Good location and staff is good. Manger Alex and other staffs are very cooperative. Note - no lift, so you have to carry your luggage at first floor.

Perfect location as it is walkable to city center. Almost at the end of jonker walk. Really convenient yet quiet. Service staff are very welcoming and helpful. Even have water dispenser for hot,room temp and cold water. Definately recommend! Just to note that no lift but no issue for me.

It’s near to Jonker street which I can just walk down and grab my favourite food. It just 5 mins away from the daily fix cafe !! Definitely will come back to stay when I’m in Melaka.

地点位置很好，下楼这是夜市。走几步有 7-11，phamarcy。走多几步就可以吃到鸡饭粒，娘惹粽子，娘惹辣沙等等。素食的朋友也很方便，附近有Geographer Cafe, 有机素食，水仙素食园，满缘坊等。这家酒店的大厅是在二楼，酒店房都在二楼，要走楼梯。我住三人房，显得有点狭窄。住了四晚，并没有人来收拾房间。

Except it is not carpeted n at times there is a smell but go off after awhile. Overall is clean (esp the toilet is in good condition) n quite comfortable n location is good. Thank hotel.com

Hotel staff should have on the air conditioner prior to the arrival of the guest so that the guest would feel better when entering the room after exposing hot weather before checking in.

Worst staff & stuff -Fomecs Boutique Hotel Malacca

When we firstly set sight we were awed with its postcard beauty and strategic location. Sadly, it stopped there. As we checked in, we realised it was a bad decision stay for few nights in a hotel with unprofessional management comprised of nepotists and crony. We were very unhappy during the stay with lacking hospitality from mean management. We felt negative aura because they loved to assign blame to external factors and shoot poison remarks back to guests. In addition, every other luxury hotels would be accessible to Jonker Street with Grab/UBER - plus/minus RM10 fare. IMHO, it would be multiple times more comfortable and better services in Hatten or Equatorial to welcome you; with slight difference in charges compared to bare Fomecs. If you do opt for economic stay in Jonkers due to its magical UNESCO branding, there are no less than 20 hotels; and from there at least 5 hotels similar to Fomecs Boutique Hotel at 30% cheaper charges than Fomecs. Also, take note: Official car parks are very rare nearby the hotel streets. You may have to park elsewhere and carry luggages for x plus metres unless you are lucky. It is no longer the same as in the past you can park anywhere. We had to lug our luggages up the multiple flights of high stairway without help and that tired us. So, avoid staying here if you have trollley luggage bag; OR coming as family; OR you intend to spend more than 2 nights. Btw, we hope Fomecs revamp the management to avoid disappointment.

Poor value

Refused to allow us into the room and said that 3 pm was the checkin time even though rooms were ready. Staff said that it was to facilitate cleaning when zero cleaning was taking place when we looked around. Waiting area was hot and stuffy and hotel did not bother turning on the aircon. Rooms were clean but condition was starting to show signs of wear. Batteries in the remote for the TV and the aircon was weak. Operating the TV and the aircon required us to go really near the devices. Staff were not as freindly after we checked out. Small hotel bottles containing the Liquid soap, shampoo and conditioners were so hard, it was impossible to squeeze to get the liquid to flow out. Wifi connectivity was always breaking up. However, location was very good and near food stalls. If you love food, this is the perfect location. But choose another hotel Not recommended. Poor value for money.

Great Location

I love everything about my stay at Fomecs. The location is in the heart of Jonker street, the room is very comfortable and most importantly, the employees are exceptional. Special mention to Mr.Tan who went all the way out to help me get a cake for my birthday friend. He also kindly change my room from double to queen without any additional charges. All in all, Fomecs is a hotel you would want to stay for long.

Good for a nights. sleep

Comfortable beds. Many toiletries but had to ask for enough toilet paper and tissues twice during our two night stay. No windows. Hotel is right by the stage at the night market, which is a great location for exploring but the sound is as if in your room. Luckily it was over at eleven. Top shelf had not been dusted and covered our clothing with a thick layer of dust. Staff was very kind but not so clear at givng directions. Location is excellent. As we came to see the sights, shop and eat all was good. Not the kind of hotel you would want to hang out in your room but for a comfortable sleep it was fine.

Location is excellent with free car park. Eventhought it's a public parking lot but it's very nearby. Just cross the road. Just 1 thing, if you have senior citizen staying.. its not convenient since you need to walk up a level of stairs to the hotel.

Great location in the middle of Jonker Street

A simple boutique hotel which is conveniently located in Jonker Street. Especially good when finishes your night market and head straight back to hotel. Have a nice cafe called Backlane Coffee downstair. Staff were very helpful to change room for me from 2 single bed to 3 single bed. Overall, good stay for sleeping as we are out most of the time. Value for money!

Rooms with no windows

Didn't like the rooms because there were no windows. This was not relayed to us when we booked the rooms

Good Strategic location

Strategic location. Only walking distance to eat and shopping etc. Except the car park is located outside the hotel. The sad thing is the parking lot is not in the same building as the hotel.

Convenient and awesome place

Awesome stay.. Definitely will recommend others to stay.. Easy access to the attractions and food.. However, wifi is rather weak but it's still sufficient to do limited web browsing. Can't wait to book with that hotel again :)

The location may be a little further from the main entrance of Jonker Street, but most of the museums and food places were conveniently located in the neighbourhood so the distance was not really of a big issue/concern to my friends and I. The staff at the reception was really helpful and quite knowledgeable.

Although hotel do not have car park but they do provide free parking at a designated parking area.

Kesulitan untuk mencari sarapan pagi di sekitar joker street, karena rata2 toko dan jual makanan buka jam 10.00 pagi. Akan tetapi untuk hari Jum'at sd Minggu mulai pukul 18.00 sd 22.00 sekitar joker street banyak jual kuliner yang beraneka ragam, dan souvenir.

交通方便，就在最熱鬧的雞場街上，還可以在二樓陽台看到戲台，超讚的。住在老屋改建的房子裡，設備也很好，吃東西買東西也很方便

房間乾淨，枕頭很好睡，地點很方便逛街，價格又便宜，麻六甲旅遊景點都在附近，我会推薦給大家！
