Close to train station
Our stay at the Gioberti Hotel was quite good. The hotel had been remodeled and the rooms are quite nice. The breakfast was a treat and we enjoyed it very much. Our only con was the AC we couldn't lower the temp to a comfortable level. That might be a problem during the warmer months.
Great hotel by the train station.
Our second stay and perfect as always! The location is unbeatable for us.
Directly across from the train station!! Found some hidden gem local cafes near by and easy walk to almost everything we only caught 2 taxis the whole trip and we saw everything
We loved it
Excellent location close to train station and hop on hop off bus. Neat and clean. Small rooms. Exhaust fan in bathroom didn't work. No explanation about how to use the shower. Staff friendly. Very good breakfast but very limited selections for anyone on a gluten free diet.
The place is ok for crush in and close to the train station however there are homeless around it and the shouting and very noisy some time… I had an issue with the AC , it is not working but i think because the expect you to open the window because a bit cold these days ..
The area around the property can be a little noisy as it is very close to the train station. Otherwise, the property is very clean and up-to-date. I would stay there again if you need a place close to the train station.
We booked this hotel and paid top price but were sorely disappointed. It’s only positive is that it’s within walking distance of the train station. The first clue that it’s a substandard hotel is that the check-in desk is behind plexiglass. The elevator and hallways suggest a recent renovation but our room was tiny and in need of painting. We will not return.
Staff was great
Great location and property in good condition!
Great location close to Termini train and metro station. Very convenient. Great breakfast, service and employees very friendly. The only downside is that in spring, you can not use air conditioner and open the window. Street is noisy and some homeless scream from the street.
We love everything about this hotel. It is right in city center. Close to shops, restaurants and entertainments
The hotel is clean and modern with good facilities in the room. All staff were helpful and the only thing missing was a bar. The hotel does have a rooftop terrace but this is only open at breakfast time. The description of the hotel gives the impression that it has a terrace bar so a little misleading.
I stayed here when completing the Rome Marathon. Great location in terms of Termini which was ideal for getting to from the airport as well as other locations required via the Metro.
Staff was excellent and property met all our needs. Location was great…very close to train station yet all sights were walkable. Breakfast was nice bonus.
Check in was easy and room was ready early. Nice staff. Excellent location close to the train terminal! Only complaint is that the shower was a little too small. Very nice breakfast.
Rooms are very noisy and has no soundproofing at all, we could hear tv playing in the adjacent room last thing before falling asleep and first thing when we wake up. Breakfast is average and scrambled eggs were overly salted every morning.Rooms were often too hot especially at night as the temperature couldn’t be controlled from inside the room, we spoke to reception and they appeared to adjust it from their end on the system, but the room stayed hot throughout. On the plus side the location is very good and we managed to walk everywhere and bed was comfortable.
Great location, close from train station.
好方便2分钟可以到火车站、巴士站。可以步行到好多景点。
Perfect location near the train station. Friendly staff willing to help.
Great
Walking distance from train station and the colosseum.
First room provided have water leakage, didn't have the problem after change to another room. both rooms air-con cannot use in winter time, only have heat.
Great place to stay
Good spot
Great hotel close to Termini. Nice staff. Good breakfast.
Friendly and welcoming staff
We had a lovely time in Rome. Lorenzo welcomed us at the reception, he was very funny and friendly, gave us great tips. All the the other staff at the reception and breakfast room were very very polite. We felt welcomed. The bathroom could do with a bit of paint touch ups in the corners and some bleach on the mould. Other than that we had a nice time. :-)
Staff was very helpful
Room was very warm but too noisy from surrounding restaurants to leave the window open
We enjoyed our two nights stay before departure
Hotel Gioberti Rome
This hotel was in a perfect position for us to visit the attractions in Rome. The room was very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. We had B&B and the breakfast was really good I would say something for everyone. Would definitely recommend
Great stay in a good location.
A Gioberti warm welcome
Gioberti is an easy walk from Rome Centrale Station. The staff were extremely helpful, breakfast was great with plenty of options and there was also plenty of restaurants within a 5 min walk.
it can be noisy…..it’s super convenient to termini……desk clerk, Lorenzo, remembered i had stayed before…..super friendly and helpful. rooms clean. also, if you have a room near main entrance…..frequently you get cigarette smells……not good…..i d stay again.
Last night in Rome and this was the perfect location with wonderful rooms, beds and excellent breakfast options.
Particularly appreciated that we could leave luggage at the hotel prior to and after checkin and checkout. Huge convenience.
Hotel staffvery helpful, good location near to public transport. Excellent breakfast.
😒
The hotel its self is perfect! Pretty much next to the train station and most iconic places were within 15 to 25 min walk.
Good
Convenient location near Rome terminal
Make sure your door locks properly.
