Great stay at great hotel

The whole stay here was excellent. From check-in that was prompt and efficient to the clean, spacious room was very good. Breakfast was massive with lots of variety and the staff cleared the table very quickly after guests were finished. They provided towels for the beach and any transport that we required.

Everything was amazing.

Location is close to the beach and many restaurants. Breakfast buffet offers a lot of selections but the food caters to western tourists - not authentic Vietnamese cuisine.

Great stay at Galliot

Hotel is in a good location, walking distance to the beach. Front desk was very helpful in arranging a taxi for my return to the airport. Also I had booked a tour through a local operator that was late showing up the front desk called a few times to check the status for me and kept updating me without my asking. Pool is quite nice and relaxing.

The receptionist is friendly and nice. She did recommend us the attractions, assist us for airport transport and motorbike rental with reasonable price. Really want to give 5 stars for the receptionist.

Large Russian and Chinese Tour Groups

I was very disappointed in this hotel. While physically quite a nice hotel, the staff seems put upon, and they are, there are herds of Chinese and Russian tourists coming through at all times. The management seems more concerned with theft than service and it shows. I was late for a tour and tried to take a half eaten sandwich from the restaurant and a sign in cyrillic was shoved in my face, saying there was an extra charge. Needless to say the half eaten sandwich went into the bin. Breakfast involves huge lines and the staff can't keep up with demand, so they run out of things, like plates. The hotel pool would be a nice respite if it wasn't maintained at the same temperature as a Siberian lake. I only saw 2 brave souls stay in for longer than a few seconds. Even kids got out and wrapped up. The staff, especially at the front desk, tries, but they are badgered by both the guests and I suspect the management. This was so different from the rest of Vietnam, where the hospitality industry is defined by its, well, hospitality. The hotel is a 21/2 block walk to the beach and in the center of things. I would not recommend this hotel.

Full of big Russian and Chinese tour groups

This hotel tends to cater to large groups of Russian and Chinese tourists. They go to breakfast en masse and are very noisy. On my floor 4 men shared a room and left the door open, so every time you got off the elevator you faced them in various states of undress lounging around on their beds. The pool would be lovely, since it is on the roof, but is freezing cold. I saw a few brave Russians stay in long enough to swim, but most jumped in and out. The staff seems to be watched closely and the guests are too, like you may run away with a towel from the pool or an extra piece of bread at breakfast. In fact, I was late for a tour and was about to take a half eaten sandwich and was shown a sign in Cyrillic that I would be charged. The front desk staff were pleasant, but overall compared to other hotels in Vietnam, the smiles seem forced. This is bus tour hotel and I would not recommend for an individual traveller.The hotel is centrally located, 2 1/2 blocks from the beach and the rooms are clean.

Amazing customer service nd all in all just awsome

We had an amazing experience the staff were welcoming, helpful and assisted us at every turn. The rooms were comfortable, clean and cozy. The hotel is quite close to the beach and all amenities. We would recommend this hotel to anyone and hats off to the amazing reception staff. Thank you.

Not a good choice,

First off we got a room that smelt of mould and had to change our room. The reception staff were pleasant but the hotel generally is not four star. Lower your expectations. Breakfast wasn't good and the serving staff were bored and had no interest in providing service. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this . Not worth the money and far too expensive for that this place is

Nice and modern hotel

The staff were very professional. They were very apologetic and went out of their way to resolve an issue for us involving our driver and the local police. The room was neat and clean. The buffet had great variety. Whenever we were in the corridor to use the lift, we could smell cigarette smokes, not enjoyable as we had young kids.

worth the money

Pros: This is the second time we stayed at this hotel, very friendly staff and room is clean as well. We got free upgrade :) because we booked the wrong one (very happy with customer service). Cons: hotel dining is not good at all, wouldn't recommend you to order food here. Hotel got the spa inside but wasn't great as last year visit and more expensive.

Great service, modern hotel

I arrived on the overnight sleeper bus at about 5.45 am. While the room wasn't ready, they do offer a "pantry" room which has 4 bunk beds and a private bathroom. I was the only 1 in this room which I could use free of charge until my room was ready by around 9 am. This was really appreciated. The room was exceptionally clean, high quality finishes and staff were excellent. It is a very modern hotel. The roof pool was also very nice.

