Bathrooms need renovation. Carpet and Furniture need to be replaced. Very poor breakfast.
Over all very good hotel except the aircondition was noisy
Great stay
My stay was very comfortable. Staff is attentive and kind. Hotel food very good and value for your money. I highly recommend
The room was bad Hotel didn’t allow my visitors to com in my room
Have stayed here over five times in last five years. great location and friendly service.
This hotel was provided as a replacement from expedia for a last minute cancellation. Nice and simple hotel, you get what you pay for. Views from the rooftop are nice!
Location , staff and breakfast Rooms will need refreshing but for the price it is good
It was neither good nor bad...just vanilla to be honest.
Needs to be upgraded and a parking service for people that have cars
GAWHARET EL AHRAM HOTEL
Hello , as a regular guest in Gawharet El Ahram Hotel i can see it had a good location in HARAM STREET & it is near everything restaurants , shopping , banks , markets , cinema , etc .
V good hotel at Haram area
Location of the hotel was close to my activities areas, room was good, service was good and breakfast was perfect
well run and managed Cairo Hotel, I have stayed at many yet this one I continue to return to .
The general manager is very attentif and will do everything he can to accommodate. The staff very helpful especially the morning bellhops. They have good security. The property is going through renovations. It’s close to the pyramids. It’s a good experience.
Staff were really nice. They made sure I was safe everytime I left the hotel.
Receptionist told me rebook my hotel because the hotel price went up and too much noise from the the construction, u can bring guests to the room
Don't believe what you see in the picture, the best thing in this hotel is the STUFF
Good hotel to stay
Good hotel location it is close to the subway. Staff is well trained
GAWHARET EL AHRAM
Hello , gawharet el ahram is a good hotel with good hospitality welcome from the front office gentlemen to the late night bellman , but the gentle lady may better clean the kettle and not leave all that dust on it , that was very clear , however thanks for her the room was clean , thanks a lot gawharet el ahram hotel .
Polite Staff who is trying hard, BUT...!
Polite professional staff. However, I have to mention the following two incidents: - I was sleeping in my room, fighting a cold. The front desk called me insisting that I should "settle" my account although everything was paid in advance! I went downstairs to see him.....It came out to be 50 bucks!!!! BTW, I have been traveling the world and this NEVER happened to me in the past 31 years. However, it was my first time to stay in a 3 star hotel! - When I checked out, they owed me EGL175 and they were unable to credit it back to my account. I could have used that money to pay for my taxi to the airport. - Everyone smokes in the reception area. THEY FORGET TO TURN ON THE VENTILATION FANS!!!!
Order room service, not the buffet.
This hotel had great service, but wouldn't recommend the breakfast buffet for guests. Instead grab a fresh falafel from a clean local business. Room and spa services were terrific; and very affordable for American guests. Reception was helpful, but guest will need to retrieve a new wifi password for each night of their stay. The neighborhood was busy enough to walk around at night without safety concerns, and is surrounded by tourist attractions and popular restaurants. But do your souvenir shopping at Khan el-Kalili (the bazaar) with a local guide, rather than being overcharged by businesses in the Al Ahram District. Also, walking distance to the Pyramids of Giza. Additionally, non-Egyptian guests pay a higher rate and massages in the spa are 300LE; approximately $15 USD.
Hotel with many amenities
Great location. Close to the pyramids on a busy street. Restaurant and Cafe have great food at amazing prices. Hotel has many amenities. I used the hair salon to get my hair done . They also offer massages and facials . Hotel also has a pool and gift shops in the lobby. I will definitely return .
Poor service unbelievably NOISY
The hotel is ok but staff have no idea what they are doing, argumentative and somewhat rude Orbits POSTED PRICE was only for local Egyptian not for tourists , huge surprise when I booked the hotel for $13 a night and they charged me $50 per night It was ORPITZ's fault Hope you investigate what you sell before you post it for public I do not think I will book hotels through ORBITZ ever again
Terrible place
Omg they are so rude and filthy .They need to shut down
Very Good Hotel very good price rate
Friendly staff, clean room, good pool,Fantastic view for pyramids and sphinx from the roof ,the stay was comfortable
The only bad thing was that the Internet was only free in the lobby & hotels.com wasn't clear abou that ..
