Whilst we had a large and spacious balcony (first floor apartment) there was no balcony furniture and the floor of it was dirty (cigarette butts). Water pressure in the shower was ok but not fantastic. Water temperature nice and hot. No exhaust fan in the bathroom; I only had short showers and the mirror did not steam up. The lift made groaning noises, and there is obvious lift works not completed (there is a sign stating as such, which indicates it's been like this for a considerable amount of time). Bed quite firm. Bedrooms quite stuffy; air conditioner only in the lounge room. Had to unplug a bedside lamp to plug in my phone charger to have my phone on bedside table. Ample wardrobes in both bedrooms although there was no full length hanging space in one of the bedrooms, only half height hanging and shelves. Mirror on the inside of one of the wardrobe doors. Some skirt and shirt hangers in wardrobe. Couch had quite a few dirty marks on it. Loud music played Friday and Saturday nights until 1am. Entrance to the car park is a *VERY* tight corner. Other family scraped the side of their hire car when exiting. Also have to be *extremely* close to the gate for the remote control to work - this is known by the management as the reception staff advise this is how it is. When on a very steep incline, trying to deal with this was stressful. Very convenient location with a supermaket and eateries within easy walking distance.

The condition of apartment only just average. lift broke down during stay and customer support about this VERY poor. No daily apartment service happened despite being told it would. bathroom floor not clean and very stuffy in the bedrooms.

Great stay close to the East end of town and also Rundle Mall, although East End was much more our style. Great room, good staff at the front desk. Only issue was no safe in the toom.

Staff were lovely. Location is good. The main downfall is the smell from the downstairs restaurant is very overwhelming and filters through the whole hotel. There is also quite a bit of noise from neighbouring pubs.

My daughter, her 3 friends and I were welcomed from the beginning of our stay til the end. It was my daughters birthday and they had some charlesworth nuts awaiting. It was lovely.

Perfect location for Adelaide CBD/East end. Very comfortable in all aspects and very quiet with regard to street noise. Could hear some noise from neighbours in adjacent room, which was the only drawback. Would stay again - highly recommend for solo travellers and business travel.

I really enjoyed the lovely bed and light from windows. I enjoyed it was quiet Found the bathroom a bit small so couldnt put all my toiletries in there. Also the couch was sagging and couldnt sit in it properly. VERY friendly and informative staff

Decent serviced apartment in an excellent location a few steps away from Rundle street dining options and a short away from Rundle mall shopping. Safe and quiet across the road from a police station. Highly recommend.

Excellent location to the main CBD area shopping centres. Walkable distance to key offices in the CBD. Everything excellent except careful along the narrow ramp down to the underground car park if driving SUVs.

This property was close to the Fringe so was perfect for our needs. Parking was on site so this was an unexpected bonus

A very pleasant stay

Location of ad exactly what we needed the check in process was fast and the staff lovely. The beds are so hard it’s like sleeping on a concrete slab there was also no aircon in the bedroom of our apartment so it’s really really hot which made it hard to sleep. Other then that the place is clean but wouldn’t recommend for more then a one night stay.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Apartments are large and clean. Really comfy beds. We appreciated that you could do laundry free of charge here and they provided washing liquid.

We liked the ease of our after hours check in. The location of our apartment was close to shopping & dining facilities and it was great to have an underground car park designated to us. We stayed here 6 years ago found that things seemed much the same as the last time we were there. Our apartment was clean and very roomy. The Staff were very friendly and obliging too. The only issue we had was a broken drawer and we think it would have been a good idea for the property owners to make sure everything is safe and in working order before people stay there. Overall we had a fantastic time in Adelaide and it was great to come back there at the end of a long day and feel so comfortable and have cooking and washing facilities on our apartment. We would highly recommend Frome Apartments to families.

