Its a nice environment

The property did not have much around. We had to walk a good ways to the mall; however, close to the airport. The place was a tad dated and not very lively. The sportsbar was a ghost town most of the time.

I highly recommend this hotel. Great customer service Comfortable beds & pillows Amazing water pressure & hot water Good restaurant with the best Tres Leche Cake We stayed for 3 days ending 3 weeks in Cancun. Wish we had stayed here our entire trip. Definitely would come back

Convenient location and comfortable room

The check in was ver slow. Good size bedroom, comfortable , but needs some maintenance. Good service at the restaurant (breakfast).

The staff is very friendly and they have good service recovery. We had a few hiccups during our stay but the manager was quick to get our issues resolved. I would stay here again in the future.

Four points Sheraton is actually runed by Marriott Bonvoy. This hotel was not new, older but a little renovated. The sheets were very cheap, polyester quality that had old curly hair, eyebrow hair and make up on the sheets. It was connected to a 24 hour hospital. Which was extremely odd. There was a flickering light in the room. The light in the bathroom felt like hospital light. The AC never got cold. The hotel food was ok. The hotel only provided one bottle of water and wanted to charge 60 pesos for another one for a room we booked for 275$. There are no convenient stores or restaurants around the hotel, you must cross the highway to get to a mall. I would not be back or recommend this hotel.

Great overnight stay

The hot water in our room was not working for whatever reason. The maintenance guy came up and ran the water for a few minutes and it got warm but the next morning when I went take a shower the water never even got warm. It's strange since our friends who were staying on the same floor had no issue. Also, the smoke detector was directly above the bed and was flashing the entire night.

Not as nice as other hotels in the chain.

Not impressed at all. The food wasn’t very good and the small restaurant looked like a cafeteria.

Service was substandard

This property is connected to the Galenia Hospital and this feature was very unique and convenient.

This hotel is in a good location in Downtown Cancun. I'd just like to point out that Downtown Cancun is different from the Island part of Cancun.

Everything was great, just don’t get the clothes cleaning service, it takes them more than 2 days. I never got mines back.

I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the bar was very good also. The pool was beautiful. The staff were very friendly and gave us a great recommendation for dinner.

Great hotel, Nice. Updated, comfortable, great on site restraunt. We ate there every night. Great service. Only negative was key card did not work on the elevator all the time. Got stuck inside a few times. Had to force doors open or wait for someone to push to a floor... Perfect otherwise. Pool is lovely.

Sacrificing location for value

Nice value overall. Not a good location for beach and restaurants but you should have figured that out before booking and it’s the reason rooms are offered at a good price (my room was under $100 per night). You’ll be taking taxis or long walks for anything good. The pool area is nice. The gym doesn’t have much weight training equipment but it has free weights up to 50 pounds so that worked for me. The rooms are big and clean. If you want to be close to the beach, stay somewhere else. If you want good value and don’t mind walking or taking taxis, I recommend the hotel.

Reception staff were unhelpful failed to understand the simplest questions the restaurant food was tasteless and expensive, we stayed at the front on the 4th floor, road noise was very noticeable the roof top pool has limited sun loungers most were broken, I would not stay here again.

Hotel smells like mold room was extremely HOT

Rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. There is a mall within walking distance, however dining choices nearby are limited. Would certainly stay here again for a couple nights on our next trip to Cancun.

Not as per standard of four points

Hotel has no service after 10. No.mini bar no food and is in the middle of highway being built. Staff dont care you are having a sheit time. Shocking

Just a great place to stay, very welcoming, clean and comfortable, very relaxing, great front desk reception, Rodrigo Garcia was fantastic he helped me book some bus tickets for my trip to Chichén Itzá, and had some great local knowledge, which helped with my stay

Great Quiet Hotel out of the Hotel Zone

Love this hotel when either just arriving in Cancun or a date night before heading back to the states. The bed & pillows are very comfy. And the roof top pool is great. The only small complaint is the length of time to check in.

The location was convenient. Close to a laundry mart. The staff was very friendly, but did not help much with our laundry needs though.