Very bad hotel
This hotel was very bad and i was forced to leave it from the first day and they refused to give me My money back
An OK place to stay, except for the traffic noise
The neighborhood was close to many amenities, but I only stayed one night, so this was of no interest to me. The worst part of the neighborhood was all of the noisy traffic, which was outside my window until late at night. The next morning the person at the front desk suggested that I could have gotten a more quiet room at the back of the hotel by asking. There was a modest "health club" although I got contradictory statements about the hours from different service people, and both statements were incorrect. The room had a decent bathroom as well as a refrigerator. The hotel gave me a ride from the airport for US$30. The hotel promoted its location near the pyramids, but they were not very close, and certainly not visible.
Good service for moderately priced hotel.
Tours operated by this hotel are great. We had Fayez as a driver and Nasser as a guide and they were fantastic. Use these guys in Cairo and Egypt and you'll be safe, sound and well enlightened as well as entertained!
Nice hotel accept the staff not helpful.
The hotel too far from 4 stars.????????????????? Why ?
It was in a busy street, room was not equipped was
it is in a busy area , far from down town, room was not great , front desk were excellent , but when I asked for a phone book, they said they do not have one, surprise,
Hospitable. Welcoming. The Best Hotel Experience.
The hotel might be rated at just four stars, but it deservedly can be rated five stars because of the top customer service provided by the staff especially the hotel manger. Their utmost pleasure is to make sure you enjoy your stay at the hotel and our stay was enjoyed to the fullest, the staff were always wanting to go the extra mile to make sure we had everything we wanted and when things broke down they came straight away to fix it. It's all about respecting them and they will respect you tenfold, a hotel experience that will all loved and I don't feel there will be another hotel I will stay at as long as I come to Cairo. A hotel I recommend everyone to go to if coming to Cairo.
Good hotel for the price.
Room was clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff. Wi-Fi isn't great but worked. Breakfast buffet is definitely worth the extra fee and offers a variety of Egyptian and other options.
Pleasant stay in Giza
The hotel was great. Definately will return there
good points and bad points too
The hotel was not bad , but they gave me a small room with a very small bathroom I hated that bathroom very much , also the bed mattress was the worse ever in my life , but when it comes to the price it was good price for this small room , so in total the hotel was not actually bad , it has also many good points , this hotel is cheap and had good service people there are friendly , and thanks to Mr. Ahmed in the front desk for his friendly with guest , thank you .
Nice hotel close to the Pyramids
Very enjoyable. The staff wonderful loving and caring. Always ready to assist in any possible to make your stay comfortable. Your welfare is their priority. I really enjoyed my stay and felt at one with them. B
More than enough for a single man... Nice place!
Security box, hot water working properly and clean... Nice bed enough for stay short time in Cairo
Don't get the noisy room
Staff is friendly. It were given two options, either stay in the room with the street view - which is so noisy, or a quiet room, which smelled like smoking. It's a nice hotel, but it is not a 4 star hotel, more like a 3 star hotel.
Nice hotel... Close to Giza pyramids
The hotel is very nice . The staff members are very helping and polite , the hotel is very near to the Giza pyramids , however if u will be spending most of your time in cairo then look for other hotels in downtown cairo... Otherwise a good hotel ..

Nice hotel
It was nice hotel , quite one , small one. The staff was helpful
Convenient
Nice simple place to stay.......no hassle, very friendly staff...............nice place!!!!
good hotel for a family
the service is good ,the pool is small, sat light is bad ,its clean ,nice and comfortable , Wi-Fi is good, the electricity down many times at same day.