Short stay on Nha Trang

The hotel was in an excellent location less than 10 minutes walk from the beach and very close to a number of really good restaurants recommended on Trip Advisor. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very comfortable, clean and a good size.

I traveled with a person 8n a wheel chair. Hotel was identofied as wheel chair accessible it isn't. A massive steep ramp to the basemebt which required several people to help push the chair up the ramp. Food was pretty average.

Basic, more of a 2* hotel

Small but comfortable rooms, bathrooms need redoing. Room was on the 13th floor, not much of a view, cannot see the sea from the hotel due to other hotels in front of it. Marketed as a 4* hotel, presumably because of the very small rooftop pool and 'gym' which was a room with a few pieces of gym equipment in it. I would rate it more as a 2* hotel: very basic with impersonal service. We were perhaps expecting a little more given its 4 star rating, but it is fine if you are expecting just simple basics. Probably would look for other nicer hotels if I returned to Nga Trang.

Very comfortable Hotel

The first night was heavily booked, so I had an internal,dark room. Transfer to a lighter higher room was possible for the next two nights. Staff friendly, helpful and understanding. Excellent breakfast available.

Great hotel. Lovely spacious room, with a large ensuite. Breakfast is lovely, especially the fresh omelettes. Perhaps pancakes would be a nice addition :). Only criticism is that there is an upstairs bar near the pool and spa. But there is never a waiter there and you have to wait while the spa girls call a waiter from downstairs (which is 16 floors). Even if you want a towel for the pool you end up waiting. Great location, everything is walkable - beach, bars, shops etc.

Great hotel, ticked all the boxes

Pretty good hotel, in the heart of the city. The room is nice and clean. The bathroom is tidy and clean. The bed was comfortable, room was a good size. The breakfast buffet was wonderful, plenty to pick from and always stocked. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Wifi was strong in our room. There is a few good spots of shopping near by, and the beach is about a 5-10min walk. The pool is great and views from the top of the hotel was great also at night. Overall it was a pretty good place to stay, and we would stay here again.

Nice and vibrant city with lots to offer . Hotel is close to action , be it sightseeing, dining , beaches , shopping...staff is friendly and attentive. Room is super comfy.

Great 4**** Hotel

Overall the stay was great, close to some great restaurants and beach, easy walk around the shops. Staff are super friendly and have good English and are always eager to help. Nice roof top bar to relax. They have the best beds that I have stayed in around Asia, nice and soft, not hard like the rest, gives a great nights sleep. Only negative about the stay was that the room filled with the smell of cigarettes every now and then which was a bit sickening.

The worst hotel ! Be warned!

I ve been to Phuket 5 times last 3 years. This is the worst hotel in Phuket . We were picked from the airport to checked in. We paid the driver1300 babt as agreed. After one hour reception staff called to our room and said we didn't pay. We asked them to call the driver but the driver said we only paid 300babt for the tips not the fare. The staff in the hotel was so threatening that if we don't pay up. We would have trouble, for the safely sake. We called the police in the police station the police trust us and asked the driver to pay up but he refused it comes to a very rediculous situation even the police offer to pay for it. For us it's not the money but as a principle we had really paid for it. In the end we paid for it again but we appreciate police effort. The next day morning breakfast is as bad as the previous evening. We asked for eggs the staff was so rude and said in front of us EGG EGG EGG. We asked for noodles and was told no noodle no coffee. I looked at the time it was only 9:30am. The breakfast time is not finished until 10.We never had this bad experience ever wherever we go in the whole world .We checked out and go to the hotel and I am sure any hotel anywhere is better than this one. Please never book this hotel even it is free!

Great value for money

My husband and I went to Nha Trang for an Advanced Open Water diving course. Overall the hotel was great. Very clean, walking distance to the Sailing Club, concierge is eager is please. They helped to book Golden Train tickets for an overnight trip to HCMC. Only had trouble with arranging for taxi rental... Our request for a day tour to Po Nagar became a one-way ride.

Fantastic Surprise

Fa tastic hotel, the staff are friedndly and it's in a great location. It's a little way from the centre but incredibly close to lots of restaurants and the beach. Breakfast also had a large selection to chose from. The only downside was the gym, where all the equipment was broken.

Very good 4 stars in nha trang

Nice hotel overall. Nice room. Breakfast quite good. There's a pool but we didn't use it. The personnel was really nice and attentive. They welcomed us with a glass of homemade ice tea which was a nice gesture. I would stay there again.

