Very convenient location in Downtown Vancouver
It was a great stay, great staff, easy check in!
I was charged in USD when I'd booked off of a link on google maps and it was toggled to CAD. Parking was not included despite it being maybe a 3 star hotel max. The room was tiny and the bathtub had a bunch of hair in it that wasn't mine. They were also supposed to have an open hot tub and it was closed. Definitely not worth an almost $300 price tag. Outside there was also garbage so I wondered what kind of area it was in.
Train your staff better
Asked concierge type question and they sent us way out of way when was actually a couple blocks behind hotel. Lots of unnecessary walking if they new their neighborhood better!
Very desirable area. Close to everything
Very difficult to find driving because of construction but not offered any directions by Hotel or Expedia in there numerous emails before you arrive. One ice machine for 11 floors. Definitely not 4 stars
Pool was closed. Lack of TV channels. Beds were very comfortable.
The staff was true wonderfully they made our stay in Vancouver very enjoyable
Lovely stay
We enjoyed our stay, actually let us check-in 4 hours early, and they upgraded us to a King room for free. Only complaint about the room was that the USB ports on both sides of the beds weren't working (room 10/12). The hotel is within walking distance of the cruise terminal and for Granville island. As other people have stated, there are a lot of homeless in the area, so recommend not walking out alone in the evening, just stay alert.
I am very disappointed with this hotel. It was very well rated on your site and I was confident by the reviews you posted that it would be a great hotel. The first night, our toilet broke, would not flush. The hotel staff told us there was nothing they could do, no maintenance at that time. When explained to them that it was unacceptable they offered us to use the public toilet in the group room on the PH, we were on the 3 rd floor. That was not acceptable as I was not going to allow my daughter to go upstairs by herself during the night to go to the washroom. I was then told that it was working when we arrived so it was my fault it was broken! Not once did the staff say they were sorry for the inconvenience. Finally they gave us a key to a room on the same floor to use the washroom. The toilet was only fixed at 5 pm the day after! I asked to speak to the manager, he was not available. I left him 2 messages over 2 days which he never replied back to me. The second day the TV and blow dryer did not work. The room was not cleaned for 3 days till I finally tracked down the manager. He said he would waive the parking fee for us but only if I did not leave a bad review! I had no flushable toilet for 18 hours! Finally on our last night, they cleaned the room and gave us new towels and emptied the garbage. Also both lamp shades in the room were ripped, hallways were dirty and smelt terrible. I would like some feedback from Expedia on this matter.
Nice location. Had issues with the shower head but Matainace came right away and fixed even when it was 10pm at night which was great.
Room was clean. Disappointed hotel didn't offer complementary breakfast but enjoyed breakfast at connected restaurant
convenient
The staff were so friendly and helpful! I Really enjoyed my stay!
Solid, decent stay
I really love the area around the hotel. It has great balcony on the where I enjoyed view of city at night. I really like that thing.
Had a great stay
Love this hotel. Rooftop patio is amazing. Heater/Ac is not consistent, had it on cool but an hour later was blowing hot. Even tho the temp said 60. Bathroom floor could have been a little cleaner but will definitely stay again
Terrible hotel, there is no parking if you want parking you have to pay 43$ extra. Extremely bad location, worst hotel experience ever
Was a very nice room with a nice view staff was very polite and helpful
Electrical outlets in room not all of them worked. Loved the communal space, and roof top patio to sit and visit with the couple we travelled with.
The hotel is located across from the Yale which is a bar and it was extremely loud, you could hear traffic at all hours of the night. There is quite a few homeless individuals in the alley way as well. Additionally, all roads around the hotel were closed due to construction so it made it very difficult to get to the hotel and you could only take one route in and out from the hotel. The hotel room we stayed in was pretty run down and outdated but fairly clean.
Unfortunately with this being right down off the Granville street bridge there are lots of homeless also hard to get in and out of in a vehicle
I really enjoyed my stay.
It was great.
I recommend to stay in this hotel that near almost Vancouver street and more mini-market. The kitchen is also good for family to cook theirself. I got best services from Wendy to support us among trip
We were happy to have an efficiency which meant we could do a shaort walk to Fresh Street Market, which had a great selection of fresh and prepared food. Beds were very comfortable.
All in all, I was very pleased with my stay here. The staff ere always friendly and able to help with whatever we needed. The rooms however was a little iffy. When I first went in I found a werid substance on the table between the two beds- it was clear and hard. For my sack i didnt question what it was
Staff were friendly and we enjoyed the views from the outdoor patio are at the top of the building. It felt relatively safe and mostly clean. Found the pillows to be lumpy and beds were on the harder side but overall we enjoyed our stay.
Great staff and great stay! Would definitely stay here again!!
Great location!
Highly recommend
The room was okay but the bathroom fan could not be turned off and it was loud! Also the tub did not drain well and there were many spots that needed repair and caulking.
Arch Enemy & Fir for an Autopsy
location works great if you intend to visit the Granville strip or venture off into Yale Town...many restaurants and night clubs quthin walking distance
Hard to find lots of road closure
I really love staying in this hotel… staff is really helpful.
I gave one less star because the bathtub was clogged. However, the response via email on Hotels.com was quick, and the staff were very helpful. The room was also clean! There were many shops near the hotel, so I was able to enjoy sightseeing. I’d love to stay here again the next time I visit Vancouver. Thank you for a wonderful time!