The staff were kind and efficient, I enjoyed my stay but didn't necessarily care for the area. Although centrally located between the Pyramids, museums, Zoo and the square, all vendors and taxis try to overcharge for goods and transportation. Always ask for receipts and make sure the receipt reflects what and how you paid. women especially would do well to make use of their more conservative atire, especially when unescorted in this area.
Pyramids very close by!
Very pleasant 2 day stay. Hotel provided excellent tour services and is conveniently located to pyramids. Staff was very courteous and helpful.
Generally good
Generally it was a good experience, clean room, okay facilities. At one point we made a local call to pizza hut from the lobby and they charged me 9 Egyptian pounds for it, which I thought was exuberant for Egyptian standards, so the charges of the hotel are very steep. The mosque at 4:30am every morning only woke me up once, the other days I didn't hear it. Make sure you get a room facing away from it. The pool was cold and couldn't use it, but otherwise clean.
Reccommended
I enjoyed staying here. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean, big, with a comfy bed and i could even see the pyramids from my window! Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again.
Great for travelers
Very comfortable and helpful staff. I will come back
Wrong address of this hotel in expedia & google
Excellent location, near the pyramid. Notice that expedia and google map has a wrong address of this hotel. This hotel is near the cross between ring highway and al ahram blvd. It takes about 30 minutes by walking to the ticket office of Giza Pyramid. The breakfest is good. The room is clean and comfortable. Valuable for this price.
Close to pyramids, but not the best area
Second day there my girlfriend got her phone snatched from out of her hand walking down the street, so I'd say the area is rough. My reccommendation: go the pyramids and see the Cairo museum and get out of Giza/Cairo. Other cities like Alexandria, Luxor, and Aswan are much more tourist friendly, cleaner, relaxing, and beautiful. Rooftop bar/restaurant was really nice. Not the best service though, and english was questionable. Rooms were pretty clean, nice bathrooms, and free Wi-fi. Overall I'd say a 3.3, probably higher if the neighborhood wasn't so rough.
This hotel is not 4 star, it should be 2 star
This hotel is not 4 star, it's should be 2 star. Expedia should remove this hotel from 4 star rating, the reason i choose this hotel as it shows on expedia as 4 star but in reality its below 2 star. Hotel real name is not Husa Pyramids as wriiten in english, i was confused when i saw the name outside of the hotel, hope expedia will correct this.
Good budget hotel, but noisy
Good budget hotel close to the pyramids but far from the airport. Not ideal if you are a light sleeper, as we had loud music from a nearby nightclup till 1am 2 out of 4 nights on weekdays, and a Mosque very close with very loud prayer calls. Helpful staff .
Good budget hotel
Good hotel for the money you pay, it is about what you would expect. Breakfast was good and if you're only in the city for a short while it is close to the pyramids. But is pretty far from the airport.
Not so bad not so good
The staff of the hotel was very good special cleaners always cleaned our room very good. Surroundings of the hotel was terrible, loud noise and mess. I was disappointed with the staff of the hotel restaurant because we have to serve ourselves even we was the only guests. The hotel offered us the trips, but the prices were different both on reception and in the agency directly. But the guide was still with us. The breakfast buffet was very good. So i can say the price of the hotel correspond to services.
Great experience!
Ahmed provided a very safe and pleasant trip for us. He arranged all our travel in Egypt and recommended excellent tours around Cairo and to Alexandria for a great price. Our guide Nasir was excellent as well. He worked with us to give us the experience of a lifetime.
good
good but resturant manger was not kind dealing wth gustes
worth the money
good and clean area close to giza pyramids, it is very nice hotel and ahmed and mustafa and amr the driver allare just too good. will definately recommend people to come and stay here.
Fantastico :)
The staff were very good with us and very helpful, especially a member of staff called Ahmed.
Over all very good staff very friendly and heplful
Fantastic value, beautiful view of the Pyramids
The Husa Hotel has been the best hotel thus far on our trip from Israel to Egypt. The staff was perfectly attentive and the value could not be beat. We would recommend using the hotel service to arrange transportation to the Pyramids or the Museum as the streets can be very crowded and confusing. The price for these services were cheaper than if we had just gotten a taxi ourselves. We have been recommending this hotel to other travelers that we have met along the way.