The hotel is 2 minutes from Termini station and close to so many restaurants and shops. It is clean and the complimentary rich breakfast is an added bonus
This hotel is located near the train station and bus depot which is very convenient. Rooms are large and comfortable as is the bathroom. The heated towel rack is an added feature. Room safe and fridge along with a large open closet area is helpful. Very quiet at night at this no smoking hotel. Ample breakfast offered each morning. No gym or pool here. Desk staff is multi lingual and very helpful. I recommend this property for access to restaurants nearby.
Definitely worth coming back if in Rome again
Great location, right next to Roma Termini. The staff were friendly and very helpful with enquiries. Hotel was very clean, rooms were generous in size. If I come back to Rome, I would definitely look to stay here again.
Was very clean and comfortable
Was a good stay. Close to Terminal and sights
I have stayed here 5 or 6 times when i was in Rome. This is a great place to stay and near the train station.
Good location/ friendly team
Good location near to the train station. The room is good but the carpet not clean/old. The helpdesk team very friendly and providing excellent services.
A wonderful stay in the heart of Rome! We recently stayed at the Gioberti Hotel during our visit to Rome, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. The hotel is perfectly located, just a stone’s throw away from Termini Station, making it convenient for exploring the city or catching a train to other destinations. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure a warm welcome. They were professional, friendly, and always ready to assist with any questions or recommendations for nearby attractions and restaurants. Our room was spacious, clean, and with modern amenities. The breakfast buffet was good, delicious, fresh, and with plenty of options to choose from. Landmarks, such as the Colosseum and Piazza Venezia, which are within easy reach. Overall, Gioberti Hotel exceeded our expectations. We would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.
Great location
We were unable to adjust the temperature of the room and it was boiling hot. I had to keep the window open at night in order to sleep. My daughter's room faced the street so they were unable to keep the window open and were very hot. There should be better control. But great location if coming in by train and easy to get around from that location.
Great hotel, be vigilant in the area
Great place
The staff was excellent, very accommodating. Our room was great, plenty for my 16year old son and me. My only complaint was the shower would allow water to get out on the floor. Breakfast was good (fruits, breads, pastries, meats, cheeses, yogurts, cereals, etc). The best part of the hotel was the location. It couldn’t be more convenient to the train station (metro, busses, and taxis are all right there)!
The hotel and staff were great. So close to the station, which makes it really easy with luggage.
I have stayed here three other times. The hotel is wonderful and its proximity to the train station is perfect. I highly recommend the Gioberti Hotel. I have told friends about the Gioberti Hotel and they have all thought it is a great and convenient place to stay.
We only stayed one night and mostly wanted to be near the Roma Termini. The room was clean and spacious, staff super helpful and friendly. Very clean and quiet especially for a place near a transportation hub.
Handy location - close to train station and restaurants. Quite a good breakfast. Helpful staff especially on arrival. Nice size room but bathroom was too small. We wished for a hot water kettle and cups for a cup of tea and coffee.
Nice hotel with great rooms and breakfast. Conveniently located near the main train and metro station and the launch pad for the hopon buses. Many great restaurants nearby as well as shops for souvenirs and groceries
Nearly to train station
Wished there complimentary breakfast went later just till 9 am is very early for those travelling leisurely 11am would have been way more accommodating!
Location location location
You’d be hard pressed to find a better option if you’re coming or going via train. Just a half block from roma termini, and all the other famous sights are reasonably walkable from there.
Our stay was quite good, except for the noise outside the window starting at 3am. Construction maybe, but annoying. Our room got very hot at times, so we had to open the window. Daily breakfast was very good.
A good option within a half a block of Rome’s Central train station. A lovely breakfast buffet. Plenty of dining options nearby. A comfortable stay with helpful staff. Would consider staying again.
The property was conveniently located. However, our view from the room was an ally. Lots of eatry. Walking distance to train.
Well located near Roma Termini if you are taking the Metro to the sights or a train for an out of town excursion or the airport (FCO). Lots of eating choices nearby including the Mercato Centrale Roma also in the station! Included breakfast was great, and became our most dependable meal of the day!
Some areas around the hotel do not appear safe.
Very helpful staff.
This was close to the train station, shopping, walable and very convenient.
Fantastic location
A fantastic location, lovely staff. A great place to stay.
The location was great. We were a half block from Roma Termini Station which is the Train/Metro/Bus/Taxi and Hop on Hop off station. There are shops and eating places surrounding the hotel. The best place to eat (in our opinion) is the restaurant on the corner...Santa Maria. For being in such a busy area, the hotel was quiet. The breakfast was ok, but well worth having it right in the hotel. The front desk spoke English very well, as did most employees. We recommend this hotel.
Good location hotel
Great stay at the hotel nice and comfortable. The best part is how close it is to the train station(you can’t hear any trains outside). Very close walking distance to the colosseum and then all the rest of the sites are around 10 minute walk from each other. The condition of the hotel has a lot of wear and tear all over it, the mirrors, paints, carpet stains. For some reason during my stay around 6.30am the fire alarm decided to go off! Was on for around 5 minutes. We wasn’t told what to do, where to go or why it even went off. Had a peep in the corridor and everyone just stayed in the rooms thinking what’s going on. Apart from that issues everything else was great.
