充実した毎日を過ごせました

エクスカーションのWhale Shark Snorkelling Tripは残念ながら日程が合わなかったので参加できませんでしたが、スタッフの方が前の週に撮ったジンベイザメと一緒にとても近い距離でシュノーケリングをしている動画は羨ましい限りでした。もしまた来ることができたら、スケジュールを事前にチェックしてぜひ参加したいです。 アイランドホッピングでは観光地ではない地元の方が生活している島を訪れた後、シュノーケリングまで楽しめます。 スパはアロマと強めのマッサージをアレンジするなど、希望に沿って施術してくれて大満足でした。 メインレストランで豚肉が出ることはありませんでしたが、厨房で作られた料理やスイーツは毎日工夫され（メキシカンナイトもありました）、飽きずにお腹いっぱいいただきました。 帰国の飛行機が深夜便だったのですが、ホテルの方からマレの市内観光を提案していただき、案内の方を手配してもらってモスクや市場を巡りました。空港でぼんやり数時間を無駄に過ごすことなく、楽しい思い出を増やすことができました。

We had a lovely stay at Filitheyo. The buffet style meals offered plenty of options. Amazing snorkeling, right off of our overwater bungalow. The staff were very friendly and attentive. A beautiful resort and a very good value.

Nice quiet island resort with amazing staff.

It should have been a beautiful island 10 years back. Unfortunately due to lack of maintenance, everything there (rooms, common areas, beach, etc…) is getting ruined. Lots of plastic bottles and other rubbish things all around. Most of the time, no hot water in the shower and sometimes no water at all in the bathroom. Another bad point : bottle of water is chargeable in full board package. My husband and I are fond of diving. Twelfth time in the Maldives/ Filitheyo being the eighth resort where we’ve stayed in. Fortunately, diving there is super great ! The dive centre is excellent, well managed and very professional.

overall excellent experience; no glaring problems

The New Year's Eve Celebration was extremely underwhelming. There was no countdown, the party props included the cheapest party hats possible, no noise makers, no fireworks, no atmosphere at all. This resort is in desperate need of an event planner!!

Great time on the island. Make sure to pickup a sim card at the airport 30gb for $50usd. Food was great, service standard and overall a great time. Wouldn't mind a few more excursions but overall a great stay.

Management was horrible! Only nice people are the workers but the front desk has no idea of what costumer service is. Very disappointed! I would give this place 2 stars….

Everything is just soo good. Right from the sea plane transfer to the boat ride to the welcome... just perfect. Beautiful beaches all around the island, wonderful main resto and a marvellous SUNSET BAR (Special shout out to Rubel - Waiter at the bar) Just loved snorkelling there. Also, will not forget the breeze at the jetty.

A beautiful island

This was my first trip to Maldives. I had high expectations and they have certainly been exceeded. The flight to the island by seaplane was nice and as the boat carried me to the island, you could tell this was going to be a fascinating and relaxing place. Just to mention the resort highlights: Staff: All staff have been wonderful to me. Right from the beginning they remembered my name, also asked if I needed anything and remembered my preferred places to seat. All special requirements, like restaurant visits, dietary request as well as help with all other organizational issues were taken care immediately. Dining: The island has two restaurants, one with with a la carte menus. Special mention and thank you to Hussain, Mufazol, Rubel and Raj who did a fantastic service. The main restaurant, where breakfast and dinner is served, offers fresh food with daily changing themes (Asian, continental, etc.) The restaurant has a relaxing atmosphere and was a good walking distance from my room. A special mention to Head Chef Sohel, who did a great job. Accomodation: I had water villa with a wonderful views and a beach villa facing the sea. I could jump from my own stairwell into the ocean and went snorkeling right infront of the villa. A special mention to Vaisakh, Muja and Missy. Thank you for a wonderful time. I was also happy to observe that the staff maintained Covid social distancing and all staff wore face masks. Overall the island is very beautiful and I really enjoyed my stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the island has a wonderful reef for snorkelling. The food was varied and delicious. The island is quite basic and unspoilt compared to some of the more boutique upmarket islands, it has a special charm.

Fantastic resort, with a awesome reef where you can swim with turtles, rays, and an array of fish. We went all inclusive and it was well worth it, staff were awesome and kept your drinks topped up at all times, and the food is out of this world. The rooms are a little tired, but still comfortable. My only gripe was the dive center. If your planning on just snorkeling and your staying a while take your own equipment, the hire equipment is poor and very used, and you will be charged if an item breaks in your possession even if it was faulty before or had already passed it's useful life, and that charge is more than the cost of buying your own equipment.