Good budget travel, great Staff!
This is a good 3 star hotel. Staff are very friendly and will accomodate all your needs. Breakfast buffet is not so great.
Good value for money
I wouldn't clasify this hotel as 4 stars on European standards but it was a good value for money (pay 2 nights and take the 3rd for free). Room was spacious and reasonable. good side view on Pyramides. However, road is extremely congested and busy 24/7!! Breakfast is very poor quality but can't compalin much as was included in the room price. Room was cleaned daily to a good standard. Surrouding area is very poor, only reason to be there is to visit pyramids otherwise you will need a taxi everytime you need to go to see the Nile or downtown (costs around £3-4 and takes around 30 min journey). Internet access was available in lounge and you might get a weak signal in your room depends which floor you are in. ALL IN ALL it was a good value for money for no more than 3 days
Best tourist trap in Giza
We had a wonderful time at this hotel. We stayed in one of the suites with a view to the pyramids. The breakfast was ok, but nothing special. The rooftop restaurant has a spectacular view. One warning: The management wants to entrap you in their own tourist trap, and does so in a way we felt was sleazy and deceitful.
Not up to a 4 star rating
The double glazing wasn't very effective. the traffic was quite noisy. The food wasn't very good it appeared to have sand in it quite often and it made it gritty.
giza hotel 2 nights stay.
i thought this was a nice 4 star hotel to stay in, very close to the pyramids in giza. its about a 30 min drive to the pyramids (in traffic, witch there always is in Ciro). this hotel is not new but it is very clean. there is a nice restaurant on the top floor with a balcony, with a nice view of the pyramids. breakfast is basic, the food is good and clean too. (24h room service too) there is a indoor pool witch was out of order when i stayed witch was disappointing. it was the only hotel i could find in giza with a indoor pool (i satyed in winter), so better call the hotel to check its in order if you want a pool. other than that if you want a cheap hotel to stay a few nights just to sleep close to the pyramids and nice food this is good. i wouldn't stay here if i wasn't going out during the day and staying in the hotel all day. but of coarse you are going to Egypt to see the country, not stay in the hotel. when in egyipt beware of people trying to rip (tourist)you off, if you like somthing BARGAIN dont be scared to start off at 1/3 the price, you could end up having it for 1/2 the price. and never buy somthing without agreeing a price first. people will hassel you on the street to buy suvineers and stuff just, ignore them and they will leave you alone. but some of them can be very persistant. just ignore them its not rude in egyipt. i hope this helps
Care, comfort and convenience
I would recommend this hotel to anyone, tourist or business person. It is very well located for downtown Cairo and for visiting the tourist "hotspots". The management and staff really take the extra effort to ensure every guests needs are satisfied and that all reasonable requests are fulfilled. Even though the hotel is on a main road, the rooms are quiet and many have great views, eg. of the Pyramids. The food and service is excellent. Go here and have a great time. I am happy to confirm any information personally if you wish.
Felt very safe and secure! Great View of Pyramids
Watch the sunset from the roof over the pyramids, it made my trip to Cairo worthwhile; Hotel staff went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me, even took me on a night river cruise on the Nile for dinner.
Bad breakfast hotel.
Hotel 4 star but should only be 2 . Location noisy and dirty. Breakfast terrible no variety same everyday. Two elevators scarry old narrow does not open sometimes to go down. Reception attentive to requests but ref assigned to room made everything into ice no thermostat. TV small so blurred with only 2 English channels BBC super blurred and old movies. Lucky room was always cleaned by efficient gentleman housekeeper.
Husa Hotel
Quite good for the price...not luxurious, but reasonable comfort and location...taxis are cheap when using meter, so location is OK. Good view of pyramids on a clear day...only 1k away, but invisible on smoggy mornings. Bkfst was only passable..bit boring after a few days. No real gripes...staff were quite accomodating.
