Very friendly

Perfect place close to Rhodes airport

Was a really nice and friendly stay close to Rhodes airport. Good homemade food and nice service.

beautiful Greek guest house hotel family run business with mr Nikos and his beautiful wife preparing delicious food for tourists like us, me and my family especially the kids enjoyed this hotel and the pool and each night dinner was great thank you and sure we will visit it next summer PS: minutes walk to the beach, 5 min drive to the airport, 15 min drive to rhodes old city

Friendly Filoxenia

Lovely spacious apartments run by a gracious and friendly family and nothing is too much trouble for them.

Lovely apartments and staff.

Stayed for a blissful week - the apartments and pool areas were spotless. Niko and his wife were friendly and very helpful. There is a bus stop outside the Hotel which goes to Rhodes for 3 Euros each. The mini golf was a bonus although there is a small charge. Would definitely recommend.

Exceeded expectation on so many levels

First of all, Nikos & Evangelina are 2 of the most hospitable & welcoming people you could ever meet. The food served at the restaurant is excellent & many of the flavours come from their beautifully kept gardens. Had some of the best meals in Rhodes at Filoxenia, especially the BBQ on Friday night. Absolutely loved the week spent here and would recommend it to anyone. Rooms are spacious and clean with fairly basic amenities and the island itself has plenty to explore also. Recommend a day trip to Symi Island if you have the time

Excellent place to be

Beautiful place, the nices hosts you can get (thankyou nikos and angelika), excellent location, the cleanest place we have ever seen (so clean you can eat from the floor :) we loved it.

First class hotel restaurant on site

our 5th stay with Nikos and Evangelina realy like being at home with nothing too much trouble wonderful food on site and spotless rooms and the whole site is clean and tidy would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like authentic home made food from home produced produce. An ideal Greek experience.

Warm friendly atmosphere

This was our second holiday in Greece and the Filoxenia was our choice again this year.Friendly helpful staff well kept gardens pool and rooms made it well worth staying there

A little gem, perfect for exploring the island

Brilliant family run hotel. The cleanest hotel I have ever been in. Considering we went towards the end of the season, everything was perfect. The hotel is super close to the airport, you can jump on the local bus from the airport (15-20 mins) or it's a 10 mins taxi ride away. The bus stop is directly outside of the hotel. We also hired a car for the day from the hotel to explore the island, I would highly recommend this. There is a pebble beach about a 5-10min walk away from the hotel, it's a lovely stretch of beach for a nice stroll along, it's also suitable for swimming. We also found a traditional, family-run, Greek restaurant in Fanes by the harbour that's served lovely Greek food (can be found on TripAdvisor), otherwise there are a lot of restaurants in the town closest to the hotel. The hotel also has its own restaurant which is lovely and well priced, they also use produce grown on the hotel grounds, so everything is super fresh. Overall this hotel is amazing value for money and I would definitely return.

Very welcoming

Never been to Greece before. What can I say? Such a friendly place as soon as we arrived we felt as if we had been there for ages. Nicos and Eva are the best couple ever.They work so hard to make sure everyone is happy with their stay and no job is too big for them.They remember you name aswell which is very rare with other hotels. The hotel is lovely and clean plus we felt safe there through out our stay. We sat on our balcony with a lovely sea view. The cleaners and staff never stop they are constantly on the go. Definately go again and would suggest others try it too. Filoxenia puts some 4 and 5 star hotels to shame.

Great hotel, lovely staff

We had a fantastic stay at Filoxenia. The rooms were great, clean and comfortable with views of the sea and olive groves. The swimming pools were perfect and the restaurant served great local food as well as other international dishes. But the best thing about the hotel was the owners (Nico and his family) and the staff - they were friendly, attentive and helpful and helped create a great atmosphere around the place. When we were not happy with the first rooms we were given they were accommodating and gave us new rooms as soon as they became available. We really loved the hotel and would recommend it to friends wishing to visit Rhodes.

