Went for the first time to Cairo, had our doubts but soooo worth the visit. If you get the chance to upgrade the room to suite do it. We stayed at a suite with garden, zoo and pyramid views breathtaking. The service is exceptional, the room service meals amazing. Well worth the price. Would stay there a million times more. We were sooo sad to leave. They made our stay unforgettable.
Great place and helpful staff
Property is old and need a face lift, rooms outdated
Best hotel to stay.
Not value for money at all. Really old and poorly preserved.
best personal . In our experience, this hotel was like a gem amidst the pollution. Excellent and attentive staff. They surprised one of our companions by sending him a birthday cake. Thanks to the hotel management.
very good service and particularly salma who helped us when my daughter left her phone in the taxi
Not worthy of the four seasons name. Old and dated.
Fantastic experience! We were very pleased with the entire staff and the service was excellent. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat. We had the most memorable stay! Thank you so much everyone; we will visit again.
Excellent breakfast, supply water. Free shuttle to nearby restaurant. Excellent restaurants on the property as well. Great security. View of the property and the Nile is amazing!
Traffic loud from outside room. Bathroom door handle problem. They fixed it immediately. Staff very nice!
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. We stayed in the Diplomatic Suite. Upon arrival gues services had left a cake for our anniversay in our room. Our sons were well looked after by the staff. They enjoyed the pool, playing billiards in the Char Bar a d spotting the different animals in the zoo from our balcony. Food is sublime in all the restaurants and the First Nile boat is an added bonus. We didn't mind catching a taxi into places like Zamalek as it was only 15 mins away (just across the bridge) and cost approx £2. Thank you to all the wonderful staff who made the stay extra special. No expense is spared and anything at all you need, the staff will discreetly arrange it. I don't make a habit out of revisiting hotels, but if I am in Cairo again, this hotel is where I will be.
A regal experience. We can wait to come back.
The Hotel was great and I felt safe! The staff was kind and helpful. Recommend it
5 star - lives up to The Four Seasons name
What an exceptional hotel - lived up to the Four Seasons status and the food at Zoe and Lebanese restaurant were both delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were 10/10, you every need was attended to and we were served with such professionalism. Breakfast was expensive and we would have rather an a la carte as opposed to buffet.
The Concierge Service is a total disaster. Unable to solve any problem o requerimient. Bad actitud in general.
Such a great haven for my son and I traveling solo. They were so kind and caring for us. We felt at home.
Beautiful pool and service is excellent
First-class support from the hotel staff, perfectly clean, great location and an amazing view of the Nile river. Being on the west side of the Nile provided convenient access to the Great Pyramids and museums.
Personnel and hotel was fine, but the location did not offer anything to do.
Loved this hotel so much … everything is amazing
Excellent
The best
High quality although very pricey for one night my rate was $404 USD. Although it was more expensive then I would have liked I had a nice view of the pyramids in the background.
All the amenities in the hotel were excellent. The hotel personel was very attentive. The room was very clean and comfortable.
Everyone at the property is incredibly nice and helpful ❤️ thanks for an amazing and awesome hospitality
The property was nice.
So stunning and the staff was above and beyond the typical already amazing Four Seasons level of care and attentiveness.
Overall stay was excellent.
The staff were exceptional.
Great stay
The property was dated and not new. It is not the usual fours seasons style.
The staff is the best!! Everyone was always helpful at all times and very friendly! Great place to stay!
Great place to stay , everything was new and clean .
Everyone that worked there seem to add to the great Experience
Overall it was good to stay
An Unexpected Delight at the Four Seasons, Giza
Our recent stay at the Four Seasons in Giza/Cairo was an unplanned serendipity, transforming a travel hiccup into a memorable experience. Originally stranded due to severe weather that disrupted our journey from Alexandria and caused us to miss our flight, we found ourselves unexpectedly at the doors of the Four Seasons. From the moment we checked in, the competence and attentiveness of the staff were evident. Their warm and professional approach turned our initial disappointment into a feeling of being genuinely cared for. The highlight of this exceptional service was a complimentary upgrade, a gesture that speaks volumes about the hotel's commitment to guest satisfaction. The room itself was a haven of comfort, boasting what might just be the best mattress in the world. This, combined with the tranquil ambiance of the hotel, ensured a restful and rejuvenating stay. It was the perfect reset we needed after the stress of disrupted travel plans. Overall, our experience at the Four Seasons in Giza/Cairo was a delightful surprise that gracefully ushered us into the new year. It's a testament to how unexpected circumstances can lead to wonderful experiences, especially when you're in the hands of a world-class establishment like the Four Seasons. This hotel is more than just a place to stay; it's a place where unfortunate events are transformed into cherished memories.
