Very convenient

This is a hostel so my expectations are not high anyway.. but the problem with unstaffed accommodation is there is no one to help. The check in instructions were terrible, not pointing out there are two separate buildings and of course I went to the wrong one

I would like to have one more blanket. Thank you for service!

Easy check in. Nice and clean common areas. Bed sheets not seemed fresh and somebody’s hair was on it.

It was good in overall

Good value and very clean. Smokers outside caused smoke to come in the window, and there were few utensils in the kitchen and no coffee.

Convenient and affordable within walking distance of the airport. Nice shared kitchen and convenient with a microwave and refrigerator in the room. Only issue is the thin walls. Could hear people fighting in the morning.

Great place, very peaceful, but You could add at least one bottle of water in the fridge.

I had an excellent overnight stay there between a late flight and an early train.

The appartement was good to reach and easy to access.

Basic but OK

Bit of a walk from the airport and can be tricky to find the footpaths in the dark. Would be helpful if info about the hostel included info about the airport parking bus which stops very close to the hostel. Hostel is what you would expect, pretty basic. Price a bit high in my opinion.

I was trapped by this reservation, I made it between two meetings. I could not imagine that Expedia offers this, very disappointing and I will reconsider my reservations in the future with you. This place is for teenagers not business travelers.

Good service, good price. It was ok overall. Except the cleaning we find foul the thrush bin and not very clean blanket . Basically we used only for couple hour's but it was a solution. One more thing. Ok I understand is hostel but still to many room's for only two bathrooms. Overall good, but not for family especially with small kid's.

Dirty bedding which had what looked like blood stains. Floor dirty and when got onto bed, all dirt on feet was all over sheets. Very noisy and hallway smelled like stale food. Two of the toilet doors did not lock and these are mixed toilets. Water tap on one of sinks broken.

Very basic accommodation close to the airport

Really bare minimum accommodation close to Helsinki airport. Beds are not very comfy, the fridge is very loud, the windows do not open. But good enough for a sleep next to the airport.

a late arrival to the airport is why I chose this property after a long days travelling though the last thing I wanted to do was make a bed!!! Could use some new pillows, mine barely had any stuffing left! Good for convenience though

Walking distance from the airport and nice and clean. The closest shops are at the airport which is a little annoying.

No air conditioing, had to open window to cool off my room and was forced to listen to a nearby hotel guest argue with the prostitutue he had hired.

i was there on MAY 2019 to stay for two nights to catch the early next flight, the place to stay is fine, SUPER quiet and clean, is auto check-in service so please make sure you have network to receive the e-mail, no reception at the hostel but you can call the 24hrs customer service hotline.

Street address 13A does not appear on the road. I thought I was in the wrong hostel. The women 's laundry room was not on the living floor but in the basement contrary to the instructions. Misrepresentation is an expression of my stay. The web worked slowly. - Otherwise, the room was clean, comfortable and warm. Looking out of window on to the forest was lovely.

I had a terrible time trying to get the door with the code provided. After two calls to the number they provided finally the code worked. These were phone calls that are probably expensive The property itself was quite nice and very clean, . They should have a toll free number

Comfortable room. Kitchen needs inprovements

The room is very clean and comfortable. The only thing is that there is nothing in the kitchen other than one cooking bowl and a frying pan. There is absolutely no other utensils such as plate, bowl, fork, spoon and knife.

Great hostel

Best hostel in Europe and we have stayed in heaps. Everything you need. ..comfortable bed, hot shower, well equipped kitchen. 10 minutes walk to airport. We found it quiet.

Cannot open the door

Hotel has no staff, we use the key code provided by hotel, but it didn't work. we have to call 24 h help line , the staff have to reset the passcode for us. happy with everything, but the key system is bad, we standing at outside our room for 30 mins to wait .........middle of the night

It is what it advertises to be. A Hostel, comfortable bed, shared facilities, no staff I could identify, available kitchen with bits and bops.. All good and just what I needed for airport access.. :-)

Rip off

Booked via expedia, which specifically told me to not give payment information if emailed to do so, that my booking was complete and nothing more was needed. Hostel emailed me a different story.... after I was already traveling and unable to access the internet. After flying from USA to Finland, then walking to the hostel from the airport in miserable heat, found nothing but a locked door. Walked back to the airport, begged someone to use their phone to check my email, only for hostel to have messaged while I was in transit, insisting that expedia was wrong and there was no payment made. Either way, I'm sleeping in an airport for 15 hours, very unhappy.