The apartment was great. Location amazing. Did have issue with parking garage doors not opening one day but good alternative provided however we did have to chase them - they did not inform us in advance. Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

I’m not one to ever leave a negative review but me, nor the 3 other people who stayed at the property with me were impressed. I stay at hotels often for work and I wouldn’t stay here. Positives first. Good location for what we needed it for, big apartment, quiet hotel, cute Christmas tree in the lobby. Negatives (sorry) Check in was hard? The person was hard to understand and I seemed like an inconvenience because I couldn’t understand a lot of what was happening. Everything just seemed so complicated. He was however friendly enough. Dirty pillows, reception closes at 5pm, Exhaust fan in bathroom was so loud we couldn’t sleep (no option to turn it off) the bedrooms were so hot with no ventilation or cooling. None of us had a good sleep. The reason for us staying was as we were attending an event across the road, so very convenient for us to be able to walk across the road to our hotel. But mid next year I have another event at the same venue and I’ll be choosing to stay elsewhere even if that means a bit of a walk or catching a Uber. For $400 a night it seems very steep for the quality of the place. I would hope this review is taken in the right way as a lot of things seem to be something that could be fixed quite easily (e.g. dirty pillows)

Very friendly and helpful reception staff

Facilities are very old and not working. Booked a serviced apartment purposely to be able to use a washing machine and dryer after a hiking trek in the Flinders Ranges (which was included in the booking notes before arriving) The dryer was broken. They did not leave any notes or updates on the maintenance of it. The shower head was almost falling iff the wall and had super low water pressure. I had noted my arrival time would be between 3-5pm depending on when I finish work. Upon checking in at 4:30 the concierge told me off for "being late" and not answering their 2 phone calls. The staff spend most of their time hiding behind the screen at the check in desk and there is no bell to call them so people just awkwardly wait until someone feels like wandering out from behind the screen. The facilities and the customer service could do with a major upgrade.

We enjoyed our stay

We were very pleased with the quietness of our apartment considering we were facing Frome street and the central location to all that Adelaide offers, but that was probably about all that was excellent about the apartment. The problems we encountered. The very small bar fridge was unable to keep our drinks cold cool was about the best it could do. We wanted to put our wineglasses and bottles of water in the freezer to rapidly call them but unfortunately the freezer compartment was 1/3 blocked of an thawed ice that has been accumulating for an extended amount of time rendering the freezer part useless. This led to the two wine glasses that we put into the freezer falling out and smashing across the tiles when we opened the fridge door. The shower screen is very dangerous it is made of glass and is of the thinnest material. Each time we had a shower we had to make sure that we gently closed The very thin glass shower door , otherwise we’ve been another situation with broken glass. But generally the apartment is very tired the decor and furnishings date back 20 years and are completely underwhelming.

Excellent location in the East end of Adelaide’s main shopping and restaurant precinct. We booked a 2brm apartment with a large main but too small second - twin beds were very narrow. Disappointed we didn’t get one of their apartments with a large kitchen (after checking that we had one with a full kitchen) as we were there 7 days and would have liked to cook something. The swipe cards kept failing but luckily the reception is manned 24hrs with good staff so no issue with a fix. Overall it met our needs and we’d stay there again as was well priced.

In a good location with friendly staff and clean. However in need of a total refurb, strange room layout, only one a/c. Poorly insulated we heard our neighbours stomping around upstairs. One of the Bedroom windowS looks out into an atrium And public hallway and no privacy, you need to keep curtains closed. Check room layouts before booking.

Good location for the hotel. The staff need more training in speaking to their guests .the manager was quite rude & abrupt ..the keys in the rooms hardly work & this is frustrating especially when you arrive to your room & the keycard just will not work...I would pick a different hotel next time.

Budget hotel with bad manners.

Turned up at 11am and was told my room wouldn't be ready until 1pm. No lobby area to hang out in, empty cafe/restaurant in hotel blasting tasteless dance music. So went for a walk and came back at 1pm. Told STILL not ready, asked to come back at 2pm. Front desk staff not very friendly at check-in or out. Just going through the motions. Despite signage at reception and in the lift advertising complimentary 12pm check-out, still got a call in room at 10:15am asking when I would be leaving? Nice.

The location is excellent, close to central Adelaide and many shops and restaurants. Lovely park near by which is worth a visit. The staff are all very friendly especially the front desk people. The rooms are a bit old but ours was very large and comfortable I was surprised that no housekeeping was included regardless of length of stay.
