This is my first hostel stay and I guess I expected more. The one I stayed at before was a guesthouse where there were 10 people max and I got to know at least a few of the people pretty well. Here there were a bunch of rooms like a hotel, the difference being that not all rooms had bathrooms and most of the rooms didn't have windows. In addition, it seems like most people keep to themselves unless they are forced into a dorm type room of which I don't believe there was one. Lots of rooms, always people checking in, there's a commons area and breakfast. I honestly think the female staffers who wore glasses hate their jobs and possibly their lives. Not very friendly people. The biggest problem I had was the men's restroom. You have to actually go outside of the hostel to reach it, then down the hall only to discover that the washing machine is essentially inside the men's restroom and directly across the men's showers.

Dream hostel

A fantastic budget stay. Opposite a night market for evening meal options. Nearby to a beautiful park, an the famous Taipei 101 and Elephant mountain trail. Friendly staff that English perfectly and free delicious bagels for breakfast as well as free tea and coffee all day round. A beautiful city and a beautifully well run hostel.

Decent stay on a budget

Had a good stay here, and the breakfast is a decent way to start the day. Close to Elephant Mountain for walking, 101 for shopping and close enough to the MRT for everything else

Hostel close to everything, with free historical t

I liked my stay at Formosa 101. The single room I had was very basic, nothing fancy, but that's expected for the price. The shared bathroom and common areas are also clean. My favorite was the free neighborhood tour led by Yves, which was both enjoyable and educational. The tour ends at a local restaurant that serves delicious food!

The best hostel in Taipei

Great place int the center of Taipei, close to WTC Taipei 101, very nice prices for beds and rooms, friendly staff, free breakfasts, WIFI with no limits, clera bathrooms and showers. Kitchen, wasching machine and microwave available.

Good location

Right across the Tonghua night market. Close to Taipei 101. Call in advance if you will be checking in extremely late.

Would like to stay here again

Nice, warm environment, hotel staff is friendly, it's easy to make friends here. Room is small and without window(some rooms may have windows), but it is clean and comfortable enough with AC and fans running. Bathrooms and kitchen are also very clean. Breakfast is simple but sufficient to fill the stomach before you go out in the morning. Convenient location-walking distance to Taipei101, Tonghua Night Market, and not far from Taipei Zoo, MaoKong etc. If come to Taipei again, would definitely consider staying here again.

Loved the room and location

Had a great 2 night stay in the single room, good location and super friendly and helpful staff. The only drawback would be the limited number of showers and restrooms, which are the same for guys and girls, so I didn't really feel like using the showers and had my showers at the hot springs showers instead.

Great place!

I stayed there last week and really enjoyed it! The staff is super helpful and nice, rooms clean and comfortable. The best part is a lively living room, full of people and a super cool bar downstairs. Will be back soon :)

Great place in best location possible

Got there quite late at night but not a problem at all! They have best night shift I've ever met. Easy to checkin in the middle of the night, no problems. I woke up in the center of Taipei with food market in front of my eyes. Taipei101 is just 3 mins from there too. Citybikes 1 minute. They have also coolest stuff working there, Phoenix and Ann made my stay a dream, I could stay there forever... :***

Though it's on the 9th floor but still noisy from Keelung road. Only 3 shared shower rooms available, need to wait for a long time. Breakfast is simple, only toast and coffee.

Nice location near Taipei 101

Nice place located on the main road. Around 15 mins walk to Taipei 101 station. Opposite to the night market. Good location, hospitable and well-speaking staff! My quardable room is spacious with Taipei 101 tower view. The hot shower is great.

Near 2 metro stns n bus stn is just infront. Lovely pets shop opp n also the night market of both n food.

Nice hostel close to Taipei 101

The staff are helpful and the location is great. It's located 10 min from the MRT, and about 15 from local clubs, bars, and shopping malls. You don't have to worry about a food shortage because theres a night market across the street, local restaurants on both sides of the street, and 7/11s that sell everything from sim cards to microwavable meals if you need something super quick.