Cheap and Cheerful - Served it's Purpose

We liked the accomodation and was only there for one night before catching a flight out of Helsinki airport to get to thailand, The room itself was clean and looked fine, A very odd setup though having an access code text to you then using that rather than a key we never spoke or seen someone the whole trip lol. The facilities were fine very clean and I would book again, My only complaint would be the instructions for finding the hotel were not very clear, as an FYI for others reading this review, Take The Parking Bus from Bus Stop 21 it goes straight to the hostel, We didnt know this at the time and ended up paying 14 euro in a taxi for 3 minutes drive. Would book again and we were not rushed out at check out either so had quite a lazy morning to check out . Definitely one of the better places we have stayed in for a layover at an airport

Nice Hostal near Airport

Less than 5 min cab ride from airport. Arrived late after midnight. Got confused between number 9 and number 13 Ilmailutie, but rang staff and he was very polite and helpful and point me in the right direction.

Basic close to airport

As I expected nothing fantastic but clean and comfortable and close to the airport, which was all I wanted for an overnight stay. If you are a low budget traveller this could be ideal as there is an excellent kitchen set up and the utensils to cook dinner and save money. Also laundry to wash and dry your clothes. Shared amenities that were clean, linen provided for making own beds and good heating.

Never got the hotel door key code and were outside

No hotel staff on site and we never got the door code and called and it took 20 min for someone to answer! Then they said we didn't pay for our room yet, even though we did and had a confirmation number! Our beds weren't even made and were not comfortable! AND NO pillow cases on the pillows! Not clean and would never stay here again!

Hotel never sent the info and lost our reservation

Hotel never sent the room info so we were locked outside. We called and they accused us of not paying, luckily I had my confirmation and receipt! They couldn't find our reservation for over 20 min! Beds not made, no fitted sheets, and no pillow cases! Just awful!

Looking for something cheap.

We only need needed a place to sleep that was close to the airport. It was very clean, but clinical in its ambiance.

Quick Stop In Lahti

Had a quick stop over in Lahti on my way Jyvaskla, the hotel is good because you can check with a code at what ever time you arrive. its in the centre of town, near supermarkets and bars etc. Easy Parking outside

Airport stopover

Great hostel if you need to be near the airport. As you'd expect, very basic and a bit dingy. Shared bathrooms quite clean. 15 min walk to the airport which is why we chose it. Quiet overnight apart from the sound of the keypads on other doors. If you want a basic, easy option this is it. If you want a treat or something with atmosphere, it isn't!

Very basic but good and reliable

A good place to chash between flights, provided that you don't mind making your own bed and using shared bathroom. 10 minutes from Terminal 1, but the way from the airport is not self-evident, GPS highly recommended. There are at least two buildings, make sure you are at the right one.

Stop over to Ivalo

Excellent location and comfort for a quick stop over. All very clean and comfortable. Good facilities. 20 mins walk only from the airport.

Very close to airport

Top tip: ensure that you receive an email from hostel giving Pass Code for entrance. For some reason my Expedia booking was not passed to hostel, who had no knowledge of my stay, even though I received an Expedia email that afternoon asking about my Booking-in experience! Unwelcome to find out at 11 o'clock at night! When I got in touch with Expedia, they were able to arrange a stay within 10 minutes, just as I was deliberating whether to 'bunk down' at the airport. But the hostel is within 15 mins' walk from airport, just beyond furthest car park. It was clean and tidy. Small single room and definitely a single bed! But equipped with TV, free wifi, fridge, microwave and kettle. Shared shower/washroom facilities on corridor were fine. Did not stay long enough to use kitchen, but it was large.

