It’s walkable, but it’s very hilly. I did not expect it to be so hilly, but after a day or two it was OK. Our favorite staff member was Diogo, who was especially nice and responsive to our needs. Sometimes the street noise was pretty loud, we faced the street- but these are small apartments and the bedroom is set back and little living room/kitchenette was facing the street. We loved it!

It’s close to everything. For the price, there are much better options. The ac made a very weird sound when it was on, and the only time it could be on is when you’re inside.

The people working there are excellent. Amazingly helpful. The room is nice, but its not a true king or queen size bed. 2 twins smashed together. Nice view and when you walk out, you're in the middle of old town. Building is always clean and well kept.

Nice apartment but terrible service

The apartment itself was clean, neat, and well located. Unfortunately I did not have a good experience for a couple reasons. First, the property manager was not on-site as promised in our communication. When we buzzed the door she let us know we could do the automatic check-in process. However, the machine didn't recognize any of our credit cards and we had to wait for her to come to the property to check us in. They billed me for the entire amount while Hotels.com said I had already paid a deposit, so that was another issue. The property manager had not left additional sheets and cover for the couch/twin bed so we had to request that late at night and didn't receive a response for an hour. Also I had complained about the noise from the next building and even though they tried to address this with the store next door it was still loud at night when we returned to the apartment. I was told when I tried multiple ways to contact the manager that I needed to go to the outside buzzer (on the street) if I wished to communicate with her. The phone number they had had two 00 in front for some reason and she didn't seem to like that I called the number directly on my phone and tried WhatsApp when I didn't get a response. I also got asked why I would need additional sheets when "it's only two people." Frankly it's none of her business. Hasn't she ever traveled with a friend who snores? Or had someone who just wanted their space? That's why we rented the apartment in the first place.

We found the location was very central. Staff was very helpful and friendly ( shout out to Lara and Julia). The apartment was spacious, modern and clean.

Excellent, central location in a great part of the city. Can't wait to visit again!

This place was amazing! It actually looks EXACTLY like the photos. The apartment was big and roomy. Lots of space. Very conveniently located in one of the best areas in Lisbon. It’s within walking distance to the main attractions and there is a metro station close by. Perfect location and I would definitely stay there again and recommend to others.

The apartment was in a fab location. It was a beautiful apartment and spotlessly clean.

Loved how friendly everyone was. Really approachable and super central location. Couldnt have been more amazing. I was a solo traveler, and im bery partiuclar, so these were minor downsides to the stay: 1) the cleaning ladies were directly outside room 104 creating a huge amount of noise early in the morning. Uneccessary amounts of laughter which woke me wlearly most mornings. 2) building work directly outside, which did not stop except on the saturdqy i was there. Absolute headache. 3) i was cold in the evenings, but couldnt identify any central heating, though hot water was amazing with a high pressure shower. 4) did not like the pillows on the sofa or the swat covers for the kitchen. Very unconfortable and could bot guarantee how hygienic they were. 5) the duvet of my bed had no cover, so could not guarantee how hygienic it was. So thick too, would be tricky to be washed- almost impossible? So porbbaly dowsnt get washed 6) very little natural light came into my apartment 7) could have at least offered to out pepper and salt as a bare minimum in the kitchen (and maybe olive oil) Again. Im super particular. Coffee pods were a nice touch, everybting was really modern and appeared clean. Thank you for the bottles of water, they saved my life after my long flight. Really happy with the customer service.

Great location. Communication good when we needed something, they replied quickly on WhatsApp. The only thing missing from our room were some drawers to put things in. Also if booking with Expedia you think you’ve paid a deposit but you don’t. Full payment is on arrival.

Amazing property in the heart of Lisbon. Great location, apartment was clean, spacious, and went above and beyond with amenities. Only wish guests could have the room cleaned once during their stay if staying less than 6 nights.

This hotel does not have a front desk to check in at or to register problems with the rooms They use an ATM style machine for checking in. It didn’t works there was a closet like side room where some one came finally to help. Expedia’s reservation showed that I paid the full amount to them. The hotel made me pay the full amount at the hotel saying they only accept payment at the hotel. I still don’t know if I double paid. Our friends room the A/C didn’t work. It was the weekend and the hotel phone contact said they couldn’t get it fixed until Monday. Nice facility, very poorly run. Hooding Expedia straightens out the payment stuff or I will dispute payment with cc company.

