Very friendly staff. Dated accommodation - mould around bathroom seals. Otherwise clean. No window in the bedroom, felt claustrophobic. Large lounge & kitchen area sacrificed sleeping accommodation. Harsh bright white lights, even in bedroom.

Great location. Easy walk to city center. Bus stop across the road to Airport. Apartment rooms are very spacious .

Great location, walking distance to Hagley Park and Oxford Tce and everywhere else you want to be in Christchurch City.

Very friendly staff and spacious rooms. It is an older facility, which shows in some areas, but it is kept very clean and well maintained. Our only negative was that there was no air conditioning in the suit. At night, we didn't want to leave the porch door open, as we had young children with us. So the suite became very hot and stuffy.

We enjoyed our stay at the Fino. Apartment style rooms, very spacious in a quiet location. Older hotel but nicely decorated rooms. Bathroom was small though and needed updating. Otherwise very pleased with the large 2 bedroom suite that had a large separate living area and kitchen and included a washer/dryer. Very close to the casino and walking distance to the cathedral area. Bus stop right across from the hotel which was convenient for taking the bus to/from the airport. First night we did not have any wi-fi but this was quickly resolved. Front desk staff very friendly and accommodating.

Suite was very spacious with a family of 5. Clean and had all the amenities that a family needs. Very close to attractions, shops and transport. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very friendly staff, location is great. Only issue was the visible stains on the bed skirting from previous guests.

Very spacious, well laid out, clean and comfortable apartments. Super comfy California King bed. Some apartments are even pet friendly! Above all staff we encountered were extremely friendly, polite and helpful.

Best location, great big spacious room, great customer service.

Brilliant stay, room was absolutely beautiful. Had a bit of difficulty figuring out the tv but once we did we were fine. They were booked to do upgrades on the tv system the day after our stay. Hotel staff were lovely especially the night staff on at the desk, he went above and beyond to help us out. Many thanks! We will be back

Great place with great access to down town

the staff are always so nice and make me and my partner who stay here frequently feel so welcomed! the rooms are absolutely gorgeous and they feel like a home away from home. there's lots of shops and places to eat quite close by as well. absolutely recommend :)

Excellent location near inner city. Christchurch is amazing beautiful with some of the best food in the world. Great movie theatre across from the bus station.

Good stay, nice room and close to city

Can you add a PowerPoint for hair straighteners into the bathroom. Was really inconvenient having to do it in the bedroom. Otherwise, the room was beautiful, amenities great, service was very friendly!

Only stayed one. Night. Clean and comfortable for our length of stay. Annoying light on 24/7 outside the main bedroom. Check in and check out easy.

Location & closeness to town hall is great but rooms are tired. Beds are comfy. Walk in shower set to low and floods entire bathroom.

Well appointed 1 bedroom apartment with balcony across from City Hall. Full kitchen, washing machine in unit. Much of downtown Christchurch is walkable. We really enjoyed our stay at Fino!

Clean and comfortable, wonderful restaurants in easy walking distance. Close to downtown. Very friendly staff. We would highly recommend this hotel.

The staff at really nice.

The Fino served our purpose well. It was close to the CBD but not right in it. The CBD was very walkable for two people in their early 60's. There was a tram station a little over a block away at the Quake City exhibit which made getting into the CBD much easier. We liked the kitchenette in the suite. We were able to find a small convenience store a block away across from the Casino. The negative which was not a negative for us was that the in hotel restaurant had closed two weeks before and was not available for use. However, we did eat breakfasts in our suite each morning so was not an issue

Convenient central stay

Our room was very large with all the amenities you could want for a long stay. It was a 10 minute walk into the centre of Christchurch or the botanical gardens.

Good location and short walking distance to casino. Disappointed there was no body wash or shampoo in containers that were fixed to shower wall. Appears someone filled them with water or very very diluted.

All good. Area around hotel is being redeveloped so limited activities immediately adjacent, but nice park across the street and not far to main downtown.

Comfortable and cosy.

Was a nice place to stay, very quiet and handy to bus stop across road and to town. Comfortable. No robes as advertised so that was a bit disappointing. Clean and tidy. The wet-floor shower makes a mess and water goes everywhere. Not a lot of hot water for family of four. Great staff that were very helpful. Would stay here again!

close to the CBD

Location: very easy walk to parks museums, city centre shops, and Riverside market. Rooms and environment: the building looks nice, rooms were well planed, cosy, tidy, quiet, and bigger than average. Service: very good! We couldn't connect our device to the TV, they changed the TV for us very next day.

Great location, very clean and tidy and spacious only thing to let it down was an extremely uncomfortable couch.

Too much noise from aisles in the morning.

Property was old but clean. Only down side was you could hear other rooms all night. Room next door had smokers and could smell if in our room.

Our second stay here and is a great place to stay whilst visiting Christchurch. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and situated for an easy walk to the city centre and the Botanical Gardens.

Great stay. Will definitely be back to stay again

im new to the christchurch area and me and my partner had a very easy time navigating! the staff were kind enough to allow me to pay the night after i got there so i could contact my bank about paying for my stay the next day and always greeted me and my partner when we came back after an outing. we got the most basic suite and even that was beautiful! the courtyard is gorgeous, the rooms are comfortable and modern yet homey and there's lots of things to do, food to try and stores to explore close by.

It was a lovely place to stay.So helpful and nothing was a problem.The bathroom was a little tired but nothing wrong with the workings of it.Very good value for money.

Great location, large room

The rooms are spacious and well equipped, but are looking a little tired in spots. Our room was certainly very comfortable but it really needed to be painted. But understandably, the pandemic put a lot of these types of finishing touches on the back burner. But still a very good place to stay.

Was okay to stay there as only there to sleep. Had a two bedroom and out of the Four nights the spare room only got made up twice even with the sign up.

Huge room and two baths and laundry—very nice.

It is not cheap but everything is excellent. Real 5 star

Great location,apartment and service

An exceptionally comfortable stay, in a spacious & well-equipped apartment. I had only the one ‘issue’ and I was really ‘listened to’ and every effort made to solve the problem - and make me a very happy guest!

we thought the staff were extremely helpful and great at making things work for us. We were a bit disappointed that the dining option was very limited, but to be fair there's a fare few options within easy reach.

The apartments were specious and clean. Location was perfect for me as i was meeting friends at the casino. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

It was a good hotel. The website advertises parking, but you have to pay $10 per night, it is not included in the price.

In desperate need of an upgrade. Old carpets bathroom was terrible and smelt of mould. Big apartment but old

Great stay. One wee hiccup that they sorted immediately and very accommodating lovely staff. Will stay again!

It was great being so close to town and near transport options. The couch was very dirty, the bath had a crack in it and we had no soap for washing.
