Beautiful property with lots of charm. Perfect for a girls weekend and close to great shopping options. Loved the spa!
The room we booked (King bed) going by the photos on Expedia was very different to the room they gave us. But after showing them the pictures of our booking and with discussions they upgraded us to a suite which were the pictures in the booking. That experience was misleading. Everyting else went well.
Loved the property and our room. I was disappointed that the dining room was full that night even though the hotel was almost empty
Lovely get away in the city. Close to trails, easy parking and check in, great staff and wonderful restaurant featuring delicious dishes.
Very nice
The dinner was exceptional and the front desk reception service was so personal and kind.
Low ceilings on second floor cost y’all a star. Great overall.
Not bad. Not great.
The front desk staff isn't very friendly. Aside from that, the rooms have no desk, so if you plan to work in your room it is uncomfortable. The bar was closed during my stay and seeing as there is not much in the neighborhood, it was unfortunate. On a positive note, the food from the restaurant is delicious and the room service and cleaning staff are great! The beds are also very comfortable.
Wouldn’t recommend, stayed in our room and there was a used condom stuck under the bed tried to get in contact with the manager and still cannot. Only positive is the bed was comfortable
Good hotel, but our room had no space. King bed took up almost all the room. With TV on the wall, the space around the foot of the bed was less than 12 inches. On the side near with the fridge the space was probably 18 inches wide. No reading lamp on that side of the bed. Wife asleep so I couldn’t read when I woke up at 6am. Also TV didn’t work and thermostat to hard for me to figure out. Took 2 calls to reception to get someone to come and resolve the problems staff couldn’t figure out thermostats which showed 78F (C in Canada) so we slept with the window partially open (minus 12C outside). So good hotel but some serious issues.
Thermostat impossible to control. Room was very cold or too hot. No snow clearing until “snow stops falling”. Outdoor walkways to outbuilding rooms very dangerous. 3-4” of snow at night left until morning
Quick and unique
The only place to stay in MIssissauga!
Love the location surrounded by woods. Lots of character and old world charm. No elevator though.
The hotel staff were fantastic and extremely attentive. The restaurant options especially for breakfast were more than I expected. I would happily stay here again.
Very clean and nice friendly!
Always a pleasure to stay at the Glenerin Inn. Best value and comfort in MIssissauga.
Mixed reviews but it’s a cute Inn
It was a mixed stay. Day 1 we were not pleased. The room we got wasn’t Iike anything we saw online. The ceilings slanted in and were so low (room210) My partner is 6’3. It didn’t work. He hit his head at least three times. I also had an allergic reaction to some of the bedding and couldn’t figure out where. The front staff were nice enough and tried to be helpful but nothing above and beyond as far as customer service goes. They also had a wedding on which I wasn’t aware of to begin with which meant there was a possibility we couldn’t use the restaurant. We decided to do room service. The food wasn’t bad. Nothing spectacular but decent enough that we did it the second night as well. A bit over priced for what you get but oh well. Day 2 they moved us to a new room which was much better. It didn’t feel cramped and we could walk freely. The view out the window was really nice with the freshly fallen snow. The room was lovely and well decorated. Spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The raspberry sorbet dessert was incredible. It’s a really cute place. We didn’t use the spa but it’s nice to know we could have had that option. Overall I’d give it a 3.5/5 stars. The front staff could be more personable and knowledgeable. I got a lot of “I don’t knows” but if you’re looking for a getaway, that feels out of the city, in Mississauga ON this place is a good choice.
Party in hallway had to call front desk very loud and rude people in the hallway
Very nice
I loved it, will definitely be going again
Beds & bedding were top notch. Clean property, great staff
We loved the quite escape feeling the hotel and area gave right within the suburbs.
Lovely property. Rooms are lux and comfortable
Very Comfy, Quite and Cozy, I Slept like baby.
Here for a wedding, beautiful venue, excellent food, top notch service - staff are awesome!
This was a great littke getaway for the night My only complaint would be the difficulty with ordering room service. No one answered the phone. I called front desk and they transfered me to someone else who wasn't able to take my order. Eventually, it all got resolved and I received a delicious meal. The bed was comfy, the view was pretty and the cleanliness was stellar!! I would definitely book here again
Our room was clean and decorated, bed was super comfortable, quality bedsheets and pillows. Staff super helpful and friendly.
