I thought the hotel was good. Near the termini and plenty of restaurants nearby. I would stay in the hotel again.
Excellent location one block from train station. Good restaurants nearby. Y
Short stay in good Rome hotel
Hotel is an excellent choice for 2/3 nights. Extremely convenient for airport train. Rooms quite small but very comfortable No kettle in the room Breakfast tasty and served on a nice terrace on top floor No obvious recycling arrangements
A great place to stay
Great location, close to Termini train and Metro station, great food nearby, within walking distance from all the popular sights … Lorenzo at front desk was simply amazing
Very close to Termini train station; nice location for visiting all parts of the city; service at hotel was excellent
Excellent reception. People were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful and great tasting. Rooms were clean and comfortable
We were able to check in early. Great location steps from the station. Good room good breakfast. Walking distance to coliseum
Great hotel.
Overnight stopover in Rome.
It was absolutely convenient to and fro Airport either by train bus or shuttle which l believe hotel can organise. Just 3 mins walk to the buses and hop on n off buses. n Termini St. Walking distance to many sites and 10 mins walk to Sancta MariaMaggiore where last Pope was buried. Eateries all around. I probably wouldn't go out after a certain time. Had a very good breakfast on its roof top renovation which wasnt there when we lay used the premise over 2 decades ago!! Lovely spot! Pleasant staff.
Rome trip
location was very close to train station. very busy area though. the staff was excellent very nice hotel
It was clean, quiet conveniently located and well appointed. Could not get hot water to work in the shower.
This hotel is very close to the train station and metro lines. Not easily walkable to very many sites. The staff was kind and helpful. They called a taxi for us a couple times and when we were going to miss breakfast due to an early tour, they offered to have a bagged breakfast ready for us to take with us. Other than being close to the train station- I didn’t love the location. Not a lot of good dining options close by.
Hot water kettle in room for cofee would be nice.
We stayed at the Gioberti hotel for one night. It is very close to the train station, so very convenient for travel. The hotel itself is quite nice, but our room was not great. First, there were many things that were not clean (which is a deal breaker for me). Next, the expedia description included a terrace and a minibar. The room did not have a minibar, it had a fridge with 2 bottles of water. There was no glassware, tea or coffee. When I asked about the terrace, I was informed it was only opened for breakfast. This is quite misleading in the description and quite disappointing since the view in the photos looks lovely. The staff were ok, but quite distracted chatting and laughing amongst themselves during check-in. As previously mentioned, the hotel is convenient for train travel or getting to the airport, but overall it was a disappointing experience.
Average updated hotel in a good location
Location near station is great but the area is noisy at night. The breakfast is average but our room was not cleaned one day of 3 but we got back late so just let it go.
Great location and breakfast!
Great location by the train station and big rooms. Very clean as well
The concierge/front desk host was friendly and helpful. Nice and close to the train station.
Nice staff and service, convenient location.
Location was very convenient to the train station. The room was spacious and bed comfortable and seemed clean. The view was not good looking out to a small courtyard with garbage, scooters, and laundry. We basically just slept here so it wasn’t a big deal. The breakfast buffet was plentiful but nothing great and exactly the same each morning. Coffee was nice. Very disappointing thing was that you aren’t allowed to sit outside on the rooftop patio in the evening. This is one of the reasons we booked here so that we could enjoy a glass of wine and look at the city. It’s only open for the breakfast buffet. Our room was located next to the housekeeping closet so every morning the door was slammed shut repeatedly- waking us up. And we’d paid to upgrade when we booked. Overall, the location made this hotel worthwhile but don’t expect anything beyond a room to sleep and shower in, and a so - so breakfast to start your day with.
it was ok
Location,location,location!!!
This property was in such a good location! We had never been to Rome and to be able to get out of the train station and just walk across the street was amazing. We especially took advantage of eating at the Mercato Centrale which was great. The hotel itself was lovely - great breakfast and great staff. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.
Room was good size, very comfy bed and very good shower in bathroom. No bar/lounge in hotel. Lovely rooftop space for breakfast, but only open for breakfast. The immediate area outside was slightly run down and wouldn’t have felt comfortable walking around on my own at night time. Although we enjoyed our stay I wouldn’t recommend or stay again due to the location.
Was fantastic on regulations on ac was an initial issue , but the manager was fantastic in resolving this .
Half of the sat are unfriendly otherwise the place is clean. It would also have been great if the AC worekd
Next to Roma Termini
The room was great. Just needed extra pillows which they were delivered to us. Our only issue was the shower door, not closing properly and flooding the entrance of the room
Staff were friendly. Excellent location, near the train station. Room was spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. Great buffet breakfast on a beautiful terrace.
like the hotel needs a little work close to train still loved location better at hotel poala or hotel pacifico but was still a great stay close to everything took train all over expedia ia always been great
Convenient & Friendly
Great stay made better by the friendly staff at the concierge and breakfast. Our 11month daughter was welcomed with open arms and we really enjoyed the proximity to Termini station 1 min jaunt across the street.
