Super easy walk to Madison Square garden and Times Square. Subway stops less than a block away. Friendly front desk clean rooms. Phish at the Garden and the Four points Sheraton has become a yearly adventure. Highly recommend
Need improvement
From the moment I confirmed our stay, the lines of REAL communication were opened! I received an email directly from a hotel rep (who greeted me at the front desk upon arrival) asking if I needed anything. I requested an early check in if at all possible. She came right back to me with “I’ll assure that your room is ready and please don’t hesitate to let me know if you need anything else.” The kindness, friendliness, and complete experience were consistent throughout the stay. At breakfast we were seated by a window and it was quite chilly, the lady helping to serve noticed my discomfort and rushed over to clean a table, and escort us to it without request. Above and beyond service!! Every guest was smiling and laughing, because that was the overall atmosphere set by staff. I’ll choose them again and again!!!
This is a great spot for a getaway in the city. It's only a few blocks from all the action, yet a nice distance to not hear it all as well. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay here again.
Beautiful and clean
Staff is amazing!!
Great location, clean met our needs for great price
Hotel is right next to time square. Hotel rooms are small but who goes to stay in the room? Walk right to times square. Catch a taxi to little italy. Convenient location once you finally get into the big city
This is the second time staying at this property. The room was ok .. I don’t think the bathroom was cleaned properly. The body wash was completely empty, dust on the back on top of toilet tank, sink didn’t drain properly. The cleaning staff member for 17th floor was doing a facetime call with her family and didn’t see me waiting to ask me for clean towels. Phones should be put away furing work hours. The breakfast hostess was standing at the desk texting away… never looked up. The people who work the breakfast bar were fantastic.. super nice (especially the indian gentleman..fantastic service with a smile every day!). The location is great for the theater district/time square nut on the street near the hotel is the usual riff raff of seedy people.
Cery goid and close to everything
Clean, easy, friendly
Great location !! Very neat and clean
Nice Hotel, near Time Square, restaurants and Theaters.
Location is just a few steps past cleaner, brighter areas closer to Times Square. Though the elevator sometimes took 10 minutes, the staff and hotel were great.
Good location
Everything was excellent. Service at front desk very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely come back.
Rooms to small
Excellent
Staff were so pleasant! Even though they were busy with the holiday rush, they greeted us in a timely manner and were so accommodating!
Times Square, Bryant Park, Broadway, and Rockefeller Center were all within walking distance.
No parking at this hotel. My husband had to find a parking garage, it took him 2 hours to find one that was in the proximity to our hotel (a few blocks away) and not full. For what we paid for our room it was small, only one chair for the desk, one sink in the bathroom in which there was no space to put your toiletries and the shower was too close to the toilet so getting in and out of the shower was very tight.
Not benefit for marriot owners, to small
Friendliness
The location is fantastic for walking and transportation - close to Penn Station trains and buses as well as all the local MTA lines. The room was very thoughtfully furnished, clean, and well lit with its own thermostat. My reservation included breakfast which was a very nice buffet with both hot and cold breakfast options and the most welcoming staff. I would happily stay here again!
Great location in terms of walking to Times Square, fifth Ave, Rockefeller Plaza, all with in 20 minutes, parking on the other hand was difficult with a full size truck and options. Expected this with this being a city but something to think about.
Great experience everything was perfect.
Great location.
The hotel is a a little dated and has some character. The staff are very friendly and try their best to accommodate your needs. The room was clean but the heater was noisy and didn’t cut off at the right temperature. There isn’t much on the street in front of the hotel but you are close by to the subway and Times Square.
Our stay was very nice - the staff were helpful and polite.
Lifts were not working
Check-in was efficient and staff very courteous; room was reasonably clean; beds comfortable; excellent shower. Would recommend!
Close to Time Square and Hells Kitchen
Check in was seamless and quick. Room was clean and perfect for a place to lay down after ufc fight. Price was reasonable as well
The room was nice and the breakfast options were good. Nicole from the Reception team needs a special mention as she went out of the way when we were checking-in and subsequently as well. The hotel is quite centrally located and walkable to many attractions in Manhattan.
Property location is convenient to many attractions, testing and theaters. Clean and comfortable
Staff was professional and friendly at check in, check out, and other facility staff who would greet you when seen. Room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Small fridge and coffee maker are nice perks. Furniture in room was old but didn’t bother me. Close enough to walk to Times Square and many food options nearby. Cold water dispensers available in lobby in the afternoon to night time. Overall, an excellent stay and would stay there again.
Na
Quick walk to Times Square and other attractions. Room was clean and staff was friendly. We arrived four hours early and there was a room available to check in.
Awesome experience.
The hotel was clean, and the rooms were spacious for NYC. It was conveniently located to Times Square and the theater district.
No complaints
Close and convenient to all attractions.
Safe and close to Times Square
Great
A Great Stay In Manhattan!
Great place to stay! Clean, comfortable and good location for entertainment!
It was fine
Overall is was great close tot subway station across from the New York Times. Lots of breakfast place and other restaurants close by.
Clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the internet TV w prime and netflix.
This was a great hotel to take in a concert at MSG. Easy walking distance to everything we took in. Close to great dining options. Has the buffet breakfast and it was really food. Even though the area is really busy, the room was really quiet. Will definitely stay here again.
Staff front desk were super friendly. Thanks!
Excellent vacation hotel great staff clean rooms nothing too much trouble
Nicole greeted us with such a fantastic attitude ever time she saw us. Her personality makes the place!!
