 extra per person, having already paid £140, and thought breakfast was included. I think that was a bit much
Excellent service and staff
Everyyhing was excellent room very comfortable, fòod breakfast excellent and staff very helpful
Nice, clean hotel. It was umder constuction while i was there. The woman at the desk at check in was helpful and friendly.
Understaffed...had to search into the kitchen to find someone to check us in. Guestroom/guest bathroom light and fan switches and HVAC tough to figure out.
Well worth a stay!
Great place to stay. Got a free upgrade. Clean and comfortable hotel with great customer service.
Best Food in Town! This hotel was cosy and homely. The food in the restaurant was excellent - huge servings and cheap - £17 for two courses. Staff were extra friendly. Room was a little small (Very narrow) and no desk/dressing table bathroom didn't have much space around the sink for storage etc. Overall a lovely hotel and worth a stay.
Lovely Modern Hotel
We have stayed here twice now in the last 4 months, overall I loved the hotel, it was comfy, cosy and had all you needed. The only problem was that the first night there was a drain/pipe above our room and it made a noise the whole night, the second night the fire alarm went off at nearly mid night for about 30 seconds and the room next door shouted and what sounded like moving furniture across a wooden floor for a good while after that. If it hasn't of been for these reasons it would have been 5/5
We will be back
We will come back! A lovely hotel, a tiny bit out of town but not far to walk, rooms are lovely and modern, we really enjoyed it.
On arrival we got a lovely surprise in that we were upgraded to a suite. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant which was very good value and the staff could not have been nicer. After a very comfortable nights sleep we had a very enjoyable breakfast with the same great level of service
Beautiful Rooms
The hotel room was beautiful, very clean and modern. We stayed on the second floor room 16.
Awful Customer Service and NOT family friendly
This hotel is not family friendly at all. First morning at breakfast kids offered crunchy nut, special K or porridge as a cereal. We asked had they anything else the reply way “just what I told you”. Second morning we bought cereal and brought it with us. We spend the Friday night eating in the restaurant which was very nice and food was lovely. On the Saturday two of us and a 15 year old went down to the bar to get a drink whilst the girls got ready and watch the football which they had showing. When we arrived we were told to go to the public bar which we did to be told no under 18 allowed. We went back to reception and proceeded towards the library bar where the football was on TV and not one person in there. We were told it’s for donning only. We explained we only wanted a drink whilst the girls got ready and they were adamant we only allowed if we have food. We told them their public bar doesn’t allow under 18 to which the security guard said nothing he could do and we needed to order food as the tables are for the public and we said we are staying in the hotel. This security guy was rude and very authoritarian. My friend turned to his 15 year old son and said come on sun we will spend our money elsewhere. The security guard then said don’t need to take that attitude with me. We stopped at reception and asked to make a complaint and the poor reception girl looked confused and said she didn’t know about complaints and gave us a business card and email in to it.

Great Hotel
It is a great hotel and would highly recommend it, especially if you plan on golfing at the Royal Portrush. The food is very good as is the service. Can't think of a better place to stay in this area of Northern Ireland.