Close to train station
Our stay at the Gioberti Hotel was quite good. The hotel had been remodeled and the rooms are quite nice. The breakfast was a treat and we enjoyed it very much. Our only con was the AC we couldn't lower the temp to a comfortable level. That might be a problem during the warmer months.
Great hotel by the train station.
Our second stay and perfect as always! The location is unbeatable for us.
Directly across from the train station!! Found some hidden gem local cafes near by and easy walk to almost everything we only caught 2 taxis the whole trip and we saw everything
We loved it
Excellent location close to train station and hop on hop off bus. Neat and clean. Small rooms. Exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work. No explanation about how to use the shower. Staff friendly. Very good breakfast but very limited selections for anyone on a gluten free diet.
The place is ok for crush in and close to the train station however there are homeless around it and the shouting and very noisy some time… I had an issue with the AC , it is not working but i think because the expect you to open the window because a bit cold these days ..
The area around the property can be a little noisy as it is very close to the train station. Otherwise, the property is very clean and up-to-date. I would stay there again if you need a place close to the train station.
We booked this hotel and paid top price but were sorely disappointed. It’s only positive is that it’s within walking distance of the train station. The first clue that it’s a substandard hotel is that the check-in desk is behind plexiglass. The elevator and hallways suggest a recent renovation but our room was tiny and in need of painting. We will not return.
Staff was great
Great location and property in good condition!
Great location close to Termini train and metro station. Very convenient. Great breakfast, service and employees very friendly. The only downside is that in spring, you can not use air conditioner and open the window. Street is noisy and some homeless scream from the street.
We love everything about this hotel. It is right in city center. Close to shops, restaurants and entertainments
The hotel is clean and modern with good facilities in the room. All staff were helpful and the only thing missing was a bar. The hotel does have a rooftop terrace but this is only open at breakfast time. The description of the hotel gives the impression that it has a terrace bar so a little misleading.
I stayed here when completing the Rome Marathon. Great location in terms of Termini which was ideal for getting to from the airport as well as other locations required via the Metro.
Staff was excellent and property met all our needs. Location was great…very close to train station yet all sights were walkable. Breakfast was nice bonus.
Check in was easy and room was ready early. Nice staff. Excellent location close to the train terminal! Only complaint is that the shower was a little too small. Very nice breakfast.
Rooms are very noisy and has no soundproofing at all, we could hear tv playing in the adjacent room last thing before falling asleep and first thing when we wake up. Breakfast is average and scrambled eggs were overly salted every morning.Rooms were often too hot especially at night as the temperature couldn’t be controlled from inside the room, we spoke to reception and they appeared to adjust it from their end on the system, but the room stayed hot throughout. On the plus side the location is very good and we managed to walk everywhere and bed was comfortable.
Great location, close from train station.
好方便2分钟可以到火车站、巴士站。可以步行到好多景点。
Perfect location near the train station. Friendly staff willing to help.
Great
Walking distance from train station and the colosseum.
First room provided have water leakage, didn't have the problem after change to another room. both rooms air-con cannot use in winter time, only have heat.
Great place to stay
Good spot
Great hotel close to Termini. Nice staff. Good breakfast.
Friendly and welcoming staff
We had a lovely time in Rome. Lorenzo welcomed us at the reception, he was very funny and friendly, gave us great tips. All the the other staff at the reception and breakfast room were very very polite. We felt welcomed. The bathroom could do with a bit of paint touch ups in the corners and some bleach on the mould. Other than that we had a nice time. :-)
Staff was very helpful
Room was very warm but too noisy from surrounding restaurants to leave the window open
We enjoyed our two nights stay before departure
Hotel Gioberti Rome
This hotel was in a perfect position for us to visit the attractions in Rome. The room was very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. We had B&B and the breakfast was really good I would say something for everyone. Would definitely recommend
Great stay in a good location.
A Gioberti warm welcome
Gioberti is an easy walk from Rome Centrale Station. The staff were extremely helpful, breakfast was great with plenty of options and there was also plenty of restaurants within a 5 min walk.
it can be noisy…..it’s super convenient to termini……desk clerk, Lorenzo, remembered i had stayed before…..super friendly and helpful. rooms clean. also, if you have a room near main entrance…..frequently you get cigarette smells……not good…..i d stay again.
Last night in Rome and this was the perfect location with wonderful rooms, beds and excellent breakfast options.
Particularly appreciated that we could leave luggage at the hotel prior to and after checkin and checkout. Huge convenience.
