Everything was great

Wonderful in all areas except no air conditioning in the unbearably hot suite.

This is one of the best hotels in all of Veracruz. The staff is excellent. The shopping and dining is all around. The beach club is great. This is the only hotel that truly has it all.

Wonderful, unique, historic hotel perfectly located near Reforma and great restaurants.

The property do not offer VIP such as an up grade room even if they got it available I book 3 rooms and request a room with 2 beds the employee at front desk told me I want 2 beds the cost was additional $25.00 per night I told him I asked for the same issue at Mexico City hotel of the same chain and they gave it to me without any problems they told me happy to help you Mr Malagon as Expedia VIP member we are happy to help you. Very different treatment at Galería Plaza Veracruz, the manager who was listening said sorry to interrupt the customer is right we will give you the room with 2 beds at no additional charge because you are VIP customer at Expedia

Best place to stay for shopping and walking everywhere. Bathroom sink had a funny smell maybe for the high tide

We arrived at the hotel which is inside of a mall. Very convenient and close to various eateries. Next to the World Trade Center. Definitely worth the price! Very nice staff

Everything was really good the service was great but the food was amazing the only thing is the elevators aren’t working so well but other than that this hotel was great.

A hotel smell murky, the beds were uncomfortable. The balcony we got had cigarette butts, which means it was not clean between patrons use,

There's a mall downstairs with plenty of options for shopping and for fast food restaurants. Valet parking with courteous and professional staff. The pool was under renovation but there was a bus service to a nearby one. Great place to stay if you're going to be out exploring the city.

Our stay was very comfortable, the staff was nice and hotel was very clean. It was nice to have the mall attached to the hotel and the beach is in walking distance to the hotel. Opportunities for the hotel is pool looks torn up, trying to get to the hotel from the entrance is a nightmare cause taxis and buses stop right at the entrance and causes traffic and they need to do a better job of covering their bread there was always flies on it when i went down for breakfast. Overall i loved my stay there and i would defenatly stay again.

Excellent ubicación and a very nice and friendly place to stay. The hotel Manager Fede was very nice when we had a little truoble in the assignated room and she gave us the option to choose a nicer room at not extra charge.

The hotel is uniquely located inside and on top of a shopping plaza which makes it so convenient for food and shopping as well.

I find this property super convenient. It is located annexed to one of the best malls in Veracruz, so you literally have everything within walking distance. In addition to that it's got an indoor pool, a very good size gym and ai really enjoyed their outdoor pool also, even though they close kind of early (6pm daily), which has a small restaurant/bar area and it's right in front of the beach so you can do either or.

It is always a pleasure to stay at the Galeria Plaza when I am in Veracruz. The staff is great. The rooms are always clean. The beach club is great. I can only say good things about this hotel and its staff.

Very clean with an upscale feel. Safe. did not like the staff, while they were polite and extremely efficient in performing their duties, they were not approachable nor flexible.

The breakfast was exceptional and the live music really sounded lovely. The only thing is that it is not beach side, a golf cart has to take you down to the beach

Rooms are small. Need further cleaning and inspection to avoid pests. Concerns were addressed, Staff is great and the food is really good.

Great location, situated conveniently within Plaza Americas Shopping Mall to maximize your time. The fish tank near the elevator adds a delightful touch, and wheelchair access is available. The rooms are impeccably clean, and the restaurant offers a buffet with delicious dishes boasting excellent flavor. Moreover, the restaurant remains open until 11 p.m., with great atmosphere that patrons appreciate. It features a covered pool and a beach club. It's not necessary to use the car to get to the club or to the two shopping centers near the hotel. The hotel provides transportation to the first one, and you can walk to the second ones.

The gentleman that helped me check-in was beyond helpful and extremely patient. The lady the cleaned my room was also super sweet and amicable.

This hotel always has the best service and customer service at the front desk.

The staff was very picky about the lobby. Did not feel comfortable hanging out with friends. They prohibit snacks in the lobby and were very particular about sitting in certain furniture. Just not welcoming. When I checked, and I asked for a room upgrade and my request was ignored did not explain if they did or did not have capacity.

Not happy with hotel rules. You are not allowed to drink anything in lobby, not even water. Our group wanted to hang out in lobby, since we all don’t fit in a room. Some of us had water, soda or coffee. We were told we couldn’t drink anything in lobby. There was a party in the room next to our friends room. If you want to call it a party guys with working girls. They made lots of noice til 4 am. And hotel staff did nothing to stop them. We will Never stay there again!!

Location, location, location. Friendly, helpful staff. Good breakfast in hotel restaurant. Overall, good value for the price of the stay.

Everything in the hotel was outstanding including the brunch buffet. The minor issues were that the Dish satellite service to watch TV kept dropping off and there was no microwave in the room.

You can’t beat the location! The amenities also make it a top hotel in town.

Everyone was super friendly & helpful, but the buffet for breakfast wasn’t worth the $800 pesos. The plantains were hard and cold, the rest of the food was ok. The pool beach was also ok. I never got a waiter to come around for drinks, so I had to get up and asked for a menu. But I love that I got to check in early. Thank you to the front desk!!

Great stay

Habitaciones limpias y súper cómodas. Hotel moderno y totalmente funcionable. El desayuno incluido es más que excelente!!! Todos muy muy amables. 100% recomendado.

Good staff. The rooms are big, comfortable and attractive. Attached to a mall, so great shopping. Food is very good. Great breakfast buffet. Only small issue has been the shower in several of the rooms. They look great, and are super comfortable. They have great water pressure, but they are slow to drain, and you can make a mess if you’re not careful. Favorite place to stay in the area.

Club playa service

My staying at the hotel was very nice except when I was at the playa club. There was a waiter but he didn’t go around to ask if clients needed to order something. Clients were calling out the waiter to come over so clients could order something.

Lindo hotel

Muy limpio muy bonito lo único el club de playa debería estar al mismo nivel que el hotel con mejores camastros y las palapas cambiar esos tubos de PVC con lona que bajan la categoría de el hotel necesitan también esmerarse más en los cócteles pero la verdad mi experiencia fue muy grata ojalá que tomen en cuenta estos dos puntos para que pueda mejorar aún más

Every one of the staff was helpful and so friendly. I definitely look forward to my next trip to Boca del Rio and another stay here. I am learning Spanish and the staff did their best to speak to me in Spanish but a little slower so that I could understand and I appreciated that rather than switching to English.

We had a great visit. We very much enjoyed the beach club and indoor swimming pool. It was nice to have the breakfast buffet and enjoy the lobby and live music in the mornings.