As a seasoned traveler this resort exceeded our expectations on all levels, staff, lodging, room cleanliness, overall resort atmosphere and most of all the food. You have an award winning Team and resort. A large percentage of the patrons were returning guests, truly a testament to the satisfaction delivered on behalf of your staff, atmosphere and attention to details. Vacation in Filitheyo

I was charged $1300 extra upon arrival, I had been sent multiple confirmations stating the reservation was for two ppl. At NO point was it mentioned that there was an additional charge for the second person, I thought I had paid everything but was forced to either forfeit all expenses or pay the extra $1300!! This is unacceptable. Furthermore, I paid for "All-Inclusive" which doesn't really include anything. The only food thats included is the buffet. The only drinks included are well drinks and 5 cocktails!! We were there 5 days, thats one cocktail a day!!! And the 5 cocktails you are allowed are a special list that don't include popular items like Tequila Sunrise or Pina Coladas. This is really ridiculous to charge for "All-Inclusive" and then have to literally pay for everything INCLUDING A GAME OF POOL??!!! I was extremely unhappy with the resort and what they offered. The room was clean however, we didn't receive fresh towels every day only every other. The staff was very friendly and accommodating but the property was poorly maintained and there were holes in the rooftops. Be aware, if you are American and have been to the Caribbean do not expect the same level of luxury from this resort. I spent a lot on this trip and was forced to pay to play a game of pool. This is just unacceptable.

We stayed at this resort with two of our daughters for our anniversary. All the staff were friendly with most speaking reasonable English. Out of the two weeks there, we only had one less than perfect day when it rained a little but there were still lots of things to do inside; table tennis, pool, darts and of course the all day movie channel (although satellite reception wasn't great with lip-sync issues).

Holiday to remember

Booked the Superior Beach 89 which had a great view to the sea and easy access to the reef. Also only booked half board which was the best option for us. We had what we wanted which included full snorkel equipment hire and the night fishing and still saved several hundred pounds on the full board option. Happy hour allowed for the drinks to be reasonable and the food was plentiful at breakfast and evening meal. Actually the food was excellent, so much to chose from and lots of local traditional dishes. Massive advantage, no Russians trying to push in and eat all the food!! Snorkeling was awesome with so many different fish so never got bored. We arrived in a storm and left in a storm but the 6 days in between were just sun sun sun! In my opinion the extra cost of the sea bungalow and deluxe (detached) are not worth the money. The superior bungalows were excellent and great location.

Fabulous house reef

This is our second time at this resort. Both times, we visited in October - low season but more affordable for us. The seaplane ride was great and took about 35 minutes. We arrived at around 8:30 am and were able to check into our room immediately. We stayed at a water villa and loved it. My wife and I thoroughly enjoy snorkelling and this was our primary reason for our second visit. Our typical day consisted of breakfast, snorkelling, lunch, snorkelling, reading, dinner, reading, sleep. Wake up and repeat the previous day's agenda. This made us very happy. A spectacular moment was snorkelling on the reef just off our back deck and watching a huge 3m manta feeding on the tiny fish. As he/she fed all day, 8 smaller mantas played all day feeding as well. We couldn't have asked for anything better than this. There's lots of fish and the coral is fairly healthy. The food at the restaurant was very good, although one does get a bit tired of buffet style after a while.

Awesome relaxing resort

Filitheyo island resort was amazing, staffs were friendly and warm, room(overwater bungalow) was big, clean and comfortable, food was delicious, house reef was beautiful, overall it was way beyond our expectations. Defintely recommended and would go back again.

value for money

Not a luxury resort as many other Maldives choices, but has excellent house reef, good food and services. Though the room a bit tired out and too many insects, we have comfortable stay in the interconnected superior villa. Thinking about the low season price and good half board dinner, it is great value for money.

paradise

the island is a beauty, the riff is rich and gorgeous. we stayed in a water villa that was very comfortable, felt private and had a beautiful view and a soothing breeze. we've taken half board and the food was good with a wide selection. the only down side was that the main dinning area is not by the water front and therefore quite warm and stuffy. All together we had a great time and felt that it was a good value for money

Great Island

The island was great: relaxing, private, natural and exciting. Staff are excellent - every one of them. Very helpful, dligent and good at their jobs. Food was superb, plentiful and lots of variety. The best thing to do (apart from chilling!) was the snorkelling, which was very exciting. We would recommend this island to families and couples. Great value for money.

Di questa struttura mi è piaciuto veramente tutto,lunica nota negativa è stato il cameriere al ristorante che x tutto il soggiorno è stato veramente carino,ma penultimo giorno dopo avergli dato una mancia di 30 dollari sembrava scocciato e non ci ha nemmeno salutato Veramente scortese.

Very special house reef to snorkeling. Friendly staff. Food was very good and tasty. Pieceful beach life and quiet evenings were one of the best things there. This was our third trip in Filitheyo but not the last.

Filitheyo Island har et stort plus og det er husrevet - det er levende og fyldt med fisk. Levende koraller er et særsyn også på Maldiverne. Selve øen er lille og hyggelig, men også noget slidt og rodet. På hele østsiden af øen støder du nemt ind i affald og grenafklip fra palmer og træer, det giver et noget rodet udtryk. Hele Nordsiden af øen er en lang sandstrand hvorfra der også er adgang til den bedste del af husrevet. Personalemæssigt får Resortet fem stjerner. Personalet er imødekommende og venligt uden at virke påtrængende. Til gengæld er maden desværre kun til to stjerner. Maden er ikke særlig varieret og meget af det er meget stærk mad, selv for trænede ganer. selve kvaliteten af maden er der dog ikke noget at sætte en finger på. Værelserne er noget slidte men det er ikke noget der har nogen betydning for selve oplevelsen. Vil man have luksusferie på Maldiverne er det ikke til Filitheyo man skal tage.