Exceptional customer service
The front desk was exceptional and rectified a minor issue we had immediately. Very impressed!
Comfortable and convenient. Small
One of the most poor hotel experiences I’ve had in a long time. My flight was late and when I got there to check in the door to the hotel was locked and they had cancelled my reservation - even though on the booking it says you can check in at anytime. Finally got checked in. The next day I went to the restaurant for dinner, but there was a private party so I was unable to eat at the restaurant. Just wanted a glass of wine and dinner. Told to do room service, then had to order a bottle of wine that I didn’t want because they wouldn’t let me order a glass. Dinner was cold, and flavorless. My last night the heat stopped working, but you can’t tell anyone because there’s no one around at night. Also not safe at all. You can walk up to the rooms from the main doors without having to go through any kind of lobby or anything or use a key card, so anyone can just walk in through the hotel rooms. Went to check out today and was just paying for the dining charge and the person at the front desk was trying to record my debit card numbers. Just absolutely one of the most amateur operations I’ve been to in a long time. Would not go back and would not recommend.
Always the same quality facilities…
We had a perfect dinner and evening with 24 friends, and stayed overnight. What a fabulous place!
We like the unique setting, the historic stone buildings and that it's not a cookie-cutter hotel full of kids hockey teams and dozens of noisy families. It feels very premium without costing a premium price. And while the location is extremely central it's set amongst valleys and trees so you feel you get away from the GTA traffic. Our #1 choice when in Toronto!
Ok
Nice place to stay
Justy and Maquellas wedding
My stay was fabulous ,the venue for my grandsons wedding couldn’t have been better ,they took care of everyone’s needs , the beds in the rooms were the best I’ve every slept in!
Loved it!
Beautiful Inn. Our room was delightful - cozy and clean and very comfortable. The amenities on the property were wonderful and the staff were welcoming and attentive.
A little piece of quiet comfort in a busy city. The room was very clean, modern and perfect for a solo traveller.
The Good This property is in an excellent location. The breakfast was continental and David, our server, was friendly and greeted us immediately when we entered the restaurant. The Bad Our issue was the room we stayed in. Room 218 is small and the construction of the arches of the dormer window. You cannot walk from one side of the room to the other without having to duck so you do not hit your head on those arches, which my husband did and cut his head. We mentioned this issue to the reception when we were going out at 7 pm. They offered to move us to another room, but as we would not be getting back until late, we declined their offer. The Ugly This room is a major safety issue where a person can hit their head on those arches and badly hurt themself. Check the room before unpacking.
Super
Very nice hotel, new rooms, soft bed in which you can sink, clean and beautiful bathroom, delicious breakfast. Magnificent view from the window to the autumn forest and attentive staff
Recently renovated property. Beautiful washrooms, comfortable beds, thick towels. Close to shopping and restaurants. Didn't use the spa this time but will be back.
Bed was very high! Not for short people.
Very nice
Nice property
Stayed two nights to attend a wedding at the inn. Wonderful experience all around. Just know there's no elevators, but staff will assist. Bed was super comfortable and the in room heating/air conditioning was quiet and could easily be set to our comfort. Window actually opened for some fresh air. Beautiful, quiet location tucked away in busy south west Mississauga.
Small but very cozy rooms, Continental breakfast is always nice, over all I'd recommend this hotel to all
Super cozy rooms in a great location.
It was clean and quiet
Love this property it’s one of my favourite places to stay in Mississauga. Quiet, comfortable and everything you need for a great stay. Highly recommended
Attended a 60th birthday party for my son. Great venue for a party.
A beautiful relaxing retreat. The Fall colours were stunning! Room was very comfortable, stayed in a King room on the second floor of the carriage house. Very plush and comfortable bed, large walk in shower and beautiful views. Will definitely stay again!