My experience was excellent

It was our second stay here and we got a free upgrade without even asking for it. The room and bathroom were bigger and like the first time we stayed, it was very clean and comfortable. No complaints.

Completely satisfied with our stay here and have no complaints. We were in Cancun to have some checkups done at the Galenia Hospital. The hotel is conveniently attached to the hospital which cut travels costs and time to and from the hospital and the hotel basically non-existent. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and functional and the area is conveniently located close to several shopping malls and local restaurants.

The room was spacious, tastefully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable! All our encounters with staff were positive and we were greeted everytime we were in a common area. The manager, Jesus, was very professional, friendly and accommodating providing us with dining recommendations and even a microwave was provided in our room on request. I can't say enough about the top-notch customer service we received. Class act from check-in to check- out!!! We would never stay anywhere else & will definitely return....thank you again for a wonderful experience!!!!

Great place to stay.

Four Points Sheraton is an excellent choice as long as you are okay staying in that part of town. You are looking at least 15 minutes if you want to get to the Zonera Hotel (hotel zone), possibly longer. The staff is friendly and provide good service, and everyone at the front desk speaks english. The hotel is clean, and the rooms are nice. 24 hour gym access. There is an integrated restaurant with good food, and I had no trouble getting hot water during my stay. The staff even helped me with a wheelchair and lifting my girlfriend into bed when she was too drunk to walk. There's also an integrated spa where you can get a massage, or have your nails done. My biggest gripe is that they let a single guest raid all the bottled water from the vending machine.

This is a safe, reliable place to stay in Cancun, right next to a local hospital. Unlike a resort, it likely won’t be the focus or primary setting of your stay, assuming you plan to visit Cancun for tourism and the hotel is a (fairly short) taxi ride away from the beach. It’s a good hotel to come back to shower, sleep, and have breakfast at, to be ready for the next day!

Great Property - Reception needs work

This property is absolutely CLEAN... and fantastic. The security is very nice, as you are required to use your hotel key to enter the elevator. Everything you need is there.... The check-in needs some work. I arrived at 1:40pm and was told that check in was at 3pm - additionally I was told that "All hotels do that...." as if it not obvious. My Point.... is that.... if this is end of January and beginning of February and your Hotel is HALF EMPTY.... perhaps you should not be too concerned about checking guests early to offer that "Extra Attention". Even if it's high season... if your rooms are available - SHOW THAT YOU CARE ABOUT GUESTS and welcome them.... "We care about our guests" should not just a phrase you hang on your door - is something you practice.

The staff were so attentive and polite. My only issues were no coffee maker in our room (was stated they had) and the bedding was a little worn. The property is clean and the location is fairly good, you can walk to the mall and lots of restaurants and Walmart Express is just up the road. The pool was beautiful and the chairs and loungers around it were very nice.

Overall the stay went really well, the hotel was well positioned in downtown and a close walk to a huge shopping center which was convenient. Staff was good, but could have been a lot better at getting us items we would ask for (hand soap, towels).

Good news, Bad news

This hotel is in great condition and feels like a Sheraton. It is located near good food and shopping. The restaurant and sports bar just keep getting worse. The breakfast buffet food is cold, the bacon is hours old, the whole thing needs improvement

Very poor service level at the Restaurant (Eatery). Room was very cold at the arrival (16 degrees cels.). Not enough pool towels available.

Everyone at the front desk was so great and helpful! I could ask any question and they had an answer! We had to find transportation to our next destination and they helped us out so quickly! I would definitely come back here!

Great front desk staff. Great washroom. Super convenient if you are going for medical treatment at the attached Galenia Hospital. And Four Points has special daily rates for patients of Galenia Hospital, which is really nice!

Clean rooms with exceptionally friendly and warm staff. Location is prefect if you here for medical appointments as all hospitals and clubs are close by. The mall is also pretty close. We had a good air conditioning. Only down side is the ventilation As we find a bit of a smell in the room. We keep the room open during the cooler periods of the day.

Fantastic staff in a very clean hotel with a great rooftop pool and bar. Caesar in the street front bar is 'the man!'

I didn’t like being below fitness center guests were up there all hours of the night dropping the weights on the floor last night I was there I didn’t get any sleep because of this issue

Old building and expensive.