Too many group tour

A lot of groups travellers staying in this hotel. the staff said 75 % are Russian, we had came across some Chinese and Thai tours too. Request taxi from this hotel to and from airport is 300,000.00 dong each way cheaper then the normal taxi you get outside the airport, can't trust them even their are using the meter.

A nice hotel not far from the beach

We spent a couple of nights at this hotel. The beach is a short walk from the hotel. There were quite a few Russian people in the hotel but I found them all to be friendly. Breakfast was varied with plenty of choice. I had a massage which was good and reasonably priced. The pool is a bit small so didn't use it. The only negative is that there was no room from the bedroom window but this wasn't a big issue as we were hardly there! Would stay here again

Great stay

Great value hotel- attentive staff- way above expectations - as good as a UK Marriott - actually slightly better- omlette chef and great included breakfast- right over the road from Lanterns restaurant- equally good.

Clean and comfortable hotel

Very comfortable stay within good distance to the beach and on the doorstep of some great places to eat. Great friendly staff, good breakfast with lots to choose from. Rooftop pool but we didnt use this as it got the afternoon sun and the afternoon winds. Would recommend.

First time in Nha Trang

This was our first time staying in Nha Trang so we didn't know what to expect, but we were pretty happy with our room. The bathroom is new and well cleaned, which was the utmost important to us. The view wasn't so great from our room, but going up to the top where the swimming pool was. The view was wonderful to take pictures and to take a look of the city and beach. The staff was very courteous and friendly, they seem genuine with the service provided. My mother left her purse when we checked out the room and called to see if the staff would be able to send it to us via mail since we were flying to Saigon. The staff assured that the purse will be kept safe and that they would do it with no charge. We were surprised with how the staff was so helpful in this situation and as promised, her purse arrived at our hotel in Saigon. We will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that is going to visit Nha Trang.

The Hotel and Staff is a very good value for Money. It was a pleasure to stay at the Hotel and a pleasure to experience the Hotel and the professional and very kind staff. The Location is perfect to any doing in the Center of Nha Trang and the price for the Room just fine.

New hotel,still has some teething problems.

Over all?ok,language problems with staff. Had to ask each day to clean room.Got blamed for cracking a glass we didnt even use.Over priced for what we got,dont think we will stay again @ this hotel.better options available for the amount of money we paid for our 17 day stay,house girls quiet rude .

Galliot - The Seamans Experience ;-)

The Hotel was just amazing good value for Money and the distance to any surrounding Restaurant, Beach and other was just perfect. Front Desk Service perfect and very serious helpful in all respect. Just a wonderful feeling to stay at the Hotel. The only negative is the Guests that do NOT respect walking without T-shirt or other in Elevators or from the Beach, Sweat and Wet that is disgusting lack of respect for fellow Guests.

Great value for money

We really liked this hotel, it was located only 5 minutes walk from the beach, breakfast was adequate but nothing special, the room was big, clean and comfortable, the only problem is there is construction going on for a new hotel right next door so maybe if you like to sleep late it's not for you or ask at reception for a room back from action! the drilling and banging starts at 7am. Lovely crisp linens on the bed, plenty of hot water and wifi pretty consistent.

2개침대, 화장실 전반적으로 가격대비 만족, 단점은 창문이 없어 습한냄새 및 조금 답답함,,곧 적응되긴함. 한국인 없었고 러시아,중국 사람만 있음. 수영장 작지만 깊어서 물높이 괜찮음. 조식 입맛에 맞는게 한개씩은 있어 간단하게 먹을수는 있었음. 이른 퇴실 때 공항에서 먹을 간식 챙겨주는데 매우 만족스러웠음. 가격대비 만족스러움.

조식도 맛있고 친절하시고 깨끗한데 창문이 없어서 그런지 방에서 홀아비 냄새가 나서 힘들었어요.. 그게 좀 아쉽네요.

비상식적인 프런트 직원

체크인시에 여권을 보관하겠다고함. 안된다고 여러번 말하니 복사기 고장났다고 함. 그래도 보관은 안된다고 하니 그럼 어쩌냐고 오히려 물어보길래 필요한거 적고 달라고 하니 그제사 돌려줌. 그러곤 방으로 빨리 가라고 강압적인 어조로 말하고... 제정신인지....

