Aircon stopped working in the middle of the night.

If only they can change the beddings that are obviously aged more than a decade or two, it would be a more pleasant stay because the management should know well that a good night’s sleep is the utmost priority to guests. All the facilities in this resort show signs of aging but you can feel that the maintenance team has worked tirelessly to make sure all the old items still function well - and yes they do, amazingly, especially the A/C. With that being said plus the competitive pricing which includes a spacious apartment, sufficient local breakfast buffet and unbeatable sea view with the sound of the waves because the resort is really right by the beach, I think this resort can definitely serve the visitors better in the future with possible renovation that takes place little by little. Good luck!

Safe and clean

This is not my first time and will not be the last time. Will come again and again because the resort have white sandy beach, easy access to the beach and suitable for children. Pool also kids friendly. Breakfast: average. Restaurant a bit crowd especially during public holidays but food is enough coz staff always top up the dishes. One suggestions for breakfast, please add on porridge in the menu. Travel with infant/kids, but there is no porridge serve during breakfast. Very disappointing. Overall, i am satisfied with my stay and will come again next time. Eventhough the furniture is quite old but the rooms is spacious and i am happy with my stay.

Everything is fine

Accommodation at Glory Beach Resort is comfortable and good, everything is okay complete with various activities.Only the service is a little lacking, the service from the employees is satisfactory.There are only a few plugs in the hotel that can be used.In my opinion, the service and electrical tools used by customers should be improved

English family honest review

The hotel was like a prison. Gated doors in very scary and what seemed unsafe building blocks. Doors didnt lock properly and nor did the windows. It was in the middle of nowhere and eaxh front door had like prison gates. I did not feel secure so left and lost my money and stayed somewhere else. The room was horrendous and we was very shocked by the state of the place. Rat droppings all over balcony. Honest this place does not represent the photos at all. Save your money and a holiday from hell.

We booked 4 units, all had issues from Aircond to bathroom issues, however maintenance staff resolved most issues, now during peak the lifts are always full... car park also tough to find during peak season.. breakfast was just ok. Thing I hated is the rubbish bins at the stairs which were forced to take when lifts are to slow... other than that the stay was ok for the price

Surrounding not so clean. The surrounding wasn't up to my expectations because there was litter all over the place. I was surprised as this is places of attraction for tourist. The food also was horrible

Very bad experience. Dirty floor，noisy and not verycold aircond. Bad condition bed. Overall horrible，if you prefer ghost house you can try it out. This is the first time i have this experience in my life.

Avoid like the plague!

The Glory Beach Resort is disgusting, so bad that I left within an hour of checking in. The only redeeming thing was that they refunded my money without a hassle. The beach was littered and had no chairs or umbrellas. The pool had cloudy water, obviously dirty, and also no chairs or umbrellas. The room itself was nondescript, and the bathroom floor was awash with dirty water. No towels. Just not a good place at all.

Not much privacy. The room is not sound proof. Still can hear the noise coming out from the room next door.

great short vacay for family

the overall accommodation is very excellent with a nice scenery of the sunset..the breakfast buffet was also very pleasing with lots of option to choose, from local cuisine to western and my favourite part that they serve salad also..thank you for the great and pleasing stay at your resort..i will come back for sure..

The resort was nice because near to the beach..the pool have to many people and dificult me to swim..breakfast just nice..my pillow was smelly like 10 years old and water heater in the toilet very old and not work properly..overall the resort just ok

We stay in a 3 bedrooms apartment, it has 2 bathrooms and a pantry, with simple furniture but furniture are a bit old, very spacious. Nice view, facing pool and sea but because of that, a bit noisy as many kids play at pool from early morning.

Too many people yet facilities limited. Have to come on normal working days instead of public holidays.

Poorly maintain accommodation

Run down place. I continue to sneeze throughout my stay in the room to show the level of hygiene in the room. The petting zoo at the hotel poorly maintain and some of the staff did not know about the activity run by the hotel.. Such as a shame for good location. The area itself is great

Old, terrible and bad service hotel

This hotel is the worst one I have ever stayed. They didn’t allow us to check in after 6pm however, they have 24 hours front desk. If later than 6 PM, check in need to notice ahead. However, they never replied customer email. I sent many emails to asking about the room booking issue, none of them got reply ... also sent message to them asking for late check-in after 6 pm.. didn’t reply as well. Only replied around midnight when we already landed in Malaysia and didn’t do any special arrangement for us. We needed to find our way to ask one of our friend arriving before 6 pm to get the room key. Furthermore, In the room, no toilet flush , sink blocked, hair found in shower area, no hair dryer and wanna call housekeeping for that ... the telephone was disconnected.. didn’t work, water dripping from air conditioner, ants found in kitchen n living room as well, strange smell in room. Food there is awful, rice is cold and hard, many fly on the food. This hotel looks very big withfacilities eg swimming pool and gym etc ...the pool is ok, however, gym room is super small. Everything here is not clean and very old. Some staff don’t understand English, cannot have clear communication. Definitely will not go back for this hotel.

