Noisy in morning, disturbing my sleeping

Basic hotel not special

Average hotel nothing special , for the price you’re paying you cant complaint . Would not pay anything more than 40$ for this place.

Hotel doesn't accept credit card as deposit. Quite a turn off for this. Luckily they are willing to accept $100RM instead of $200RM for deposit. It gets a bit noisy in the middle of the night as the area is known for its nightlife.

G5 Hotel

The stay was fine, but the hotel internet is not too reliable. I have 3 devices and only 1 device was able to log in after many failed attempts, and when it did log in the signal strength is 2 bar maximum.

There’s stain on the pillow

If you drive, make sure you ask where exactly to park your vehicle, or else they clamp even though there is no "Clamp-Zone" at all the parking lots around the vicinity.

Will not returned.

Bedsheet and blanket are with stain. Carpet got a red big patches. Stay just right behind receptionist which is leavel 2 and level 1 is carpark. Disappointed with overall stay.

Really nice room . Big comfortable beds . Good bathroom with lots of free things . Location great for food and shopping . Highly recommended

The ram for luggage was not properly designed. Room smell bad with cigarette oder. No face tower and hand tower.

nearby f&b options are excellent. also, foot refexology & massage services are nearby.

There was no hot water. The water heater was faulty. Had to shower in cold water. Was only allowed 1 additional pillow. Alot of dragging of furniture sounds in the morning abt 8am when sleeping.

We booked this hotel by mistake and immediately called Expedia to cancel. They called the hotel and they said this is a non-refundable booking and we can not do anything! I would guess other customer services are similarly terrible.

We stayed there for one night and the stay there was good. Room was clean and the recep allows us to check out latest at 12:30pm Many eateries and pubs nearby. Tried the lok lok stall beside the hotel and it was good. I feel safe when returning to hotel late at night as the nearby stalls do open till late night.

I really like the service provided as they were able to let us check-in on time. The bed is super comfy and I felt asleep really fast, even though I'm someone who have a hard time falling asleep in a new environment.

overall is clean, furniture old, pricey compared to the condition of the room.

Comfortable

Great stay kinda far walking distant to KSL about 30 min by grab is $5.There is food around door step.Nice place spacious and clean except tv by signal nothing to complain will recommend.

Overall a good stay

been couple of times staying at this place, very near to Sg. easy to find & space for parking. staff is friendly & can speak proper English, quick check in. Room is quite spacious, air-con working well with hot shower. Bed is comfy and there are a handful of wall plugs for 3-pin adaptors. Place is consider quiet & good for a short stay. There are eatery, food courts & Lok Lok trunks just outside the hotel. Overall a good stay

Dirty room.

The room is damn dirty. Never even clean the room. Yucky..

one of the worst hotel i ever stay at JB

-room does not have wifi -room was in a very bad condition and dirty there was plaster laying around at the tables. -dining table with lots of stains. -aircon was not cold, ask for assistance hotel send ksl technician over. -hot water piping damage, as per technician they will ask Front Desk to do a room change, but this was an empty promise came back and check with Front Desk they pretend nothing can be done and they are full booked. -inform Front Desk for clean up room not done then inform us back like we own them -horrible service ever -no wifi for service apartment -does not deserve the rates of SGD 100++ a night

Not worth the price

The hotel was so run down.Level one and very dirty and crack walls.Strongly not recomend to stay.Not worth the price.No breakfast.The air con is not cold and the safe is out of order.

Toliet isnt very clean and bed felt slightly itchy. Probably the location was near residential area, i was awoken by the sound of fireworks at approx 12am

hotel only issue 1 room card despite after i had requested for another

Old and poor maintenance. Many baby cockroaches in the toilets and bedrooms. Pillow cases and bed sheets are stained. Made a request to hotel staff to change the towels on the 2nd day. They promised to do it but they didn't. Completely no wifi in the rooms. Totally no signal. Will not recommend to stay here. Definitely will not book this hotel again.

G5 Hotel JB

Location of hotel is good. Easily navigate through Grab to around food eatery and KSL mall. Breakfast don't expect much, simple Nasi lemak, fried meehoon and Mee. Clean room and hot shower is available. Overall stay experience is good.

Like: The hotel is near to KSL. Great location and convenient. Hotel provide good variety of food for breakfast. Overall room is clean and hotel like. Dislike: Book a room for 4 pax but only provide toiletries for 2pax need to ask for extra. Saw one lizard in our room.

Breakfast always the same.

Room was not very clean. There was a used bedroom slippers tucked on the sofa seats. Old stains were found on the bedsheets and the staff wanted to charge me for it.

The stay was comfortable but the condition of the room was not very pleasant sight. Peeling paint and botch up wall work. The toilet is not elderly friendly. Need a climb a wide step of one foot high. The breakfast was nice and variable enough. I may come back if given a better room.

Worth for the money

Fussless check in. Room is spacious, big, attached a balcony. Able to fix up to four person. Location is good too, breakfast was simple, nasi lemak was delicious.

Trendy decor, good value for money

We checked in after midnight and was promptly welcomed by a friendly staff member. Great decor — very trendy boutique style and Instagram-worthy. Only let downs were the breakfast (very small spread, no variety) and pool (small and awkwardly-situated in the building; not very welcoming vibe to take a dip). Overall good value for money though.

As the hotel rooms are located in one of the level in the condo apartment , it’s qutie a hassle to wait for the lift as there’s only one lift and it was being shared by the residents in that condo and as well as the hotel guests. We waited for about 10 mins for the lift. And worst of all, the cleaner use the same lift to move the rubbish to the ground which creates a very weird smell in the lift.

Staff was unhappy when told we should get breakfast for 6 instead of 4. When asked for more towels, staff refused unless an exchange is done. Perhaps he did not understand what ‘extra’ meant. 🙄

Not a good service , it wasreally a bad experienced for us - our room card could access to one of the rooms, which concerns us most as we were expecting a good security in the hotel. Pls take note

Was staying in the executive room. The ceiling was full of brown colour marks. There was some noise, I believe came from the ceiling (probably rats running)

Average stay.

It was still okay, however cockroaches were found crawling around my room as well as my friends room. Walls were looking a little run down, ants were seen crawling over the table tops. Apart from that, the rest are still alright for an average stay.

It was our second stay at G5 & this time we had a midnight check-in but it was fuss-free. There was a deposit of Rm100 upon check-in. Have not tried their breakfast but area around the hotel has many eateries. Pleasant overall experience.

Upset and disappointed

Was promised free WIFI on your website, but when we check in, they mentioned that Service Apartment no wifi. so i have to rushed out buy sim card and data to port to my laptop as i have work to get done. inconvenience. Only the check in went smoothly, the receptionist guy is super helpful and understanding. Only hotel lobby is nice. Service apartment when we entered there are several cockroaches. But the beds are comfortable and the apartment is spacious. I find the service apartment interior not bad but not the building. Breakfast service is horrible. Breakfast not much choices. but the bad thing is, the fried rice we took has a stench and when i dig into it, it was slimy as it is turning bad. So we inform the waitress to remove the fried rice since it is turning bad, instead of apologising, she argue back saying all is ok coz her supervisor said so. she said it is because of the steam and the oil. I inform her because i do not want other guests to eat it and suffer stomachache, and of coz i know the difference between a freshly cook fried rice and a stinky rice that turning bad smell. i cook, i ate fried rice most of the time, i know the smell and the texture. this is literally the rice is turning bad and i am just letting her know that she should look into it, instead giving me excuse because of the oil and steam? Never coming here again!
