Nice hotel. Far from Mestre and further from Venice. In a commercial / industrial area. Very good for at the restaurant. Pleasant staff but they gave partially correct directions.

A nice hotel with ckean, spacious and modern bedrooms. Friendly and helpful staff Only problem is this too further away from main Venice. Waste time taking bus or train to Venice. If you are here for more than 2 days. It is ideal.

Every staff member we encountered was extremely helpful and friendly. Location is remote and dining options limited or else I would give a higher rating.

Room are very small. I asked for room for three people. They placed extra folding bed inside small room that we were not able to move. Manager and Staf at frunt desk are not friendly

Family holiday

Hotel was great for us, it was a family holiday to see the main tourist areas of Venice. Be aware that the hotel is about 30mins in a bus (20/25 in a car/taxi) from the start point of the main Venice tourist area. Rooms great, staff brilliant. Some strange designs to be aware of if you are tall - there's a bar across the middle of the shower area to hold up the shower-screen, it's lower than 6feet, my son and I are both over 6feet tall, just slightly annoying, nothing that would prevent me booking again.

To stay in Mestre

Its not what one expects from a Sheraton hotel,the front desk is quite helpless, they advertise having Spa but it doesn’t work despite the fact you have to pay €25 and book one hour in advance but even so the front desk told me it was not available.Noise rooms,shower hose with hole, glad it was just for a night going to the airport.

The hotel is very clean and staff are very good. They are able and willing to help for anything required. Location is close to the train station and can get to Venice within minutes. It is very close to a shopping center which is convenient if anything is required. Breakfast is very good with a great variety of hot food as well as cold cuts and deserts. Have stayed there twice and will definitely go back if there again.

Hotel was 7min walk to Mestre Ospedale train station which take you into to St Lucia in 15-20 mins Next to shopping centre which was great as we actually needed few bits Room was clean Bathroom was clean Quiet Would stay again

New hotel

Had a problem with our door, we couldn’t open it after the first time unless someone was in the room. Called to lobby and Francesca helped us to get another room and comp’d us on the breakfast for our last 2 days. Aneta was also very helpful with any questions on taxis or transportation.

The woman that checked us in was extremely helpful and pleasant our room was ready and was a nice size ,clean and had all the little things most hotels don't anymore tiny sewing kit nail care kit etc The only issue was that breakfast buffet was quite cold and def not worth the cost but the service people in the dining room were very nice attentive and helpful

Lovely hotel, with very comfortable beds, a nice restaurant and very attentive staff. Great value.

The hotel was a better option for to stay into while visiting Venice. it's only 15 minutes drive to Venice. The room we had was spacious and clean. The staffs were polite. Although we were not allowed to check in early by 2pm, we were able to leave our luggages for storage. Parking is not free but there is an outdoor lot that's a bit of a walk back where you can park for free. Breakfast was ok.

5 star quality service

All staff were amazingly kind and professional. Rooms were clean however bath was flooding the whole time. Shiwer water takes long to drain away. Breakfast was lovely, egg could be better. Dinner was No No. Stay was comfort and nice. Location is good to venuce ..take a 5 min train. I recommend.

This hotel is under rated. The customer service, the decor, housekeeping and facilities are amazing! I look forward to staying here again.

Enjoyed the patio area and convenience of a bar and restaurant om the premises. Location was great for another dining option down the street and shopping at the mall if needed across the street. Close to the airport. staff very helpful.

Europe in a week

This hotel is located far from Venice! If you planning to stay away from busier street then it’s for you. Took a local bus ride to Venice over 30-45 The hotel has local shops and malls stores around! But everything else you have to drive or taxi There is nice gym no swimming pool! Spa is payable expensive. Staff were friendly. Noticed thick dusty stairs and fridge not very clean! I did mention to front desk.

Short family trip

Location is good, with bus stop next to the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Room size was slightly small. The air con in our room was not working especially at night time.

Bedroom was spacious and beds very comfortable as usual with four points by Sheraton hotels. The only thing we were expecting to have a pool for the hot summer. Besides that everything was perfect.

Very nice hotel. Great alternative to staying inside Venice, it’s just a 15 minutes taxi or bus drive and you arrive confortably by train and avoid some of the hustle of arriving in busy Venice.

This is a great hotel for staying in Mestre and enjoying day trips to Venice, Verona and other destinations in Veneto. The spa is gorgeous and the rooms are very spacious and clean.

We had a great stay at the Sheraton! Very clean and new hotel, the staff was nice & friendly. We were very pleased with their service and most of all Giacommo at the bar was the best! We got in late from Venice, and we just needed a drink and snack, the kitchen was already closed so we ordered drinks and he was nice enough to bring us some bread and snacks!! He offered us some desserts that he was able to make but we were good with the drinks we had got already! He went out of his way to try and meet our night cravings!!

because it was the end of October the a/c had been shut off , it was hot and humid and we had to ask twice for it to be restored to our room . The hotel was within easy reach of Venice by bus or train and was within walking district of a mall and some good restaurants .

Staff is rude to non-Italians. No proper attention to the guests needs, shower was broken and complained twice, still no one looked at it. Looks like just interested in money, no care for customers comfort.

Arrived at 5 pm and the room was not ready for check in. No compensation, no explanation no apology.