Avoid at all costs - There are better hotels near

This place looks great in photos. You can tell that 30 years ago this was the place to come. It has a nostalgia that is reminiscent of somewhere James Bond would stay in the 60's. THAT WAS THEN. Staff are rude and discourteous -No greeting, no smile, just carried on talking amongst themselves. I then stood by the desk waiting to be acknowledged, eventually I was. Only to discover that I was being checked in by the newest member of staff with the poorest English skills. I wouldn't have minded that - if a more experienced, better English speaking guy wasn't standing there the whole time doing very little. what a welcome. No directions to room no info on Breakfast. Walked to the block I was in and after 15 mins of search I found the lift. My 15 min search took me around the block fully. Something from a horror film: mattresses and furniture everywhere. Dark alleys with open doors leading to even darker rooms. An ancient, dirty lift. Room was a not as bad as expected but the bar had been set pretty low!! Old beds, old kettle and sink. Bathroom - shower and toilet where the same room. Balcony door broken with sharp glass edge exposed. Wifi very poor. Musty room smell (hadn't been stayed in for ages). Breakfast was awful - again no politeness from staff - barely speak to guests - no dialogue at all. I'm really not a fussy person and I have never checked out early in my life. I did this time. Positives - Its very close to the beach and there was a nice view from the balcony.

I'm feeling much happy during holiday but a bit disappointed regarding on room cleanliness and room air cond. Firstly, i'm feel much of sand particle all around the room and air cond in the bed room was not cool as set. Please take action on both issues as mentioned above.

The location of the resort is very good however the service and cleanliness is not good at all. They also took my things such as laptop, drinks and other equipment during my stay and their reason was that they thought I have checked out. It is not logical reason otherwise they would call me to give me my properties and not to wait until I report it. I am really sad

The room was some dirty and found toilet got few smoke smell but air corn was very good.cool and nice view from room windows.

OVERPRICED and not worth your money

-the decoration is outdated -the bathroom is disgusting -unpleasant smell -the bed sheets and pillow cases are dirty -the smaller bedroom is very hot -the breakfast choices are extremely limited -the food are tasteless -the petting zoo wasn't open throughout our stay -the petting zoo isn't properly maintained -it was more of a bunny prison than a petting zoo

I will suggest this hotel to my friends

It is a pleasant stay over there. Lots of parking space. But since I went there during school holidays, the pool is quite pack with people. The breakfast served is also presentable.

Short vacay at Glory Beach resort

Pros: Nice holiday, kids enjoyed the swimming pool but it's too crowded due to school holiday even on weekday. Breakfast was ok. Our seaview apartment was at level 11 & it's very nice & windy. Free wifi in the room & public area. Cons: Room cleanliness ~ sandy bed. Fridge & iron were very old & need to change.

2 star Apartment

Low reception wifi. I would rated it 2 star apartment. Not a hotel or resort.

The room has a nice sea view and quite clean. The staff are friendly too.

I stayed here after a 2 day flight delay because it showed that it was actually closer to KLIA than heading back into KL. I hadn't been to Port Dickson yet so I thought a few days relaxing by the pool & beach would be a nice change of pace. While it may technically be a few kms closer to KLIA, the cost and availability of a grab or Uber is actually more than the cost of the room. Good value, attentive service, decent breakfast, nice large pool, but spotty wifi and definitely more of hotel for locals than a tourist beach resort.

Older structure needs maintenance/furniture upgrad

Large complex of buildings, all in need of much better maintenance, especially bathroom fixtures and furniture. These items are old, leaking, not draining properly, and bed mattresses are worn out, living room furniture is worn out, chair seats are totally sagging. The staff is most polite, but unfortunately their best intentions cannot overcome such poor state of maintenance. Cafe terrace buffet is wonderful, but birds are not kept away, which really makes for a disruptive brunch. Also noticed a rat or two scurrying around the F&B areas during bkfst and supper - most disappointing. Recommend to probably avoid this resort until management cleans out rodents and replaces dismal furniture and plumbing. Finally, WiFi was sporadic and unstable due to poor location of single wireless router positioned too far away from most rooms. Unable to use WiFi reliably at all in rooms, had to use lobby or cafe areas.

