Everything seemed well and good. The only thing I would request is some pillow toppers for the bed, they were a little springy on the back

exactly what we needed

Place was clean and appeared to be well maintained. Breakfast was great as well. Priced good. Staff are friendly, but didnt explain things well and arent in uniform like I would expect. Had to call front desk to get instructions for the tv (suggest a sheet in the room explaining) after I had to unplug and replug in the phone line to get the room phone to work

Great hotel!

I was unable to get home due to the storm. Booked this hotel as it was reasonably priced and had heard positive things. The front staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable.

Very nice

Second time staying here in the last six months. Staff allowed me to check-in early which was greatly appreciated. Clean and quiet, perfect for my business trip.

We’re happy with everything the Service cleanliness friendliness. Breakfast was good. Stay there definitely again.

This is a wonderful place. We will return. Great staff from front desk to housekeeping. Always friendly and accommodating. If you want a decent place to stay with great prices, this is it. And the breakfast ..very good.

I paid for a room with two queen beds for 4 adults and was given a 1 bedroom I was dissatisfied with the fact that they think that 4 adults can sleep in one bed, and when I was given a room with 2 bed it had hair in the bed and the tv was broken and the internet sucks.

Need to have all information updated on the app. Booked weeks in advance and travelled from out of town for a jacuzzi room as it is 1 of 2 options for a jacuzzi room in the whole city. I even checked off that i was bringing a small dog. When i showed up, i had to stay in a generic room because of my dog. It isnt a nice hotel to just hang out in so we spent extra money trying to entertain ourselves because the whole point of our trip was the jacuzzi. I could have paid an extra fee for an exception.

Short stay

There were very few travellers staying there. Elevator was out of service, it appeared everyone was staying on main floor. We also didn’t have a tv with cable. It said, “weak or no signal.” Would have been nice with a six and three year old. Breakfast was very good!!

Stay was nice. Older rooms. Floors seems damp. Room was very clean abd quiet. Did not like that i was not able to have my complimentary breakfast in my room. Travelling with a service animal this made it difficult.

Super sketchy area, people lurking in the parking lot. Rude staff, do not recommend this place at all. Save your money and stay un a different nicer safer area

We booked for family suite and when we came in, the elevator wasn't working, the washroom has a bad smell and there is black dirty water coming out from the bath tub, the sink was full of water. Then, they let us moved to a smaller room in the 3rd flr. The front desk were awesome, gave us free cot. They should check each and every room before letting the guess entered.

Staff was extremely friendly

For the money we paid we got a nice clean, comfortable, quiet room for the night. The bed was good the shower was great and the free breakfast was good with adequate selection. The staff was also efficient and friendly.

We needed a room to overnight for a wedding. It was what we needed. Clean, comfy, good breakfast. The elevator was out of order at the time of our visit. However, be prepared to pay a $300 damage deposit that you get back at checkout if your room isn't damaged. We are bookedchere again in September.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was adequate and quiet and the breakfast was good. There was an unfortunate water leak however we were immediately offered another room.

Needs maintenance

The room was clean and perfect. We were not expecting it to be as nice was it was. Unfortunately the elevator was out of commission. Something that should have been taken care of in less than 24 hours but wasn’t a priority clearly. Had to carry out bags to the 3rs floor. Otherwise I would stay here again.

Room was clean and nice. Breakfast was delicious. Elevator was broken, so we had to carry heavy luggage up the stairs.

Let’s start with the positive - the bed was really comfy, the staff was friendly, and the room was clean. Now for the negative - the elevator was broken, the room was outdated/had an odd smell (a candle improved the odor), the shower curtain rod needed to be replaced/fixed (it was bent and the curtain kept sliding to the middle so the bathroom was flooded every time you used it. I

Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room

This hotel was very clean, the staff was lovely and the breakfast area was clean and well appointed, adequate supplies and seating. Minor inconvenience is that the elevator is currently down, but there are first floor rooms to accomodate anyone with mobility issues. The whole areas smells a bit like the oil refinery but that’s all across Lloyd and not unique to this property. Check in and out was a smooth, quick process.

Room was clean and fresh. Staff at the desk were kind and respectful. Definitely stay here again.

We loved this place it’s nice and quiet, we have a large dog with us. The staff are so accommodating, helpful and friendly during our stay. Definitely recommended and will book again the next time we’re travelling that way.

No receipt at checkout provided

According to your website if I choose to pay at the hotel, they will provide a receipt to me when I checkout. They refused to provide a receipt to me when I checked out because "I booked through a 3rd party". It was a business trip and I require my receipt so I can claim the travel expense.

The service was great.

Very very outdated and needs some renovations. Room had an old furniture smell to it that was overwhelming. Very overpriced for that condition

Security for premises very good

Golden Circle Inn was kind of our last choice for our stay in Lloydminster because all the hotels were fully booked for the dates we were in town. The hotel itself is standard. The receptionist at the front desk was very kind and welcoming. The first room we were in, the sink had plumbing issues. It would not drain at all. Front desk sent someone up to try to fix the issue but to no luck. Maintenance would arrive around 10-10:30pm but because we had an early start the next day I said that would be too late for us. We were then moved to another room. This room was good at first. But in the morning when we took a shower, even with the shower curtain fully closed we came out of the shower with a puddle on the floor. Not sure where the water came from. Notified the front desk upon checkout. The staff were wonderful and nice.

Overall good experience

The bedroom was clean but outdated. Some of the linens were stained even though freshly laundered. Walls/floors not very sound proof as demonstrated by someone at 630am.

Fantastic staff

The room was clean however we did have problems with the tv even after we were given another remote. The volume control did not work. The room was small for it being a family room. It was a nice stay ! The kids enjoyed it so I m happy. 😃

The lady I spoke to on the phone the day of my booking was extremely rude and unreasonable. I think her name was Dilpreet or something like that. The rest of the staff was friendly and nice. Breakfast was gross, not even edible. Coffee is weak. The hotel is very dated and they should upgrade a little bit to charge those prices. The tub was all stained and looked gross.

We had the suite with jacuzzi tub, and it was great! Lots of area in the room, and it was clean with a nice bed. Also very friendly staff and big breakfast to go with it! We will be back!

Expectations Exceeded

I have never stayed the night in Lloydminster before so I was unsure where to stay. A bit run down. But for the price, this hotel was great. You get what you pay for. I read the reviews and this hotel definitely listens to customer feedback. Most of the complaints I read about were not an issue in my room. I did notice that one of the towels was stained and ripped. But I am one person. Didn’t need both towels anyway. The breakfast was good. I would also give 5 gold stars to the gentleman who checked me in. He was so friendly and polite. I was also unsure of my hotel choice. He eliminated my concerns and cracked jokes with me. All the staff I encountered during my stay were amazing and friendly. But this guy is memorable. I will definitely be back.

Good price, friendly staff, rooms were well equipped, air conditioning worked and excellent showers. It is along a major highway with a long line up of hotels that are easy to access but not in a very walkable area.

Good price for what you get - a basic hotel room with what you need for one night with a fairly decent breakfast.,

Excellent Hotel

Good price, was a quick stop!

When I checked in the front of the house staff was exceptional in accommodating me. The guest on my floor were very noisy... Several small children playing and crying late into the evening. This is not the hotels fault. Just something I thought I may point out.

The place is starting to look run down. The bedding that is ruined should be replaced with new ones. The breakfast options were limited. Some varieties of muffins, bagels, yogurt would be nice. Also only syrup was available for waffles. Where is the topping selection??? Overall the place was okay but not sure if I will return there next time I’m in town.