A few things have changed since years of being guests there, but thankfully attentive ranking staffers like Ms Noha, Mr Kareem, and Mr Mahmoud made huge efforts to remedy by accomodating "request" as well upgraded room.
Upscale classic hotel in Nile side area of Cairo. The hotel is a bit older and less up to date than more recent hotels. The elevators are quirky and have two different sets of keys to get to your room. Room was spacious and overlooked the tired zoo area of town. They built an apartment building between the hotel and the Nile so no water views from this venue. The best (or worst) is their Nile Boat restaurant has to be accessed by walking across a busy three lane highway-no cross walk or bridge! Very Egyptian. Breakfast is magnificent and best we had throughout the Middle East. So a mixed bag but we will go back.
The Wi-Fi did not work consistently and often dropped. Staff was very attentive and pleasant. Hotel was clean. The area around the hotel with the exception of the restaurants on the river was not clean
We had a wonderful visit. Moamen was a great host! Mustafa is Aura took extremely good care of us. You are lucky to have them. The room 820 was beautiful and we loved our beautiful oasis after busy days.
I traveled to Cairo for my 50th birthday, with my teenage son. With this being our first trip to Egypt, and knowing that I wanted to have a comfortable experience while traveling, I decided that the Four Seasons First Residence would be the best option.Prior to arrival, I corresponded with hotel staff, and let them know that we were traveling for my birthday. Arrival and check-in were seamless. We were immediately greeted by an attendant who took our bags to our room. Check in was very easy, and every front desk agent we worked with was wonderful. I don't recall the name of the young lady who assisted us, but she was absolutely wonderful. Please check to see who the front desk attendant was in the evening on 9/9 an. Upon arrival to our room, I was surprised to find a birthday cake, card and other pastries and bedside slippers. Our room was large and very comfortable. WiFi was as fast as my WiFi at home, and most walls already have universal outlets. The hotel is connected to The First Mall, a luxury shopping center that's open until 10pm. La Gourmandise, a hotel restaurant, is also in the mall. They have the most beautiful French pastries, and a full menu. We checked out on the 12th and returned on the 14th, to find MORE birthday amenities, including falafel (after I mentioned that I love it) a cake and embroidered "Happy Birthday" pillow! I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful experience. Thank you!
Amazing service & staff
We loved this beautiful hotel! The staff were exceptional. Youssef in room service in particular was amazing! We had a view of the pyramids from our room. There's a view of the Nile river from the gym. The gym is amazing and so is the outside pool. The cabanas are free for hotel guests which I loved. They didn't skimp us on anything and all of the staff were lovely. We will be returning!
The room furniture is old, very bad. I was given a smoking room and my request was non-smoking which had a bad smell had to move rooms which took almost a day and two extra hours to manage the move with the staff. The property shouldn’t be a four seasons at all.
Most beautiful Hotel in Cairo, combines Elegance and Class. They have the best and most professional employees in Egypt.
The hotel was a diamond in the rough. Not located in the best neighborhood but inside the premises it was one of the most gorgeous hotels I have ever stayed! The staff was very nice, the suite was stunning, and the food amazing! The First mall of Giza was breathtaking, the spa unbelievable, the pool was next level. We enjoyed hooka in the bungalows by the pool and enjoyed wonderful drinks at the lounge. It was a fantastic honeymoon trip we will always treasure.
Very good service good stuff friendly and helpful
Excellent service and food.
The lobby people great service everyone in this hotel is nice
Friends trip
Room was nice and clean. I sleep good.
It was beautiful! The staff were friendly and treated us like VIP. We would definitely stay there again.
Property itself is nice, however getting around of hotel was unsafe. Busy streets with no rules and safety guidance. Staff are super friendly
The entire staff was extremely friendly! I want to recognize Mr. Youssef Khalid at the front desk. He was very kind and professional. He is very well-mannered and he made me feel very welcome to the hotel. I also wish to recognize Miss Elina - Guest Experience Manager. She was very gracious and made my hotel stay very comfortable and pleasant. She is also a very skilled staff member who greets and assists her hotel guests with great enthusiasm and courtesy. I had a very memorable stay at the Four Seasons Giza.
From check in to check k it everything was amazing! The staff was very friendly and professional and all willing to help us with anything we needed. Will definitely be back as I will be taking my mom to see beautiful, historic Cairo
Beautiful Property, needs some care to keep up the class and elegance
Good hotel in good area.
Fabulous service and food. Very good service for theatre tickets, boats etc. car was too expensive.
Great stay!