Everything from checking in and checking out was absolutely fantastic
Underwhelming and Disappointing
While the rooms were relatively modern and new, much of its design was not well thought out. There are little to no accessible outlets for charging devices which made it rather awkward as it took time to find a free and usable outlet. The bathroom was especially poorly planned as the sloping roof meant the door would bang against the ceiling or you might hit your head if you weren't always cautious. The shower looked nice but no matter how the showerhead was angled, it would always cause water to floor the entire washroom floor. There seemed to be no running intake vent for the bathroom as steam would not clear out and the moisture over time was clearly causing paint to peel or rust to form already. Though steam would only be an issue when the water actually managed to warm up. Both the shower and the tap were always cold and would only warm after running for over 10 minutes. The only upside I can find is that the rooms looked contemporary and the bed was quite comfortable.
The property was beautiful and the view from the room into the forest was so calming and private. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The room was beautifully furnished and the bed very comfortable
very happy with stay
Stunning historic beauty!! Thoroughly enjoyed this as the wedding venue
Great quaint boutique hotel. Beautiful surroundings with a lovely hiking trail close by! Great dining options close by and Port Credit is close which was awesome as well! Loved it!
Love this property.
Maybe supply a few more KCups with more cream and milk (not a big issue though). The bathroom door in 202 is binding with the frame Otherwise all good.
We liked the ambiance of the hotel - we wish there would have been somewhere to have a drink and a light bite to eat in the evening (in a bar/lounge or restaurant) vs. having to order room service.
An absolutely beautiful hotel with forest walking trails close by. The beds are large and so comfortable. It would have been nice if a kettle and tea were in the room, instead of just a coffee maker.
Room was beautiful and one of the best beds I have ever slept in. Loved it with one exception. We were on the second floor with lots of suitcases and NO elevator. Made it difficult
Dinner hours were restricted. Front desk staff at check in not knowledgeable of area for other food options. Rooms were lovely, modern and clean.
Walls and ceiling too thin. We heard phone conversations from the room across the hall and every foot step from the people upstairs (day and night).
Very relaxing and lovely location
Property itself is beautiful. Staff was very nice. We booked the same weekend as a wedding party though, which felt like we were intruding. Couldnt really eat at the restaurant. Lobby felt like a private party. Could hear the people in the room next to ours very clearly too. Id recommend verifying with staff before booking.
Refurbishment looks good.
Nice place if it wasn’t for the room size. Room was so small I couldn’t get out of bed on one side do to it being right up on the wall where heater/ ac was and all night the cold air would blow right beside me. The side I could get out. I had to watch my head so I would not bang it on ceiling where the window cove was. TV was ona side wall not practical or comfortable to watch. No room for luggage the rack would be in front of bathroom door. For the price I would definitely recommend elsewhere you can get a suite and plenty of mobility.
So charming and comforting
Small pleasant hotel very clean.
The hotel was great! I love staying at quiet boutique hotels and this proved to be a great one. The spa experience was lovely and just the overall vibe in the hotel was great as well. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious. I'd highly recommend staying here if you'd like a quaint inn to stay at!
It is a newly renovated, historical building
This is a beautiful place to stay. Excellent service, cleanliness, location and reasonable pricing. I would highly recommend the Glenerin Inn and would definitely stay there again.
The hotel is a beautiful old building that has been attractively restored. It was very convenient because we were visiting family nearby. Beds were comfortable and the overall feel of the property in an attractive low rise building was very comfortable. Being a small property, we were able to meet the housekeeper who was a very pleasant jovial and helpful woman. My parents and I both made sure to leave her a tip. Room 302 has a very loud radiator hwr which, according to maintenance, is due to the water going through the central system. I implore hotel management to spend a night sleeping in that room as it’s similar to the consisted hum when on a flight. Staff were always available and quick to respond, an email to the Guest services manager Norm was promptly responded to and handled very quickly. But overall, the young front desk staff are unable to make decisions or handle enquiries - really in need of training to understand hospitality / customer service as well as getting to know the building a little bit better. As I stood at the front desk, one of the young front desk clerks rolled her eyes when on the phone with my father as I stood there in front of her. She was smiling and I’m certain did not mean to be rude, but this is a training issue as she clearly does not understand the delicateness of face-to-face interaction and hospitality.
Property was unique and developed into an excellent place to stay with top rate staff.
Room 201 was terrible. Tv in bad spot. Low ceiling dormer and no access to bed on right side. At night 15 minute wait for hot water. Room way too small
Woodsy area made it feel like a retreat.
Wedding reception accommodation. No complaints!
Loved it! Booking for another night
Excellent, friendly staff. Very helpful. Thank you very much for the possibility of early check in.
