Great stay!
Family room was lovely to stay in. Kids were happy with the separate bedroom. Easy and quick drive into Blackpool centre. Food in club restaurant was very good and breakfast was just as lovely, with helpful friendly staff. Will definitely stay again.
Love this hotel
Love this hotel. We study every few weeks for a 1 night stay. Very friendly staff and will do their best to accommodate you if you have any special requests. I asked for a later check out and they were able to provide this. Hotel is lovely and clean. Can always get a parking space in there hotel carpark. They also let u use next door school carpark as an overflow. Breakfast is very nice as well
A gem
Excellent as always
Glendower Hotel, St Annes
Hotel was lovely. Good location for town center. Right on sea front. Good bar , reception and restaurant area.
We had a lovely time at this hotel, just over the road was the beach and our room had fantastic views from the window. Easily walkable into town with plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Hotel and room all lovely, parking outside was great! Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were all incredibly friendly. The only downside was the bed itself wasn’t the most comfortable but otherwise the stay was great!
Employees initial greeting at breakfast should be "good morning" not just "room number! Room TV is not a smart TV, so don't expect anything but the Freeview services.
Nice warm welcome on arrival. Good food with excellent service. Comfortable room with all the expected facilities. Located on the beach within easy access to the town centre. Also benefitting from on-site EV charging!
Superb hotel
Suite was beyond expectations, very spacious, biggest most comfortable bed ive ever slept in. Lovely view from balcony, lor coffee machine, staff were superb, best of all, you couldnt hear any noise from hotel in our suite.
A great stay. Nice room for a family, stairs were a little tricky to start with especially with a pram but fine without. Breakfast was spot on :-) would happy stay here again
Carpets in hallways were clean but were old. Room was small but I liked the fact that there was a shower rather than a "shower over the bath"
Good weekend break
Breakfasts were very good during our two night stay although it seemed bizarre that the ‘Full Lancashire breakfast’ did not include Lancashires world famous Bury black pudding. Staff were friendly and helpful. A couple of maintenance issues in our room (108) would not deter us from returning.
Staff were great and facilities perfect.
It was clean, the staff were friendly. There was a nice atmosphere. Our room was small for a double, however, it did state that at the time of booking so we were fully aware of what to expect. I would stay there again.
No complaints at all, just spent one night, staff good even member of staff walked with us to get to the river to get into city.
Good location, nice sea view
Parking isn't great and it was very difficult with a wheelchair
All good just think booking in at 3 is late as last time we went not booked said we could get in room at 1 but all very nice
Reception staff were rude, our room was tired and worn and needed a refurb definitely not worth the £150 paid for that room.
Very nice hotel lobby and bar area very nice, good clean rooms and bed was comfy
We had a lovely stay. Great room. Good facilities. Close to central Lytham walking distance from local restaurants. Safe parking. Beautiful room.
Great hotel amd location. Woild definitely stay again.
Upon our early arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Tina at the front desk. Although we had arrived ahead of schedule and decided to inquire about the possibility of parking and taking a stroll before check-in, Tina kindly checked if our room was available. Unfortunately, I had mistakenly booked for the incorrect date, but Tina was incredibly accommodating, promptly finding us a room and assisting with the amendment through hotels.com. The hotel itself was delightful, and Tina's exceptional service and hospitality truly made her a valuable member of the hotel staff. During our stay, which included our dog, it seems that the hotel allocates specific rooms for guests with pets. Our room was tidy and well-equipped, but there was a noticeable pet odor, likely from the carpet, which might benefit from a thorough cleaning. Overall, the hotel was charming, and we are immensely grateful to Tina for her assistance. We are looking forward to our next visit.123
Very nicely presented with a mixture of modern and art deco touches great games room and gym with lots of quiet relaxing sreas to choose from. Staff were very well dressed and very attentive and polite the room was very clean and had a perfect sea view. A very nice breakfast menu over-all a perfect place to stay and we will definitely be staying again.
Stayed here before it’s a well run hotel , really comfortable bed , with just staying 1 night just booked a cosy room which is fine , brecky is cooked to order which is better good quality ingredients, it’s only 10 minutes walk into centre of St Anne’s , would definitely stay here again
Always stay here love it
So close to train station staff lovley even though there was I wedding reception it didn’t spoil stay hotel beautiful
asked to be near lift as mobillity issuse, which I was, but I had to go doen 6 steps out of the lift and back up 6 to reach my roon
The hotel had lots of great character, and it was neat and supplied all the amenities needed. The staff at the front desk were very helpful, friendly, and accommodating. The food was good and our room had a lovely view! I would definitely go back and I would definitely recommend it to other people.
Relaxing family stay with fantastic food
Second time staying in the Fairhaven suite and it's a perfect choice for our family. Suite was spacious, had a beautiful view of the sea and the kids said they had the best nights sleep ever. The food is fantastic and the staff are great too.