Air conditioner and outlet are old though they work properly
The staff was amazing, very helpful
The Four Seasons at First Residence is the perfect example of old-style elegance with added modern features of enhanced dining and shopping. We were part of a tour group, but arrived a day early to ensure that we could have delays, but still start the tour on time. We arrived very late (~2AM) and found that we had been upgraded to a much higher category room - a very pleasant surprise. The buffet breakfast was wonderful, the staff very friendly and eager to provide the best possible service. Other meals within the hotel complex were equally pleasant and reasonably priced. In general, a top notch place to stay in Cairo.
Spacious, quiet, clean rooms. Very friendly helpful staff. Understated luxury. Free fitness center facilities, of which I made use. Choice of several restaurants, with excellent dining.
The hotel is complete luxury! They spoiled us rotten - we received an upgrade to a gorgeous room and they delivered a cake to our door to celebrate my partner’s birthday. The facilities are wonderful and the staff are so friendly and helpful. The whole experience was a complete treat from beginning to end.
Front desk staff were very pleasant and helpful. In fact, all staff throughout the hotel proper - at reataurants and bars, housekeeping - and in the attached mall were friendly and always eager to help. We very much enjoyed our first few days in Egypt because of the facilities and personnel at the Four Seasons.
Staff made this property and experience. Definitely worth staying here.
Great service and staff. Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.
Excellent service and amenities as always in ant Four Seasons property.
Beauty, Cleanliness, professional and accomodative staff, efforts to meet guest needs, gym, (coed and female gym for muslimah) clean and heated pool. Location comvenient for my family needs. Alongside corniche for walks or jogs, high end mall attached, lovely dinner cruise/boats nearby. WAS BUSY YET ACCOMODATED our early arrival (10:30 am) & subsequentally gave us a beautiful room upgrade to facilitate a personal/family request.
Four seasons stay was excellent. Will visit again.
Overall property was good. Clean and great restaurants. Staff were responsive. My only issue is that I requested the room be decorated for my birthday and was assured ti would be however when I arrived it was not. Also, when I left my room for a short period during the evening I came back to a guy from housekeeping in my room and was startled when I came in, quickly grabbed my personal blanket and began folding it saying he was cleaning, when I looked into the bathroom it had not been cleaned and keep kept saying I'm sorry and left without cleaning anything. It made me extremely uncomfortable and reached out to the concierges to change my room. The concierges were very responsive. The fee for airport pickup is too expensive; 90 dollars for a Hyundai Sonata. Other than that my stay was good.
Worth every penny- we visited 5 different hotels during our stay in Egypt and this was by far the best. The staff was amazing, we felt safe, and the rooms were so comfy. The food was delicious and just felt at home.
Great value, hotel has charm al do needs some face lift Do recomend
The hospitality and cleanliness of the property are top notch. Second time I’ve booked with the hotel and will continue to return for my visits to Egypt. An area of improvement worth mentioning is the door card. I’ve had to replace my door card 4x because it continued to deactivate because it was near a cellphone device. In reality the chances of your card making contact with your cellphone are highly likely whether it’s in a pocket or purse.
Safe/ luxurious
Cairo is an interesting city definitely Third World. Is that yCairo is an interesting city definitely Third Worl. This hotel was safe and luxurious beyond our expectations.
Wonderful hotel !… Food at Aura was excellent, just perfect !
Unbelievably great service and amazing rooms and amenities
Great stay the Four Seasons First Residence
I was only there for one night. However, I was a grand night. The room I was assigned was fantastic. It was clean, spacious, and definitely fit the luxurious Four Season's brand. The hotel had everything that you might need. All the staff were courteous and friendly. The concierge did a great job helping me to find a place to eat and go out for my last night in Egypt.
Everthing was excellent, thank you! had a wonderful stay and the breakfast is delicious.
Staff are super helpful Overall the condition of the hotel is old
Amazing. Just a bit expensive
Need to uplift the internal furniture and state of stuff
Great place to stay!!!! Book now!
Where do I begin! From start to finish service with this hotel was exemplary! They allowed us to check in a tad bit early and while we waited we went to the 4th floor where the pool is and sat at their bar as they prepared our lemon drop martini’s. The bartender was great! The servers were all amazing and very helpful and friendly! The spa and gym exceeded our expectations! The food, Delicious! Room service and housekeeping, outstanding! Front desk, security and all other staff here at the hotel is very happy, willing to assist and professional. Definitely stay here, you will truly enjoy yourself! It’s safe and close to a lot of common areas to visit. We will definitely stay here again!
As usual was perfectly, everything going smooth and excellent employees, Thanks
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five stars for Four Seasons Giza!