Great Hotel

This is a very nice business hotel away from the "strip." It is very close to the hotel zone, but is in the "Centro" area. The hotel is modern, clean and the staff or very helpful. It is NOT a full-service resort, but it is a great place to stay.

Property is clean and comfortable, good for an overnight stay.

I really need to know what kind of mattresses they use. The sleep I got was worth every penny of our stay. I need a bed like those in my house. Someone let me know!!!

Definitely a great property

This property is wonderful. The room was great with a terrace. The pool was lovely and the area is safe and quiet. I will return to stay here as it truly was worth it. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The location is away from the crowded hotel zone, thankfully and close to Plaza Las Americas, a 10 minute walk. They are pet friendly and this was a huge plus for me and my dog.

The staff were very unfriendly and unhelpful. We asked about getting a taxi downtown the first night and they wouldn't help us, we then asked about walking downtown and they laughed at us. We were able to start walking around and figure our way downtown by walking but wasn't safest option. The location is not the most convenient.

Great place to stay if you are doing all day activities . Only thing is it’s easy to catch bus from the hotel and taxi gets expensive .. so if you are not renting car & using public transportation please rethink other than that great hotel & 💯 perfect staff !! 💯 hygiene also good

The room was huge with super comfy beds. It was so big that it almost felt like an apartment.

Could be better

For the amount spent the breakfast included in the rate is a complete waste of time. Limited selection, cold food, slow service. Had much better breakfast at much cheaper stays. Really disappointed in the service.

Fantastic hotel with even a more impressive Staff!

My husband have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions the last month or so, as we both had multiple surgeries. This Awesome hotel is contacted to the only 5 star hospital in Cancun. Rooms are nice and large (wonderful oversized walk in showers), beds are very comfortable and more what you would find in a much more expensive hotel in the USA. Of course having multiple surgeries, we ate all meals via room service. I can not say enough wonderful things about the entire room service staff. The all speak perfect Spanish (my husband and I do Not) lol, so it was fantastic that the entire staff speaks perfect English. The room service food is very flavorful and if you desire something not on the menu, the staff will do everything they can to take care of your wants. My husband is a bit OCD when it comes to cleanliness (and he kept saying how Clean everything was/is, from the floors, sheets to the table tops)!

Great Hotel and Better Staff

My husband and I stayed at 4 P’s as it is connected to the only 5 star hospital in Cancun. My husband and I both and 2 cosmetic surgeries at the Galenia Hospital and then stayed @ 4 P’s multiple days and multiple stays the first two weeks of October. The hotel staff is absolutely wonderful, speak perfect english. The beds are very comfortable the bathrooms and shower are very large and huge walk in showers. Total black out drapes (which was Much needed) for our recoveries in the beginning. The room service staff is extremely accommodating and pleasant to speak with and prompt service. Of course Nothing can be perfect, so with that said the only issues my husband and I could think of is we both had total facelifts and we had sleep in a more upright position for several days. The beds are on wheels and though they Don’t move easily, when someone is sleeping in the upright position I’m 110# and my husband #210 after a little bit of time/adjusting throughout the night the bed will eventually slide (not a lot), but of course having surgery and not having your total whits about yourself it’s more concerning than if you weren’t having surgery and have your total whits and sleeping more normally than we had to during our stay. I asked housekeeping if they had a lock on the wheels (they said No)…. So in short we would and I’m sure Will stay at this beautiful hotel when we return to have additional procedures. Hope this helped some of you guys!

Never ever choose Sheraton Cancun

The staff was not friendly right from the time I checked in. They did speak English little bit. The hair dryer, the adaptor board was not working. There was a leakage in the bathroom under the washbasin

Very convenient if you are having a medical procedure in the hospital.

the Sheraton/ Marriott feel

The room had the usual Sheraton (or Marriott (sister company) feel, attention to every detail. Large bathroom, large balcony, soft sheets, bright room with long desk for working. Staff friendly especially Joshua. Far from Hotel zone (20 min drive) but if you're not here for the beach this is the perfect place.

The politeness of the staff even though they hardly knew from time to time what we were saying.