만족스러웠던 호텔

전반적으로 만족스러웠던 호텔입니다. 주변에 신투어리스트가 있어서 다음날 일정을 소화하기 쉬웠고 바다 근처라서 좋았습니다. 다만 아쉬운 점이 있다면 화장실에 있는 창문 때문에 윗층에서 샤워하면서 노래부르는 게 다 들렸습니다. 그것 말고는 다 만족스러웠습니다. 조식을 기대했지만 아침에 바빠서 먹지 못해 조금은 아쉬움이 있습니다.

아주 편안하고 친절했어요~조식 맛있었고 창없는 방이었지만 눅눅하거나 냄새없었어요~모든면이 만족스러웠어요

만족스러운 공간

깨끗하고 데스크 분들도 너무 친절하고 좋았습니다. 조식은 평범하나 과일도 있고 괜찮습니다. 특히 미니 바게트가 너무 맛있네요. 옥상에 있는 수영장도 마음에 듭니다.

여행자거리와 가까워 나짱센터나 식사.바닷가 접근 .. 가격대비 너무너무 만족입니다..체크인도 일찍 해주셨어요..수영장은 작아요.. 잠 위주로 주변 시내관광시 정말 좋은 위치입니다..참 창문은 없어요..그래도 불편함 없었어요.

Après un enregistrement difficile dû à un excès de zèle d’une des employées et que j’ai très mal supporté, tout est rentré dans l’ordre. La chambre correspondait à mes attentes, l’hôtel aussi. Tout est très bien décrit sur le site Hotels.com On peut noter la froideur des employés mais, tout bien considéré ça change de ces débordements obséquieux que l’on supporte dans les autres établissements. Je savais que l’hôtel Galliot accueillait principalement des groupes coréens ou russes. Je n’ai donc pas été surpris du niveau sonore dés 6h30 le matin dans les couloirs ou dans la salle des petits déjeuners qui sont copieux, simples et répétitifs (l’ennuie naquit de l’uniformité). Le fait que l’hôtel loue lui même des petites motos (125cm3) à des prix très corrects est un plus. A noter les tarifs des boissons du mini-bar plus que raisonnables. Attention, l’hôtel se voulant moderne a installé des interrupteurs pour « ne pas être dérangé », demander à ce que la chambre soit nettoyée, la non communication sur ces interrupteurs de la part du personnel peut vous amener à des surprises... exemple : chambre non nettoyée à 17h (l’interrupteur étant sur « ne pas déranger » !!!!...n je n’ai pas osé tester le couple « faire la chambre » et « ne pas déranger »...

周りのホテルと比べても建物が綺麗。ビーチまで5分程度で行ける好立地。プールも綺麗なのが良かった。客室も清潔で、従業員もリクエストには出来るだけ答えてくれるよう努力してくれていた。 空港までの送迎サービスが300,000ドンで、バスの方が安いが、適当なタクシーに乗るよりか安全で良かった。

The minibar prices were great! The gym and the room Wifi need some updates.

フェイスタオル

市中にあるのに海岸線からちょっと入った立地のせいか静めだ。回りの工事中も気にならなかった。 屋上のプールは格別。ちょっと狭いのがたまに傷だけど、、、 チェックアウトの時、フェイスタオルが一つないと言われた。身に覚えがないので知らないと答えると一筆書かされた。きっと掃除スタッフの為なのか？気分は良くなかつたが、物を大事にする精神だと了解した。

룸상태는 깨끗했고, 창문이 없어서 조금아쉬웠다. 조식은 우리입맛에 맞지않아서 많이 먹진못했다. 위치는 완전 해변가는 아니지만 해변에서 걸어가기엔 멀지않은 거리여서 이동시에 불편하지않았다. 리셉션 직원들은 모두친절했고, 이틀동안 편안하게 잘묵었다.

호텔 근처에 해변, 맛집, 여행사 모두 가까워서 편리했어요. 직원들도 신속하고 친절했고, 방도 넓고 깨끗했어요. 수영장 선베드에 파라솔도 잘되있고 타올도 무료로 대여해 줘서 좋았어요. 조식은 뷔페식으로 평범했고, 이 호텔의 단점이라면 방음. 나트랑 주변에 높은 건물들은 대체로 방음이 취약한듯 싶어요.

위치는 아주 좋아요! 방도 가격대비 좋은편입니다~