One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in my travels around the globe. The service is absolutely impeccable across-the-board! My room was lovely, with a gorgeous view of the Nile. Every department - laundry, room service, housekeeping, bar staff, Reception, security, Spa - were, without exception, exceeding expectations at every turn. As a female solo traveler, I felt incredibly safe and well taken care of. I would like to especially think Mostafa in reception for taking extra care in looking out for my safety, Niti in the spa for an absolutely terrific treatment and relaxing experience, both of the impeccable gentlemen in the bar each evening who showed great hospitality and warmth to me during my stay, the laundry staff who returned my items in just over an hour without even asking for rush service, and the room service staff and chefs - I had several wonderful meals accompanied by prompt service and smiles. I even asked for a late check out due to an evening flight, and they were gracious enough to let me stay in the room until 4 PM, no additional charge. These little details matter a lot, and I am guest for life! I can’t gush enough about how much I enjoyed every element of staying here, and I would not only recommend this location to other travelers, but would never stay anywhere else after having this wonderful experience. Above and beyond, five stars!
The only place to stay in Cairo
We stayed here twice in one week with travel to Luxor in between. Just fantastic service from the entire staff. The concierge was extremely helpful with airport runs and booking tours. The food was wonderful and the rooms were excellent. They were also very accommodating with late checkout. Could not have asked for a better experience from a hotel.
Not sure what qualifies this hotel as a Four Season Hotel. Service across this hotel is by far "terrible". You end up being frustrated by the endless promises staff give as they never get back to you and you end up chasing them through unnecessary phone calls within the hotel. Leaving a message is not enough. Most staff here are great at giving excuses for why things went wrong. Experts at apologizing - it never ends. Additionally, they are not in compliance with COVID requirements as evidenced by unwrapped blankets being delivered by staff who wear masks way below their nose. Internet connections are a true nightmare as you can not rely on it as the connection is repeatedly disconnected. Do not rely on service here - it appears that the hotel has adapted its own culture "we are to busy to get back to you". I do not recommend this Four Season Hotel especially if you have experienced the professionalism of other Four Seasons'. Not even close! Badly managed!
My stay a the Four Seasons was excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
We were welcomed by every member of the staff. They were courteous and helpful throughout our 4 night stay. We hope more of the restaurants reopen the next time we stay. The assistant manager was outstanding in his attention to our requests. The dining room where we had breakfast was magnificent!
Lovely, Old World Vibe
I love the Four Season and have stayed at many over the past years. The staff were certainly friendly, warm, and tried to be helpful. I still noticed trash overflowing in a bin by the ground floor elevators on arrival, had to ask more than once for more coffee and waters for the room and noticed some cutting corners with the cleaning of our room. Also, they were trying to clean/replace the lobby chandelier by the check-in one night we were there and the workers dropped it and the glass crystals shattered everywhere…truly not safe for the first at the time of evening they were doing this…they should have waited until early morning hours when most guests are not entering/leaving the lobby area. Still, a lovely hotel and a lovely experience, but please play more attention to details and standards expected for a five-star hotel. Thank you.
Everything was great!!!
Great, convenient location. Amazing service and staff is very helpful and friendly..
Good location and it was perfect stay the good thing management following all the steps.
Beautiful but for the stink of smoke.
Couldn't fault the comfort or service. The location was great for us. The only negative which for me is a huge one. The place absolutely smelled rotten of cigarette smoke. It even smelled of cigarettes on my pillow in a non smoking room. The lobby was like being at a disco full of smoke. I honestly wouldnt normally be bothered id just take myself away from the smoke but there was no escape. I suffer from copd and it sat on my chest badly. Such a shame because attention to detail was top draw. Service was exceptional. Food was very good and inexpensive especially considering the surroundings. Would have been max stars all the way. Such a shame.
Great experience
Clean and nice place with quality services
I like how it was very clean and updated. Overall very good stay.
The hotel is a bit vintage but still very comfortable and clean. good location, attentive staff
Been traveling for three months. Stayed in the best hotels I could find along the way, but in many cities the high end hotels are more local. It was awesome to get into a Four Seasons. Everything is perfect here. The location is excellent. Restaurants really good. Service is fabulous. Got an upgrade. They sent a surprise cake up for my birthday. Awesome pool. I have a few of the pyramids and a fantastic room. I feel like I am back in civilization, recharging. Definitely recommend you stay here.
For the amount paid and being a VIP member I expected better service. Upon checking in the front desk agent simply told us where our room was. No restaurant location- no location of amenities nor time of operation. We were left to fend for ourselves. Someone did call to ask if we will be needing breakfast boxes upon check out for our early morning flight however when asked about pricing she wasn’t sure and said she would call me back but never did. A little disappointed…

The staff were all exceptionally welcoming and kind. The room was beautiful and the bed very comfortable. Dinner at Zoe was delicious.