Great family-run property.

Friendly Family-run property and an incredible value. The restaurant offered a great range of Greek cuisines and Nickos and Evangelina and their staff were very helpful in making the most of our visit to Rhodes. My only quibble is wifi not being available in the rooms, and ours was also in a signal dead zone. All communication had to come from the public area. But, the bed mattress was the most comfortable of our Greece trip!

Perfect

Amazing place, cannot do enough for you , nothing is to much trouble, what an amazing family already planning our return trip. We met people who return year after year I now understand why. Thank you for giving us a truly great holiday nickos

Great hotel!

Stayed with my teenage daughter for a week in August. Convenient location (10 minute taxi journey from the airport), wonderful staff, sheets/towels changed and rooms cleaned daily, very reasonably priced food, good pools with no shortage of sun loungers. Would highly recommend.

Good base, two pools, need a car to explore Rhodes

Very friendly. Rooms cleaned every day. Not too large so easy to get a lounger by the pools... Easy half hour drive to Rhodes town or even nearer for lallysos for decent food. Good value base.

Lovely apartments close to Buttlerfly Valley

We had a fantastic stay at these wonderful apartments. The apartments are very clean and the family than run it couldn't be nicer. Nothing was too much trouble. The apartments are on the quieter side of the island, which makes for a wonderful relaxing holiday. They have two pools, extremely clean. Food was delicious. There is a supermarket only a few minutes down the road, so you can top up on basic essentials. It's not too far to Rhodes old town, and close also to the Butterfly valley, both are worth a visit. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a relaxing holiday. Went for a week, wish I could have stayed for two. Would definitely go back if i had the chance.

Filoxenia Hotel Apartments

I took some considerable time reasearching where to stay including a number of important factors for us, to provide a relaxing laid back holiday and am pleased to say our expectations were exceeded in every way. The number of guests arriving for their second stay here says it all.

Great value for the money!

This hotel is not the Ritz but for the value it is the best in its class. Very clean, friendly staff and comfortable beds. The food is excellent and affordable. Service was more than expected. We will stay here again in a heart beat!

Family very friendly and helpful

Not enough electric points no hair dryer but minor problems overtaken by the extremely enjoyable time we had there with very welcoming patrons would definitely go there again

Lovely family-run small hotel.

We had a wonderful time here. The owners are incredibly friendly without being overbearing. (Our children also fell in love with the dog.) The pools were great and there was never any problem getting a deck-chair! The food was delicious, authentic Greek cooked by the family who own the hotel. But there were also pizzas on the menu that suited the children. The accommodation was cleaned daily and we were surprised at how spacious it was. Having a fridge with an ice box was brilliant for freezing bottles of water! Filoxenia is definitely good value! We recommend it without reservation.

Lovely family run place

On arriving at the Filoxenia my husband,teenage son and I were greeted warmly by the hosts Evangalia and Nicos. The apartment was very clean although we found the beds a little on the hard side and the shower difficult to use without saturating the bathroom, as the shower head does not have a overhead holder. There was a small kitchenette unit with two electric rings, a sink and full size fridge. As we ate out all through our stay I could not say if this was adequate, I don't imagine you could cook a family meal but it was fine for making a snack and there was also a decent kettle but nowhere to plug it in other than in the seperate bedroom, on the dressing table. We mainly ate at the Filoxenia and all the meals were delicious, fresh and the portion sizes were huge. Saturday night is barbecue night where Nicos cooked all the meat and fish on his brick built barbecue next to the eating area. The restaurant is very quiet and there are not many other bars/restaurants nearby other than taking a bus or taxi ride to the next town or village, great if you like it quiet. The pools are lovely with plenty of sunbeds, but I would recommend you try and get the blue and white ones, as opposed to the white plastic ones, as they are far more comfortable. Mike, the hosts son, works in the bar and restaurant and, like his parents is very welcoming and friendly. Overall I would recommend the Filoxenia just for the warm, friendly family and everything else is a bonus.