Better send out passcode earlier

Didn't get my passcode till like 1700 the day i checked in. Tried to call CS but no clue. Made me worry unnecessarily.

There was dried pee on the floor. We got a new room and the stuff was nice tho. Still, the whole building looks suspicious.

Ok paikka pikaiselle muutaman tunnin yöpymiselle, mutta hankala kävelymatkan päässä lentoasemalta.

It was ok except that there wasn’t any elevator to the basement floor. And I had some difficulties to find the right building as they both are under same name “ hostel”.

Very affordable room near the airport, if you only need a bed to sleep in. Occasionally you could hear the neighbors playing music and maybe doing something else. Because the area is new Google maps tried to direct us to take a different route to the airport that would have taken 20 mins longer.

Siivoustarkkuuteen olisi hyvä kiinnittää huomiota. Roiskeita esim. Seinätaulu aivan täynnä, television kaukosäädin oli aivan tahmainen. Muutoin, helppo saapua, halpa, perusasiat kunnossa. Iso plussa rauhallisesta sijainnista

Korona tilannetta ei huomioitu millään tavalla! Yleisissä tiloissa ei missään irtokäsipaperia, ei käsidesiä, ei mitään mainintaakaan tai yleistä ohjetta asiasta. Todella vastuutonta, talo täynnä ulkomaalaisia työmiehiä. Huoneen lattia myös pinttyneen lian peitossa. Hygienia-asiat kuntoon ja pian!

Olin pettynyt huoneen siisteyteen, lattiat likaisia, patjoissa epäsiisteyksiä(karvoja, hiuksia). WC-tilat Ok.

Loistava hinta/laatusuhde yhdelle yölle

Loistava vaihtoehto lentokentällä yön yli notkumiselle. Siisteys ok, sänky ok, ei liikaa meteliä. Ainoa miinus oli paikalle löytäminen, Ilmailutieltä käännyttäessä hostellin numeroa ei ollut kyltissä (vain 9 ja 11), vaikka samasta risteyksestä sinne mentiin. Joten paikalle joutui hieman sukkuloimaan. Myös rapun numeroa ei ollut missään oven ulkopuolella. Onneksi sama taksikuski tuli aamulla viemään lentokentälle, niin oli jo tiedossa mistä majoituspaikkaan ajetaan.

Mukava yö, kiitos, tarpeelliset mukavuudet löytyi. Kävely paikalle lentokentältä oli mahdotonta pimeässä tietyömaiden keskellä.

Hyvää kommunikointia ja informointia, hyvin rakennettu kontaktiton järjestelmä. Kohtuullisen siisti ja vain nukkumiseen erittäin sopiva, myös sijainniltaan. Mennään toistekin!

26 euron yön yli hinnalla ei tarvitse odottaa liikoja. Silti tämä juttu toimii. Helppo tulla, ilmaiset parkkipaikat oven edessä. Ainoastaan tyyny oli surkea. Ihan lintta ja kulunut. Ostakaa 5 euron tyynyjä vaikka kerran kuussa niin sekin toimii sitten. Tulen uudestaan kun en tarvitse muuta kuin siistin sisätilan nukkumista ja itsensä " huoltoa" varten.

Tyynyt ois voinu olla paremmat. Ne oli aika elämää nähneet.

Absolut empfehlenswert. Zimmer und sanitäre Einrichtungen sehr sauber. Ausstattung bietet alles, was man benötigt. Unkomplizierter Check-in, da man mit einem Zugangscode in sein Zimmer gelangt, was sehr praktisch ist, wenn man, wie ich, spät nschts ankommt.

Keskeinen sijainti lentokentän läheisyydessä. Huone pieni ja äänieristys heikko, käytäviltä kuuluvat äänet kantautuivat selvästi huoneisiin. Vuodetekstiilit uudistusta vaillla

Kätevä kulku lentokentälle ja hyvät sängyt.Taso oli ihan hyvä kun olimme vain yhden yön...eli täytti meidän tarpeet.Kylpyhyoneessa ei viemäri vetänyt ja siellä haisi tunkkainen.