The property was very clean and the staff were excellent. The rooms were really nice and comfortable. Would highly recommended and would definitely stay again.
Great tisy modern hotel
Everything about this hotel was fantastic. Clean,.speedy service, excellent breakfast.
Great family stay
A great find. Room was brilliant - it is so nice to have a sub-room for the children. Hotel is very well located with fairly priced food and drink. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to returning.
Absolutely superb hotel. Couldnt have asked for anything more. Will definitely be staying here again. Great views to the sea and beach.
Lovely hotel on the sea front .
Great stay . Staff very accommodating with my 5 year old grandson who hs autism
Mixed emotions
It was a bit mixed. Firstly we were waiting ages to be greeted and checked in. I had even done online check in but there was no one there for 10 mins. The room looked lovely but the toilet hissed all night as it was filling up really really slow after a flush. The shower looked amazing but the tiniest shower head. Just looked odd. Then in the morning. The worse part was having a nice suit only to get all the delivery noise at 7am. Tricks, barrels and other things right under your window. Delivery people shouting. Just a bit off putting on what could have been a very nice experience.
weekend away
good sized room, very clean, tea and coffee provided in the room and an iron and ironing board, the breakfast was good and all staff were very pleasant, bar was expensive but I suppose hotel prices are, within walking distance of everything in St Annes, would stay here again.
Great overnight stay
Friendly greeting on arrival. Room clean and tidy. Comfy bed, hot shower and a good range of food for breakfast.
A lovely hotel and room 237 has excellent views of the beach. We could watch the sunset from the room. Friendly staff and would definitely book again.
Not enough lifts/elevators in this relatively large hotel. Food excellent, staff very pleasant and helpful.
It was a lovely hotel but dated, we felt was overpriced for 1 night B&B
Very clean, good food, very good staff
Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff, thank you. First time at this hotel but already planning to return.
Enjoyed our stay, nice sea view room
Lovely relaxing break
I can highly recommend the Glendower Hotel. My husband & I stayed there for two nights in a lovely sea view room, which was spacious, clean, & had a comfy bed. The hotel itself is clean with all the amenities. The restaurant has a nice ambience. The food was a little expensive but very good. I can't fault any of the staff as they were all friendly, polite, & helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
Room nice, poor sound insulation
Stayed in one of the Compact rooms which was nice however the doors slamming all through the night meant we had about 3 hours sleep as it literally shook the room. Shower was poor as it was literally a trickle, no air con so used the fan which was absolutely filthy.
Great hotel
Stayed there as part of a wedding party. Staff were brilliant and a great time was had by all. Would definitely return for a visit.
Stayed at the Glendower for just one night but everything about the hotel is lovely. Rooms are clean and bright, staff are courteous and helpful, location is excellent. Would recommend.
Staff are fantastic, we love staying here. Food and service are always spot on and we love the friendly atmosphere.
Excellent
I needed to relax and was able to
About average hotel.
It was not what I expected for what we paid. The hotel seemed empty but we still ended up in a small internal room with frosted glass for a view to a wall outside. When the receptionist realised we had booked via Expedia she made no intent on improving or brightening our stay. We had a dog and it purports to be dog friendly but we received no indication of this, no bed, no water bowl or any kind of treat, fortunately we brought those with us. The highlight of the stay was the Sunday Roast, the food was excellent along with the bar staff service. Next time we will probably just eat there.
Stay over golf trip
Staff were great and very friendly, overall no complaints whatsoever, some place just need a little update but would recommend and go back any time
Great Hotel lovely staff and food I will stay again
Only the noise/ music stopping me from sleeping preventing it being an excellent stay.
Ideal location, lovely room and friendly staff
Worst Sleep Ever
Room 122 Booked small room double bed which was all fine. Had trouble sleeping as there was something dripping onto the plastic window sill, drip drip dropdrip most of the night, would definitely not stay again.
Great location.
Perfect
Had a great weekend. Hotel is brilliant. Staff are fantastic. Will definitely come back again
Exceptional
Friendly greeting on checking in, lovely large room, very clean and tidy with tea, coffee making facilities, also ironing board and hairdryer. Bathroom exceptional, beautifully tiled with shower and plenty of towels. Shower cap, soap etc all provided. Large TV and very comfortable bed/bed linen.
Great staff on reception, at breakfast, and all around the hotel. We thought the breakfast was expensive, unless you could manage to eat everything on the menu at one go. But all things considered we enjoyed our stay.
Stayed 5 times in as many months, a great hotel and really well priced. But my advice try to avoid room 107 (An exec room as well) and the twin beds they are terrible. We both hardly got any sleep. On the other 4 times I have stayed the beds have been absolutely fine. It won't stop me staying again providing I don't need a repeat of last time.