Very cosy for the weekend
Loved the buildings except the lack of elevators.
Cozy and historical
Nice hotel, tucked away in a pretty area. Included breakfast is a bit lack luster, but hotel overall is nice.
When I entered the person at the front entrance was a little abrupt with me, like she did not have time to talk with me and when I corrected myself after saying “I have a reservation here” and started laughing she did not look impressed. The room I stayed in was disgusting, it had hair everywhere: on the bed, in the bathroom, all over the floor and the windows and the sheets were dirty. I called in to extend my stay for a bit because I had a massage later in the day and someone knocked on my door after extending checkout by 30 minutes, I told her I got an extension and she sighed in my face and started mumbling something to herself. This was all a bit off putting so I doubt id stay there again BUT the spa itself was a 20/10 experience. Lovely receptionist and Incredible masseuse. I felt very relaxed and well taken care of, I’d definitely go back to the spa and I would recommend JUST the spa to anyone and everyone!
We arrived and rooms were not ready for check in time. We ended up being put in 3 different rooms by the time we got a room as they were not cleaned. Found someone else’s brush in our room and none of the doors locked from the inside. We stayed there as we had a wedding that night and wanted to get ready there. We were stressed out as we had very little time to get ready by the time we actually got into a room, which was way past check in time. Overall they just seemed very unorganized and unprepared which was very sad as this looked like such a nice place and we paid a pretty penny for one night. We were never even offered a discount for everything we had to go through. We stayed with two other couples who had the same issues and had to be put in multiple different rooms before they were actually ready and cleaned. Very disappointed. Have never had an experience like this at a hotel.
The food, property and service was excellent, the only thing we didn't like was that during the two days of our stay there were weddings taking place at the property so we didn't have the chance to take advantage of the Hotel amenities outside our room.
Would give this place 2 Stars . Front desk lady while checking-in was rude and unhelpful . Tiny rooms with extremely low ceilings , had to bend down to walk around in the room . No furniture except bed . Tiny bathroom . Very noisy lobby and bar areas . No elevator, have to carry bags two flights of stairs ourself , no staff to help guests .
No elevator. No doorman. No help with luggage. House keepers go home in the afternoon. Approach to room is through kitchen and service area . No a good place to stay
Modern, clean and nice environment Noisy!!! Events were scheduled, including weddings and the people, music, etc could be heard in the rooms. Should not rent a room if events have been booked in the Inn.
Location is good But everything else is average Food is very poor
Great little hideaway
The hotel and staff were great. The only reason they didn’t get 5 stars was due to the air conditioning not working in the room. The good news is the fan was ;)
The most beautiful little treasure in Mississauga would definitely recommend and stay again
Room was extremely small with a low ceiling that I constantly bumped my head on bed was comfortable room was clean tv didn’t work properly kept cutting off ac is very noisy won’t be going back
The AC did not work in my room. It was 27 degrees with humidity and I couldn’t sleep till morning. I informed the staff about the situation in the morning and asked them to give me a call when the manager is notified. I did not receive any call. There is also no elevator in the buidling so if you have luggage it’s too much trouble!
The hotel had friendly service and lots of nice amenities in the room (eg coffee maker, TV with wifi connection). The bed was really comfy and all furnishings were very nice. However, the room was very small, and felt cramped for two adults with luggage (other rooms may be larger??), especially for $200 per night. The location required a bus or vehicle to access restaurants, which was fine but not that convenient, though we knew this in advance. The area around it was lush and green, though, with nice walking paths. Overall, nice.
Nice area, close everything thing, nice area for walking. Nice continental breakfast also. If you are given room 304, be aware, the noise from 305 comes through the wall and door, the couple staying in the room were playing music, loud and slamming doors, at 1 am I asked to be moved. I was not impressed. Never heard from the management about it. Unfortunately I would not stay again as it is a nice place

I stayed there for a couple of days. Got a nice tower suite. It was a good stay. The only issue I had was that there was hair everywhere. When I pulled the comforter on the bed, it was full of long hair. It definitely wasn't cleaned properly. Another thing is that there are no elevators. I stayed in a tower suite, and getting there with my bags was terrible. I had to make my way through 5 flights of stairs before reaching my room.