An Authentic Egyptian Experience
This hotel is located a few miles/ kilometers from the Giza pyramid complex, which contains the great pyramid of Giza and the Sphinx. It is also not very far from Khan El Khalili-bazaar. It is a full 45 minutes from Cairo Airport (with no traffic), so prepare to leave early on departure days. It took us 2 hours to arrive there from the Airport because of Cairo traffic. The hotel staff is extremely nice and helpful. The staff can help you arrange trips to the different sites in Giza and Cairo. Our room was spacious and clean by Western standards. The hotel has three restaurants, which makes it ideal to eat at in the mornings before day treks and/or in the evenings after exploring the pyramids or Cairo. Our food was tasty and up to Western standards too. The hotel is located in the city of Giza, which is right across the Nile from Cairo, on Giza's most important street Al Ahram. A visitor gets the authentic Egyptian urban experience since the surrounding neighborhood is neither scenic nor sightly by Western standards but has a Middle Eastern charm to it. Nevertheless, the hotel is safe and has 24 hour security. The drive from the airport to the hotel is very interesting to say the least since Cairo has monumental palaces, museums and Mosques as well as decaying buildings and urban squalor. Overall, this a great hotel for an authentic Egyptian experience.
Reasonably good hotel to stay in Cairo
Location of the hotel is good as it is close to pyramids but far from other attractions like Egyptian museum, Khan-al-Khalil and downtown. Tourist information centre is available in the hotel but they only push you to buy the tour package with them. No other help is offered, not even a city map is available with them. Metro station is not far from the hotel and it could easily be used to explore the city but the tourist informaiton center tries to scare you taking metro so that you hire the car and driver from them which was quite expensive. My room was neat and clean as the hotel was as a whole. The only disappointment was the buffet breakfast. It should not be called buffet breakfast at all. It consisted of few bakery related items saran wrapped in a small plate but no hot meal. Juice was offered in the smallest possible glass size but tea and coffee was OK. Hotel's rating as four star should definitely be reviewed.
Not good
A disappointing stay. This is the only hotel I have EVER stayed in where I was hassled for "Taxi" whilst standing at the Reception INSIDE the hotel. This was despite there being security guys standing next to the hassling taxi driver. Sorry, that was too much for me. We expect this on the street but not inside your hotel. The hotel also needs cleaning.
Husa Pyramids
For your money this is a very good location (close to the pyramids etc) and a clean hotel. I have stayed here with my family (2 teens husband and wife) and we enjoyed it. Breakfast is normal Egyptian type: cheeses, eggs, breads, pastries, tea/cofee. Although our hotel was in a busy business area (shopping, pharmacy, etc) we did have to go through some poor areas of town, Some people may not like this aspect, but I thought it showed my 15 and 18 year old daughters to be greatful for their blessings in life. For those who come from countries where smoking is limited to certain areas, I must warn you the men at the doors, manning the detectors, smoke. This is the only drawback to this hotel...but understood since most Egyptians smoke.
Husa @ GIZA
I did not stay much at the hotel therefore not quite sure that my review may count but had no bad experience either and that counts in places like Cairo...
Nice hotel in Giza at a good location...everyone is so nice!
Everyone on the hotel staff were really great and our rooms were very clean. We didn't have any complaints at all. The coffee shop has wonderful cappacino and the restaurant has great views and good food, especially for the money. Location is ideal if you want to be closeto the pyramid complex. There is a nice mall 2 blocks down the road with some good shopping and the gift stores in the hotel lobby sell very reasonable priced jewelry and soveniers.