Fantastisk snorkling

Vi hadde tre flotte uker og har ikke angret en eneste dag på at vi valgte Filitheyo Helt fantastisk snorkling og de som jobber på øya er helt fantastiske :_) Særlig de på sunset bar :-) For en flott gjeng..det eneste å pirke på for min del er at det var mye fisk og curryretter ..men vi fant alltid noe å spise dessertene og den hjemmelagde isen er full Score :-) Tusen takk for oppholdet ..Vi kommer gjerne tilbake

Nettiyhteydet huonot, jos niitä tarvitsee. Rakennukset aika kuluneet ja tarvitsee remonttia. Palaamme varmasti uudelleen vuoden päästä!

Friendly service; pleasant casual atmosphere. Snorkeling on the house reef just a few metres from the villas is world class. The villas are a little tired but overall this resort is excellent value for money.

Passamos dias incríveis nesse hotel, um lugar seguro, de muita paz e conexão com a natureza, todos são muito atenciosos, com destaque para o nosso garçom Salam, sempre simpático e disposto a nos servir da melhor maneira possível.

Una bellissima struttura per chi cerca qualcosa di semplice ma al tempo stesso autentico. Immersa nel verde con un bellissimo reef, questa struttura manca davvero poco per poter raggiungere le 5 stelle. La consiglio per chi non cerca il lusso ma un posto autentico, i punti di forza come già detto sono la spiaggia, il reef ed il verde.

Очень понравился отель - остров не самый маленький, есть где погулять, правда, примерно половина была в запустении, не заселена - сказывается карантин. Высокие пальмы, красивые пляжи, практически везде хороший вход в воду и шикарнейший риф. Великолепно!

As with our previous 2 visits, the quality of service in every area was excellent. Food quality and choice is also excellent. But the best feature is for us the simplicity of the island and the sandy lagoon directly in front of the bungalow.

Partage entre plage privatisée et snorkeling.

Séjour partagé entre le farniente et la plongée avec masque et tuba. La villa Deluxe offre effectivement le calme et l'intimité recherchés au bord de plage quasiment privatif et ombragé. Les récifs coralliens sont proches et très poissonneux, quelquefois un peu houleux mais on peut se laisser dériver... Belle variété de poissons avec possibles tortues, murènes, requins... Dommage que le confort de la literie soit moyen, en particulier les oreillers. La cuisine est correcte et variée malgré le nombre de repas servis.

Bonne nourriture,amabilité du personnel et disponibilité mais s’effrite au fil de la semaine. Très bon centre de plongé.

Traditionelles Resort mit naturbelassenem Strand und Urwald. Für uns genau das richtige Barfußambiente und Genuss pur. Keine Verpflichtung wie Dresscode, kein unnötiger Ramsch, keine Beschallung, keine Animation Erholung pur bei sensationellem Essen und sehr nettem Personal. Einmalig schön mit reichhaltigem Fischriff.

Ich war mit meinem Mann und meiner Schwester Anfang August auf Filitheyo. Und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Buchung und Planung Schon bei der Buchung des Transfers und der Geburtstagsüberraschung für meine Schwester ist alles Reibungslos abgelaufen. Gleich nach der Zahlung bei Expedia, bekam ich eine Mail, mit der Bitte um Bekanntgabe der Daten von allen Reisenden und den Flügen, damit der Weiterflug via Wasserflugzeug arrangiert werden kann. Ankunft Gleich bei der Ankunft wurden wir (Wiederholungstäter) mit einem kleinen Snack und einen Drink begrüßt. Ein netter Herr vom Empfang hat uns noch einmal alle Details über die Insel, das Essen und die Zimmer erklärt. Die Koffer und das Handgepäck wurden von sehr netten Pagen für uns auf die Zimmer gebracht und wir konnten gleich den Strand und das Schöne Wetter genießen. Zimmer und Anlage Die Zimmer (Superior Bungalows) sind mit dem Nötigsten ausgestattet. Es gibt ein Großzügiges Doppelbett mit Moskitonetz, das jeden Abend schon hergerichtet wird und eine Klimaanlage. Die Bungalows liegen zwischen Palmen nur wenige Meter vom Strand entfernt. Der Strand ist einfach wunderschön. Bis auf ein paar Korallen und Muscheln, blockiert nichts den Weg ins "kühle" Nass. Essen und Trinken Wir hatten AI gebucht und konnten drei Mahlzeiten in Buffetform genießen. Das Essen ist zum größten Teil indisch mit ein paar Internationalen Gerichten und sehr viel, sehr frischem Fisch. Das Resort ist einfach empfehlenswert. Und die Tauchbasis ist Top
