Staff walked into my room without knocking to announcing they’d be entering. No toiletries.

Their booking reservation is not reliable, i booked for queen size bed but they told its twin only not queen, then i showed up to them my booking and when they looked at it, they said no available room instead they gave us a handicapped room. Towels are very old and looks like very dirty.

Best place I’ve stayed in while I was in the Philippines. I will be staying there again. I wish I had more nights there honestly. It’s amazing and very affordable and the staff are fantastic.

The room and bathroom was clean but the sheets and towels were shabby, thin and old which used to be white but were greyish due to old condition. Breakfast was small portion and just soso. Otherwise staff wrre very polite and welcoming.

The hotel was located in a great area for things to do. Many restaurants to choose from. The hotel restaurant was good also. Good selection of dishes. The staff was great, cooperative and accommodating. The price was terrific. Cleanliness was an issue. I realize that staff was short and our room was bypassed a few times for straightening up and clean towels. Also i realize that this is a tropical climate but the management should invest in a monthly extermination program to eliminate creepy crawly pests in the room. All in all our stay was good.

If this was Standard room, I shudder to think what a sub-Standard room is like. Here are the issues I had with this place: Shower height in the room is shoulder height. You have to bend down to wash your hair and I'm only 5'9" tall. Water flask is in the room, but no water. You have to go outside the room to the water cooler near the elevator, fill up and go back in. Pity help you if you forget your key in the power receptacle. There was no shampoo or soap in the room and I had to call down for them to be delivered. That took about 10 minutes, and arrived when I was calling again to follow up my request. There was no notepaper in the room, no pen, no TV guide, and no restaurant/room service menu. The TV remote did not work, and the guy who came to the room didn't seem to understand what was failing to work properly. Eventually he supplied a separate remote for the tuner box with fresh batteries. There is 1 key for the door which is also used to enable the complete electrical power to the room. As a result, there is no power at all to charge phone & computer or run the aircon when you leave. I returned 3 hours later to an dead phone and a 33° room. Aircon made a whining or singing noise all night after running for about half an hour. I turned it of to let it cool down (or whatever the issue was), restarted and the noise came back on again after a while. Result was very poor sleep, broken, and no deep sleep. No cupboard to hang clothes up.

Overall the property is good and provide us a spacious room even it is for PWD the only problem no wardrobe or any hanger to hang the clothes especially if you going to stay long days or week

Review of Go Hotels in Lanang

The good points is that the hotel grounds is big and spacious, big hallway and wide staircase. There is separate toilet and shower. The not so good point is the elevator is too small, there is no space for table or work space in the room so you have to do your work from the bed. Also, the wifi in go hotels davao is not so secure and open to hacking so need to be careful. If you are staying for only a few days, it should be fine.

My go to place in Davao

Clean and comfortable. Nice room. The in hotel restaurant was a bit overpriced and the food wasn't great. Fortunately there were a couple of other restaurants just outside the hotel that were better. SM mall is less than a mile away too. For the price Go Hotel is a great place to stay. I stayed 12 nights.

Cafe/Restaurant on site. Restaurants within 50m of hotel. Security guards are very helpful and so are the staff. If driving, petrol station located close by.

I didn't like anything. I prepaid fifteen nights and moved out after one night. They refused to refund my money. How do you like that for business ethics? The room was tiny. Four walls, no closet, no drawers, no shelves, no fridge. My two medium size suit cases were open on the floor. No amenities in the room. A horrible experience. I travel extensively worldwide. An honest rating for that hotel is one star.

Worse stay in Davao

Cockroaches were everywhere. Hairstrands and yellow stains are all over the bathroom floor. Towels are almos in gray color. Room was not soundproofed and AC was not working properly.

the go hotel experience was very good. The price was great. The hotel staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you. The room itself was compact and comfortable. It was clean with plenty of hot water. Air conditioning was quiet and worked well. It is located in a block that has some 8 to 10 restaurants whithin the hotel perimeter. As to cleanliness. Overall it was ok ! If I was picky I would say that an extra 5 minutes cleaning would bring the standard up to A1. Yes, as mentioned on another site, there was a few spots of mould around the sink area. The cleaning staff are a little remiss in this area. In summary, a great experience, great front office staff and the price is excellent. I would recommend this hotel 100%.