Spent 10 days here, great value
We had a great time here, the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel it self is nice enough, and kept in a decently clean state, its not north European standards, but I had no discomfort at all. The food in the hotel, is acceptable, when their week-time chef is in, it is really pretty good, tip decently and talk to these friendly people and they will make your stay a great one. And the restaurant on the top floor have a great view of the pyramids, so did our room. I read a comment on the tour packages that can be booked in the hotel, and i disagree that it is a rip off, as anything else in Cairo, do negotiate, but here is how my experience was: 2 People spending a full day 9-17 going to pyramids etc, He asked for 950 EL and we negotiated down to 800 EL, i thought that was a bit expensive but agreed. In the end this was with entrance fees totaling 400-450EL + a meal + car and driver, and a guide that spoke good English. So in reality 350EL=45€ for guide and driver/car for a full day. Come on.... If you are in Cairo to see things and not only lay around the hotel, this is a great bargain. Taxis to anywhere in town should be around 30EL=4€ There is a metro a walk away, and that cost 1 EL=0,15c
Overall not exactly extra special but good for the price
The hotel is 4-star, but these are Egyptian stars, so they aren't quite what you might expect. That said it is a pretty good, reasonably priced hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. The restaurant menu is a little short, but adequate, and the food is good. The terrace is a perfect place to sit on a late afternoon and watch the sun set behind the pyramids - a truly wonderful sight. I was very satisfied with my stay.
Great view of the Pyramids
It's a great hotel in "the Pyramids street" which also has a lot of night clubs and food take away places. The people are very friendly and professional at check in, they have nice rooms and you have a view of the pyramids from their restaurant on the 9th floor. The included breakfast was ok and the foreign exchange bank in the foyer makes it very easy to exchange cash (they don't exchange traveller’s cheques...) They do have internet services available but you pay for the cards at reception. You have 30 min or hour cards available.
Hotel in Giza - close to Pyramids
The hotel is located near Pyramids (about 5 min drive) & you can see then from the roof restaurant. The service is great: the personnel is very keen to help and usefull. However, the view from our room was 2 m from the wall, so it was really unpleasant.
its nice baby
Good if you're traveling on a budget
The trip was amazing just because of the pyramids, the Cairo Museum and all the historical parts of the city. Otherwise, the hotel was just ok, food was so so, except for the amazing fish dishes in Alexandria. The part that I disliked the most was people trying to rip you off everywhere you go. I was being charged 400% more for items that I could get in the States.
Dont be fooled by the beautiful glitzy reception - rooms are disgusting.
Carpets filthy, walls dirty, skirting boards never been cleaned, pulled out the bed and was thick with dust. Sink blocked with hairs. bedding and towels were clean. paid for 3 nights, left after one. it is worth paying the extra for cleanliness. Staff lovely, reception staff helpful and professional.
Excellent value!
Excellent value, great customer service, view of pyramids.
economical hotel by the pyramids
The staff was great, they try to please--accomodating for American breakfast not served on buffet. The neighborhood is what it is, very poor people begging as you make your way to Pyramids--was scary at times. The some taxi drivers tried to trick me--taking me in same circle to increase meter amount--I just got out at a stop. The wonder of the Pyramids and the history make up for neighborhood!
If I had a chance I would go there again
I have written my views above.
Egypt travel with opposite sex
If you are going to travel to Egypt with someone of the opposite sex (if one is from a muslim country), remember you need either: 1) Marriage certificate 2) Seperate rooms (unlikely you will be offered this option) 3) Egypt's temporary marriage certificate (can be bought at a solicitors for around 300EGP) Make your base in Alexandria rather than Cairo. Cairo is dirty, over priced and very busy Alexandria is laid back. Within 5 hours drive of Cairo. The air is breathable and the people less likely to take you for all you have.
A bit far out from Cairo downtown but good hotel
Husa Pyramids is a good, clean, three (maybe 4) star hotel. In comparisson with the majority of other services and areas in Cairo, that was an air-condioned haven. The staff were very friendly, helpful and responsive to our needs. Breakfast was ok, not great, and if you have teenagers like me, you may wish to stock up on cereals. A kettle is also needed as the rooms don't have one, and if you need a hot drink you need to purchase from the restaurant or room service. Prices were reasonable. The prices offered by the in-house travel agent were too expensive and the quality of the guides average. I have made some good contacts and ended up finding much better deal for half of the price.
