We enjoyed our stay at Glockenhof Zürich. Location is a plus as coop supermarket is just next to the hotel . Many restaurants nearby.

Great location, 5 star customer service, friendly staff, modern and clean hotel. Just be aware that the images show an indoor soft play area for children and also an outdoor space with play equipment. These facilities are sadly not available at the hotel. We were kindly shown a family room, in case we wanted to move into one, but we were already unpacked and half way through our stay. Other than this, great hotel, cannot fault it!

Fantastic hotel with an incredibly convenient location! It’s close to all the main attractions and easy to access public transport, making it perfect for exploring the area. Highly recommended for anyone looking for both comfort and convenience during their stay.

I would love to be able to give a five star review. This hotel was clean, perfect location, lovely staff, and a beautiful garden courtyard. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and especially the breakfast. Unfortunately, our visit was soured when we noticed after we left that our rental car was badly scratched by the valet parking. We had come directly from the airport so there is no other explanation for the deep scratches.

The staff here were very welcoming, even gifting our kids some small soft toys on our arrival. The room was clean and ideal for our needs. The hotel is in a great location - walkable from the train station and then from it you can reach the lake within 15 mins

Overly priced! Room is not nice at all and small. Not worth the price. Although the locations is good and very close to everything. Front desk did not communicated that breakfast was included until we asked after the 3rd day so we missed the first few days.

Hotel Glockenhof is a lovely hotel right off the Bahnhofstr and within easy walking distance of the train station and the old town. The hotel itself is old but has been beautifully updated. My companion and I had a room overlooking the verdant courtyard, so though we were in the heart of the city it was completely quiet. The breakfast buffet has many options and everything was delicious. For those who are vegetarian or vegan, or simply want to try the wonderful fare, the oldest vegetarian restaurant in the world, Hiltl, is right across the street.

Great location, convenient for shopping sightseeing. We had a wonderful time staying in this hotel. Only downside is the curtains are not blackout, not recommended to those sensitive to light.

This was a really nice hotel with a thoughtful and helpful staff. The only thing that I wish they would improve is making sure people know the room they’re booking has completely transparent shower/bath area. The room we had was not for folks with kids. They needed to put up a privacy curtain for us.

This is a great place to stay in order to experience Zurich. Walkable to everything, quiet but not far away, close to public transportation. Staff is wonderful, price is terrific.

The location was great, staff were very helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. The room did smell like smoke and the bathroom door is clear glass, which was awkward.

This hotel is fabulous in every way. The staff are kind and welcoming; the rooms are comfortable; the location is close to many restaurants and shops. The breakfast was wonderful. It is a lovely walk to the cathedrals. We hope to return in the future.

First off, i arrived at property in a rental car and all the check in spaces were occupied by taxis and other people, so i drove around for an hour in circles trying to catch a space open with no success. I googled parking for the hotel and it took me to the valet lot behind a gate. The gate opened, so i drove back and parked. The valet workers, who were very nice, walked me to the front to get checked in. Instead of being apologetic for everything i needed to do to just get checked in, a very rude, dark featured guy at the front desk guy demanded i let him know how i got into the parking area. This hotel is overly priced for subpar standards, and you would think they would make up for it by having friendly front desk attendants who didnt ooze with a feeling of some misplaced superiority( the other attendant, a blonde female, seemed friendly and not upset that we parked where we did). Overall, after check-in, the rest of the stay was decent with a lot of beautiful architecture to view as you walk around the city. Glad i went, now i can check off list, and probably wont return.

The hotel’s location was excellent, and despite its dated appearance, it maintained good quality. The room had a bathtub, although it was a bit high for shorter guests. However, cleanliness was impeccable, and the breakfast buffet was delightful.

Everything was great, rooms are a bit small but still bigger for Swiss standards. The glass between the main room and the bathroom meant that we had to leave for our teenage daughters to take showers since it was completely see through. Otherwise, it was great.

Great location

The breakfast was outstanding! We appreciated it every morning. The front staff were very helpful when it was needed. It was an extremely busy week with Taylor Swift in town, but the hotel managed to make it not feel that busy!

Beautiful historical hotel.

Loved location and staff. The cleaning staff did not leave shampoo the first night and staff left a handwritten note apologizing and said they were sorry they couldn’t upgrade my room plus offered free drinks at the casino. However I didn’t have a valid drivers license (it had expired two days earlier and I had renewed it but had not yet received it.) It turns out the casino would not have offered my beverage of choice anyhow. I told the staff about my reaction and told them they had a very nice bar on site that could have been offered. Basically we thought the hotel was great and would choose it again.

It was a below average experience. After paying around $500 a night, there was no air conditioning and hardly any amenities in the bathroom.

Beautiful hotel in the center of everything. Friendly service. Very nice room with modern amenities. Clean and comfortable.