Excellent apt, very nice staff and very clean. Good location. On a hilly street so you will earn your pastries. Could not find any supermarket or even a convenience store nearby so bring basics like creamer and sugar, they provide Nespreso machine and 4 coffee pods.

Communication could be better with the property management. They often misinterpreted my messages and responded after longer than liked. Property is in the midst of all the beautiful local culture and restaurants which was perfect

Very nice apartment with super thick walls in a fantastic location. There was some thumping noise coming from upstairs for a couple of hours. The balcony is on an alley and opening windows didn't work well due to the distinct sewage odor that would waft indoors. The wifi cuts in and out.

I stayed here years ago, and now the upkeep is the same. Very well cared for property. Very comfortable bed. Windows provide decent soundproofing for a main street.

Smells of sewer gas

The place has an odor of sewer gas that pervades the elevator and lower floor apartment. Multiple staff members denied smelling it, and it was very strong. Our friends also smelled it both in our First floor apartment sndd do in their fifth floor apartment. We made them aware as soon as we checked in for a four night stay and were told they were “ fully booked” and there was no possibility of changing rooms. We brought it to their attention numerous times. There was little evidence of many people staying there. On the positive side. The renovation was tastefully done and all fixtures were clean. We are also in the midst of a dispute where Hotels.com took a 30% deposit, for which they gave us a paid receipt, yet we were charged the full amount at check in. No one is being helpful from either the apartments or hotels.com. Located in a very busy part of town.

Excellent location that makes travelling about Lisbon very easy. The property was overall in excellent condition but on the last night we noticed some mould spots on the blanket. Nothing major but just was worrying after sleeping on them for 3 nights. The apartment is right on a main street and near to many of the popular bars and restaurants.

Pros: - Location: Very central, <5 mins walk from Baixa-Chiado metro, easy to reach from airport, near major tourist attractions - Communication: Confirmation of arrival time, greeted by friendly receptionist to ensure check-in is done smoothly - Room amenities: Hairdryer, heater, shampoo/body soap, a bottle of water and nespresso coffee as well as small open wardrobe to hang clothes provided - Shower: Strong pressure and hot water Cons: - Room location: We had 1 of the 2 rooms on the patio which means we needed to exit the main building on level 1 to get to our room. It was raining the whole weekend we were there so we were often soaked when walking to the room (even though it's only a few seconds walk, it was cumbersome). There was no front door mat in the room so we had to walk in with wet shoes and create a mess. - Room cleanliness: There were flies in the room when we entered and smelled musty (presumed it was from the heater as it turned on when we inserted the room key). Floor was constantly sticky. Some stains on towels. - Bed comfort: There's a thin cloth given below the thick blanket but I doubt the blanket is washed and changed after each guest

A few days in Lisbon!

Great location, loved the balcony overlooking the active street so nicely decorated for Christmas.

We stayed 7nights in Garrett 48 apartment. It was very comfortable with a basic kitchen suitable For preparing breakfast and lunches.Enormous bathroom with a double sink and huge walk-in shower from the window we could see the cruise ships on the river. Views over the city from other windows Easy walking to the two train stations and time out market for evening food and drinks, Shops on the doorstep . Lovely staff including the maintenance gentleman who was able to give us advice when we needed it. Great stay would definitely recommend here

Excellent location for everything

The staff were fantastic! The space was a very good size. Very central location to water and Rossio square. The staff answered questions quickly on what’s app.

There is no wifi in the home and it's very humid overall.

These accommodations are newly renovated apartments in an 18th century building. Right on Rua Garrett, where those who want to see and be seen have been visiting for 3 centuries. The downside is it’s quite crowded on the street, day and night. The upside is its fab location, close to shops and transport of all kinds and very safe. The office personnel are all super helpful. While they are not always in the office (and leave at 5:30 or 6) the phone number provided will answer any questions pretty quickly through WhatsApp texts. Our room was on the 5th floor facing the street. There is a giant crane across from our building but the windows are well sealed and we have a good AC/heating unit, so minimal noise. There is a full kitchen, fridge, glasses, cups and other dish ware if you want to take some meals in. Bed is large and comfy, bath is spacious with shower stall. The rain head and handheld sprayer deliver hot water immediately with excellent pressure. A lighted magnifying mirror is perfect for make-up application. We were there a week and on the 3rd day, there was cleaning service. Otherwise not.