Always my first choice to stay in Taipei!

3 day impromptu visit

Private bedroom, essentially a dorm room with desk and full size bed, clean sheets, comfortable. Common room cozy. Hosts were youthful, helpful. Place is cleaned frequently. In the middle of banks, world trade center area, on the 9th floor, where other floors are Businesses. Plenty of coffee shops for WiFi and pastries, a few blocks from subways. Like dorms, the bathrooms and showers are shared and are a few rooms away. Washer dryer work well. Feels safe with front door guard and hosts' presence.

Like a dorm room in a residecy

Basic hostel that felt like a dormroom. The room was big enough to hold a double-bed and a side table. Showers and bathrooms were shared with everyone. Towels cost extra. Breakfast was included, but only had PB and J with coffee. Good enough if you aren't looking for a long stay.

鬧區中取靜

CP值算高，房間空間有點小，除了一個可以鎖的櫃子之外，真的沒什麼地方可以放私人物品。房間有空氣清淨機，但是走進房間還是一股濕熱感，空氣不太流通，加上用窗簾隔開床位，第一晚過敏得很嚴重。男女分開的衛浴設備，所以女生廁所很乾淨。住宿有含簡單的早餐。

還不錯的青旅

雖然隔音不太好，多少能聽到走廊上的聲音，但我運氣不錯，雅房還是挺安靜能睡著的。 早餐雖然是自助，但很好吃，以青年旅館來說很好！ 浴室雖然小間了些，但還是能使用，晚上也有熱水，價格上也很划算……就是從捷運站要走的路程有些長……行李太重太多比較不建議來這邊。

床位太小，濕氣太重

建議宿舍房的床位側邊可以有個小平台放小物（眼鏡、手機），不然睡覺放枕邊很容易壓到

這裡是一個很溫馨親切的地方，到處都有可愛貼心的小巧思，交誼廳有廚房可以用覺得很方便，尤其是有飲水機這點！ 也有冰箱和簡易的加熱用具，女生的衛浴在房間區域感覺安全，唯一的缺點是浴廁的空間比較狹小，不過整理得很乾淨。 這次來是住單人房，對窗的書桌工作起來舒服方便，只是如果行李太多的話會不好放置，需要花一點心思，隔音還行，如果睡覺需要安靜的人可能會受到空調聲音影響。 附近交通很方便，徒步也能到夜市、大學校園和熱鬧的地方，樓下也有便利商店和早餐店，不擔心餓肚子。 這裡早上也有附早餐，只是我行程比較趕沒有使用到，某一天出門前還看到奶茶旁邊附了珍珠！

6人房好安靜舒服，只是房間隔音沒很好，會聽到隔壁房間的講話 房間有除濕機，有需要可以用蠻好，避免了房間大多要潮濕味道的問題 離捷運大概10分鐘距離，不過樓下就有youbike蠻方便 會再次入住

女性限定ドミトリーを利用しました。ベッドはあまり広くないけど、6人部屋の中にもデスクがあったのが嬉しかったです。 受付&共有スペースが5階で、部屋は7階なので、行き来するのは少しだけ手間です。 シャワールームは広くはないけど清潔だと思いました。アメニティも歯間ブラシやナプキンまで、充実してます。スタッフさんの雰囲気も良かったです！ 周囲には飲食店は多いですし、台北101も徒歩圏内なので、観光時には利用しやすいホステルだと思います。

宿舍床位僅提供不太厚的毛毯,只是因為我自己個人疏失訂成雙人宿舍床位,所以除了原本提供的一條毛毯,又額外請旅館給我兩條毛毯,但晚上睡覺時仍感覺到冷,以至於睡得不太好!其時他們的床墊及枕頭算是舒適的,但卻無法提供較厚的棉被給住客,真的覺得不太OK!另外目前也沒有早餐提供,只有茶包可以沖泡,淋浴間非常小(只有不到1公尺*1公尺)沒辦法兩手張開的大小,因此裡面的置物空間也很侷限,連掛毛巾的地方都沒有,但地點真的算方便,價格也便宜