Staff were very helpful and food was very good. Close to train station and beach.
Fantastic service, room and food
Lovely place
I'll be honest, we didn't spend much time at the hotel. It was just a base for an overnight stay but the place was lovely. It was clean and well maintained. the room had enough space for all our needs. The staff were very welcoming. We have made a note to come back and spend a few days.
all good
all good didnt encounter any faults
The stay was fantastic but a bit of confusion over the booking of breakfast. I thought I had already paid but hadn't. I.when I booked it said including breakfast but didn't. Fabulous place to stay if you have a dog
Fabulous
We were upgraded due to building work- a super room with wonderful sea views - comfortable bed, quality linens
We were really pleased with hotel, lovely rooms, beautiful decor, all meals were most enjoyable and well presented. The only fault we had was the wind whistling through bedroom window, but to be expected by the sea, but once asleep was no problem.
Very pleasant stay
Nice bright welcoming hotel. Delicious food from the bar and at a group dinner and breakfast. Room was a little underwhelming but ok, just a bit on the expensive side in my opinion.
Excellent hotel.lovely comfortable rooms.excellent breakfast
Location was great, extremely quiet, friendly staff and good value. Signage to room could have been better
Clean, tidy, pleasant (noisy in the morning!)
Pros: Nice, pleasant welcome at reception, staff were all pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, nice sized and tidy. The bed was comfy and I had a really good sleep. The WiFi is good, no issues with signal or bandwidth. There is ample parking on site. The breakfast choice and taste is excellent, seriously one of the best I have had in a long time. Cons: First thing in the morning (06:30am) a gym class, must have been spin or RPM or something, was going on below my room and was extremely noisy. I was up at 6am so not particularly bothered but I couldn't believe how noisy it was - the room was actually shaking. Room was lovely but the bathroom was dated and shower didn't have much water coming out of it
Exceptional hotel. Very clean pet friendly home from home. Great and attentive staff. Breakfast very good value.
3 night stay
Thanks to the staff for providing a great stay. Lovely meal to suit different palates first night, good choice of freshly cooked to order breakfast. The hotel can be a bit of a maze, the rooms were warm and clean, ample parking, £2 bus to Blackpool available just round the corner, station 10 minutes walk if you want to leave the car for a few days, beach just over the road, pier 5 minutes walk, what more could you want
Weekend break.
Had a lovely weekend break. We had a signature room with sea view, which really nice. We ate in the restaurant both evenings, not something we would normally do food and service excellent. Breakfast was good and service again excellent. Overall very pleased with this hotel stay
Stunning room. Beautiful view.
Booked 3 nights for a romantic break. Pulled up to a beautiful site, plenty of parking. The hotel entrance was clean, the front desk team lovely and helpful. All the team was wonderful, smiling, helpful. Straight away comfort with a glowing fire.. modern lounge for food and drinks. The lift (which was fully working the whole time) was close by our room on the 1st floor (for those with mobility issues they will understand this). I was grateful. Absolutely stunned by our room, well presented, smelt amazing, biggest bay window, you could see panoramic view of an endless horizon. Gown and slippers, water and biscuits nice touches. Lovely deep bath you can float in. A wedding on Saturday night but we couldn't hear anything. The food was delicious compliments to the chef, full cook breakfast every morning. Pizza one night, giant fish and chips.. perfect situated for pier and shops. Also it's a dog friendly hotel, loads of well behaved dogs. Will return hopefully one day soon in the future..
Very disappointing
Stayed in one of the dog friendly rooms. Greeted by a very strong smell of bleach in the room, as the day/ eve worn on the reason became clear- the room had a horrendous dirty dog smell. The room clearly needs a deep clean including the carpets. Not a nice experience and not one I would repeat.
We only stayed for the one night but everything we experienced was really good. We stayed in a family room which was huge, room was very warm and could have done with a fridge with some water but other than that no complaints at all about the hotel. Would definitely stay again.
The staff were so friendly and I loved how my dog Theodore was also treated by the staff, we will definitely be returning 😊
I arrived and couldn’t stay due to the room smelling really bad of dog odour. The hallways on the corridors to the room smelt very bad of dog pee . I love animals but if they have to stay at the hotel the cleanliness should be exceptional just like it would be in our own homes. The manager tried his best to sort me out with another room but fully booked . He gave me a full refund and I left to find another hotel.
Weekend away
The 'front of house' of the hotel was nice and the staff were attentive and helpful. The room while small, was OK, mattress was a bit strange, like it had wooden boards on it. The shower was woeful, like a cat hissing at you. Only ate in the brasserie, one evening, food was nice, but the service was poor.