Overall the location is excellent, the apt. Is very clean. Though one night there is no hot water in the apt. until the next morning. Seldomly someone shows up in the front desk. Communication can be improved if someone works at the Front Desk from 9am -6pm. She is pretty responsive to text messages and emails.

Great, central location. Close enough to the airport and transport. Very easy to check in. Spacious apartment with clean, modern amenities. Comfy bed and pillows. Excellent water pressure in the shower. Towel warming rack was very handy.

Lovely apartment in a central district of Lisbon. We had troubles getting their system to accept our credit card upon arrival (despite direct contact with credit card company stating nothing was wrong on their end) but other than that it was an excellent stay.

Truly central and great kitchenette

A lovely young lady greeted us and the check in went smooth. The location is simply perfect, truly central and 1 minute to the Baixa-Chiado metro. The room has lovely balcony (ies) and nice kitchenette. We had a wonderful time in Lisbon.

Location was spot on. Suite was very large and all the amenities even recycling. Would recommend to anyone.

Lovely apartment. Very clean and comfortable with a decent sized kitchenette. Communication was amazing - very fast and helpful! Also in a perfect location right in the centre with many shops and restaurants right next door. Easy access to public transportation, especially the metro being so close by; getting there from the airport was trouble-free.

Nice location! Room has no soap or shampoo so plan to bring your own, or stop at the natural grocery store a block up the road.

Beatiful rooms in restored old building. Centraly located in old town Lisbon. Metro stop half a block away. Grocery store and shopping mall very close. Only bad comment is on a very busy street.

A fabulous and well designed studio which is in the perfect location! Just one suggestion - rather than a blanket be sheet, better to have a duvet with changeable covers - feels more hygienic. There was a small smell in bathroom (106) when we pulled the flush - please check it. Staff at reception was wonderful

A modern and spacious apartment in an excellent location! Everything is walking distance away and there are some excellent dining options around. Although the apartment is on one of the busiest shopping streets, inside it is very quiet and you can’t hear any of the noise. Highly recommended for a stay in Lisbon!

Great location in the centre of the Chiada district. Walking distance to downtown and all transportation. Modern and very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Clean, spacious and in prefect location

We liked that the room was larger sized with a kitchen and supplies. Nice location, easy to communicate with prior to checking in etc. Quiet from any outside noise. Very comfortable stay!we would recommend!

Lovely service, lovely place, super central

The receptionist was there and suuuper helpful. She whatsapped me the day before I arrived which I thought was super nice. We had some issues with our key cards and she did everything she could to help us and fix it.

Really pleasantly surprised about how good the apartment was. Lots of space, big bed, great shower. Plus it’s in an excellent location. Lots of things to do within walking distance. Recommended

They canceled my reservation 4 hours before I was supposed to drop off my luggage. It cost me 200€+ to find another place on short notice

We arrived to check and told although we had confirmation that they didn't have a room for us. We were told this throght the door intercom system rather than in person. This took over a hour to be told this by a rude lady.

Pay a bit more to get the comfort

Amazing room in a superb location. Very clean. Fast WIFI. Bring along your own toiletries if you are staying long. I don't think there's anything to fuss about. Super straight forward apt.

Spacious, location, service. perfect

The property is well located. It is confortable and well maintained. The staff is really kind, helpful and and competent.

We loved the location, amenities and space at the apartments. It was central, easy to find, easy to check in on our own and the apartment itself was huge and very clean! We would absolutely stay again.

A great stay in an excellent location. The room was lovely as were the staff!

Nice boutique hotel, no reception per se but a nice lady, Julia, was present to help us. You ask what you need daily, no maid service was done or required for our 4 day stay. Soundproof windows on a busy street was a nice feature. You cant beat the location, perfect spot. We recommend this hotel.

