The place was amazing, the size, the views, very private, quiet and fully equipped with everything we needed.

Love everything about this place! Very stylish accommodation but also able to bring my dog with us who was made very welcome - even provided a towel and drinking bowl! Gorgeous beachfront location!

Wonderful accommodation, Do not miss if you get it

Fantastic spot, as the name says, it is Golden Sand Beachfront accommodation, easy parking, no hassles, no one mucking around, you are there on the beach, have a glass of wine, enjoy the water, go on the beach. Very close to small super market, Bottle store, day to day leisure needs. Cleanliness is top notch, spacious, tidy, upmarket room. Host is very nice and helpful. Will love to stay there again.

Great service, comfy and clean

It was advertised as Luxury accommodation. Maybe for the two Honeymoon suites. I know it is advertised as a bach experience, but our room, apart from the bathroom, was average. Nothing that a lick of paint wouldn't fix and some new furniture and furnishings. So much could be done to make this "Luxury" accommodation. The position was excellent, right on the beach and private. Staff very helpful as I needed a late checkout. On the whole great but could be so much better.

Perfect location almost on the water's edge. A large unit very well equipped except what we would consider a basic, a box of tissues, was not supplied. The inside was very clean. We would have liked to have been greeted by the management at some point during our stay, not just a sign telling us which was our unit.

Completely beachfront, Seaview Modern clean and comfortable accommodation

This was an extraordinary stay. The pictures don't do it justice, definitely have to see it to believe type scenario. Thanks a lot!!

Would have preferred the unit to be at least partly serviced on a daily basis, not pleasant to come back to the trash still sitting on the counter in a bag all packed up and ready to go.... Nice place, great view, no check in just do it yourself, very casual..

Our hosts were very accommodating. Special little extras such as a sandwich board out the front of the unit welcoming us to the Golden Sands, then a little tray of home baking on the bench, very special touch. Accommodation was perfect, and what a position right on the beach. Weather was superb even in the middle of winter. Shuttle service was brilliant picked us up from the motel and took us into Manganui, then picked us up on our return to the motel, couldnt get a better service than that. We will definately stay again at the Golden Sand Beachfront Accommodation and would highly recommend the Golden Sand Beachfront Accommodation. Thank you Ed and Shona

On the beach, modern and clean. Great swimming beach, golden sands.

WOW..what a location...that in itself is worth the price...you are literally on the beach...to go to sleep with the sound of the surf is very relaxing.... Well appointed rooms and a strong wifi connection add up to a great place to stay..

The property is in an excellent position across the lane to the beach. Beach is just stunning.

Idyllic..step out of your room onto the sand

Lovely Stay..idyllic location..loved the checkin..name on a placard pointing to your room and keys inside, could not be more relaxed and informal. Owner checked in on us in the morning. Whole experience relaxing and refreshing..wished we could have stayed longer!

Very cosy batch feel. Was very relaxing.

Cosy batch right on the batch. TV is a little small but wasn't a worry as I spent most of my time relaxing on the couch looking out at the beach! Highly recommended!

Great location

Ideal for an overnight when doing business in Kaitaia, with an early morning walk along the beach thrown in.

Ok, but lots of noise from next door unit. Washing machine and dryer were a good bonus.

Simply stunning!

Incredible accommodation. Absolute beach-front. Even the terrible weather wasn't enough to dampen our stay (sorry, awful pun!). We were able to watch the waves crashing from the comfort of the sofa and catch up on some netflix. We've already been recommending to everyone we know.

Wonderful beach side apartment

This is a wonderful well equipped beach side apartment. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The shower is amazing and the bathroom is excellent with a heated towel rail. But seating in the deck chair on the front decking watching the sun move slowly across the sky and the waves breaking on the beach is a little piece of heaven. Definitely recommend staying here.

A hidden gem of great cut clarity colour n carat

Found this little gem on Hotels.com and it was a surprise. A bit hard to find but it was right on the water front with golden sand. perfect view and very friendly hosts. Even had breakfast and dinners with them. Love it and thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

Beachfront wonder

Right outside a pristine beautiful beach. The kids really loved the playground, playing on the beach and waking up to the sound of lapping waves. Also very lovely hosts in Rosemary & Brian, who set up a very big welcome board just for us. Will be back!

BEST STAY AT CABLE BAY

We stayed one night in a studio right by the beach. It was so lovely hearing the sound of the waves at night. Our room was ultra modern and large with a separate dressing area and super large bathroom !)and modern conveniences (the shower had the best pressure). Everything was immaculate a credit to the owners. Would definitely stay here again and again and again.

Amazing beach front location, loved it!!!

My wife and I stayed for one night in September and loved the apartment, loved the beach front location, everything was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfy, also the hosts were really friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed for longer! Highly recommend and if we ever pass by again this is where we would stay.