Fun family friendly hotel

My husband and I stayed at Filoxenia for a week, from 16th July 2014. This was our last holiday together as a child-free couple, as we are expecting our first baby in October. First impressions were lovely. We were greeted by Panos, one of the owners sons. We were on a late flight so his friendly welcome and complimentary drink were really appreciated. The atmosphere in and around the bar was chilled out and we immediately felt we made the right choice for a relaxing holiday. However, we were then advised that our room for the week wasn't available, and that we would have to spend the first night in an alternative room, then move the next day. Not ideal when you just want to unpack and start to enjoy your holiday, without living out of a suitcase for the first day. However, the owner, Niko, was very pleasant and reassuring and arranged for our luggage to be moved for us the next day, while we were out and about, so it was no big issue in the end. We spent our week touring the island, shopping in Rhodes old town (beautiful) and relaxing by the pool. All staff were really friendly and chatty, and really made us feel at home. The children's cocktails they made for me were delicious! as were the fresh meals with different options every day. Overall we were sad to leave Filoxenia. We felt we made new friends in the owners and staff, and we'd love to go back again one day with our little one.

A very relaxed stay .true taste of greece

Lovely kept gardens .friendly family hotel.clean fresh rooms.lovely friendly dog.who meets greets you.and says goodbye when it's time to leave. Would recommend for families with vary young children or 12 plus

Very nice family run hotel

The hotel was very good with excellent staff the family did all they could to make our stay .the town was not very lively so nenes car to travel around.

Amazing hospitality

I was lucky enough to arrive on BBQ night (Sat eve) which was well worth it. The food at their restaurant is amazing and the prices are more than reasonable. The room was comfortable and it was cleaned daily. For self-catering, it was perfect. I will say that it is a good idea to bring an eye mask as well as ear plugs. The curtains aren't going to block out the bright sun, and the insects are very noisy :) There is plenty to do on the property with 3 pools that are kept in excellent condition, along with on-site games such as pool, mini-golf, giant chess, etc. The beach is a short stroll away and the bus stops right outside. There is a supermarket about 10 minutes from the hotel too. The best part of the hotel, is the family who run it. They were warm and welcoming and always available to help. They made you feel like part of the family and it was sad to leave. It is definitely a place I'd go again.

Relaxing location

Fantastic hospitality. Located on the outskirts of a small village. Not for you if you want somewhere with a huge choice of bars and restaurants, but if you want genuine hospitality and a relaxing atmosphere then you must stay here! Highly recommended.

Fantastic Hospitality

We had a wonderful stay at Filoxenia. The room was spacious and clean with a lovely balcony overlooking the sea. Lovely swiimg pool and hardens. The standout feature of this hotel is the fantastic service and hospitality received from the Owners. You are made to feel like family and nothing is too much trouble to organize. The restaurant provides excellent home cooking - we ate there every day. Highly recommended.

Lovely small family run hotel

Small hotel, family run. Wonderful atmosphere and owners could not do enough for you. Food excellent, accommodation basic but very clean and bright. Quiet location, not for you if you like a sandy beach!! Local bus service right outside hotel, very reasonable.

Séjour agréable

Un petit hôtel sympathique à taille humaine. La chambre était conforme à ce que nous avions réservé. Le cadre tout autour de l’hôtel est tres charmant : jardin bien entretenu et fleuri, arbres fruitiers…nous avons mangé plusieurs fois au restaurant de l’hôtel, la nourriture est excellente et le tarif est correcte (soirée barbecue entre autre), enfin les propriétaires de l’établissement sont très gentils et très investis dans la tenue de leur hôtel

Nach 2019 unser zweiter Besuch in diesem Hotel. Die Anlage ist immer noch sehr sauber, das Inhaber Ehepaar ist extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Das Essen ist immer noch sehr gut und bezahlbar. Eine echte Empfehlung für alle die etwas abseits von den großen Touristen Herbergen Urlaub machen möchten.