One night stay Front desk very friendly and efficient
Small but clean rooms.. front desk was very friendly and helpfull, just a block and a half from Times Square..
👍
It was great. Proximity to all things cool in midtown Manhattan, it was a definite winner!
Property was clean, great housekeeping completed on the room while there. Front desk staff were fantastic and couldn’t be more helpful. Only issue was bartender at lounge left for over 30 minutes and we had to wait on her return to pay the bill . Given the limited hours for bartender, we were surprised at this.
We didn’t get new towels and no one gave us shampoo when we ran out. No one cleaned the room even though we didn’t have a sign. When my partner asked for extra towels because we didn’t have any clean ones, they gave us some and it had someone’s hair in it. When I told them at the reception, they said they would send clean towels and they never did.
Had a great stay!
Very outdated
housekeeping services were excellent, room was very clean. great central location in times square. walkable to many attractions. staff fulfilled a request immediately and were very helpful and friendly. i would definitely stay here again
NA
Friendly nice
Excellent location , right next to Port Authority and a subway station. Room was cleaned everyday and they gave us bottled water daily. The staff was excellent, helpful and nice
This hotel was MUCH quieter than others I have stayed at in this neighborhood! The staff was excellent; Monica at the front desk gave me a great recommendation for a breakfast bagel spot.
Great place location I feel was not the greatest but easily accessible to shops around
NY
Great location and great view. Thanks to very kind receptionist, we got a hotel on the 27th flor with a great view. The entire staff was very nice and helpful. Thank you very much:-)))))
Staff were very friendly and nice. Central location, walking distant to Broadway shows. my room was very clean and spacious. I will stay again. thank you!
Nice location. Room was clean and cool. Staff was very pleasant
I will like more ilumination in the rooms
Used to be a good area of town- I was traveling with my teenage daughter and felt very unsafe and had to change hotels. Ive been a regular NYC traveler over the past 25 years, and I’ve never felt this unsafe. I also felt like the hotel had a bad smell in the lobby. Hotel would not work with us to move to another Sheraton. And although I understand policies, I was disappointed they wouldn’t work with us. Hotels.com did what they could to help us, too, and the hotel staff still would not honor a move. We ended up moving and losing all of the money for our stay. I hate leaving reviews like this! I think it could be a good stay for adults only looking for a good proximity to Times Square and just need a spot to sleep.
The staff were lovely and really friendly. If we needed anything they went out of their way to help and were very efficient. Great hotel location for access to subway, Time Square, restaurants, theatre district, etc.
We were there for four nights. It's close to subway, shopping, and eartery. It's clean and safe. We would definitely go back.
Although hotel is in a busy area the room was quiet. The staff were friendly. It was easy to get everywhere on foot and close to penn station.
The night property manager was really nice.
Had to ask for towels after housekeeping didn’t leave any, the water in the bath tub was brown one night, had to ask for a kettle three times. The carpet in the room always felt damp. The location was great to catch the subway and go to Times Square, plenty of places near by to eat
We stayed here two years ago and had a very good experience which is why we chose it again. The hotel is in an excellent location for getting about and seeing what New York has to offer. The Port Authority building across the road gives excellent access to the subway for those trips further afield. The only downside this time round was the size of our room for three people - four would have been really tight. The beds felt quite small but were probably doubles. I would say the room was adequate and probably typical of New York, but be prepared if there are several sharing, it is a squeeze at times. The staff were lovely and very welcoming at all times.
Times Square
Location.
It was good.
.
We had a great experience during our stay! The property is very clean, great breakfast with large variety and the staff were very friendly and helpful! Strongly recommended!!
The elevators were very busy, area was a little sketchy for a family to come and go.
We thought the hotel was great for our stay. The room was serviced every day and had a queen size bed. However, could not get passed if someone sitting on chair, as it blocked the space at bottom of bed, it was heavy to move also. Area is fine, great location for everything, nice restaurants, fast food and bars close by. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend this hotel. 😊
The appearance of elevator interior need to be improved.
The staff and house keeper were good
Everything i needed , well run hotel /brand
The hotel staff were extremely helpful with any questions we had- especially Nicole! We would definitely stay here again!
Location was ok; staff were super friendly; waiting for elevators (3 there but not all working) was atrocious- always 15 minutes, then it could be full and have to wait longer. Wasn't aware of any amenities, but there was a little bar in lobby- not private and not really somewhere you'd do to sit and have a conversation with someone- would only stay again if no where else available
Staff was very friendly..
The property itself is a bit run down. Although the rooms were clean and beds were great. Hallways aren't air conditioned and are as hot and humid as the outside street. Area isn’t the best. Dirty, sketchy. If you want to be near Times Square area it’s a 5 min walk. It isn’t worth staying in the area for just Times Square. Stay in the west village, Greenwich, even further down. Better places to eat, quaint locations, better shopping and safer walking around.
Stay was great. Hotel was cleaned daily & is in a great location. Staff was ok there was a big guy at the door who wasn't very friendly when I asked a question.
Nice
Everyone was super nice and friendly. Felt safe and secure: room was clean and nice!! Would definitely stay here again if we came back to New York!!!
Absoluety lobes our stay. Staff were very frieny and prompt to help with a smile whenever needed.
Very good service staff was friendly
Staff was super helpful with everything we did.
Lobby always smells great, staff is super friendly, and facilities are clean and modern. The cucumber water in the lobby is also a nice touch. Only minor complaint is that the elevator sometimes takes a while. Will definitely stay again :)
Good location
Excellent stay. No issues. We’ve stayed at the location directly to the right before as well. All in all a great experience.