Good overall stay
.
it was great experience. Wendy is ama
Great location for visiting anywhere within the walk distance. The service reception was so nice. However the bath tub is not working so good, the toilet’s flushing speed almost hit not working, no window in the room only fans and make the room a bit feel wet. But overall the sleeping quality is nice. The weed street is right beside the hotel but the police station is also there. Not good for walking a lot but definitely a great spot to stay if you are not renting the car.
We went for breakfast on the morning of the checkout (checkout is 11:00 am) when we came back to the hotel at 10:30 , they already have locked us out of the room. I had to go down to the lobby to ask to let us in to the room, so we can get our luggage. I really don't appreciate that move.
The staff were all very pleasant and hospitable. The pricing is competitive
Good location. Hotel needs upgrades to rooms. Especially the beds and bed frames.
The gym and the rooftop balcony were great additions to this property.
Great staff
The hotel is located in a seedy part of town but is clean and I felt safe. It’s easy to get to downtown and Granville Island and there are plenty of small eateries around. There is a 7Eleven across the street and a White Spot restaurant attached to the hotel. Our room was comfortable and had a fridge and coffee maker. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was quite noisy. Staff were very helpful and allowed us use of the lounge on our last day when we had a late flight out.
Loved it
The hotel was centrally located. The staff was friendly and helpful.
nice stay
nice stay
Only problem we had there was no hand soap and the shower rod was broken
Whitechapel at the Pearl
10 minute walk to the Pearl for a evening if Death Metal .Restraunts and Pubs surround the hitel location with a Cold Berr and Wine store half a block away ...what else do you need 🤘😁
The staff was very nice and helpful the area around the hotel was good for the local night scene and shows and concerts the room was fine besides the coffee and strange stains in the sheets but other then that it was a nice stay thank you
Clean, comfortable and convenient. However, we were advised that room cleaning was normally after 3 nights which was not a problem for us. We noticed no ice bucket which we asked for on 1st night and it never arrived after 3 nights. We also explained that there was no coffee pods after 1st night. We ended up collecting every evening before going to bed as they were never delivered either. It’s just a small thing but if you say it’s going to happen, it should do.
Great location with lots of public transportation options. Close to good restaurants and the waterfront.
Great for the price, lots of
Great location, nice clean hotel
I loved the location and price
All good!
Great all around!
love this property, this time went to the top floor for the common area and city view is so amazing.
Bath/shower was clogged, there were many hairs in the whole washroom, and the corners of the room were very dusty and dirty.
The room was spacious and clean. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Only complaint is the road outside the hotel. Major construction going on and it is difficult to get to the hotel. Out of the hotels control but still inconvenient.
Great hotel and great price. Underground parking securing your car
Loved the guest common room with the rooftop patio and kitchen. Had great view of downtown at night and during the day. Was very easy to walk around even with a bit of road construction happening.
They didn't clean our room when we we're out exploring Vancouver. The room was so messy, foul smell and no new towels when we get to the hotel that evening. Not happy about it.
Great experience
It was super loud at night and while cleaning the maids drag the furniture. If it is not loud from people screaming karaoke, it is loud from the rooms surrounding you be cleaned. Also the soap ran out on the first day
We booked this hotel for our weekend in Vancouver. The parking was an additional $40 per night which was a bit expensive, the rooms were outdated and overall we were disappointed. We originally packed bathing suits since we saw there was a sauna and jacuzzi. When we got there, checked in and walked the hotel we noticed the jacuzzi was closed off and out of order. We booked the room with the jetted tub but that did not compare to wanting to use a jacuzzi, the rooms are dated and the hotel in general could use some updates. For the price, we were expecting more. I would recommend doing research and finding a more affordable hotel in the same area.
Awesome hotel.
Good clean room and affordable
Always great that’s why I always go back
Convenient location. Restaurants within walking distance.
Property a bit dated but ok value for money.
The hot tub and terrace were under renovation
Super cute and fun place to stay, the staff were super helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for accessing downtown
Nice place
I always use the hotel for my business trip. I like it!
Lovin the place, open penthouse suites
The place was great and clean. Friendly personnel.
Cool roof top patio
Everything was perfect, but $43 for parking is a rip off and should be included with the stay in my opinion.
Everything excellent. All staff was kind.
Was an excellent and relaxing stay
Ongoing construction. Getting uber was a challenge
Nice and close to rogers arena. 711 was next door wich was a plus
Nice place
Will stay here again
Basic, good service. Friendly staff.
It was a good hotel.
Not the best customer service
Great location in downtown and lots of great options for food in the area
Ok
Decent price given the time of year. Room left a little bit to be desired.
Great place to rest while traveling through
Excellent service, we were very well cared for. Meticulously clean and very quiet.
Canadian lifestyle
Came to BC for fun and visiting Victoria island. Had a blast here!! Just wish the construction wasn’t happening it made it difficult to get rides!! Hotel was amazing and the ambiance is great!! Will stay again. Must have high tea at the Empress
Clean rooms and friendly people at the front desk
My partner and I enjoyed our stay overall, although half of our room’s power went out when I plugged in a charger. It took longer than expected for someone to help us get the power back on.
Very nice
Pleasant and comfortable. It would be great if the check in time can be done at least 1 hour earlier.
We were there for 2 days and our room wasn’t cleaned until I asked. My wife was complaining there was no heat in the room and she was very cold, the coffee maker didn’t work, I extended my stays for a day and my card wouldn’t work at the parade, I went into the desk and asked to have it reinstated parked my car on the road, went back and it still wasn’t working, went back again and got it working All in all was not a great stay and I’ve had much better

Nice room, terrible shower. Parking was not that clear to find even with the email sent from the hotel trying to guide me. Id say overall 3.5, acceptable but not memorable