下次有機會會再住

員工非常親切，已是第二次入住，非常推薦，附近可吃可逛的很多，交通方便，推推！

Wouldn't book again

I don't understand the good ratings of this hostel! I booked a private room. It was very small, so the breathing air became very heavy. It was dusty, damp and humid, the air conditioning was so loud that I couldn't sleep well. There are only two showers and two toilets! The toilet cubes are extremely small, if you are overweight you'll have trouble fitting there. It wasn't crowded because I traveld in non-peak season, but I could imagine it getting crowded. The breakfast was a dissapointment. The communal area is very small. I booked the hostel because I read they arrange lots of things to do - there was one trip to the Elephant Mountain in a rainy night. That's all. The location is good, close to Taipei 101.

沒有熱水可洗在冬天是一件非常不舒服的事情，尤其對女生來說最需要洗熱水澡時，沒熱水

I stayed here for 2 nights in mix and female doem. Love the dorm beds so much, especially the pillow is very comfortable. The staff let me put my baggage in the storage room so I could go for a day tour after check out. Can't find a better place in Taipei and will always come back here!

附近生活機能很好 去那裡都很方便 但是房間距離街道近稍微有一點吵 冷氣吹封口對到床位容易受凉 基本上一切都可以

睡起來舒服早餐樣式精簡

臨近臨江觀光夜市，逛街購物飲食皆很方便，離台北市貿也很近，如果要看展覽的話走路5~8分鐘即可到達，免費的早餐有咖啡、茶、吐司、可頌、起司、小餐包、及多種果醬和水果，讓旅人一早吃飽有精神繼續上路，服務人員親切服務，給與旅途上的建議，讓人窩心。

臨近觀光夜市食物選擇多元，服務人員親切熱情，睡床舒適，空調稍微悶熱了些但可接受，設備使用清楚方便，還免費提供早餐最棒了。

季節的なものなのか湿気が凄いので、エアコンを常につけていないとベッドがじめじめしていて気持ち悪い。少しかび臭い。 朝食サービスはたいへん素晴らしく、毎日利用させてもらいました。中にはタッパーに沢山詰めて出かけていく外国人もいましたが…。 途中宿泊を延長することになりましたが快く対応していただきました。

徒歩圏に101、通化夜市、多数のマッサージ店などがあり、大変便利です。施設も清潔で快適です。

シーツと布団カバーがジメジメして、花柄が入って可愛いが、いつ洗濯したか判らない。休んだら体が痒くなり、顔と手首のところが赤い点点ができ、咳も出た。 部屋にタオルもなく、となりの部屋の音がリアルに聞こえる。あまり寝れなかった。 二泊予約してしたが、一泊して翌朝がすぐ出た。2日目の宿泊費を返してもらえず、結局高くついた。 綺麗好きやアレルギー体質の方は要注意❗️

規劃動線很差，女生衛浴間要經過男廁且是共用洗手台，通道狹窄要進出不方便外，女生要進出淋浴間的大門每次全開，可以從外面看到裡面覺得很沒隱私感，裡面的吹風機還是壞的，客戶除了房間關門聲很大聲，睡上鋪超難上下，睡我隔壁上鋪的人就多次撞到我床板發出巨大聲響，而且進出要穿的室內鞋放在房間內就會被別人穿走，除了地點好之外沒有一個是滿意的