Hotel staffvery helpful, good location near to public transport. Excellent breakfast.
😒
The hotel its self is perfect! Pretty much next to the train station and most iconic places were within 15 to 25 min walk.
Good
Convenient location near Rome terminal
Make sure your door locks properly.
The hotel is 2 minutes from Termini station and close to so many restaurants and shops. It is clean and the complimentary rich breakfast is an added bonus
This hotel is located near the train station and bus depot which is very convenient. Rooms are large and comfortable as is the bathroom. The heated towel rack is an added feature. Room safe and fridge along with a large open closet area is helpful. Very quiet at night at this no smoking hotel. Ample breakfast offered each morning. No gym or pool here. Desk staff is multi lingual and very helpful. I recommend this property for access to restaurants nearby.
Definitely worth coming back if in Rome again
Great location, right next to Roma Termini. The staff were friendly and very helpful with enquiries. Hotel was very clean, rooms were generous in size. If I come back to Rome, I would definitely look to stay here again.
Was very clean and comfortable
Was a good stay. Close to Terminal and sights
I have stayed here 5 or 6 times when i was in Rome. This is a great place to stay and near the train station.
Good location/ friendly team
Good location near to the train station. The room is good but the carpet not clean/old. The helpdesk team very friendly and providing excellent services.
A wonderful stay in the heart of Rome! We recently stayed at the Gioberti Hotel during our visit to Rome, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. The hotel is perfectly located, just a stone’s throw away from Termini Station, making it convenient for exploring the city or catching a train to other destinations. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a warm welcome. They were professional, friendly, and always ready to assist with any questions or recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants. Our room was spacious, clean, and with modern amenities. The breakfast buffet was good, delicious, fresh, and with plenty of options to choose from. Landmarks, such as the Colosseum and Piazza Venezia, which are within easy reach. Overall, Gioberti Hotel exceeded our expectations. We would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.
Great location
We were unable to adjust the temperature of the room and it was boiling hot. I had to keep the window open at night in order to sleep. My daughter's room faced the street so they were unable to keep the window open and were very hot. There should be better control. But great location if coming in by train and easy to get around from that location.
Great hotel, be vigilant in the area
Great place
The staff was excellent, very accommodating. Our room was great, plenty for my 16year old son and me. My only complaint was the shower would allow water to get out on the floor. Breakfast was good (fruits, breads, pastries, meats, cheeses, yogurts, cereals, etc). The best part of the hotel was the location. It couldn’t be more convenient to the train station (metro, busses, and taxis are all right there)!
The hotel and staff were great. So close to the station, which makes it really easy with luggage.
I have stayed here three other times. The hotel is wonderful and its proximity to the train station is perfect. I highly recommend the Gioberti Hotel. I have told friends about the Gioberti Hotel and they have all thought it is a great and convenient place to stay.
We only stayed one night and mostly wanted to be near the Roma Termini. The room was clean and spacious, staff super helpful and friendly. Very clean and quiet especially for a place near a transportation hub.
Handy location - close to train station and restaurants. Quite a good breakfast. Helpful staff especially on arrival. Nice size room but bathroom was too small. We wished for a hot water kettle and cups for a cup of tea and coffee.
Nice hotel with great rooms and breakfast. Conveniently located near the main train and metro station and the launch pad for the hopon buses. Many great restaurants nearby as well as shops for souvenirs and groceries
Nearly to train station
Wished there complimentary breakfast went later just till 9 am is very early for those travelling leisurely 11am would have been way more accommodating!
Location location location
You’d be hard pressed to find a better option if you’re coming or going via train. Just a half block from roma termini, and all the other famous sights are reasonably walkable from there.
Our stay was quite good, except for the noise outside the window starting at 3am. Construction maybe, but annoying. Our room got very hot at times, so we had to open the window. Daily breakfast was very good.
A good option within a half a block of Rome’s Central train station. A lovely breakfast buffet. Plenty of dining options nearby. A comfortable stay with helpful staff. Would consider staying again.
The property was conveniently located. However, our view from the room was an ally. Lots of eatry. Walking distance to train.
Well located near Roma Termini if you are taking the Metro to the sights or a train for an out of town excursion or the airport (FCO). Lots of eating choices nearby including the Mercato Centrale Roma also in the station! Included breakfast was great, and became our most dependable meal of the day!
Some areas around the hotel do not appear safe.

Good location
Centrally located, walkable distance to most landmarks, and the mainline train station. Helpful and friendly team, although there were occasional language barriers. Our bedroom was much smaller than our friends', not enough wardrobe space, so we lived out of our suitcases for almost a week. Had to ask for a kettle, as there is no tea and coffee facilities. Good selection for breakfast with both outside and inside seating, same selection everyday.