Fantastic, convenient drive to Venice and parking. modern

So everyone has different tastes so take the review under advisement. This was the best bed and pillow I slept on during my 21 day trip. Front desk staff very helpful. Further from Venice than I thought. Limited free parking. Probably not available in the summer. You can purchase a bus/boat pass at the front desk. Bus stop right outside. Shower was TOO HOT and I like hot. Once you adjusted the temperature you lost water pressure. TV wasn't working. Not important, however, the next day they did bring in a new one. Fan was constantly on in the bathroom. Staff said they turned it off but no it ran all night. Need your key card engaged in order to have electricity. Front desk should mention this to guests.

Quality hotel.

An exceptional modern and well situated hotel. The rooms are of functional size, clean and well equipped. Bus and train are both in easy walking distance and easy system to use for access in and out of Venice. Well priced for a good standard hotel.

For pleasure before a cruise. 5-10 minute walk from train/bus station into Venice. Shopping mall there with food court and grocery store. Nice area. Great place to start trip and get used to time change from USA.

Fantastic stay and fantastic Price. Everyone was so helpful and Professional. The staff speaks english which for us was great because we had no idea how the bus and Train system works and what stores and restaurants to visit and they made it easy . Also break fast was $12 Euros per person great food , eggs, ham , turkey and plenty of pastry options and more

Great Hotel, Great Staff.

This hotel is very nice. The staff is great and always very helpful. It is a distance from the Venice airport so it will cost approx 25-40 euros by taxi to get there or you could take a local bus for about 1.50 euros. Once at the hotel,there is a small mall down the street with a grocery store and McDonalds. The hotel will issue a bus pass for 1.50 euros at the front desk and when you walk outside,the bus is right there and will take you to the Port of Venice. Very easy to get around on the bus. Takes about 20 minutes to Venice. Great pizza place over by the mall on the same street as the hotel. Best pizza I have had in my life.Went back the next night too. I would stay there again if I went back to Venice.

This property is modern, air-conditioned, the rooms are well-appointed and the staff is friendly, it is not too far from Piazzale Roma (your first stop of the vaporetto for Venice) - the ride with the public bus is half an hour and you can purchase tickets from the front desk of the hotel.

Excellent hotel

It was an amazing experience. I don't have anything negative to say. There were restaurants and shopping near by. The bus stop right outside the hotel was handy to take the bus to the train station to go to Venice Centre.

Perfectly good hotel but room cleaning was a bit hit and miss with us having to ask for towels, glasses, cups, etc. Staff were always pleasant and helpful though and the breakfasts were pretty good.

I left behind something in the room and tried to contact the hotel by email but never got any reply.

Easy check-in. Ample parking. Proximity to mall and restaurants.

We ate dinner at the restaurant and the service was very slow. We waited for over an hour to get our food. The bread was very cold and old. When we asked for our check, the female at the register was very annoyed and had to ask us for a break down again of what we ordered. We ate breakfast in the morning and told them that we were a party of 11, and requested for round tables. They instead gave tables to seat 2 people. When everyone started to sit down and eat, they wanted to move us to round tables which is what we wanted them to do to begin with. The host was very rude in the beginning, but when he realized we booked 6 rooms, he started to be nice. The facilities were great, very clean. We booked the hotel post cruise. It is far away from the pier, but I felt relieved that it was a big and nice hotel compared to the ones in the center of Venice.

Some of the staff was very friendly and helpful while there was others that had a face showing they didn’t want to be there.

Pleasant stay other than rude cleaning staff

Hotel itself was very nice; clean and modern in a good location for Mestre Ospedale train station and bus stop that can get you into Venice within 20-30mins for €1.35-3 depending on train or bus. The staff at the front desk, particularly Martina, were extremely pleasant and helpful. Room was clean, spacious and had the necessary facilities like a large fridge, kettle, safe, hairdryer and toiletries. Only downside of our stay was the extremely rude cleaning staff. Check out was until 12pm but had a woman at our door at approx. 10.30am wanting to clean the room and when asked to come back later as we were busy getting ready and cleaning up to check out, we were subsequently met with a grunt and look of utter disgust. This was completely unnecessary.

Everything was perfect. Room was clean and the breakfast was delicious. Nice buffet.

The hotel was nice & the rooms comfortable and very clean. Really good housekeeping service as they made a big effort with the tidiness of the room each day. However, the problem was the location. The hotel is situated on a very busy main road and since we didn't have a car we had to walk to the train station to get into Venice central. When I called the hotel to ask how far it was from the train station, they said 3/4 minutes. That isn't true - it's more like 15/ 20 minutes, especially if you're with a young child like we were. The area around the hotel is not very nice as there are no local cafes or restaurants, it's just a roundabout, car parks and big supermarket or discount shops.

Nice hotel. Bus stop out front is convenient. Breakfast is great! But; our shower really didn’t work well, we only had one towel and we couldn’t book our train ticket because the hotel WiFi was so bad. Don’t rely on WiFi and you’ll be fine! Check out was very slow.

I like the person at front desk, how nice and helpful he was, Please forgive me for not remembering his name, I wanted to give him a good feedback, he was very helpful, he explained me the bus situation to Venezia and even sold me the tickets. Over all I liked most of this hotel but 2 things, room was SUPER small, the breakfast scramble eggs were Nasty, I mean it, the worse I ever tried traveling the world, to the point that we did not eat anything, left it all. They were literary blended eggs with milk, I think eggs at hospital are way better. Coffee maker machine was nice, The main dining restaurant and bar is nice, very very slow service but good design. Slow service might be because not enough employees etc, I'm not sure if I'll come back, might just look for a new place next time.