This was our first stay in Zurich. Everything was perfect about the hotel and staff. We asked for help with directions a few times and they were always happy to help us.

Lovely hotel close to Old Town and HB Zurich. Staff was extremely helpful! Breakfast was same all three days. 🙃 Good size room. I did not like transparent glass of shower and bath. Just me. Great location within walking distance to Old Town and HB. FYI : Sundays are “dead” at least until noon. We recommend Hotel Glockenhof!

Fantastic property and staff. Very clean and quiet. Steps from trams. Near Bahnhofstraße, but not on it which is perfect. We didn't eat on-site.

I paid a very high rate for a quality similar to that offered by an economy hotel. None of my perks were even respected or taken into consideration. The room was so basic and lacked any character whatsoever. My advice is: never take a luxury hotel for a one night stay. Totally not worth it!

Perfect Location

Very Good property and excellent location. Breakfast was perfect and staff very helpful. The only challenge is the bathroom situation that has glass doors for shower, tub and sink area.

Very Central close to restaurants, shopping, Harbour and 15min walk to the train station. Enjoyed our stay. Good choice of hot and cold breakfast options. Originally we had booked two twin beds and needed extra bed for our son. They literally arranged the room with extra bed ready within 10 mins. Definitely will come back to this Hotel in the future.

Very centrally located amd walkable to all destinations! A little worn out but extremely clean with upgraded bathrooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious as well. Even though the room was a little small (I thought I booked a bigger one for myself and my husband as my daughter was supposed to get smaller one) but very very bright what we were very happy about. I would definitely stay there again

Best staff and location

We arrived and was greeted lovely. Perhaps not explained our VIP status correctly!! As we were under the impression we were given the free drinks at the hotel.. NOT at the casino?? All a bit odd!! We were asked if we anted casino but NOT told drinks would be there .. we were also NOT offered free room upgrade

Fantastic location

It was good, room was basic but had everything we needed, staff were extremely friendly and breakfast was also good. Location is fantastic, ten minutes walking from station and right in the middle of all the shops, but was also quiete.

Hotel is located in a central area next to the shopping. Breakfast was wonderful and staff was very accommodating. Beds were way below par, my living room sofa is more comfortable than the bed we slept in. The biggest drawback is the see thorough bathroom walls, it’s completely open glass separated area. We couldn’t take shower or bath with kids staying in the same room and every time I need to change I had to scram myself in a very tight toilet space which was the only private area. I can see how I could enjoy this space being just the two of us but it’s completely family unfriendly. If you are traveling as a couple it could be a great stay.

Great location. Staff were friendly and polite. The breakfast was delicious. There is a cozy outdoor area to have drinks also. The rooms are clean and well appointed.

Way below 4* class. I'm allergic to air-blowing heating. So I picked this hotel with radiator heating which was broken. They briught a cheap portable radiator heater which took 2 hours for the room to get wormed. I did not get any service other than lip service.

Good hotel, good price , good neighborhood!

I was shown the tiniest room ever, that slept 2. However, I booked a "family room" that slept four. After going back to front desk, I was show another room equally as inadequate for our booking. They refused to refund the room, that was book minutes before on hotels.com. We did not stay here and moved our hotel to the Marriot--incredibly wonderful decision.

This is a great hotel, very well situated, it’s super clean, the breakfast is fantastic with a good choice of items. The staff are friendly and the room was kept immaculately. I would certainly stay here again.

we had to switch our originally hotel to Glockenhof and stayed there 3 nights, - very nice hotel, wonderful service, tasty breakfast. Across from supermarket and very close to center, very convinient location. If we ever come back to Zurich, we'll stay here again.

Excellent property. We really enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful building with very modern rooms. Our stay came with the breakfast buffet. Nothing overly elaborate but had all the essentials to get your day started. The hotel was a 10 min walk from Zurich HB and a 1 min walk to Bahnhofstrasse and the tram. Lake Zurich was a 10-15 min walk right down Bahnhofstrasse. You are surrounded by hundreds of restaurants and retail stores. There is also a coop mini market just across the street. Great loacation and would not hesitate to stay here again.

We spent two nights here and we really loved our stay. The room was clean and spacious. The location was super convenient, within walking distance to the Altstadt and Zürich HB station. There are lots of dining options nearby, and the breakfast was delicious. It’s also got a beautiful courtyard with the original design dating back to 1911.

It is close to tram and train station close to main street with all the shopping like Rodeo Drive.

Location was superb with all attractions and food within walking distance. The building is nice with friendly staff. The room was not very big but clean and functional. I think it’s a great price and value considering how expensive Zurich is.

I don’t know what the vip access is but their concierge service was great. Mario B ( don’t know his full last name - Italian last name) was extremely helpful with our check in for our flights which saved us a lot of time. Overall a good experience.