Low budget beach from hotel in PD

They seemed to obviously be short handed as they couldn't provide room service. Pool was cloudy. Breakfast was basic and wasn't to great either. Room floors were dusty/sandy. Toilet sinks were leaking straight to the floor. Beds were sufdicientlt comfortable and air-conditioning was in good working condition. Overall it's you get what you pay for.

The spacious 2-bedroom apartment. The big pool for children. The big eating space for breakfast. BUTBUT The front staff were not friendly.I even asked them to puta smile on their face. The property is old. Could do with some rehabilitation. The bathrooms and kitchen plus furniture need attention. The restaurant could do with better food.More variety of food, please!

Comfortable Stay

I booked 2 unit apartment at glory beach resort with every unit have 3 bedroom. Its was comfortable and manageable even though its a public holiday and Christmas eve but the staff still can manage the crowd. Their service was excellent. Value for money. Breakfast can consider ok but may be can add more and variety food. Overall I can say that Glory Beach Resort is a strategic, comfort and valuable stay. Definitely will come back and stay here.

Swimming at the pool and beach are good activity.

This is a very good hotel with a very good location. My kids enjoy the pool very much as they are not too strict with the dressing requirement in the pool. So, I can wear my track suit and my daughter also enjoy it.

Dissapointing with 2 bedroom apartment

Old furniture, bathroom leaking and only one aircond in the room. at night very hot in the room. aircond not really function. B'fast also not good as before. last year i stay in the 3 bedroom apartment the room is ok. Bfast also not bad. But this year its really disappointing me.

The front office staff were very welcoming and friendly so were the staff in charge of breakfast cos when i went for breakfast the place was very crowded i guess cos of the school holidays so i decided to come back but the staff at the entrance found for me a table for two -very accomodating indeed.

Glory Beach

Staff did not have a smile in them, building was really run down and lights along the corridors were not working making it really dim and dark. Guests lifts were used to transport rubbish. Lifts do not come with keycard security function, i.e. anyone can access the floors. Doors in the room cannot be closed fully and require a certain amount of strength to close/open it. Rooms were normal standard clean. Wifi is limited to only 2 devices and information was not easy to obtain in this hotel.

The room is good and suitable for family.

Outside and inside

Don't be fooled by the lovely exterior of these buildings. The interior was in poor condition, the furniture was weathered and uncomfortable, and the washroom was very substandard. However, the staff were pleasant and accommodating, and the food was decent fare.

Pay for what you get.

Glory Beach was not all that glorious. A resort that seems to have seen better days but with some investment could be put right. Bathrooms were grotty, air con outside bedroom window was really noisy and navigating the corridors and pathways was confusing and hazard ridden. Staff were okay but not that engaging. So, if you have to stay in Port Dickson (which is not a recommendation) then the Glory Beach is okay, but only just....

Dreadful outdated aparthotel.

Well to be honest, we was very disappointed with our stay for the price we paid. We have been on a three month trip in Asia and our buget for a night stay was around €25-€30 where we stayed very comfortably in other hotels. This was the worst hotel we stayed in our entire trip, completely out dated and unclean..... a left over from the 80's. We could not use the swimming pool unless you were clothed so a burka from head to toe which of course is fine for a Malay but not for a Euopean. The location is far away from Port Dickson itself so you will have to drive to get anywhere of interest. So as a European client, I would not recommend this hotel, so be warned.

- no towel provided - asked from room service only after 3 hours they send it - no tv remote control - no curtain at their kitchen's window - people that walk through our house may see us from kitchen. I used their towel to covered it. - booked for 2 queen beds & 1 single, but given 5 single beds. - furniture and other facilities are old. need to replace especially water kettle because it rusted and may cause danger to users. - water pressure very slow - paid for 5 person, but given only 2 bottles of mineral waters.

I've been here more than 10 times with different booking provider. Pool was huge and my childrens like it so much. Seaview from our unit was awesome. The room need to be improved especially in the bathroom, no water hose near the toilet bowl. Bed was very bad condition an almost broken.