It was my 2nd stay within 2weeks. Such a pleasant place. Clean and spacious. Juliet was superb receptionist. Most svc apt don't have person there to greet you and help u to settle in. Always wiĺ be my 1st choice of apt. 추천합니다.

Perfect place to stay in Chiado.

The location of the property is great! Its walking distance to many restaurants, bars, shopping area and many of the main attractions. The terminal and main buses are within walking distance. The taxi fare from the airport is around 15 euros. Only downside to this place is the wifi, it barely works so be sure to be prepare if you need it.

Overall stay is great. Big beds. I am not a fan of first floor rooms as it has no view. Same with room 105 and 106. Rooms towards garret street are awesome.

You hear noises from other apartments in the building all night

No WIFI and ZERO communication

Firstly, there was no one there to meet me on time. they somehow thought I was arriving later so I was late for a dinner. On arrival there was only 1 role of toilet paper for a 5 day stay of 2 people. The WIFI did not work the entire stay. I messaged them Aug 14th, called them and messaged an additional 4 times, with videos of how Google didn't even load within 3 minutes and took additional videos. As we booked the place to work and have meetings, it was frustrating that we could not find a single quiet cafe in Lisbon and were bouncing from place to place daily. HotelsCom are trying to get a partial refund on my behalf, but the host has not even responded to them. It's really frustrating as the place was nice, but I'd have preferred to check out earlier, move to a different location, but ZERO communication.

Wifi is poor

Room overall is clean and nicely decorated and located at great shopping location. Only thing to complaint would be the WiFi, the room 205 only barely received a little signal in the room. I have to use my own mobile network basically all the time when I was in the room.

This hotel apartment offered our family a clean, quiet, comfortable place to stay while being in the centre of the historical district of Lisbon. A grocery store close by and a cooktop and fridge in the apartment allowed us to eat well for breakfast and snacks. Digital check-in was easy and efficient.

Unfortunately the management of this property is very poor. The property and location are nice but the management is unpleasant and unhelpful. As an example, they expect each person to go 6 days with one bath towel (no laundry in unit) and react very badly to requests for anything.

Excellent location for central Lisbon in a fashionable shopping area & a good base to explore the city. A safe neighbourhood. Beautifully presented apartment, tastefully furnished & well equipped - HUGE bed. Spotless & modern bathroom. Kitchen area not suitable lots of cooking but adequate for snacks & light meals. Close to many good restaurants for all tastes & budgets. Well sound proofed with highly secure entry system means little danger of theft of valuables. Vibrant neighbourhood with many types of street artists/museums. The only downside is there is no safe for passports & valuables but see above for building security. The common areas are smart & clean.

Location was good

Location was good, the lady who helped us when we checked in was ok. The room was big enough and we had our own space in the courtyard if we wanted to have wine or coffee al fresco. The only thing I didn’t like was the property not providing the tissue roll after we ran out of it. I asked the lady if we do run out she said they are not like hotels that replenish the bathroom amenities. But I was thinking for the price I paid, they can at least provide for what is basic such as this. Anyway, other than that, it wasn’t bad. Location and the room was good.

Loved our stay here! Room was even better than pictured. Large, spacious, well decorated room in central area. Perfect location. Although located in the heart of it all, room was quiet and could not hear noise from the street.

Location is excellent, and walkable to most attractions. Plenty of shops and restaurants around. Safe and quiet.

Great stay

Garrett 28 was a very nice stay. The bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen areas were spacious and very clean. The apartments are located in a good area close to many of the tourist attractions. I deducted 1 star because the wifi was truly awful. I did not have cell service in Europe and had to rely on Wifi so I was not pleased that I basically could not use the internet the whole time there. The floors and ceilings are very thin and creaky and you could hear your upstairs neighbors the entire time. Overall great stay.

Charming, accessible and very comfortable and secure flat, ideally located in a beautiful and central part of Lisbon.

There is no lobby as well there is no place to leave suitcase after 18:00 therefore if you have flight in the evening you must take your suitcase with you. We had a flight in the late evening and we didn’t have any place to leave our suitcases.

We booked the "Apartment, 1 Bedroom (2)". Our apartment was room 202 at the front of the building on the second floor looking out onto Rua Garrett.