Le cadre est tres sympa et verdoyant. Les chambres tres propres avec du mobilier simple. Quelques points négatifs: La clim est payante en plus et surtout on entend beaucoup trop le bruit des avions...

Super Aufenthalt in Flughafennähe

Hatte ein tolles Appartement mit Blick aufs Meer. Das Personal ist super. Das Essen etwas teuer ich hab es nicht probiert.

Eine wunderschöne und sehr saubere Hotelanlage. Das Filoxenia wird von der Besitzer Familie geführt und man fühlt sich ab dem ersten Moment sehr wohl. Die Zimmer waren. Sehr sauber und in einem sehr guten Zustand. In unseren Zimmern haben einige Fernsehsendung nicht funktioniert, der Besitzer hat sich sofort darum gekümmert und das Problem beseitigt. Die Anlage selbst liegt etwas entfernt von Touristenzentrum was uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder, unsere Erwartungen wurden wirklich übertroffen.

Tout était parfait ! Le lieu est charmant , très beau et bien entretenu. Conforme aux photos sur site. Les équipements sont extras. Les logements propres et spacieux. La nourriture est délicieuse . Et surtout l'accueil des propriétaires et de tout le personnel est incroyable. Bienveillants , dévoués et professionnels avec un supplément d'âme .. on se sent bien comme chez soi.

En sand perle på den rare side af Rhodos

Hotellet, ejere og personale var skønne og imødekommende, værelset var rent og pænt. En sand lille perle. Eneste ulempe var de meget hårde madrasser og høje hovedpuder.

Des propriétaires au top et un hôtel où rien ne manque et un personnel vraiment gentil et agréable. Le restaurant est aussi excellent rapport qualité/prix.

Super til prisen!

Fantastisk fint og hyggeligt hotel til prisen. Vi var især glade for pool- og bar/restaurantområdet. Utroligt flinke og søde ejere og ansatte - man føler at de oprigtigt går op i at man får et super ophold. Sengene på værelset var ikke de bedste og badet var ikke alt for smart indrettet, men herudover ikke noget at sætte en finger på! Retaurenten der er tilknyttet hotellet er ganske ok, ikke dårlig, men heller ikke fantastisk :) Hvis jeg kommer tilbage til Rhodos, skal jeg helt sikkert bo her.

A very warm atmosphere

Very friend owners and a very warm atmosphere at the hotel. We (2 adults and 3 boys age 6-13) loved the stay and will be comming back.

Wie bei Muttern :-) !

Sehr herzlicher Empfang und Betreuung durch das Eigentümerpaar. Schon nach kurzer Zeit haben wir uns wie Zuhause gefühlt und wollten gar nicht mehr weg. Bei Hitze ist der Pool unbezahlbar. Das hauseigene Restaurant können wir nur empfehlen. Alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt, ist preiswert und es sind "holiday portions" :-) Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Das Hotel ist super - einfach, aber mit allem, was man braucht Die Hotel-"Eltern" nehmen sich immer Zeit und erfüllen einem jeden Wunsch Das Essen ist traditionell und schmeckt wahnsinnig gut Jeden Tag wird das Zimmer geputzt und man bekommt neue Handtücher und Bettwäsche kleine Küche mit 2 Herdplatten, einem Kühlschrank und Koch- sowie Esszubehör

Lauter Kühlschrank im Zimmer

Haben nur eine Nacht hier verbracht. Jedoch konnten wir nicht schlafen da der Kühlschrank laute Geräusche von sich gab und sich nicht abstellen / ausstecken lies... ...war mit den Nerven am Ende wollte schon den Kabel durchschneiden.

Hotel ben gestito

L'hotel, con parcheggio privato, è stata un'ottima base per visitare l'isola in macchina. L'aeroporto e la città di Rodi sono vicini. Inoltre possiede vari servizi (piscine, ristorante/bar,...) anche per chi non vuole spostarsi molto ed i proprietari sono gentilissimi.