Very convenient location and good for overnight stay.

Enjoyed my overnight stay in Go Hotels in Davao except that there was a delay during check in because the lone staff at the counter had to prioritized those checking out, which took time.

Decent Hotel Close to the Airport

A basic hotel room, the Lanang Mall close by, plenty of other restaurants too, and not far from the airport. Not much in the room, a perfect hotel to crash before a flight the next day. The Wi-Fi was not particularly fast. There were not much in the way of amenities in the hotel either, a restaurant, and a spa, but overpriced you can find plenty of spas nearby for half the price. All and all, it was a good stay, probably would not stay here long term, but if you're returning from outside of Davao, and need a place to stay overnight before catching a flight, this hotel easily fits the bill.

So disappointing that our hotel room has no glass available for their customers. However, it was requested but wasn't provided at all, as per the staff we need to wait until there's available glass! Also, another option given, I need to borrow my self to their restaurant but there's an extra surcharge for a "glass"! How cool is that?

Filipino Chain Hotel in Davao is a "GO"!

This Filipino chain hotel is par with similar 2 star chain hotels in the USA. It features humongous rooms, an exceptionally nice restaurant attached to it and an outstanding massage spa on site. The spa charges very reasonable rates. Fitness centres are nearby, along with plentiful transport, a fantastic combo package store/coffee bar and a very impressive shopping mall. All of these facilities are easy walking distance from the hotel. Unfortunately, there are some issues. Housekeeping is uneven. Eating inside a guestroom is expressly forbidden, incurring a heavy fine by violators. A deposit is demanded for "incidentals." Despite the excellent, attached restaurant, breakfast is NOT included. Regardless of these comparatively minor issues, this hotel is a must to consider for any budget minded traveler who seeks decent lodging in a nice environment when visiting Davao (or any other Filipino city that has GO Hotels). During a transition from Southeastern Mindinao to North Central Mindinao after our stay, I was very stupid in not returning here. A very good lesson learned. Grade: B.

Nice but I think they should have used darker tiles for the toilet as there are some hard to remove grime that can be seen. Also the compartmentalized toilet is great for family bookings I guess but not so great for solo travelers. Lots of great food options though and in the heart of Davao (relatively near the malls and business centers). I don't mind staying here again if my usual option isn't available.

A great home away from home

Location is fantastic. It’s very near from SM City Lanang - Davao wherein you can buy anything you need. It’s also close to the city center, where you can buy freshly harvested fruits like durian, pomelo, banana, mangosteen, etc. Service crew are polite and courteous. Rooms are generally clean, though some of the towels in our room are not quite well washed, but you can always ask to have it replaced. They conduct daily housekeeping but its only up to 5:00pm so be sure to leave your “make my room” signage outside your door before you go to your itinerary for the day.

I booked 2 nights. First night, I killed 1 cockroach, and 3 mosquitoes. I mentioned this to the front desk personnel the next day. I politely asked her to let the housekeeping make my room and spray Baygon (multi-insect killer). When I got back that night, my bed was made, fresh towels were hung outside bathroom hanger. However, the floor was not sweep or mop. The cockroach that I smashed on my first night in the hotel was still on the floor and saw couple of mosquitoes flying. I called the front desk and told her about my complaints. Minutes later 10-15mins or so, I called again to follow up. She was kind enough to transfer me to another room. The shower room and bathroom needs to be bleach or whatever it takes to remove the golden water residue.

Very accessible place to stay

As always, Go Hotels ,Davao is a condusive place to stay. It is located in a very accessible area in Lanang, with restaurants, entertainments, spa are just within the vicinity. The staff also are very accomodating ( even the security guard ). The place is clean. The aircon is functioning well. We will always recommend Go Hotesl to our friends who will be visiting Davao City.
