Charming B and B

We had a lovely and very comfortable stay at Fleetwood Bed and Breakfast. Charming room, comfy bed, and delicious French toast and banana bread. Portland is a great destination for a quick getaway and this was a great place to stay.

Charming house with great hospitality and hosts who were very accommodating. Very good breakfast.

Nowhere on the website does it say you're sharing a bathroom. I'm told this is not uncommon for a B & B, but that has not been my experience and I think it's worth mentioning. Although it's a smoke-free environment now, it's a very old house, and to a sensitive nose it's clear that it hasn't always been smoke-free.

Linda abd Jim did everything possible to ensure our happy stay. Thank you.

Beautiful setting, wonderful hosts, and delicious breakfast. We had a wonderful visit with family while we stayed at the this Bed and Breakfast. I would recommend this anyone who is going to be in the area. Loved our stay!

Delightful stay at this charming B&B! House and room are lovely, spotlessly clean, and king bed was very comfortable. Jim & Linda were both very welcoming and their conversations made breakfast even more enjoyable. Highly recommend a Fleetwood House and look forward to staying there again when visiting Portland in the future.

The perfect example of old fashioned but not outdated. Every time we went into a room we kept commenting on how beautiful and unique each room was. Driving in through the city I was nervous it would be loud at night, but you’re far enough away to not get the noise and close enough to be close to all kinds of food and shopping options. The cats and complimentary breakfast make this exactly what you would want from a B&B.

Charming early 19th century property located away from the busy traffic and downtown noise. Hosts were extremely friendly, and breakfast was very good. The room was small and somewhat crowded but very charming.

Very close to the airport so very convenient for us. Lovely historic house. Very cosy and an amazing breakfast!!

It's a lovely home and the owners are very nice. Comfortable bed and wonderful breakfast. Sharing a restroom with other guests was a little inconvenient but understandable.

Last night in Maine

Second time my wife and I have stayed at the Fleetwood House and we would book it again. Easy access to downtown Portland and restaurants and quick drive to the airport, great.

Great spot for a quick stay!

This was our first B&B and it didn’t disappoint. We loved the proximity to downtown Portland (10min), although a car seems necessary. The rooms were cute, clean, and has comfortable beds. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious. The only negative is that you can smell cigarette smoke that seeps into the house/mildly in bedrooms, so if that bothers you it is useful to know. Otherwise great experience!

We booked 2 nights in the Fleetwood House B&D. When we arrived we find out that our room is coming with shared bathroom. We did not know about it when we made the reservation. I shared with the owner the confirmation email I received and the details in Expedia application. There was no indication of the shared bathroom. The owner told us she has no other room. In addition the room was very small and no refrigerator in the room. We decided to book another hotel and the owner refuse give us refund us. We were charged for the full amount.

Not up to Expectations

B&B in a charming older property but was not informed prior to booking about the shared bathroom down the hall. Dust in window unit AC. Friendly host but has two cats that roam the kitchen and the dining room! No local amenities so had to drive for meals.

The property is very charming, neat and clean. Linda is a most gracious host and took good care of us. I would rent from her again.

A nice quiet spot away from the hustle and bustle. Just a quick drive to get to downtown. The breakfast was delicious!

Nice stay. Linda and Jim (owners) are good people and I encourage a person to engage them in conversation. They are very interesting. The meal was great (French toast with straw- berries, coffee, fruit, yogurt). My wife and I enjoyed our table conversations with Olivia, Julia, Vicki, and Jim.

Cozy and comfortable

Lovely century home, cozy room, comfortable bed, and friendly hosts. Close to downtown and lical attractions. Breakfast was good, but no vegan options despite asking in advance for such.

Charming home and furnishings-owners are delightful!

The room was small but clean. The owners were super NICE. A good breakfast was made for the time we requested. Only downside was a shared bathroom... which isn't uncommon for some B&B's.

The location was ideal and the property was very nice. The staff was friendly and a very nice breakfast came with the room. Special touch was the s’mores around the fire pit !

There was little to no indication that the sheets, pillows, other soft surfaces cleaned between stays. Being a Bed & Breakfast was not expecting much. The bed was too big for the room, giving little ability to get around the space. Terrace view means overlooking the crowded driveway of a broken down vehicle and other cars. Street is not well maintained and looks quite beat up.

Absolutely charming

I had a wonderful stay. The host couple was incredibly welcoming. I felt at home within minutes. Great breakfast in the morning with nice other guests. Comfortable porch to relax. Really enjoyed my stay!