Good-fair hotel for the price
Hotel is good, clean and has clean swiiming pool, and shops with good prices. Travel agency in the hotel is very good and guys are very friendly. I will recommend this hotel to friends. Very close to the Pyramids you can even go walking.
really disapointment
This not a dump but that being said the service is horrible, as annoyed as we were other people were literally screaming frustration at the help(it was really bad) on top of all this about 100 feet from our bedroom was a Minaret that has very big loud speakers on all 4 sides It was the end of Ramadan and we listened to prayers for 3 1/2 continuous hours on the first night and a wake up call at 4 am every morning. //no! go elsewhere!
Husa Pyramids in Giza
The room we stayed in was directly beside the elevator on the 8th floor, so we had the sensation that people were always knocking on our door to come inside (from the elevator noise outside). The room was a little bit small, but it was comfortable. The carpet seemed to be a bit dirty, but then again so were we after arriving on a train from Alexandria that morning. The staff was very accommodating to allow us to checkout at 2 pm and leave our bags there until almost 11 pm (when we took a taxi to the airport). We did not utilize the pool. The mosque next door is always active (at least it was during Ramadan).
Recomended
Very pleasant stay, nice location, recomended for a very nice stay
Chaos
This hotel is close to the pyramids, but along an extremely busy street and next to a Mosque (you will hear the calls to pray in the middle of the night and crack of dawn). The neighborhoud is basically a marketplace, hotel is dirty and not well mantained.
debbie from new york
i will never recommend this hotel to anyone. I don't see how this could be rated 4 star. It was more like a 2 star motel. the hotel needs a whole makeover. the breakfast was certainly a disapointment, one mornining the sausages were spoiled. the rest of the time it was cold. had to keep asking for toilet paper and washcloths the shower curtain were old and dingy. I tried to spend as much time away from the room. don't waste your time or money at this hotel. It was a terrible experience!!!!!!!!!!!!
Husa Pyramids Hotel where you feel like Royalty
The Husa Pyramisa Hotel is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The room was very clean, the laundry services were by far the best. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We were treated like royalty. When I needed a converter for my latop to make a teleconference call at 2am the front desk send a bell boy to get it one from a little market. The location was great, I could see the Pyramids from the Hotel Panorama Restaurant. The fotel also had a tour office which set everything up for us, hassle free. we had a private car and a private tour guide. The prices were great. Mondy from the travel office and Achmed from the reception really made our stay the best. I will definatly be staying there again and have already made some recommendation to some co-workers and friends. Hotels. com did great in adding this hotel to their page.
Excellent Value for Money
The hotel may have seen better days, but so then has Cairo. The hotel is located in Giza on Pyramids Road, but it it is still a good 20 minute walk to the pyramids themselves. It offered great views of them, though, from the roof terrace. The service was very friendly and when we enquired about booking an additional night as we had an early (1am) flight, they offered us the room until 6pm for a very modest additional fee. It was a great place to end our Egypt experience.
Great hotel in Cairo
The hotel was very clean and in a great location.I could wake up in the morning and see the pyramids from my windon. The hotel staff all spoke English that was a plus
Just Okay
I choose this hotel due to the reviews on Tripadvisor, but i was a little disappointed. We were upgrade to the suite, which had a living room and the bedroom. We initally asked for twin beds but we were giving a king size, however the bed was big enough for three people so we kept the room. The room was dark and had poor lighting. The decor had probably not been updated since the hotel was built, paint was chiped at the doors. The bathroom was a good size and had a power shower, with constant hot water although the water was hard in nature and had a smell at times. The hotel as a whole was quite dark, except the reception which was a nice gold colour and would have been inviting if it was not for the constant chain smoking by all the people there (including staff members).

Will never go back!
If you think you will be staying at a 4 * star Hotel YOU will be in for one almighty shock!