Awesome stay. Everything was perfect
Everything was very nice!
Good hotel near Roma Termini.
Hotel was modern and clean, staff helpful and the location was ideal being situated a block away from Roma Termini Station
Great location close to Termini. Breakfast had good variety. Would come back again.
We loved our stay at the hotel. It was great distance from the Roma Termini which was very handy and our room and the breakfast were wonderful!
Great location for a short stay
We enjoyed the fact that the Roma Termini station was so closeby to the hotel as that gave us options of public transportation instead of relying on taxis or private transport. Not sure if it was because it was close to a train station, but the surrounding area gives a bit of an unsafe vibe. The most I can say is not to be discouraged by the outside area; the hotel itself is pretty secure and nice. There were plenty of restaurants (KFC and a McDonalds if you prefer known fast foods), shops and supermarkets nearby.
Rooms very nice, and location convenient to main train station, subway and buses.
We traveled from Venice to Rome by train and this hotel is only a few minutes walk from the train station. it is about 20 minutes walk to the Colosseum and about 20-30 minutes walk to the Trevi fountain which is 10 minutes to the Pantheon. The hotel location itself is not that attractive but there are a lot of nearby restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Most of these restaurants have outdoor seatings. The hotel breakfast is very good. The rooms are big enough but the paint and carpets are old and need update. Overall the hotel is Good, not exellent.
This property felt sophisticated and the staff were lovely. It was located next to the train station which made travel easy.
the hotel is located in a complicated and unsafe area at night... Prague for breakfast, but what the hotel offers is very poor compared to what is shown in the hotel photos. I think this is a compromise for the customer.
Had to quickly get a room for the night near Termini. This was an excellent, cheap enough choice to find. Lovely room that could have cost $100-$150 more somewhere else.
It was nice to have breakfast included even if it was average continental. The room was very comfortable and air conditioned.
The staff are pleasant and the rooms are spacious. It is right across the street from the train station which was helpful in not having to drag the luggage's so far. I will say, it is quite far from all the sites which was pretty inconvenient. The area around the hotel is also very sketchy and I personally wouldn't feel safe coming back later than 9 without another person. The shower also leaked from the sides so it was annoying to shower and have to deal with the wet floor. Our stay was not terrible, but not fantastic either. I think with the price you pay, might as well find something closer and safer.
Cleanliness
This hotel is very conveniently located! TONS of shopping and any food you want within 100 yards. However, definitely a sketchy area to walk at night or by yourself. Lots of people trying to sell things and pick pockets. However if you are aware of your surroundings it’s okay. Also no parking available so we had to park at the car park near the train station. About a mile walk maybe less. Overall nice people and great breakfast.
A
Shower water pressure is low.
Good location
The place is conveniently located pretty much across the road from Termini. Room is fairly spacious we can comfortably open up three medium luggages and still have room to walk around, but the carpet may need some cleaning as it looks dirty with stains marks. Shower screen does not prevent water splash and water leaks over the floor which soaks up the entire bath mat. Breakfast staff chats a lot loudly among themselves not much service received .
The property. The rooms were comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was wonderful. I wish that terrace was open in the evening just for sitting and relaxing
The young lady at the desk was absolutely amazing helpful Quick knew her job very very well. Only issue was transportation that was set up. We were not able to use credit cards. We had to use euros.
It was good and very safe. Only complaint are the thin walls which meant I could hear the water every timr someone took a shower or used the restroom. Made it hard to sleep at night.
Pros: Stored our luggage. Able to check-in early. One free water. Cons: No emergency directions or escape routes in room. Busy chit chating loudly with each other. Three staff louder than the guests. No greating. Chipped glasses. Shower leaksed. Had to get new towels to dry floor. 6 clothes hangers. We had a bigger closet, with doors, and more hangers on our cruise ship. You have to time opening the door just right to get in. Terrible locking mechanism. Open water bottle in fridge Breakfast to go was horrible. We ended up throwing it all away so don't bother asking for their to go breakfast. I wish there was a way to post photos.
Location is convenient, less than a block from Termini. Breakfast was good but no coffee pot or real glassware in the room. Carpet needed attention in our room but daily rest of the room was clean.
The staff take their jobs too serious and are very rude to Americans. The two staff members at the concierge contradict everything they say and are hypocrites. Also, this property is listed as a 4 star, but in all honesty it's a 3 star at best. You are welcome, folks.
Great location! Great stay!

Convenient & Friendly
Great stay made better by the friendly staff at the concierge and breakfast. Our 11month daughter was welcomed with open arms and we really enjoyed the proximity to Termini station 1 min jaunt across the street.