Pleasant stay
Stayed for 3 days in a single room. The room is quite small but adequate. Bathroom was also small, shower was good. Breakfast is cooked to order with a few different choices. Parking can be a bit hit and miss, it's first come first served. It's only a short walk into town and the beach.
Pleasant ses side hotel
decent hotel with good breakfast
We was a little disappointed with our stay. The family room left a lot to be desired. It had Iron marks all over the floors, marks all over the walls and carpets, a view of what can only be described as a courtyard with loads of building supplies and rubbish. The shower pressure was terrible and it missed small details like water in the room. Also it had a wedding on which you obviously expect noise but it was SO loud in our room, that we didn't attempt to sleep until that was finished. And when we finally settled down, the rain caused a dripping sound on the window that woke both us up in the middle of the night. Not a great night's sleep. We didn't even get a chance to tell the staff as the queue to check out was 3 couples long and we just used the bucket and left. Only positive was the breakfast was lovely.
Paid £107 for a Friday night here NO breakfast included so not cheap was put in a dingy room that smelled of wet dog (sorry nose blind pet lovers ) that was reall in need of updating the view out of the window was what i imagine the view from a prison cell would be like oh and the toilet wouldnt flush no 2,s apart from that it was ok ...much nicer ,cheaper hotels than this in lytham
Superior sea view room was excellent, bath in room amazing, huge bay window and seating area , the view was spectacular. We had dinner and breakfast both of which were first class , excellent service from reception desk to dining , will definitely stay here again
The location was pleasant. The rest was extremely disappointing and in some areas abysmal. The carpets were filthy and not vacuumed. Surfaces in public areas were dusty and dirty and a major talking point of guests we spoke with. Receptionist Sarah refused to help us with taxi into Lytham and told us we were ‘asking the wrong person’! We were not surprised by small room as we were only staying briefly as a surprise from my partner but the view was disgusting onto a flat roof littered with tools and mess. Breakfast was a fiasco. One young man was trying his best to serve but a young black lady was exceptionally rude to us when we simply asked for milk which had not been provided. One disabled lady was very badly treated and her elderly husband was given no help by staff trying to seat her and manoeuvre her wheelchair and move other chairs. The scrambled egg when it eventually arrived was literally cold , not even warm. My bacon was like hard old leather. Complaints from all quarters of dining room about waiting times Truly awful. Receptionist (a nice lady this time) offered to refund our breakfast payment without us even asking which was fair but in all honesty we were glad to leave the place. Grim. Stayed with Best Western in Uk Europe and States and always been a safe bet but not this time. My email to manageress has not even been acknowledged.
Had a lovely one night stay, right on the sea front, free parking, short walk into the town, we walked to train station for a 7 minute ride into Lytham. We had the family room, large double bed, with a smaller room containing two single beds, good tea tray, plenty of towels and clean, a bit of talc needed in the rooms but nothing to spoil our stay. Breakfast was waiter served, good breakfast choices, the only niggle, I had, and it was only a small thing, was the hot breakfast was brought out before we had finished our cereal/yoghurt, so I put mine aside to eat my cooked breakfast before it went cold, then finished my yoghurt/granola, the staff were wonderful, we will definitely go back again soon.
Right by the beach and round the corner from the shops. Staff are very helpful. Bed was comfy and the room was clean.
Too many stairs
We had no hot water for a shower , great when you are going out at night for dinner Raised this with management, but felt like nobody was interested ,no rooms to move to ,room was tired dark and no view , we paid 151 pound for this room Could t park Sad really cos we have been here lots and had great rooms ribble view and fair haven Breakfast was amazing
Nice stay.
Had a lovely afternoon tea followed by friendly, helpful staff at check in.
Excellent place to stay. Food amazing suit was lovely. Nothing was a problem for staff
Nice hotel on seafront
We only stayed here for 1 night as a stopover to split our journey. The hotel has a commanding position on the seafront and our room had a lovely view of the sea. A large room with a huge bed. Letdown for the bathroom was the pathetic shower over the bath where a light spray of water came out. Breakfast was all waitress service. Not so keen on that for the cereal/continental items as would prefer to be able to select myself. We werent really there long enough to use all the facilities but would stay there again if in the area.
The doorway leading is a hazard with a raised lip which caused me to trip and fall outside tearing the muscle in my right arm and chest. Because of the pain we were forced to return home a day earlier to attend hospital. The staff recorded the incident and were helpful as they could be
staff were pleasant food was good easy parking and room was clean.
Great beach location - bring ear plugs
Great location and easy to find. Staff overall friendly - especially gentleman at breakfast. Main issue was very loud fan or generator noise which kept me awake all night despite wearing ear plugs. You could hear it in the lobby as well. Mattress also needs upgrading

We had a lovely large room with an extremely comfortable bed with a sea view , perfect !