冬は室内が寒いです。

信義安和駅から歩いて行きました。徒歩10分くらいです。スーツケースを引っ張って歩くには少々距離が有りました。近くに臨江街夜市が有り、有名な飲食店がたくさん有りました。台北101にも徒歩で行けました。 私は女性6人部屋に泊まりました。部屋はボックスタイプでカーテンで仕切られておりプライバシーは保たれていました。 しかし部屋が寒くて布団一枚では眠れなかったのでダウンコートを着て寝ました。冬の台北は寒い日も有りますので、室内でもダウンが必要でした。それとこのホステルは大きな幹線道路沿いに有り、私が泊まった窓際の部屋は車の騒音がすごかったです。夜中もかなりの交通量でした。耳栓が有れば良いと思います。 それと残念な点はタオルが有りませんでした。このホステルに泊まる方はタオルを持参してください。 良かった点は、朝食付きでした。パンとソーセージ、そしてフルーツの盛り合わせが有ったのが嬉しかったです。

雨の為、花火は残念でした。 スタッフは皆フレンドリーで、快適なステイができました！謝謝❗️

單人房心得

看照片以為有對外窗戶，但實際上是大樓擋風玻璃，再加裝隔音玻璃窗=沒有對外窗戶。房間的冷氣一定要開，不然會悶，可惜冷氣聲音到了晚上很大聲。吹風機很小台，即使是短髮都覺得很不夠吹。房間整潔還不錯，但不建議冬天去住宿，因為被子很薄。

生活機能超便利

1、對街就是臨江街觀光夜市(通化夜市)，門口就是公車站牌，附近還有星巴克、屈臣氏、麵包店、各式各樣餐廳...。 5F櫃台旁有桌椅休憩、玩遊戲、聊天，早上還有免額外付費的自助早餐可選。 2、這回住的是9F門口旁牆角&鞋櫃旁的6人女宿，當時住房人數多，門口滿滿的鞋子，沒有明確的標示，ㄧ開始會以爲只是儲藏室！ 果然很多人跟我一樣，門口總是擺滿鞋子影響通行，希望這可以改善

직원분중 한국어를 잘하시는 분이 계셨음. 방이 조금 추운 편, 대만이라서 난방이 없어서 그런지 밤에 조금 추움. 휑한 느낌이 없지 않아 있음. 아침에 토스트랑 베이글이 나오는데 그럭저럭 아침으로 괜찮음. 화장실 공용 샤워실 공용, 타월도 빌려주긴 하는데 한국돈 천원정도 가격 타이베이101이나 역에서 걸어서 약 10분정도 거리, 걸을만함. 주변에 스타벅스 있음. 야시장도 있음

チェックインの前に預けていた荷物が、チェックインの際に見つからずあせりました。夜中にもかかわらず懸命に探してくださったスタッフさん、ありがとうございました。次回はもう少し滞在時間を増やしてformosa体験したいと思います。謝謝！

價錢有點不值

距離101站要行10-15分鐘，對面有臨江夜市。一房間4張雙層床，房間中間位置太小，很難打開行李箱。可能因多人居住，所以廁所浴室有點兒污穢。但我是跨年去的，在101倒數後回家方便。有電梯。

靠近市區的青年旅館

非常靠近捷運站，而且可以認識很多好朋友，設施非常方便，價格非常便宜，CP值非常高，員工非常親切，位置介於兩個捷運站之間，靠近夜市，吃得還算多

親切なスタッフ・お掃除の人

BeerRestaurant？KTVがあるビルの5Fが受付。寝室は上の階。ビル1F には警備員のおじさんがいつもいて、寝室階入口はSecurityCardで入るから安心。内装は綺麗で、シャワールームにはシャンプーとボディソープあり。歯ブラシは無いから持参してね。

第二入住, 免費升等雙人房趕到驚喜, 但空調聲音有點大聲, 當天氣溫頗低, 索性將空調關閉才能入睡。

男洗手間和浴室距離房間比較遠，很不方便。但淋浴的熱水溫度很好，熱水充足，水壓十分穩定。8人房的床位之間的空間比較小，往上格床時有一定的難度。

交通算便利, 10分鐘路程至捷運站. 感覺清新整潔.
